👤I want a full refund for this bike. The issues with this bike are listed here. It was impossible to ride 2 because one of the peddles did not fit inside the screw. I couldn't find the correct size for the handle bar because I have a tool box. There is an instruction manual for a completely different bike. Completely different.
👤We were not able to use the bike because it was too small for my son, so I can't post a review about it. The box says 3-4, and the Amazon description says it can be used for kids up to 2 years old. The max height is 34 inches, according to the box. My son is two years old and will not be able to ride this bike for a long time. We had to return the item because it didn't state the height on the description, and we couldn't give it to my son. The bike is cute and fun for paw patrol fans. I wish we had kept it for my son to enjoy.
👤Quick to assemble. Son likes it. The 16” is perfect for a 54” child.
👤It is very difficult to assemble. The screws weren't there. On Christmas morning, my toddler loved seeing it in front of the tree. I don't have a lot of furniture so he's enjoying it inside.
👤I bought this bike for my 3 year old because she has been wanting a bike for a long time. I got her a paw patrol helmet to match the bike. The size is perfect for her and she loves it. This bike is awesome. The bike is easy to assemble, the tires are comfortable, and the foot brakes are good. My daughter loved it and is trying to learn how to use it, every time she sees the bike she is as happy as the first time she saw it. I'm including a video of her reaction to getting her gift.
👤I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to because I want to warn others after giving my daughter this piece of unsafe shit. The front wheel and handle bars come out of alignment despite being adjusted and tightened. It can't be used for more than a minute without it coming out of alignment, and as a result it can't be safely turned. We purchased it last year and used it a few times, but then had an issue with the steering. We left it alone for the winter and then brought it out again because I was concerned that it would come out of whack again. We went a few feet and one of the training wheels popped off. She could've been hurt if I wasn't right there. I don't blame my daughter for being afraid to ride a bike because of this bad experience. It was assembled and tightened many times. This junk can hurt and traumatize children.
👤It was a gift for someone. A replacement bike was ordered after the bike was lost. The box was broken up when the original order arrived. The replacement order arrived and it was a completely different bike. The original bike was assembled by me. The bead of the tires wouldn't stay on the rim even if you tried to hold them in place with your hand, because the rubber of the tires was so cheap. Returned both bikes.
Accepts wheels up to 27.5” with or without tire and without tire for 29er 700c needs. rim width is up to 3.8” The hub can be up to 150mm. More comfortable knobs. Front and rear wheels are accommodated by uprights. The spring- loaded calipers and arm prevent binding. Heavy gauge steel is plated in nickel chrome. It was smooth and accurate. Can be bench mounted or installed in a bench vice. Bonus spoke tools are black for 80 gauge. The green is for 80 gauge. Red is for 80 gauge. The weight is 7.80 kilogram (17.20 lbs) made in Taiwan. You can order now and pay free. They can provide a life time warranty for their product. It was made in Taiwan.
👤We used it to build 5 sets of wheels for our charity bike company. The stand from the company with the blue and white logo is better, but it is $100 less. I highly recommend this stand. There is a I wanted to make a correction to the original review, because I am a bit of a perfectionist and I noticed that the wheels I recently built looked slightly off center. I will be able to adjust every wheel I built after I properly center the stand. I have reduced my review to 2 stars.
👤You can build your own wheels for a great price. The stand is cheaper than the big name stand. It can be mounted in a table vise or on a table. Presta valve caps were added to protect the wheel finish. I added a dial indicator to the harbor freight arm to read the run out of discs. The stand has held up well over the years. The adjustment knob was not easy to turn. I loosened the collar inside the vertical arms and now it turns and adjusts like butta! Why spend more for home use? You will get the same results.
👤The product is a perfect substitute for the more expensive Park tool stands. It is true that you must center it yourself before using it. The claws are easily adjusted. Use a ruler to get it centered. Do your homework on the parts, watch the instructional video attached on the Amazon page, and follow along with the videos on how to make a wheel. There is a My bike feels safer than ever, thanks to this in combination with a spoke tension meter. This is perfect for detail oriented minds.
👤I have owned a bikehand stand for four years. I have built my own bicycle wheels since the 70's. I used to own an old-school Park stand. After 40 years, it finally wore out. Not bad for a $20 purchase. There is a The bikehand stand needs constant recalibration. The spring tension on the calipers changes with age. I built a tool to make the bikehand stand work better. The Bikehand springs are made from cheap Chinese spring steel, and their rebound rate weakens rapidly. There is a When I bought this stand, I wondered why there were so many adjustments. It's junk and simple. Don't buy this stand! It is necessary to repeat. Don't but this bikehand stand! I am going to recycle my bikehand stand and buy a good park truing stand. Why? I was foolish to buy a bike tool that wasn't made by Park. There is a I don't work for Park Tools. I am a teacher with advanced skills in bicycle repair. Since before you were born... Bikehand Truing stands are not worth the money.
👤I did not get a nickel plated stand. It is black and white. It was literally. I'm giving it 5 stars because it deserves it. I've always used the blue brand, so I'm used to quality. I had to try it because everyone kept comparing it to the blue brand. I can tell you that this is a quality stand because of its construction and the weight of the stand. It is a lifer. I will probably keep it. If you want the one in the pics, you might want to verify that with the seller. This came with 3 spoke wrench as well. That definitely caught me off guard. I'm very impressed.

👤I ordered training wheels for my son. I got this set as a last minute option because the first set had an issue with delivery. I noticed that the metal brackets that locked the training wheels from rocking weren't compatible with the vertical support channel of the training wheel frame. I thought it was supposed to be a snug fit and they would press together. I was wrong. There was not enough of the axle to thread the nut onto the frame because the brackets did not fit into the channel. I had trouble getting these in place for Christmas morning. I have to tell my son that he can't ride his new bike on Christmas because the elves missed some pieces. I will be returning these in hopes that someone will not ruin a gift for a child.
👤A 6 year old is riding on the metal.
👤I don't have to guess how these are put together. Add instructions. Returned.
👤These have been misleading. The first time my 5 year old tried to use them, one of the brackets bent. Only one wheel is on. The bell that was included doesn't work.
👤I put them on the electric bike because my daughter was excited to see the light up.
👤100% satisfied with the product. My daughter got them for her bike. They keep her safe.
👤There's no instructions included, you have to look on the Amazon listing for installation steps, which aren't great. The bigger problem is that the training wheel frames don't fit on the bike axel. It was very frustrating. I don't know how long they will stay. I would have liked to read the reviews before buying.
👤It is nice and sturdy. The wheels roll and the lights are beautiful. You can still use it when you upgrade your baby's bike to a bigger one, because it's been adjusted to different heights.
The 650 x 45c urban tires are fast rolling. Schwinn alloy cranks, pedals, and wheels are lightweight. The steel tandem frame is sturdy and comfortable for you and your partner. Quick, precise gear changes are provided by 21-speed microshifters. The smooth ride is provided by the lightweight and durable alloy wheels. The front rider handlebars have linear pull brakes. The crank is for wide gear range.
👤I have a disease that makes it impossible for me to ride a bike. So my husband. I bought this for our family to go on family bike rides and it was our best purchase on Amazon. For most people a tandom bike is just for fun. For me, this is freedom to do what I love. It was easy for him to assemble and it was sturdy.
👤There is a long review. This tandem is not a $3000+ Co-Motion. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as a bike like that. It doesn't. Not in the same league. My rating of 4 stars is not on the same scale as the machine that I am rating. It's just plain fun to ride, so this is more based on the value to us. There is a This is a great way to get into tandem riding for the money. We are loving it. It was the cheapest way to tandem ride with my kids. I didn't want to spend thousands and find we hated riding a tandem. I was looking for a used quality tandem in my area but couldn't find one. I thought for $300. I couldn't go wrong. I'm 5 feet 8 inches tall and 170 lbs as captain. My kids are 10 and 9 years old. 52 inches is the shortest. He just fits the stoker with the seat all the way down and his leg has a slight bend at the bottom of the pedal stroke. The fit for the crank arms is affected by their length. It works well for what we are doing. If you are a taller person as a stoker, the bars would be too low with someone you know as captain, as even my 10 year old commented they felt low. I have them up as high as they can be under my saddle, but with a taller captain they could go higher. The stoker bars seem low and wide to me, but I haven't actually ridden them as a stoker. It seems like it would be a bit cramped if it was sitting on it. There is a It was packaged well and arrived in a large box. It was very easy to assemble. The front wheel, seat posts and saddles were the only things I needed to attach. The components seem to be okay for this level of bike. They are cheap, but everything is sturdy. The bike has pedals. Not light. Nothing unexpected was out of whack, except for two things. I replaced the saddles after our first few rides. Most people have their own prefs on saddles. The grips are very harsh and will be replaced soon. The tires seem to be durable after about 200 miles. Will replace as soon as possible. I removed the tires and inspected them for metal, but found nothing. The front and rear derailers were adjusted out of the box. It took about 50 miles of riding and shifting to'settle'. I can only assume the cheap cables stretch more than they would normally, and I have only needed to make minor adjustments to keep it all shifting well. The front and rear are 7 speed twist shifters. The brakes stop the bike well. The pads are cheap and almost worn out, so good pads will make things better. Getting the brakes centered and keeping them that way has been the most frustrating thing so far, but they seem to have settled in recently. The bearings and chains were well cared for. I only had a couple of issues on assembly that may or may not have been flukes, but they are the reasons for knocking a star off. There is a The lock ring on the captain's cup was loose upon arrival. I checked the bearing load and tightened the lock ring to ride. After a couple of miles, theBB noticed that it had some play in it and re- loaded it and tightened it. After a few more miles, the same thing happened. Same result, adjust, repeat. What the hell? I'm not a mechanic. I have never had that happen. I got angry and tightened the lock nut and then removed it. There were only 2 threads from the cone that were exposed for the lock ring to bite onto. I tried to see if that could have been prevented, but there wasn't any way. It may or may not have been a one-off issue, but my issue was not taken care of by fiddling. It was not the right part for the job. There is an issue with the frontBB that is worth a close inspection. I replaced that BB with a sealed UN55, which took care of that. If you're considering this bike, be aware. I had to spend that extra $20. The bike has a weird eccentric in the captain'sBB so that's a bonus over having an ugly idler gear. There is a I'm pretty sure the second issue was a mistake. The front wheel arrived well out of true and I noticed one of the spokes was bent in the middle. I don't know how this happened as there was no damage on the box and everything seemed well packaged, it must have happened in the shipping area. It's not clear what it would have been. I trued the wheel after I straightened it. The rear wheel had the smallest wobble in it that was easily corrected with a couple of quarter turns. There is a The experience has been great. It feels like driving a truck. A truck that is predictable and stable. I was surprised by the brakes, they are pretty good. We did a medium-long decent the other day and they didn't seem to fade too bad. It seems like it's useful. It's nice to have a very low 1st cog on the cassette, and that's great for climbing steep grades. It's low geared for me and my older son. We've spun out on very slight downhills or with tail-winds. That happened at 27 mph. The too long for kids cranks aren't helping. We could use a bigger chain ring, but it seems like the middle ring is not worth it on a bike this level. We can fly on downhills and flats on a heavy bike. My child is 10 years old. I took a 26 mile ride on a paved rail trail and averaged 17 mph and neither of us was working hard. I felt like I was doing 14 mph on my road bike, but my heart rate was only in the 130's. He never sweated. It was very impressive to me. I am looking forward to seeing what we can do with better rolling tires. We haven't taken it on dirt trails yet. We rode a small sample of the trail. We don't plan to do trails much if we don't get any slicks. I like the ride. My kids say it's okay. It's odd to feel the frame flex as much as it does on hard efforts though I'm sure that contributes to comfort. We get a lot of looks and thumbs-ups from other kids when we're riding along. There is a Will I change? I would change the tires for longer rides. The saddles had to go. Next are the grips. I had to make a change. The stoker's gun is fine. I don't think I would invest in changing anything else. Our investment is up to $330, which includes a tax and a replacementBB. It might be possible to endure the original saddles if you're just goofing around the block or very short rides. This bike is not worth a lot of work. I don't think so. We might consider a real tandem next year if we continue to enjoy this bike through the summer. We'll still have this one if we don't. This bike will serve it's purpose in one way or the other, without breaking the bank. This won't be the bike for you if you're serious about tandems. This bike taught us that tandem riding is fun. I would buy it again for this purpose. 7/12/17 I raised the captain's seat to get it to my ideal seat height, but it's over the recommended line on the seat post. I'm only 5' 8 inches tall, so a taller captain will likely need a longer seat post than the stock one. 5/16/18 We're still having fun! I made the grips and tires easier to roll. Cheap grips are available from Amazon. The Schwalbe Marathon Supreme 26 x 1.60 is 450g per tire, while the stock 26 x 1.95 is 850g per tire. This difference along with their huge difference in rolling resistance completely changed the way this bike handles and flies down the road. The tires were relatively expensive but they outclass the bike and are worth it. The original brake pads wore out a long time ago. I would recommend doing that even before the originals wear out. There is a It's still fun, we still have and ride this rig. We still ride our 700c bikes even though the kids are older and prefer to ride on their own. They will probably get rid of it in a year or so as their interest fades in riding with their old man. Neither seems eager to lead. If you are looking to try tandem riding, this bike is a great candidate. It has held up to 900 miles ridden by us, mostly paved with some very smooth gravel rail trails. Since I replaced the tires on the bike, I have not had to do anything else. The tires are awesome. The stoker bars are very low for the kids as their seat gets raised a bit every time we ride it, and the bars can't be raised without replacing the stem. I should have cut the stoker bars down, they're a bit too wide for kids. I would buy it again if I were in the same situation I was in in 2017: trying out a tandem and not spending a lot. It's still a good deal.

👤It's a cute bike, but the quality is not what I paid for.
👤For Christmas, we got this for our 3 year old. The bike is sturdy and adorable. Our daughter is very tall and the bike fits perfectly. Our daughter is obsessed with this bike. She gives her dolls rides all day. I contacted Joystar because the basket wasn't included in the box. They immediately sent a new basket and helmet for free. The basket and helmet were delivered a week ago. This bike and company is recommended by us.
👤The bike is great for beginners. We have had two other bikes that she couldn't stay on. She rode her bike to the street without needing an extra push.
👤When this arrived, I was really happy. It was well packaged. Our granddaughter fell in love with it after it was put together. Great price and product.
👤I love the bike. My granddaughter loves her bike so much that she has a seat in the back for her Stuff Monkey.
👤The bike was easy to assemble, but still had to adjust the brakes, but it was still too big for my 2 year old. She will be ready for it in the spring.
👤The seat is made of leather and has a color. It's ugly!
👤This bike is adorable. My 4 year old was happy. The baby doll seat on the back is the icing on the cake, and it looks like a fancy big girl bike.
👤Mi sobrina le encanto, la recom bastante, est sper.
The handlebar has a slight-rise that allows upright riding to minimize back and shoulder strain, the 3-piece crank has responsive feel, Kraton grips are comfortable to the touch, and the kickstand is included. The steel-framed mountain bike with all-terrain knobby tires is a great way to conquer any off-road trail. The threadless headset has an adjustment for riders of different heights, and the strong, lightweight alloy rims keep the weight down. Ride with beach cruiser pedals and make sure you are safe. The hills are easier to climb with a rear derailleur with seven speeds. The bike is ready to be assembled. The size is for adult riders who are 5' 6 to 6' tall.
👤I was very excited to get this bike. I used to do this for Trek. It wasn't my first rodeo, and I took off down my street for the maiden voyage. Within 800 feet of my driveway, the cheap plastic chain guard, prowheel brand, shattered into six pieces, cut my legs, and I went end over end. The bike feels great, but it is made of plastic. Don't buy if you're warned. There was an update on 8-19-18. Amazon sent me the same bike and I got back my money. The front disc brake was crumple like paper as I applied light pressure to it, relying on the rear to slow down on a gentle curve. I went into some bushes. The front fork was twisted. I would show that as well. I stripped the bike and made it 888-282-0465. It's going back to Amazon. You should be ashamed of yourselves for selling cheap bikes under a once noble name, and for having no customer support. I have the ability to influence anyone for the rest of my life.
👤I'm trying to get healthy again and the idea of being locked away in the gym on stationary machines sounded very unattractive. The idea of an outdoor bike came to mind. I was very worried that I wouldn't find a bike that could hold the mount. I was afraid that I would look like a man on a bike. The Dolomite Fat Tire Mountain Bike has made me less afraid. The fat tires bring some balance to my watermelon like shape while on it, as well as holding my robust body. I recommend this bike to anyone who wants to get healthy again.
👤I bought this bike a year ago and have been using it as a trail bike. This bike is a good candidate for the theory of gradually upgrading a bike for people who are curious about fat bikes. The bones of the frame, wheels, tubes, tires and seat have stood up to regular use on rocky trails and steep fire roads. I treated this bike to a brand new Kenda Juggernaut rear tire because I like it so much. I was happy to upgrade parts from my spare parts bin because most of the stock components were not my liking. Not everyone has one of these. I pulled some better gear from my spare parts bin because I wanted to use it for more than cruising on sand, and everything worked when I got it. When I bring my bike for a group ride, my regular mountain biking friends occasionally trade me for a portion of our ride and have been pleasantly surprised that the bike geometry is actually comfortable and the bike doesn't feel as slow as it looks. I configured mine to run a 26 tooth chain ring in the front and a 14-34T Freewheel in the back, which provided more reasonable gear for climbing. Hope this helps someone make a purchase.
👤I read reviews and researched on fat tire bikes before buying 2 of them for myself and my wife. Positive and negative reviews on Amazon were both accurate, I would say. My wife's bike arrived and was put together nicely, she went on the beach. My bike was not the only story. The box was falling apart and there was plastic on the bottom of it. I put it together. I am not using the front disc brake because it is broken. It's inconvenient that the chain slips off the back sprockets. I received a PDF with instructions on making adjustments, and was told if that didn't work I could return it to Amazon. Both are not good options. I don't know how to package it up and send it back. By looking at my wife's bike, it's possible that all goes well, because it's a nice bike at a nice price. Is my bike? I'm not sure what to do. I will have to try to fix it.
If you see that the product is faulty, please do not return it. Please contact my store customer service as soon as possible, they will send you the missing accessories. The front hub kit is 36v. The electric bike conversion kit has everything you need to convert an electric bike. The Mountain Electric Bicycle front Wheel has a 100mm dropout and includes a Motor Controller, controller box, pedal assist crank sensor, and one pair of brake handles. The battery is not included.
👤I put the hub on the rim that matches the rear rim of my bike. The rim on my bike is larger than the one that comes with it. I installed the hub, controller and battery myself after ordering new spokes. I used a 36V battery. I didn't install everything in the package because I didn't want the bike to look like an electric bike. I only installed the screen and throttle. I have less wires on my bike. The motor makes a weird sound when I start, but it goes away when I get moving, I'm not sure what the sound is, being that I just finished and only rode it once. It was very easy to build a new wheel with the electric hub. I feel bad for people. People have a hard time doing things. If you can't install a screen protectors on your phone, you won't be able to convert your bike into an E-bike.
👤The conversion kit was delivered 2 days earlier than I expected. That part was good. I have no complaints about the components so far. Don't expect much help with the instructions. I tried the setup before mounting the components. I connected the wiring to the bike after mounting the display, brake levers, throttle and other items. It won't work now. The display is showing an error that means motor failure. The setup was redid with the "learn" wires connected. It seemed to work again at that point. After getting out of setup, I tried again, but nothing. Kunray says there is a video about the installation on Youtube. I can't find a video like that. It doesn't work so far. I'm going to contact the vendor to get more information on the instructions. There is more to come. On the day I wrote the review, I sent 3 emails to the vendor, but they have not responded. I made more attempts to get the system to work. The motor will work at the 5 levels of pedal assist if I leave the learning wires connected. The motor stops working when the brakes are applied, the pedal sensor is not functioning, and the throttle is not working. The controller is bad. There is a The motor is very weak. The maximum speed achieved at the level 5 pedal assist is 10.4 mph, with no load, if you lift the rear wheel with the bike stationary and turn on the motor. I will not purchase from this vendor again.
👤The instructions are not usable. I got my kit working after some trial and error. I would recommend this build. My build is on a TREK mtb. The 48v 13ah battery has no issues. The range is 30 miles per charge and the average speed is 20mph. Nice! Good idea to have some experience in this field. I wouldn't recommend this for a first time build.
👤I've taken it out on the road about 6 times so far and I'm happy with it. It wasn't given instructions and had to watch a video that was vague in some areas, but eventually got it figured out and worked on my bike. 2. The digital controller went blank when I took it for my longest ride because the battery had 30% left. I disconnected the battery and the controller blanked for about 1/2 mile. I don't know why. Good news 1. I was able to go up to 28 miles an hour. 2. It was quite a few. It does not restrain peddling without it. I'm happy with it so far, except for #2 which I have to figure out why it shut down.

👤I wanted to try mountain biking. At my age, maybe I should be playing golf or putting airplane models together. My midlife crisis has changed. There is a I thought this bike would be a good entry level bike for me to ride and see if I like the sport. I had ridden a few times a week for about four months. I had a good record of no falls or near death experiences, I was enjoying the sport, and I found some friends to ride with. The freewheel decided to give up. I was riding with my friends on a moderate 12 mile trail with some decent climbs, a few rock gardens, and great scenery. The freewheel was locked up with three miles to go. A freewheel disengages from the drive while you coast, as you know. Instead of being disconnected, it remained engaged and pushed the chain forward, either onto a different gear or off the gears. I had a gear lottery when I stopped pedaling. I was going too fast down the hill. I had to continue to pedal or lose the lottery. I was applying the brakes and pedaling at the same time. There was a sharp turn when I got to the bottom of the hill. I was in trouble because I was going too fast. I hit the brakes when I stopped pedaling. The chain was pushed off the gears. I needed some power to maneuver through the sand on the corner. I lost control of the bike when the chain came off as I pushed on the pedals. I came to a stop after sliding for a few feet. I had a nice rash on my body. It hurt. It hurt very badly. I had two miles to go. I tried to keep the pedals moving, but it was too late. I kept sliding off the handlebars because of the blood flowing over the grips. I made it to the end of the trail and spent two weeks nursing my wounds. There is a Thanks, Schwinn. I had to spend money on a tool to remove the freewheel, a new freewheel and spacers, and a lemon of a freewheel to replace it, all because the original was too tight. I spent a lot on bandages. I contacted Schwinn to see if the limited warranty would cover a new freewheel. They said it would be some time before they could get to my email. That was a few weeks ago. I'm still waiting. I know you pay for what you get. This is not a top of the line mountain bike. A freewheel should last more than four months. It didn't. I've paid a heavy price. The bike is made for slow rides around the neighborhood. I took some of the stars off for my pain and suffering and the false representation of it being a mountain bike. I'll try it out with the upgraded freewheel for a few weeks and see if it works out. At my age, I will brush with superheroes and my own mortality. One way or another, I may be done.
It's not suitable for those with semi-horizontal or vertical dropouts on single-speed bikes from 12 to 20 inches. 12 / 14 / 16 / 18 / 20 : : 24
👤My disabled son rides a 20in wheel bike like crazy and he is 98 lbs.
👤These are cool. It is very sturdy and tall. My son is 6 years old and is very tall. He doesn't want to learn to ride a bike. He was confident to start riding with training wheels. You can see what side the rider is leaning on, the wheels light up. These are a good price for a high quality product. Don't spend your money on cheap ones. This is one of the things that is worth the extra few dollars. Highly recommended.
👤My daughter is a bike rider. We needed to upgrade the training wheels that came with her bike because she is 60 lbs. They said they could support up to 100 lbs. My daughter's favorite color is purple, and these are purple, but they never lit up. My daughter was injured when one of the wheels game off. She will need to learn to ride a bike without training wheels in order to do so.
👤Quiet! My daughters loud old wheels were replaced with these. So far, so quiet. It was a bit of a pain to install. The bike was non-useable because the tops were too tall for a 16” bike, and I had rammed it into the chain area. They work with any size, but didn't expect to have to slice and dice them to use them.
👤The pack seemed to be leaking oil when I opened it and the middle part had to be pushed in more in order for the wheels to light up at speed. It was already off to a bad start. The installation was simple as I watched my son's dad put it together and he was excited to try it out because he had just got a new bike with these training wheels. The right training wheel kept bending as we took his new bike and wheels out for a spin. They did not last one day. We used these training wheels on a 20 inch but unfortunately it kept bending and the lights didn't work properly due to the middle piece not being centered so we had to use a wrench to hammer it in place to make the wheels light up so I'm currently looking for a more sturdy What a sad day. Happy holidays!
👤My son was really excited to see that the training wheels lit up. The positive part of this ends there. I tried these on two different bikes and they didn't work for either of them. They are too high in one slot, which makes the bike feel like it's falling over, or they're too low, which makes it an exercise bike that goes nowhere. They were easy to install, but the geometry is off for a 16" bike. You should find a different option if your kid rides that size.
👤The training wheels seem well built. Had to get a longer bike axle. The training wheel design was not to blame for that. It runs smooth. The adjustment space on the bike could have been used a bit more. They work well. I would recommend them.
The ride is smooth because of the light, strong alloy rims and oversized tires. The speed freewheel is on the Hub.
👤It served my needs, but there was one small problem. I live at a homeless shelter in Fort Worth, and there are many people who are crazy. I received the wheel in a good time, and had all the necessary tools in a spot behind some warehouses by some railroad tracks to minimize the chance of a human contact. The primary goal of replacing old wheel was to avoid long weird conversations. The process should have taken less than 10 minutes. I reinstalled it after I transferred everything from old wheel to new one, including tire, inner-tube freewheel, and even inflating it to the correct pressure. There was a constant fear that there was a crazy person about a hundred meters away that might notice me. I was eager to have a back wheel with smooth cones and bearings that would allow me to use my rear brakes again. I put all my tools up. The crazy mumbler was no longer there after I collected all the garbage and strewn out odds and ends. I felt a horrible grinding as I excitedly began to pedal off, pleased with my readiness, efficiency and organization. Two people 50 meters away from me were talking and looking at me. Fear gripped me after my excitement turned to frustration. I didn't have cone wrench because the shelter had taken the spacers off the axle. During the peak of frustration in the July Texas heat, one of the warehouse guys talked to me in a weird way about why I wasn't in the shade. I got it resolved and pedalled off. The wheel is very good, except that it is warped from my attempt to move the hub over by adjusting the spoke nuts, which made it hard for me to concentrate.
👤These look sturdy. I bought a matching set and am restoring it for my grandson. The packaging was done well and the finish is nice. They are not quite ready to go out of the box. The bearings were adjusted so tight that they could not turn. I have done it many times before and they were easy to remove, grease and adjust. The rim is not excessive. I've seen worse and could probably be used as is. I took the time to true them because I am a bit of a perfectionist. Again, not difficult or time consuming, but just another thing that needed to be done with brand new rims. I suppose the cost would have been higher if the manufacturer had done better things. I am happy with them and would buy them again. There were no major complaints.
👤The wheel was very badly trued. I had to have it fixed before I could use it because it was wobbly. The seller wouldn't accept video proof only photos which didn't show how bad it was. Spend money somewhere else.
👤This thing broke after 20 miles.
👤This was used to fix a cheap mountain bike. The tire, liner, and tube were all bought at the same time, but setting the wheel bearing preload took forever. I replaced the freewheel cassette because it was not coming off. I notice the cassette is moving side to side when I spin the wheel, it isn't cross threaded. Don't know if the cassette is on or not. I can live with it. I'm good to go with few more odds and ends. Will update if there are any surprises.
The bike has a limited lifetime warranty. The wheel diameter is 13 cm/ 5.12 inch and the width is 3 cm. It's suitable for children's bicycles of 12'' 16'' 18'', but not for certain models of HUFFY bicycles. The package has 1 bell and 1 wrench. Anti-slip, Wear-resistant Materials and Heavy Duty - high-quality steel. The necessary safety and stability are provided by these heavy rear wheels. It's a great package for your child's first bike lesson. A bicycle training wheel can help children with more courage when they are on the road, and it can be an important part of their growth. 👤The ones that came with the bike were better than the ones that have been working so far. The wheels are on the ground. It's easy to install, but make sure you have a plastic cover over the chain. I had to cut into it to get the bar to flush. It was worth it.
👤We bought training wheels for our son who wants to ride a 20 inch bike but is not quite ready to balance on his own. These are perfect for him. The training wheels were sturdy enough for him to learn that he shouldn't rely on them all the time and that he needs to learn to balance. A good purchase. It was well packaged and arrived quickly.
👤This wasn't easy to install but once we got it on, we thought it was ok. My daughter is still not comfortable riding without training wheels, so we purchased a 20inch for her. She took off with all of her confidence and ended up on the floor because the training wheels fell apart, they were tight and secure, but they completely bent and fell apart. There is a This didn't work for us. There is a If you have a 20 inch bike, I would not recommend it. It's not secure for bigger bikes. Good luck.
👤I have worked on an 18 in and 20 in bike. I think someone mentioned ants in the package, but it stinks to be sprayed. Wear gloves when installing and wash your hand outside. I don't mind them making sure no ants are present. I would have liked a description of what the scurvy was like. The chemicals would be the only thing that would be 5 stars.
👤You need tools for this. The wrench they sent was useless because it didn't fit the bolt they supplied. They are long, which is good and bad. They stuck up about four or five inches for my 3 year old bike, which is a smaller bike. I ended up cutting them to size. I'll need to buy a new set when he grows out of his bike. There is a Again, they are ok, but not great.
👤There is no way to bolt the units onto the bike because of the thickness of the channel. I have access to metal cutting tools that I had to cut down and modify to fit in my welder. They are not as sturdy as with modifications, but only way to install them. Hopefully they won't be needed long. These will work if you have an inch of thread past the nut.
👤So far, it's pretty good. My son is 6 years old and he has a bike. He fit his bike perfectly. The instructions are easy to follow. The nuts are on the back wheel. We had to get the nuts to catch the threads by cutting the back frame closer together.
👤These didn't fit our bike. If they reversed the U channel it would have worked, but the bolts on our bike were too short. I had him practice gliding with the seat down after taking the pedals off. I showed him how to ride after steering became automatic. He picked it up without training wheels.
