👤I used to work in a bike shop that sold low-mid price bicycles. I spent a lot of time fixing them. Lower-end bikes had a lot of issues. After reading reviews, I decided to get a Royal Baby for my son. When it arrived, I gave it my usual thorough review. The parts seemed to be of good quality. The finish was perfect. The bicycle had the same things as any other bicycle: pedals, handlebars, seat, accessories. The parts were perfect on the first try. No fighting, no twisting and pulling. It comes with cheap tools to help with assembly, so you don't have to worry about finding a pedal wrench or the right size metric allen. I began to look at the mechanics. The tires were very sturdy. It was normal for bikes in the $100-150 range to have no noticeable wobble. The brakes were adjusted. They had the perfect amount of pull and were centered on the rim. There is a It seems like a quality bike for the price and I am happy with the purchase.

👤I bought two of them. My daughter will be turning 5 next week and I wanted to give her a pink bike. I did not take her measurements, but she is a size 6 in tops and pants. The bike is big for her and she can't handle it without the training wheels. I would have bought her a size down to start off with if I had known what I know now. She can ride this with the training wheels, but we will keep her smaller bike until she is used to it. There is a My 7 1/2 year old son is a size 7 for comparison, but I did not have any measurements for the 18 inch blue bike. The bike is just right for growing. It would have been too large for him. I think this is a great bike. I like the look of it and it is sturdy. We live on a farm, so no sidewalks, and the pink is still feminine, but has black tires, not the white tires that most little girls bikes have. There is dirt, gravel and grass to ride on. The bikes ride well on rough terrain. There is a The bikes came with a water bottle. There is a The white seat on the bike looks like a hand grip in the back. The black seat on the bike is similar to a normal bike seat. The kids have not mentioned that they dislike their seats. My daughter is still getting used to using the brake on her bike, but it is a nice feature. I would suggest getting the hang of that before you go down a hill. The assembly was easy. It took 15 minutes per bike to get everything ready. One bike had the tires ready to go and the other had to have the tires inflated. There is a I am very pleased with the purchase of these bikes, they have been great so far.

2. Schwinn Featuring Retro Styled Step Over Drivetrain

Schwinn Featuring Retro Styled Step Over Drivetrain

The Schwinn steel retro city frame and fork is comfortable. Quick gear changes are provided by the Schwinn 7 speed twist shifter. The front and rear linear pull brakes are made of alloy. The classic rear carrier provides convenient storage. The 700c size wheel is for adult riders. The bike has a limited lifetime warranty.

Brand: Schwinn

👤I would give this bike 0 stars. The bike was assembled according to instructions. We also bought a bike rack for our car for $70. The rear derailleur tore off the bike on my first ride. The bike came to a stop. I had a broken bike and was 5 miles from my car. The bike shop told me that it will cost the same to fix it as it did when I paid for it. I have a useless bike and bike rack. Very disappointed! I would like a reply from either Amazon or Schwinn.

👤I took the bike for a ride around the neighborhood after assembling it. This bike exceeded my expectations in many respects. I have owned dozens of bikes over the years and this is the ninth bicycle in my current stable and the least expensive. Two of my bikes cost over $3k. I have been a bike nerd my entire life and worked as a bike mechanic in younger years. I feel like I have a good perspective on bicycle quality. I was attracted to the bike's value and traditional styling, and I was not disappointed. There is a The bike is a steel frame, seven speed bicycle with an upright riding position. It has no name components. Cost-saving parts include an Ashtabula crank and chainring, a steel seatpost and seat clamp, and steel handlebars. The generic brake levers, rim, hubs, and linear- pull brakes are made of aluminum. I haven't confirmed, but the derailleur appears to be stamped steel. The included rack is chromed steel. The aluminum and steel brackets look like they are brushed. The bike does not feel heavy despite the heavy steel components. The frame is made of steel and welded with standard diameter tubing. It has a nice looking paint job and there is some pinstriping on the top tube. The front wheel has a quick release. There is a To me, the hybrid bicycle seems to be a classic English touring bike with a coil spring seat and swept-back handlebars. The seven speed gear is adequate for flat to moderately hilly terrain. Don't expect mountain bike gears. The freewheel is 14-28 teeth and is adequate for casual cycling on paved roads or trails. I did not count the chainring teeth. The frame's more modern origins are reflected in the slightly sloping top tube. The layout and ride is very similar to English touring bikes of the 1960's and 70's, with some alloy updates. There is a The bike was easy to assemble, but there were a few adjustments that might be difficult to understand for someone with no experience. The bearings on the bottom brackets were too tight, the headset was loose, and the front wheel needed some adjustments. The hubs and gears on my unit did not need to be adjusted out of the box. If you don't have experience assembling bikes, I recommend paying a professional to do it for you. The brakes are not as strong as they could be, but once adjusted they were easy to lock up the rear wheel and stop the bike. The brakes are above average in this price range. The grip-shift, seven-speed gear was quiet and crisp. The bike has a smooth, quiet ride once it is assembled. The riding position is very upright. If you are not expecting a racing position, there is not a lot of space between the seat and handlebars. The bike encourages one to take their time and look around. It feels efficient and secure, but notimble. I think this would make a great bike for a college campus, paved trails, and urban commute. I've seen people ride all kinds of bikes on all sorts of surfaces. I'm 6' 0 The person is tall and weighs 195 pounds. The bike was very comfortable for me, and I have it in the middle of its height adjustment range. I think the bike would be suitable for people with a height of between 5'9" and 6'2". The bike should last many years because of the reasonable protection from the weather and regular maintenance.

3. Mongoose Dolomite Featuring High Tensile Drivetrain

Mongoose Dolomite Featuring High Tensile Drivetrain

The bike has a limited lifetime warranty. The steel-framed mountain bike with all-terrain knobby tires is a great way to conquer any off-road trail. The threadless headset has an adjustment for riders of different heights, and the strong, lightweight alloy rims keep the weight down. Ride with beach cruiser pedals and make sure you are safe. The hills are easier to climb with a rear derailleur with seven speeds. The bike is ready to be assembled. The size is for adult riders who are 5' 6 to 6' tall.

Brand: Mongoose

👤I was very excited to get this bike. I used to do this for Trek. It wasn't my first rodeo, and I took off down my street for the maiden voyage. Within 800 feet of my driveway, the cheap plastic chain guard, prowheel brand, shattered into six pieces, cut my legs, and I went end over end. The bike feels great, but it is made of plastic. Don't buy if you're warned. There was an update on 8-19-18. Amazon sent me the same bike and I got back my money. The front disc brake was crumple like paper as I applied light pressure to it, relying on the rear to slow down on a gentle curve. I went into some bushes. The front fork was twisted. I would show that as well. I stripped the bike and made it 888-282-0465. It's going back to Amazon. You should be ashamed of yourselves for selling cheap bikes under a once noble name, and for having no customer support. I have the ability to influence anyone for the rest of my life.

👤I'm trying to get healthy again and the idea of being locked away in the gym on stationary machines sounded very unattractive. The idea of an outdoor bike came to mind. I was very worried that I wouldn't find a bike that could hold the mount. I was afraid that I would look like a man on a bike. The Dolomite Fat Tire Mountain Bike has made me less afraid. The fat tires bring some balance to my watermelon like shape while on it, as well as holding my robust body. I recommend this bike to anyone who wants to get healthy again.

👤I bought this bike a year ago and have been using it as a trail bike. This bike is a good candidate for the theory of gradually upgrading a bike for people who are curious about fat bikes. The bones of the frame, wheels, tubes, tires and seat have stood up to regular use on rocky trails and steep fire roads. I treated this bike to a brand new Kenda Juggernaut rear tire because I like it so much. I was happy to upgrade parts from my spare parts bin because most of the stock components were not my liking. Not everyone has one of these. I pulled some better gear from my spare parts bin because I wanted to use it for more than cruising on sand, and everything worked when I got it. When I bring my bike for a group ride, my regular mountain biking friends occasionally trade me for a portion of our ride and have been pleasantly surprised that the bike geometry is actually comfortable and the bike doesn't feel as slow as it looks. I configured mine to run a 26 tooth chain ring in the front and a 14-34T Freewheel in the back, which provided more reasonable gear for climbing. Hope this helps someone make a purchase.

👤I read reviews and researched on fat tire bikes before buying 2 of them for myself and my wife. Positive and negative reviews on Amazon were both accurate, I would say. My wife's bike arrived and was put together nicely, she went on the beach. My bike was not the only story. The box was falling apart and there was plastic on the bottom of it. I put it together. I am not using the front disc brake because it is broken. It's inconvenient that the chain slips off the back sprockets. I received a PDF with instructions on making adjustments, and was told if that didn't work I could return it to Amazon. Both are not good options. I don't know how to package it up and send it back. By looking at my wife's bike, it's possible that all goes well, because it's a nice bike at a nice price. Is my bike? I'm not sure what to do. I will have to try to fix it.

4. UnYOUsual Transformer Folding Bicycle Mudguard

Brand: Ids Home

👤After riding for 3 weeks, the pedal breaks off, I tried to re-build it, but the thread was damaged and I couldn't screw it back. There is a I was able to find people with the same problem, and it looks like this is a common problem. I was upset with the product but more upset with how Amazon handles the service. I threw the original box away because it was fine for the first 3 weeks. I spoke with an agent and they told me I don't need a box. I can bring the bike with me and they will package it. There is a I was told I needed to pay $100 for the box when I visited UPT. I talked to an agent from Amazon. I was made to wait 40 minutes for customer service, but they came back and said they were investigating. I was put on the phone call for another 20 minutes. After an hour. They said I needed a box to open it. This is not good customer service getting back and saying I actually needed a box after an hour. There is a I can't believe Amazon is holding me responsible for the box which costs $100 because it is a bad product. There is a If you purchase this product, be careful of the common defect on the pedal and keep that big box, otherwise you will not be eligible for any service.

👤I am six feet tall with bad knees and pinched nerves in the back, and I have been getting annoyed with the one I have, so I gave this a try. The seat and handle bars fit my body perfectly, and I upgraded the seat all the way up to an inch beyond the maximum height. To assemble the bike, I had to remove the safety ties, close the folding latches, and put air in the tires. No tools needed! The black ring of plastic by the handle bar folder is the lock, if you don't expect it, the bars will fold. The seat bar has a thumb screw on one side, be sure to tighten it a few times before using the lever to lock the position. I put the seat post into a piece of 1 1/4 pvc pipe that is about an inch shorter than the height I normally like, in case I forget to tighten the seat clamp screw. I don't understand why everyone is having problems with the pedals, worked fine for me, but I do know that one pedal will have a reverse thread on it, so be sure to screw the correct one in, on each side, don't force it. I haven't had a problem with the folding joint on the body being used in regular use.

👤It's a good bike. I had to put the pedals, bell, and reflector on the handlebars. It's easy to set up. It's heavier than anticipated, but I can lift it and use it for a good arm workout. Since it's heavy, it takes me a while to store it in the closet. The more I do it, the more I get used to it. It's perfect for my height, and rides very well. The seat can go lower if I change my settings. I use it forbiking around the neighborhood and it has 6 gears. I'm not giving it a full 5 stars since I feel like it could be lighter and there's this noise when I turn the handlebars, which doesn't really make me feel like I'm riding the most quality bike, but hey, for $175 it's good.

5. JOYSTAR Bicycle Training Wheels Children

JOYSTAR Bicycle Training Wheels Children

5. There are more size options. There are 12,14,16,18,20 inches available. You can find a perfect size for your beloved with their easy-to- follow chart. The kids height should be taken into account. Design for kids. The bike has a training wheel. The quick release seat makes the height adjustment simpler. When the training wheel is off, it's a good idea to ride with a holder. The bike is simple to maintain and comes with a black tire. A do it yourself dart for safety. A child can make a unique bike with the decals by sticking their name on the frame or chain guard. There is a size chart for bikes for boys and girls of varying ages. The child's height may be different even at the same age.

Brand: Joystar

👤I can tell you that this bike will last a long time after we bought it for my son. I have only had the bike for 2 days, but it has a great feel to it and the components are well made. The manual is very confusing, which is the reason for 4 stars. You have to read through the general assembly booklet to understand what directions are meant for the bike you purchased. I had to wing it because I couldn't find directions for our model. It was still confusing, but not brain science. One of the pedals that are threaded by twisting left instead of right is something to be aware of. I thought it was a malfunctioning pedal. If you are having trouble threading, try twisting the opposite direction. This one is not always righty tight and lefty loose. All of them were very happy with this purchase.

👤We bought the bike in blue after reading reviews of similar bikes. The Joystar bike is unlike any bike in the neighborhood. It is a little heavy, but the materials are good. My son reports that the seat is comfortable, the brakes are not stiff, and it is easy to pedal. He has been riding it for a month and a half. If I remember correctly, he is happy to have a kickstand. I didn't assemble it, but my husband said it was issue-free. Some reviews mentioned difficult assembly, but that wasn't our experience. I would recommend it.

👤We are very happy with this bike and my son is now out of training wheels and riding it happily on two. The bike is sturdy. The tires are doing what they are supposed to. If the issues with assembly from my initial review are not a big deal to you, I would highly recommend it. It is worth it several years later. The package arrived in good shape but I encountered my first problem. The key provided wouldn't catch in the screws, so removing the screws that secured the handle bar was a challenge. It took about 10 minutes to turn the handles. Getting the stem attached to the frame was the next challenge. Many reviewers stated that the directions that came with the product were not helpful for this bike assembly. The picture on the page for the bike was helpful, but it didn't give clear instructions on how to secure the stem of the handle bars to the frame of the bike. I got the piece secured after about 20 minutes of trying. The bell that was supposed to come with the bike was not included in our package. Amazon can't request that piece be sent as it comes from a third party. I'm hoping I can find some information for the ToyStar company so I can get this piece for my son. There is a It is a nice looking bike and sturdy looking too, now that it is all assembled. The tires are strong. We will be taking the bike out for a test run tomorrow and I will revise my review to include how it goes. There is a There is a small scratch on the frame, but it is not a big deal for me.

6. Schwinn Comfort Bicycle 18 Inch Aluminum

Schwinn Comfort Bicycle 18 Inch Aluminum

The suspension fork is designed for versatile riding. The 700c wheel size is for riders who are 5'4” to 6'2” in height. The rear derailleur provides precise gear changes. V-brakes are made of alloy. The double wall rims are lightweight. There is plenty of grip on or off road with multi-use tires.

Brand: Schwinn

👤I rode the bike out for 2 days. The pedal broke off in traffic and it almost sent me under the bus. I had to clock less than 15 miles on this before it happened, and I rode it on mostly level ground. The pedal and pedal arms are both made of aluminum and are prone to wear. I almost ended up under the truck that I was riding next to. There is a Schwinn made a manufacturing change that could not cost more than $15. Casting or pressing the parts from steel can be done to prevent the pedals from coming loose. This change would have meant that they couldn't reuse the casting mold for the pedals and would need one for each pedal and this was the reason for the decision to reduce the life of the bike. The bike is not a good example of greed for revenue. This bike would have been a 5-star review. I can't recommend this bike to the worst of enemies because of the Greed for profit margin.

👤I have owned about 10 bikes over the years and am an experienced rider. The Schwinn LeTour Luxe was my first lightweight bike. I believe in about 1979. The Schwinn GTX2 was boxed better than average. The parts were present. After the assembly of the suspension fork/caliper, the front rotor was installed and runs true. I adjusted the cable to get 1/32 clearance. The flat bar assembly was standard installation. Both of the rims are close to trued. It was easy to modify the rear caliper/rotor. Both front and rear shifting was smooth and right on the money. The pedals and cranks are clearly marked. Everyone's experience is unique and I can't imagine PC putting the wrong size pedal post in there. I wouldn't change the seat because it's above average. The 30" measurement is accurate and does translate to "S" as advertised. The suspension fork makes the bar feel a little taller when the seat height is low. I don't like it that way. I set the seat at 6-7" and was happy with it. The seatpost is non-adjustable and the seat has an angle. There is a I did a dumb thing. I intended to surprise my wife when I bought the wrong size. Only "XS" hybrid are rare on Amazon. How about it Amazon, do better on selection?

👤There is a item called the GTX Elite. A male is 5'5" and 150 pounds. The bike is a good value. It took me about an hour to unbox and put together, just make sure you have a set of Allen wrench ready. It's important to inflate the tires to the proper pressure when you put it together. I thought I could use a small hand pump, but it made the first few rides a lot more difficult than they should have been by not inflating them to the correct psi. When I bought the Schwinn Air Center Plus, I found out that the tires were under 40 psi on my first few rides, and that they were up to 70 on my last ride. I'm probably not going to change the seat because it works just fine. If you're under 5'3 it might be a little big for you, but the 18inch frame is perfect for my size. I put about 50 miles on it so far and it takes me about 30 minutes to get from my house to work. The daily commute to work is a lot more fun with this bike.

7. Folding Bike Lightweight Aluminum Genuine Metallic

Folding Bike Lightweight Aluminum Genuine Metallic

There are inflatable tires on the front and rear. The lightweight frame is easy to carry and folds in seconds. The components are genuine and have 7 speeds. The stem is easy to fold. The frame can be securely held together with the help of the Resin Folding pedals, Wider Comfortable Saddle and Magnet Catcher. The folded size is H 27" L-31" W-12.5. The weight is 26 lbs (Lightweight). It is recommended for riders 16-75 years of age.

Brand: Zizzo

👤The folding bike seemed to be the perfect replacement for my 3G beach cruiser. I had no idea I could ride a folder. I did a demo ride on a Dahon at a local store and found it was the same as before. The Zizzo Via was the perfect bike for the money. My wife won't let me sleep with it.

👤I love this bike. It was very well built and was light and comfortable when I went on a few bike paths with my family. The folding is very easy if you do it once or twice. I highly recommend!

👤The bike is easy to set up and sturdy, however it is let down by cheap parts in the most crucial areas. Zizzo uses cheap parts in hidden areas to cut costs. The crank is clicking through its spins. It will fail in a few months and have to be replaced.

👤2 Schwinn Adapt U folding bikes were purchased. The Schwinn tech people were on the phone for 3 hours. They finally told me that there is a flaw. I wanted to send them more video and photos so they could study the issue. I had to re-box both bikes and drag the 40 lbs. out of the two huge boxes to get them into a car. There are boxes in the parking lot. After researching and buying 2 Zizzo Vias, I came back to Amazon. A great bike. Excellent instructions. It didn't take long to put it together or take it apart. Since then, I've gotten faster. We were surprised when we rode with my wife. Just did 7 miles yesterday and we both enjoyed it and have been surprised at how easy it is to ride a bike. It feels weird at first, but you get over it quickly and the bike handles great. Thank you, Zizzo!

👤I love this thing! I wanted to buy from a vendor I knew I could get parts from, and generic overseas brands were cheaper, but less reliable for parts, so I bought this over other competitors. I have a creek on my handlebars. I had to make adjustments to my brakes and derailer to get them to work properly. I love folding and thankful for the magnet latch. It's easy to load up into the back of my crosstrek. I got skyblue and my mom wants one as well. But in orange! I'm getting an orange one too.

👤The box was very sturdy. I watched a few Zizzo videos to unfold and refold the bike. Well built. Smooth shifting gears. The seat was comfortable. The seat and handle bars are for the whole family.

👤I love this bike. My mountain bike was too heavy for me to ride anymore, so I wanted something to carry with me. I keep it folded and strapped to the back of my driver's seat in my van, wherever I can find a good place to ride it. There is a It is easy to unfold. The only complaint I have is that the directions left out two steps, so I had to look at the folding instructions on the website. I have had no issues since then. This is high quality. I ordered a gel seat to make the riding a bit more comfortable, and I also bought two lights that were powered by the internet. I'm a happy camper now.

8. Huffy Hardtail Mountain 21 Speed Lightweight

Huffy Hardtail Mountain 21 Speed Lightweight

The 26" X 1.95" knobby tires tear into dirt bike paths with ease; linear pull hand brakes deliver consistent stopping action; premium padded ATB saddle has stitched sides for lasting quality; and the alloy quick release provides easy seat height adjustment. The handlebars have a slight rise to minimize back and shoulder strain, and the pedals have a responsive feel.

Brand: Huffy

👤I don't like writing bad reviews, I have a business and I understand when people want to rant about nonsense to get money back. That is not the reason I am here. I am here to save others from what I went through. I usually read reviews before I buy, but I didn't because I trusted the "Amazon's Choice" label. I thought I could go wrong. If I knew that the price would lead to me saying "you get what you pay for", I would have bought a nicer bike, which is what I will do now. There is a The bike is junk, it is sitting in a dump. It is garbage. I have ridden it at least 4 times. The handle bar comes loose every time I ride it, even though I have been trying to ride for about an hour to get a decent work out. I couldn't believe it when it came so loose the first time. Maybe I didn't tighten it enough. There is a Every time I ride, I have to tighten it as much as possible and it will come loose at the end of the hour. On my last ride, the left pedal is falling off, not only was the handlebar loose, but it was also my last ride. I am not doing bike stunts or tricks, I am not mountain biking on crazy trails. I ride my bike around Boston on easy trails that are not strenuous. I am a novice rider who is barely pushing the limits of the bike yet this piece of trash is falling apart right from under me as I ride it gently around bike trails in the city. It is a kind of joke. Don't waste your money. Get a real bike if you spend a little more. I will have to eat the loss since the return policy doesn't allow me to return it anymore. You will never get another dollar from me again because you stole the money.

👤I was skeptical when I bought this bike because of all the negative reviews. I check reviews and photos when buying online. There is a I know a lot about bikes, so I think huffy is a good brand. I have never put together a bike before but it seemed straight forward without the manual, I just don't care to read a manual. I was able to put the bike together in 1 hours without reading the manual or knowing how to assemble it. There is a It didn't fall apart on my ride with it, it was a first timer. There is a When I first took this bike for a ride, I immediately started playing with the gears to figure out what level I wanted the gears set at. There is a The tires that came with the bike seamed really comfy when I rode it, compared to others I have ridden recently. They wear hard as rocks. The bike seat was rather uncomfortable but I have a better seat downstairs. I will swap them! There is no big deal. It is easy to adjust to this bike. There is a The post office refused to deliver the package because it was too big, and it was frustrating. There is a They need to have someone else ship the item to resolve the issue. There is a If the shipping issue was fixed, I would give this five stars, but I am rating it a solid.

Brand: Royalbaby

Brand: Ids Home

👤I was very excited to get this. After having this bike for a few weeks, one of the pedals broke. The bar of the pedal came off, but it didn't remove the whole pedal.

👤A jointed fold connection hurts your leg. It was very painful.

👤When you get used to it, this bike folds and unfolds quickly. It was easy to put it together. The shop said it passed a safety inspection. Shifting is fun, but can be a challenge to lock into gear. The size is perfect for me. My 200 lbs plus weight seems to be fine. The seat is a bit painful. I'll be looking into making it more comfortable. There is a We will see how it holds up.

👤5/19 The price has gone up by 62.5% in a year. There is no description of what that means. The standard model is not available. Not good. I paid the full price for this bike, not a free promotion in exchange for a glowing review. I think this is a great item for people who love bikes. Amazon said 1-2 months for delivery. It only took 5 days. It's out of stock at idshomeusa website, so Amazon may be the only source for these bikes now. I can't comment on reliability yet because the bike just came. The first impression is that I really like this bike. There are 15 bikes in my garage, some of which are Dahons. I think this bike looks great, it has a curved main tube, and is styled like my $700 Dahon Mu P24). The bike has black paint and green trim. You can see green metal in the sun. Really nice touch! There is a I knew that it was not a Dahon. I had low expectations for this bike. It's very likely that the quality of bikes varies. I expected some work to be required to dial the bike in, since I do all my own bike repairs and adjustments. This bike is what it is. Depending on your environment and care, it will rust faster or slower. The bike would be a poor choice to leave outside or on a sailboat. Most parts are not upgradeable. I would call this a great kid's bike, a fine weekend bike or one to keep in the trunk of your car for fair weather use, moreso than a hardcore commuter bike through daily rain and mud. It's important to manage your expectations up front. The table has pluses and minuses. My bike-in-a-box was delivered in good shape. The paint damage could have been worse if the cardboard box had split, since there were no dents, damage or anything else. Both wheels spun well. You want plain steel spokes, not aluminum. Steel spokes will eventually rust. The Dahon boardwalk has plain steel spokes which oxidize after 12 years in the garage. The "Wanda" tires look good. A very low pressure rating is what the tires say "Inflate to 43 PSI" is. Better tires can handle more pressure. Proper function requires adjustment for the brakes and shifters. It's easy for me, but not for everyone. There are no special bike tools required, just an Allen wrench set, aPhillips screwdriver and a sockets set. The brakes work great, don't rub, and are very quiet after centering. The V-brake arms are made of steel. After careful adjustment, the 6-speed derailleur and grip shifter work well. The 14-28 freewheel gives a nice gear range and replacements are plentiful. The chain was clean and had lubrication on it. The bike has high gear that matches the pedal cadence and bike speed of a beach cruiser. Low gear is suitable for moderate hill climbing. The crank arms are made of steel. If you know that the left pedal uses a left hand thread, the non-folding pedals are easy to install. The pedals feel like the cheapest part of the bike. There is a You can't change the welded aluminum handlebar, but it works fine. The steel tube hinges to fold down and it telescopes to adjust the height into it. The locking mechanism feels solid and the lock tension is adjusted using two small Allen wrenches. The headset came adjusted properly and there was no excess play. I used an Allen wrench to change the brake levers and grip shifter on the bar. A bell and front reflector are included to mount on the handlebars. There is a The seat was pre-mounted at the right angle on the long and large diameter steel seatpost. The seatpost has a red rear reflector. The seatpost has a pattern for the quick release adjuster. There is a line engraved. The seat height on the right is half-inch above the max line. There is a lot of seatpost left in that area. The bike is responsive and solid, similar to my Dahons. There is a There are no tools required to fold the bike. Both folding mechanisms and the main tube feel solid. The wide range of height adjustments allows a folder like this to fit nearly anyone. My 11 year old is tall and enjoys riding a bike. If it's a bit clunkier than my Dahon, it's easy to fold this bike. The pedals don't fold, so the folded size is the same. The Dahon Mu is 8 pounds heavier than it is. There is a The kickstand has a locking feature, and you can kick the middle black lever instead of the bottom of the kickstand. There is an optional rear rack on the bike. The bike is fun to ride. It is easy to use and responsive. The brakes and shift work well to deliver a pleasant experience. The small wheels on the Dahons have a different feel and feel more twitchy than the larger wheels. "twitchy" becomes maneuverable after some practice.

11. Schwinn Network Hybrid Bicycle White

Schwinn Network Hybrid Bicycle White

A smooth ride is provided by the alloy hybrid frame with fit geometry and suspension fork. Quick, precise gear changes are provided by 21-speed shifters and rear derailleurs. The linear pull brakes are strong and lightweight. The seat post has a hybrid saddle and ergonomics. The 700c size wheel is for adults. The bike comes unassembled and has a limited lifetime warranty.

Brand: Schwinn

👤The 700C size wheel fits adults between 5'4" and 6'2". The bike was too big for me, I am 5'5". The bike carton shows the need for clearance between the top bar and crotch. I couldn't put my feet on the ground because I couldn't find any clearance for my height. It appears you have to be more like 5'7" to straddle the bike and be able to plant your feet on the ground with 1 or 2 between your crotch and the top bar. I ordered the bike because of the slope of the top bar, which I thought would allow me to easily mount the bike and plant my feet on the ground at a stop. I spent a lot of time getting the bike, paying $85 for assembly, and finding the bike was oversized because of the wrong web description. How can this happen? Who wrote the specifications for this bike? Who wrote it for a tall man? Who? I am angry because the description of the height range is completely wrong. Please remove this sentence because it is incorrect. I did not find a choice of frame sizes for this bike in the description. It must say for example that the man's height is 5'4" and the frame size is xx".

👤The bike came without pedals, seat post, and front wheel axle. I would have been happy just to get the missing parts if I had been able to contact customer support by phone and email.

👤My daughter is 10 years old and is 5 feet 2 inches tall. There is a The instructions were not perfect for raising handlebars. The bike is sturdy. The hybrid tread on tires is ideal. Schwinn quality is very good. We took the risk of ordering a bike online and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again.

👤Schwinn Network 1.5 700c is available. A 15 inch frame. There is a I was a bit worried about buying a bike online since I read the reviews that some customers were missing parts. I went with the suggested size according to my height on the Schwinn chart. The bike came with all the parts, and the size was correct for my height. There is a I watched a lot of videos on how to assemble since I knew I was going to assemble this bike. They were all the same. The video on the Schwinn website is universal as well. It was easy to figure out, it was less steps than the videos. This bike is perfect for standard sizes. I have to put the seat down so it's not too high. I sit on the seat with my toes on the ground. I was looking for a bike that would allow me to put my feet on the floor while I sit. I am looking for expert advice to see if I can change my wheel from the 28” to a 26 or even 24 inch. I'm not sure if I can. It is a good bike, packaged well and protected.
