The Bike Cleaner Concentrate is safe to use on all bikes and can be used with a little more oomph. The Schwinn Elm girl's bike is designed for children 3 - 4 years old or 36 - 40 inches tall. The elm is a great choice for riding to the park or riding on the sidewalk. Schwinn's SmartStart Technology makes this bike easier to start and use, with lighter frame, cranks and pedals positioned forward, and smaller grips and seat. The bike has a rear coaster brake and a front caliper brake, which are similar to adult bikes, to help younger riders transition to a hand-brake-only bike. The Schwinn Elm girl's bike can be adjusted with ease using the saddle, seat post, and slack seat-tube angle. The Q-Factor technology has narrower pedal positions that match the width of a child's hips, allowing for easier peddling and handling.
👤I cannot recommend this bike as it broke after a few uses. There is a My husband put it together. It wasn't very difficult, but took a bit more time than we thought it would. The peddles lost after three uses. What? We made sure everything was secure so our five-year old didn't fall because something came apart. A piece fell off as she rode into the inside of the chain area after a ride or two. I don't know what to say. The chain seems to have slipped, but there's a piece that is irretrievable. I'm very disappointed. I thought buying a Schwinn would help us avoid issues like this. Guess not. I can't find a way to return the bike or exchange it, which is really upsetting as it's useless.
👤Thanks for ruining our daughter's birthday. The bike is not drivable because of the bent fork connecting to the steering wheel. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
👤I thought the bike was better quality than the store. It was easy for anyone with a mechanical know how. The quality of the hubs, bearings, and anything that rotates was terrible. My 4 year old daughter had a hard time riding this thing. I did everything I could, except disassemble the hubs. This thing would stop going downhill. Terrible work. There is a The brakes are worth $2. I would want to trust the quality of what I would get for my baby. There is a If you return for a refund, you will get something that rolls.
👤When I opened the box to assemble the bike, I noticed that the basket had a large crack on the side. Which made me question the quality of the purchase. I can't review how the bike feels when it's wrapped because it won't be ridden until Christmas morning. Once my niece rides this bike, I will review it again. It would be great if the company could send a replacement basket.
👤Exactly what we were looking for. For our daughter, we got this. She really wanted a bike that was teal and this was perfect. We had her try a lot of different bikes to make sure she would be comfortable on them. She's still getting used to riding bikes without training wheels, but it's difficult for me to keep an eye on her because we live in a rural area where there's a lot of dirt and the only place she can ride is in the street. She needs the foot breaks until she transitions to a hand break only bike. The only bike I could find that was all we needed was this one, and it had hand and foot breaks. The BMX style bikes were not comfortable for her because you have to lean farther forward to reach the handles. This one has a more comfortable seat than the BMX style bikes that we tried, and it gives you a more upright posture. She hasn't been able to ride it much but it looks like a very well made and sturdy bike that I expect to last for many years, and she hasn't been able to ride it much but it looks like a very well made and sturdy bike that she hasn't been She loves it and I love it. My husband put it together quickly. Definitely recommend. The price tag was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but for the quality and everything we were looking for, it was definitely worth it. Shipping was fast and painless.
Design for kids. The bike has a training wheel. The quick release seat makes the height adjustment simpler. When the training wheel is off, it's a good idea to ride with a holder. The front handbrake is suitable for young riders. The steel frame is backed by a limited lifetime warranty, made of premium steel to survive the bumps of learning. The bike is simple to maintain and comes with a black tire. A do it yourself dart for safety. A child can make a unique bike with the decals by sticking their name on the frame or chain guard. The chain guard will last longer than other bikes, and your child will not get hurt if they try to touch the chain. It is easy to install. A novice can assemble a children's bike in about 20 minutes with the basic assembly tools. Please contact them if you have a problem with the bike. There is a size chart for bikes for boys and girls of varying ages. The child's height may be different even at the same age.
👤I would offer some criticisms on the design changes I would recommend. For the price, it seems to be better than the name brand stuff. The plastic chain guard on this one is very good. There is a The pad is not an important thing. Either do it right or not. There is a The training wheels seem fine, but the index point should be better to keep them from twisting. There is a There is a front reflector that mounts oddly. The seat is good, the tires are good, and the color is great. We will see how it holds up. There is a My little girl learned how to ride the bike and is happy with the color. The 14” was perfect because she is big for her age. My girl can ride a bike.
👤My daughter loves the bike, but it does not hold up. There are two holes in one tire after 17 days of riding it. We have to try to find a new tire for our bike because we are past our return window.
👤I had a worse experience buying this kid bike on Amazon. If I could, I would give 0 stars. There is a The bike was very difficult to assemble and when we put it together after a lot of sweat, the saddle and handle bar were loose and unsafe for a kid to ride. The bike was difficult to disassemble and I got injured in the process. We needed more tools to put it back in the box. The return experience was a nightmare. The return agents will not show up until the return date is passed. There is a We are reconsidering any purchase we make with Amazon and this particular vendor after a horrible experience.
👤We have had the worst experience with this bike and this company, but I never write negative reviews. We got this bike for our little girl as a gift, and the mechanism holding the pedals on the bike just fell apart. The parts that are needed for a bike to go round and round don't work. We tried to fix it, but we can't. The company referred us to a video on the internet. It was not helpful. We never heard back from them after my husband wrote them back and asked what else they could do to make it right. Just a mess. We will not buy from this company again. This is not the first incident. My son's bike, which we bought from this company at the same time we bought a bike for my daughter, is very poor quality. Not as bad as the girl bike, but definitely wouldn't buy it again.
Minor assemble is required for easy to assemble. The wheels, kickstand, pedals, handlebars, basket and saddle are needed to assemble. It's about 15-20 minutes. Within 7 days, you will get your bike. The recommended size chart is for children ages 3-6 years. The child's height/weight may be different even at the same age. Come with training wheels. It is a perfect choice for both beginning and skilled riders. The seat and bars allow the bike to grow. The multipurpose bike has highcarbon steel wheels, durable rubber tires with extra thickness and inflatable inner tube. You can ride smooth on the trail, driveway, stone road, dirt. The front and rear hand V-Brake provides enough stopping power to protect kids from danger. The training wheels have extra rubber to reduce noise. A one-piece crank, ball bearing drive shaft, and a coverage chain guard are included. A full coverage chain guard protects little hands, feet, and clothing. Their warehouse is in the state of CA, ordering earlier delivery.
👤I got my son a bike for Christmas. I am getting him a bigger bike because he outgrew his small bike. He can put his helmet in the basket when it comes with the bell. He needs to practice more in order to take the training wheels off. I asked my son if he wanted this one with the blue color, and he chose it. It is worse when he buys something he doesn't like and is asked to use it. My kid was very excited to ride his new bike after my husband put it together. The bike is sturdy and the paint is good. I always make sure that my child is safe when I buy them something. I want my son to ride a bike that is strong and sturdy, and so far this bike has met my need.
👤Happy with the quality of the bike. Since we are not using the training wheels, there are some missing items. The bike is easy to assemble if you can figure it out. The diagrams don't tell you which part you need to use. I don't know what the cross tube and the riser are. There is a The kickstand is the biggest problem. I have to keep trying different hardware until I find something that sticks because there is no instructions on how to put it on.
👤Santa gave my son a bike for Christmas. He didn't get to ride it for a while because the tires needed to be aired up and we didn't have a pump. The chain broke when he rode it for the first time. Not a good look for Santa. 85% of the bike was assembled. The instructions for the rest of the assembly are useless. It was not easy or fun to figure it out on your own. When the chain broke, I contacted the seller and was told to bring the bike to a bike shop to have it fixed. This was not an option. The seller sent me a new chain. I had to order a chain tool to put it on. I spent an hour and a half repairing the chain. The chain falls off on the first ride. The bike is being returned. It has been a huge pain and a waste of time.
👤We bought this bike in June of 2021. We left the original review on Amazon to help other parents make better bike choices. The company reached out to us and offered a gift card to take the bad review down. That doesn't compensate us for the bike our son was unable to ride, but it does show some questionable business practices. Don't buy this bike. - There is a The bike arrived with a broken hand. I have no idea how that is possible. My husband was able to reverse them. Our son rode it for a month and then a screw and spring fell out of one hand break and the bike chain fell off every few minutes and will not stay on for anything. We discovered we were a week past the deadline. Go figure. Don't spend your money on something you don't need.

The training wheel will keep everything pointing in the right direction until she is able to balance on her own. It's easy for your children to learn and feel comfortable behind the wheel with the singlespeed drivetrain and smaller grip design. The bicycles come with a basket and stickers that make them more fun to ride. There is a car with fenders. The bike comes with 85% assembled body, basic assembly tools, and a limited lifetime warranty.
👤The bike is not as described. The one we received had white tires, a basket with a bow, and a different color seat. Our daughter loves her bike. She enjoys riding it and helping put it together. My husband is going to fix it because it seems like it makes a noise when riding. The bike did not match the picture on the post.
👤The Handle Bar is missing! There are tools that are missing. There are damage to accessories. The front tire is with a hole. There was a sad birthday for some people. TYVM!
👤My husband put this bike together. He said it was not the easiest thing to do. A lot of little parts are put together. The training wheels are the worst thing about this bike. The rider is set leaning one way of the other when they come loose with movement. My husband wanted to put lock-tite on the bolts to keep them in place, but that didn't make sense to me when the plan was to transition the training wheels off at some point. We decided to teach our child to ride a bike without the training wheels, instead of messing with them anymore. We can throw the training wheels in the garbage now that she picked them up in an hour. Win for everyone! The bike has been great.
👤The bike is cute. It wasn't hard to build over all. I bought a bike from Joystar and it didn't have all the instructions on how to build it. I had to watch a video on you tube and look closely at the bike pictures. The bike brakes had to be adjusted. They weren't working. My daughter noticed when she was trying out the bike. We were able to fix it before she left. The bike also brakes by pushing the petals back. It took about 30 minutes to do the whole thing. The bike has an adorable card for your child.
👤I bought this bike for my daughter. I got stuck on the handbrake piece, but it was relatively quick to put together. I was having a hard time following the instructions in the manual as to how to tighten and adjust the handbrakes because the brakes near the wheel seemed loose. Even though my child will be using the back pedal brakes, I figured it out. It comes with both options. I don't think it's a good idea to use the age ranges to determine the size of bike for your child. I measured her height and inseam to determine which size to get and did not go by the age range on her bike. All in all, quick to assemble, seems very study. It's pretty cute! The basket is my daughter's favorite part. She didn't want to ride the bike until the basket was attached. It didn't have a seat yet. She was only concerned about the basket.
👤The bike is nicer than the ones I could find at the stores. There is a The white/blue one looks exactly like the pictures. The packaging was good. Everything was protected. One of the bolts to attach the fender to the frame was missing. I had one that worked. The other parts were in good condition. There is a The height description is off. My daughter is 42 inches tall. I bought a 16 inch bike based on the description. It was too tall for her. Her feet are not able to touch the ground. She has to wear shoes with thick soles and her feet can barely touch the ground while sitting on the bike. She has been biking her bike without wheels. We went biking on the trails. She did well. She struggled to control her new bike and it will take more practice to get used to it. She will probably grow soon if I go with a 14 inch. Maybe a 16 inch is still a better choice. This might not be an issue if you install the training wheels.
The kids bike by Pacific has a fire truck theme. There are 12 inch wheels for riders ages 2 to 4, or 28 to 38 inches tall. It's easy to use a single speed drivetrain. The brake on the rear coaster provides stopping power. The steel frame is durable. It's easy to tune the seat post.
👤We bought a bike for our child. He needed a bike that he could learn to ride without the assistance of training wheels. This bike is the perfect size for him to learn how to use his balance. He enjoys using the bike and it is easy to use. This seems like a great bike for him to learn on. The bike can adapt to him as he gets older. Our son loves the dinosaur design and the colors look great in person. There is a It was well packaged and required very little assembly. The assembly was easy to assemble. It is made of quality materials. The bike is a great value compared to other models. We have been very pleased with the purchase. If you have a child who loves dinosaurs and is learning how to ride, I would recommend this bike.
👤The quality seems to be decent for the price, however none of the bearings are oiled. Will need hub disassembler to prepare for final assembly.
👤The bike was easy to assemble. The directions in the box were not for this bike. There was no mounting plate for the bike. There were no parts there. I can't return the whole thing because it was a gift. I would like to have the mounting pieces for the face plate.
👤The bike came quicker than it had said. About a month. It arrived in less than a week. I needed it for her birthday and I was worried about that. The bike was easy to assemble. The ride was smooth. The color of the seat was not something I liked. I thought they should have put a different color to match it, but she loved it so much that I didn't think they should have done that.
👤The bike we bought was for our granddaughter. She loved it when she saw it and her eyes lit up. She loves the basket and the colors.
👤I found that there was only one training wheel after I put the bicycle together for my daughter. I am not taking it apart to box it. That is ridiculous. Pacific Cycles can five me the other wheel. The wire holding the handle bar to be painted broke and was stuck inside the bar. I was able to remove it.
👤The quality is below 75% and there are some things that need tweaking.
👤Our granddaughter was hit by a bike. The logos were clear and easy to assembly.

With a light steel frame and rims, the children can cruise up to speed with ease, but be aware that when it's time to pull up fast the combined backpedal rear brake will be there. The kids bike is easy to pedal and fun to ride. The structure of the kids bike is inspired by the Beach Cruiser Bike. The Hi-Ten steel frame and fork have great impact resistance. A cute frame design with fires or flowers. They have a better fit for easy pedalling and have a low gearing. It's easy to provide stopping power when needed, so it's a great option for young riders. The enclosed chain guard is for your kids. The training wheel will keep everything pointing in the right direction until she is able to balance on her own. The kid bike comes with 85% assembled body, basic assembly tools, and a limited lifetime warranty.
👤We loved the bike. Our daughter was in love as soon as my husband put it together. It is her 5th birthday present. It is perfect for her. The pedal was the problem. We contacted Amazon and were displeased because we told them we don't want to return but need the pedal as it's not working and they said they can't help unless I return. I was wondering if I could contact the seller. Within an hour, I responded to the message I had sent. My problem was solved. This is the problem. The left and right pedals should be screwed in the same way. The way we were doing it was the wrong way. Did they suggest how to do it? Done. It is easy to assemble with the tools provided, but a screw driver is needed to put the lights on the bike.
👤My son's 4th birthday is this bike. We got him a seat with training wheels that fits him perfectly. He is just shy of 41" tall. There is a The directions that came with the bike were confusing but assembly was easy. It took 45 minutes to assemble. Keeping the alignment with the front tire was the most difficult part of getting the handbags tightened down. That is a two person job. The rest can be done on their own. There is a The frame, seat, and tires are strong but the front reflectors are not. My son falls and the fender bends out of place. They are easy to push back into place, but I am not happy with how quickly they move. The first spill my son took, the front reflector snapped off, leaving a sharp piece of plastic. I need a new, stronger, reflector after removing it. There is a I think this is a great first bike and well worth the price.
👤We bought this for our 5 year old little girl. It was easy to put together, it was a really cute little bike. The instructions didn't explain everything, but I looked at the pictures and figured it out. The hub doesn't spin very long but she hopes it will help her when she rides it around. Great purchase!
👤We got a blue bike with a different design than the one we bought, but it was light blue. I can't find the bike color that I ordered. My daughter loves her bike, but she would probably love any bike. It's a heavy bike for a young child to hold up and maneuver, and it doesn't come with a kickstand, despite what I read online. I find it very heavy when I have to pick it up. The weight of the bike doesn't matter when my daughter is on it. The handlebars don't adjust up and down, but you can adjust it forward and back, and the pedals don't have any grip so her foot slips from them every now and then. The color I ordered was greenish. I got the blue one with flowers that look exactly like the photo I ordered, but I didn't get the color I ordered. We have already put the seat up as high as it can go, so maybe we should have ordered the next size up for her. When she transitioned from her balance bike to a big girl bike, we had it lower. We never put the training wheels on the bike because she only took 2 days to learn to balance. There is a I wouldn't recommend this bike because of its heavy weight, lack of kickstand, and lack of grip on the pedals.
The Q-Factor technology has narrower pedal positions that match the width of a child's hips, allowing for easier peddling and handling. Design for kids. The bike has a training wheel. The quick release seat makes the height adjustment simpler. When the training wheel is off, it's a good idea to ride with a holder. The hand brake is not enough power to be used by a young rider.
👤I can tell you that this bike will last a long time after we bought it for my son. I have only had the bike for 2 days, but it has a great feel to it and the components are well made. The manual is very confusing, which is the reason for 4 stars. You have to read through the general assembly booklet to understand what directions are meant for the bike you purchased. I had to wing it because I couldn't find directions for our model. It was still confusing, but not brain science. One of the pedals that are threaded by twisting left instead of right is something to be aware of. I thought it was a malfunctioning pedal. If you are having trouble threading, try twisting the opposite direction. This one is not always righty tight and lefty loose. All of them were very happy with this purchase.
👤We bought the bike in blue after reading reviews of similar bikes. The Joystar bike is unlike any bike in the neighborhood. It is a little heavy, but the materials are good. My son reports that the seat is comfortable, the brakes are not stiff, and it is easy to pedal. He has been riding it for a month and a half. If I remember correctly, he is happy to have a kickstand. I didn't assemble it, but my husband said it was issue-free. Some reviews mentioned difficult assembly, but that wasn't our experience. I would recommend it.
👤We are very happy with this bike and my son is now out of training wheels and riding it happily on two. The bike is sturdy. The tires are doing what they are supposed to. If the issues with assembly from my initial review are not a big deal to you, I would highly recommend it. It is worth it several years later. The package arrived in good shape but I encountered my first problem. The key provided wouldn't catch in the screws, so removing the screws that secured the handle bar was a challenge. It took about 10 minutes to turn the handles. Getting the stem attached to the frame was the next challenge. Many reviewers stated that the directions that came with the product were not helpful for this bike assembly. The picture on the page for the bike was helpful, but it didn't give clear instructions on how to secure the stem of the handle bars to the frame of the bike. I got the piece secured after about 20 minutes of trying. The bell that was supposed to come with the bike was not included in our package. Amazon can't request that piece be sent as it comes from a third party. I'm hoping I can find some information for the ToyStar company so I can get this piece for my son. There is a It is a nice looking bike and sturdy looking too, now that it is all assembled. The tires are strong. We will be taking the bike out for a test run tomorrow and I will revise my review to include how it goes. There is a There is a small scratch on the frame, but it is not a big deal for me.

👤This little bike is great. It was packaged well and put together. It was easy to assemble and the seat and handle bars can be adjusted so it can grow with your child. Our grand daughter loves it. We liked it because it's not too large. She was not intimidated by it at all. The fatter tires allow her to ride with ease on our dirt road as well as the pavement of our driveway. The product is great for the price.
👤The first bike was great. Our 4 year old is really enjoying riding and is riding with the training wheels on. There is a I only needed aPhillips screwdriver and a uni-wrench-thingamajig for the assembly to be done. You can adjust the seat with your hand by flipping it open. There is a You need a pump for the tires to stay on the rim. It wasn't a big deal because we ordered a pump with the bike and figured we'd need one eventually. There is a You don't have to hunt for a set of sockets when you remove the training wheels because they are secured with bolts. There is a We bought a bell for five dollars, and we recommend some additional lighting, as well as a battery headlight. There is a We are really pleased with the bike, it far exceeded our expectations. Our youngest will have it for a year or two, and she loves it.
👤The bike is cute. I put the basket and baby seat in my three year old. One of the foot pedal screws is too large for the hole it goes into, so it is not screwed all the way in. The website for the bike that the instruction manual for is for does not exist, so it took me a long time to assemble it. I had to wing the bike. We will see how durable it is after receiving it today. I was surprised with the stickers it came with. Despite the assembly issues, I'm satisfied with the alternative...this is an excellent alternative.
👤Our daughter's 5th birthday is when we bought this bike. She has been riding a balance bike since she was small. The training wheels were not included when we assembled the bike. She was riding like a pro within 4 days. She likes the colors. We added a bell to the handlebars. The bike is a bit heavy. She almost always drops the bike when she loses her balance, and needs a hand to get it back. I'm not sure why it's so heavy. Our daughter is just 5 years old and she is about 39 inches tall. I think we bought the 14-in model. It's the right size with the seat all the way down. We can raise the seat and handlebars to give her room to grow. We're really happy.
The material is high quality. The Nice C BMX Kids Bike is made from high quality magnesium alloy metals that allow it to be both lightweight and heavy duty. The weight was only 14.2 lbs. The bike is one of the lightest on the market. You can better control the bike with the lightest weight. A single bicycle and dual brake system. The bike has a v-brake in the front and a disc brake in the rear. The setup makes the bike stop at a shorter distance and is more efficient than single-disc brakes. Their BMX bike has thick tires that grip the ground better and improves the overall stability while riding. The wear and tear of the tires can be delayed by multiple rubber layers. There is no need to spend more money on this bike because it has long lasting tires. Their bike comes with training wheels so kids can learn how to ride a bike. It is adjusted. They have a bike that will allow you to adjust the handlebars and seat heights to fit your child's needs. The handlebars can be adjusted from 21 to 25 inches, and the seat height can be adjusted from 17 to 22 inches. They can personalize their new bike with a page of fun stickers.
👤I spent a lot of time reading online about the proper size of bikes for a child who is learning to ride. I found lots of great sites explaining the key designs to the best beginner bikes. Woom, Guardian, Pello, and other brands have made learning to ride easier for little ones with their low weight, long wheel base, and narrow q factor bikes. The price of this bike is 3x what they cost. I am not an expert cyclist and I don't have personal experience with those brands. The following comparisons are based on published specifications. The NiceC bike isn't as good as those brands, but it does offer a bit more for its price. I was not able to find a new 16" bike in the price range that came with handbrakes or was less than 20 lbs, both of which are important factors in determining weight. I bought 2 of these bikes for the twins that will be turning 6 in a month. My son is tall and weighs 46 lbs. He has an inseam of 19 inches. His sister is 47.5 inches tall with an inseam of 20. Both my son and daughter are able to ride without training wheels. I was tempted to return my daughters NiceC to purchase a larger bike after learning more about size. I decided to keep them for this season since they still don't ride without training wheels and they are on the large size. If they don't use training wheels this year, they will be ready for 20 bikes next season. I plan to keep the boys bike for when he is big enough, even though I will be able to recover some of the cost of selling the NiceC next year. There is a There are a few reasons why I take a star away. The height ranges in the photo seem too wide based on research on how to size a bicycle. The NiceC is small for a 47" tall child and a rider that has skill in balance and pedaling at that size should have a larger bike. The wheel base and cockpit are not great. The bicycle length in the photos is reported to be 42.5", however in my measurements it is actually 44.5" The wheel base is comparable to other bikes. The Woom 3 is 28.03", the Royalbaby line lists a 28.5" wheel base, and my kids current 16" Huffy junk bikes are also similar lengths. The Woom 3 Top tube is 15.75" in length and I measured the NiceC at just 13" My daughter's legs will be a bit cramped, however this may seem insignificant. It is comparable to the bikes we currently have, even though it is not matching the top tube/cockpit space of the highest of the high end. Expect the Royal baby bikes to be similar to Huffy/NiceC here, because you can't find any specifications on them. My daughter's legs are close to the handle bars, so she can ride the bike without pedals, and then I will adjust the seat and bars to make more space for pedaling. The instructions were more confusing than just looking at pictures and putting it together. If I had no experience working on bikes, it would have been hard to complete the instructions as the bike comes 90% assembled. They did a great job and included all the tools. It's good to keep them for future projects. I needed pliars to make sure the seat wasn't slipping. The quick release works well now. There are 3 more Quality and brand are uncertain. If you search "magnesium alloy china bike frame", you can find the frame and components. These are both made by companies in China and don't appear to have any reliable information online about the quality or safety. I couldn't find anything about the Duoder rear disk brake. Since these are starting bikes and don't expect my 6 year old's to have extreme or even moderate riding conditions I don't have safety concerns. I wouldn't put my trust in these components for street riding at high speeds. They seem to function well. The brake levers are plastic and will be updated after the season is over. There are four Some of the photos have knobby tread while others have smooth tread. The knobby tread that I received was either from older versions or it was just random. The knobby tread would have been better for gravel and dirt. My daughter will be too small in a year for the cockpit to be small, so I will keep it and give it a try. I don't plan on using training wheels on these. It's important for a child that hasn't learned to ride without training wheels to be able to place both feet on the ground. It should work out for my kids. The inseam is more important than the height and should work out. If it were possible, I would have purchased an 18 NiceC for my daughter. Hopefully this will be offered in the future. If you want to learn to ride by balance first, watch some videos on the internet. The things. I like the bike. The magnesium alloy is light weight and the design looks cool. The champagne and pink look great. It seems strong and I think it will last. The frame looks like a lightning bolt, but I am not sure if we will add any other stickers ordecals. The light weight of this bike makes it stand out over other models in the price range. I did not have the training wheels so I measured 17.9 lbs. Our Huffy bikes are 22 lbs and 20.5 lbs, while the Royal baby freestyle is at least 24 lbs. The Woom 3 is only 11.7 lbs, but I couldn't find any other bike under 20 lbs. Most adults ride bikes that are 20% of their body weight. This isn't possible for kids, but 40% is ideal and this bike meets that requirement. There are two more Having hand breaks was mandatory after reading and knowing my kids experience with pedal braking when learning to pedal. There are legal reasons that most companies sell bikes with coaster breaks, but I think my kids will do better with hand breaks. I plan to teach them to balance and break before they put the pedals on the bikes. There are no new bikes with dual hand break in this price range. I think the disk brake is a cool upgrade. It seems to function well and offers fast breaking ability, although haven't been on the roads yet to verify. There is a This bike is better than the Huffy and Royalbaby bikes that are sold here. I would really like to see a 18" version. I think it will work with my daughter. She may be a little cramped but will update after she gets rid of some. This bike is in a weight class that is well above its sale price due to its light weight frame and lack of a coaster brake. The dual hand brakes and rear disk brake are included in this bike. It was easy to assemble, but the directions are not very clear if you are not handy. I am very excited for my kids to use these once it warms up. Kids took their first rides this weekend and did not have training wheels. They learned how to use the brakes and balance the bikes on the first day. On the second day, we added pedals and tried them. The brakes are not easy to adjust, still have pad rubbing on the disc, and were not fully eliminated after 2 hours of work. You need a number 5 allen wrench to adjust the disc brake. The part of the brake that is different will come apart if you adjust it. Only the 2 top and right side screws can be adjusted. Two people are on top of a disc. Fine tuning of the right pad is possible with the one on the right. I think the discs are not completely flat as there is still some rub, and will eventually take to a professional to see if they can tune it. The silver bike front tire is out of shape and causes wear on the front brake pads. pliers are required to tighten the tube for the seat. There is no way to replace the small plastic piece between the seat tube and clamp because it is non-standard. There is a I am very happy with the bikes, despite the few problems and concerns. If you want a low weight bike that doesn't have a coaster brake, you should read the original review. I intended the bike to be a good learning bike for 6 year olds using the NO training wheel and NO coaster brake method. My kids did this for less than two hours on the second day. If you are going to try, you need to spend some time reviewing the step to teach this and potential risks of not having a coaster brake, as well as teach how to use hand brake prior to learning to pedal. To use a balance bike without pedals, the child should be able to have both feet flat on the ground. You can watch the videos on the internet. My kids are too big for this bike, but I know that buying larger bikes next season is not as important to an experienced rider as learning to ride.
5. There are more size options! The 12 inch bike is suitable for girls between the ages of 2 and 4 years old. You can find a perfect size for your little beloved with their easy-to- follow size chart. The kids height should be taken into account. It is easy to use and maintain a single speed drivetrain. The rear coaster brake has an intuitive stopping function. The mailbox storage compartment is on the Handlebar. Your child learns to ride on the training wheels. Children 2 to 4 years old can fit on 12 inch wheels.
👤It looks like a picture and is actually very well made. My daughter and I love it.
👤Bolts are hidden in the packaging. It's hard for a 3 year old to pedal a toddler bike. When he can ride our other bike, he has some difficulty. It is cute, but not sure it is suitable for the age.
👤I got this for my grandson's birthday. He loved it. The little Blue's Clues picture that's supposed to zip tie to the handle bars is flimsy plastic and can easily be damaged, making it a cutting hazard for little hands. It's a quality little Schwinn, but left that part off the bike. Two thumbs up.
👤Great product. It was made well and sturdy. My son loves it.
👤This is a bike that my grandson will love. The pedals are useless. They have no grip. His feet are moving. I tried putting tape on them. I bought new pedals to replace the red ones.
👤The picture is the same as this one. The bike has stickers on it. I had to put air in the tires. It was bright and colorful. It is easy to assemble.
The Schwinn Koen boy's bike has 14-inch wheels and is designed for children 3 - 4 years old. The Koen can be used for riding to the park or riding on the sidewalk. The Schwinn's SmartStart Technology bike is designed for kids, with lighter frame, cranks and pedals positioned forward, geared for easier starting, and smaller grips and seat. The bike has a rear coaster brake and a front caliper brake, which are similar to adult bikes, to help younger riders transition to a hand-brake only bike. The Schwinn Koen boy's bike can grow with your child and be prepared for a full-sized bicycle with the help of theadjustable saddle, seat post, and slack seat-tube angle. The Schwinn Koen boy's bike with 14-inch wheels comes ready to be assembled and includes the following: training wheels, saddle handle, chainguard, and number plate.
👤The bike is very heavy for its small size. The model is 14 inches. I returned the first one because it had a severely bent rear wheel. The replacement wheels were not enough to return again. Poor quality wheels are what I would say. The rest of the bike was fine. My 4 year old has a hard time pedaling this thing because of the weight.
👤I bought this bike for my child. The tires were buckled when we looked at them. I ordered a replacement bike to swap out the tires, but they are buckled and I didn't receive it. I would expect a better price. We are returning both bikes we ordered because we aren't taking another chance. We have a sad 3 year old with no bike.
👤The lack of adjustability with the training wheels was the reason I dropped one star. It is barely enough room for training to balance. My boy is on 3 wheels. The child won't be allowed to lean into the turn. He was set free after I replaced him with an aftermarket $30. The bike was great. I would recommend it.
👤My 4.5 year old is small for his age and we bought him a 14 inch bike. I looked at a guide for bike wheel size and height and chose the 14 inch. He likes this bike because it is a big kid bike. This bike is for a small child. It was more than I wanted to pay, but 14inch is hard to find. When it was put together, there were no complaints from the hubs.
👤I bought this bike for my grandsons 3rd birthday. Maybe he preferred red or that his brothers bike was closer to the ground, he first wanted his younger brothers bike more. My grandson is a stuntman. He was driving it without a problem within the first week. My son was able to put it together. It was perfect for my little guys. My son says it's strong and sturdy.
👤I opened the new bike and there are a lot of issues. The biggest issue is the brake cord. The instructions don't match the bike parts, the handlebar assembly that we received isn't mentioned at all, and I have to guess at putting it together. The assembly of the front tire is not clear from the instructions. The language in the assembly guide is geared towards a bike shop, which is not meant for a parent to put these together. I got it together. I'm not sure how long the brake cord will last, even though it seems to be working even with the broken strands. The training wheels are made of plastic, no rubber or tread on them, but they are easy to attach to. I'll try to remember to check in after we ride it.
👤The bike is nice, but the shipment was missing something. We had to take it to a local bike shop to get the missing part. The instructions were terrible and didn't match the bike we got.
