The rubber compound is very strong. The Tacx trainer tire is quieter than regular bicycle tires. It's not suitable for bicycling outdoors.
👤I waited to write this review because I don't think it's appropriate to review products immediately after you get them. I was skeptical in this case. I knew Tacx made good trainers, even though I saw other negative reviews. I destroyed my good quality road tires at a rate of 1 every 150 trainer miles until I put this tire on. They were good tires that had tread left, but maybe some small cuts, so they weren't new tires. I put this Tacx tire on because regular tires were noisier and more prone to slip. It was an immediate change for the better. Quieter, no slip, is simply much better performance. I wore it out after 2500 miles. I'm putting on my second tire tonight because I don't get that much life out of more expensive tires. It doesn't mount as easy as a nice supple high quality road tire, but who cares, I'm in the comfort of my home shop. This is an excellent tire trainer. I'm not sure if anyone would think differently.
👤Thanks to the reviews who explained the size of the tire. If you have 700 x38C, this tire will work for your indoor cycling training. I had my two month old son sleeping next to me and I did not feel weak. Every cent is worth it when it comes to traction.
👤Jan 2019. It was used only on the Kickr snap. I don't know the exact amount of miles or hours I put on the tire, but it has begun to dry out and crack. I did three one hour rides a month. As of this morning, it separated and created a bulge. The tire went flat because of this. There is a The tire was smooth and quiet. I got a year out of it. It cost less than a good tire. I would most likely order this again, but I was expecting a little bit more resilience. There is a The time I spent out was worth it.
👤It took me 6+ hours to install this POS and 6 punctures because the tire is too small. For 6 hours 2 ruined tubes and 10 minutes of use, it's $40. I bought this tire a long time ago. I tried it for the first time today. I bought my first bike. I raced for a while. I used tubular tires from 1971 to 1992. I own 2 road bikes and 2 mountain bikes, both of which are Trek carbon fiber. I got my first trainer in 1984. I was riding a tire that was 700x23c. I only use my trainer in the winter. I ride for an hour 3 times a week. The tire lasted 20 years. A sturdy grade road tire. The tire is too small to fit on the rim without puncturing the tube. The tire was thrown in the trash. I had a spare Continental Ultra 2000 in my basement. I put that on in 20 minutes and rode for an hour. I've tried a lot of products. This is the worst. Stay away, do yourself a favor.
It was designed for the home trainer. Zaffiro pro Home trainer has a special compound and tread pattern. The noise reduction and heat dispersion is better. The recommended pressure is 100 - 145 psi.
👤I agree with some people who said this is a good tire, but I can't get rid of the lumpy sections. I've changed bike tires, massaging the sidewalls, and slowly pumping up the tube to try to get the cord to sit within the proper place in the rim, and I've improved the smoothness enough to ride on my trainer until my wife recovers from surgery. It has very little rolling resistance and is very quiet, and no signs of wear over my first 100 miles or so, so I recommend it. Don't expect it to be perfect.
👤I use my smart trainer for about 1,500-2,000 miles a year. This tire was purchased after it wore out. A good racing tire is more snug on the rim than a tight tire. It will need a lever to get on the rim. I need to inflate 105 PSI. The tire is quieter than a road tire and is very durable. I am very happy with the performance of this tire.
👤Normally I use an old tire for the trainer wheel, but I decided to get a dedicated tire. I got it on the wheel after taking a little extra effort. It is a tight fit. It is much quieter than a normal tire. It runs very smoothly.
👤So far, 50 hours have been spent on this. It has been covering everything in blue rubber over the past couple weeks. I'm not very sure I'm going to get much more life out of this tire. I keep it loose on my Tacx Vortex at 100psi. Be warned, it's very stiff to mount. Unless you're a shop employee, you'll be swearing.
👤The tire did not like being held. It had to be convinced to mount onto my rim. There is a small hitch every revolution of the tire in my trainer. The bead is set around the rim and not sure what to make of it. It's not noticeable when I'm under power. The blue compound has better traction than the Schwalbe One on a trainer cylinder. Road tires slipping under power is something I have had to contend with. Not anymore. I own a Cannondale Caad10 Black Inc.
👤I had been using an old road tire as my trainer tire, but this one works better, it doesn't wear as fast and doesn't slip. It was easy to get on a tire.
👤I have been on this wheel for 200 miles and it is not showing any signs of wear. I like things even though it doesn't match my bike. The shipping was quick and the product was great.
It has never been so technical. The Zaffiro Pro Home tire is designed for smooth-rolling and quiet home training. The bike tire trainer has a special compound and tread pattern, plus their strongest casing, designed to reduce noise and heat generated by home cycling. The Zaffiro Pro indoor trainer tire will reduce your noise levels. Quiet cycling and no signs of wear and tear for hundreds of miles. It is easy to assemble. The process of fitting a trainer tire onto a rim is very simple and fast. Calibration of the tire-to-roller will be easy. The pressure should be between 100 and 145 psi. The tire is used by USA Cycling. Professional riders have tire choices. The winner of the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a Espaa, Classics, World Championships, European Championships and Olympic Games.
👤One star was bumped down. The new tire only lasted two seasons before it started splitting apart. All the information to include purchase dates, my address, and pictures was sent to me by email. I was asked to give them a call. My schedule doesn't allow me to call during the day so I leave a voicemail every time. More options should be available to get an RMA in this day and age. I think it was an old tire stock that I received. If you get a fresh tire, it will be great. Seven years? I only used the tire for seven years. I had to order another one because the first one was so bad that it rotted and cracked. Only after a long time. It didn't last forever. I would only rate it one star if I knew more.
👤This tire comes in a small box and is flat, so give it some time to adjust to room temp and rest, it sounds like we're cooking... I know. I'm not going to lie, I tried to get this sucker on my rim, but I was able to get it on the rim after a few attempts. I love the color of the tire on my front and rear tire, and I have been rocking it on my indoor trainer. I went there and it worked. Happy training. Cheers.
👤There is almost no wear after 2200 trainer miles. The metal of the trainer rubbing off the tire causes some blackening. This thing is ridiculous. I think it will be decades before I need another. I have over 1300 trainer miles on this tire and it still looks new. There is a small amount of red dust on my trainer. The tire is still performing like new after 1300 miles. I have been using these all winter since getting a smart trainer. I started with my regular tire and it was starting to wear out fast. I decided to order them. I have over 500 trainer miles on them, and you can't see any wear. My trainer is very pleased with them. It was easy to put them on my wheel. I use tire levers. I have one for my bike and one for my wife. Both of them are working well.
👤I used to run my bike tires on my trainer and the sound was so loud it would drive my family batty. I put this on the spare wheel. I had the local bike mechanic install it for me. I couldn't mount the tire I bought. Everyone says that the tire is made of a very hard rubber. It is very quiet. I have been using it for 400 miles and have no wear. After a short time, it will pick up a metalic substance. This is normal. Some rubbing alcohol and a rag can get it off. It's a good idea to keep it at 100psi, as the tire says, and to re-train after you do. I recommend this as I have good tires from Vittoria that I use on my wheels a lot.
Special cold compound rubber is designed for indoor training. A rubber compound keeps the sound low and the durability high. It's really dangerous for train or rollers only.
👤I love Continental tires and jumped at the great price Amazon had on this tire. The Continental Hometrainer tire is usually more expensive than the Tacx or Vitorrio, so I decided to go with it. I've been using old road tires and the last one lasted all of last winter and half of this one. Since I'm out of worn tires, I bought this first dedicated trainer tire. I was surprised by the rubber burning odor when I put the tire on, but I thought it would go away as the tire wore. My sister came from the other side of the house to see what was burning. It's quite offensive. It is worse than the old tire that didn't smell until the last few sessions. There is a I inflated the tire to 105 PSI as recommended by Tacx, and under the 120 PSI limit for the tire. I cleaned the roller. The trainer did not have a problem. I rode a very easy half-hour session. I was amazed to see the amount of rubber in this tire. It's not going to last very long if it sheds that much rubber in half an hour. The old tire was taller than the cardboard in the picture. The tire is at 200x23 and doesn't come close to the cardboard. I vacuumed up all the rubber bits from the old tire before setting up the trainer with this tire, so you can see the 30 minutes of pedaling with it. I'm very disappointed in this product. If I could, I would give it zero stars.
👤Some people swear by these. Others say that they're not worth the time. It works, but I'm not sure it's as good as riding on an old worn out tire and spinning on it. I will post my experiences and let you decide. - It's not as loud as road tires, probably due to the lack of tread. It won't make your trainer quiet like a direct drive trainre like the Wahoo KickR. It grips better than certain tires, but not really any better than others. It's nice to have less annoying squeaking. It was easy to go on my wheels. I had no trouble. Maybe I'm used to tough tires. I don't know. It is very durable on the trainer. If you don't have old bike tires laying around and you don't want to waste your good road ones, this tire is a good move.
The lightweight and portable waterproof raincoat is perfect for daily work, golf, fishing, hiking, camping, cycling, mills, Road construction, timber harvest, agriculture, mining, shipyards, forestry, utilities, hunting, food processing etc. It is great for all occasions. The trainer Road MTB bicycle has a quick release cycle skewer. The cycle rear wheel is held in the clamps. All rear cycle wheels with hollow axle have a standard rear skewer size. The trainer is profiled to secure into a cylindrical shape. If you've been riding indoors for a while, you've probably fallen over or tipped your bike out of the trainer. Skewer made a Trainer Skewer that was specifically designed for trainers to make sure you're always upright. It fits most rear wheels and is shaped to fit in the rear wheel mount of the trainer.
👤I was riding at 20 mph when this broke. I didn't get hurt when I fell into the stair. My husband is a mechanical engineer and he found that this was broken from a brittle fracture and that it was a poor quality material or an improper heat treat. Don't buy this and save your money.
👤I ordered a different one at first. It never showed up. I blame the USPS, but not the manufacturer. They are terrible. There's usually trouble when I order from the USPS. Tracking is when we have no idea where your stuff is, so it's running late. You need to stop doing business with them. Quwei Quick Release Rear Wheel Skewer is a product. I received it the next day and it was delivered by an Amazon van. It worked perfectly on the bike trainer. The bike trainer is from Amazon. I lost the skewer and this one. Good luck with USPS when it comes to delivery. Even though I was home all day waiting for it, the best one I got from the USPS was "Attempted delivery, no one home".
👤The product is garbage. The first time I tightened it, it snapped, it was purchased to set my bike up on the trainer. I'm thankful that it didn't allow me to put it on the trainer. A failure after setting up a trailer could cause serious injury. Do not buy this product if you want to hurt yourself.
👤The rear wheel of my car was installed and stayed in my basement for 3 days. I found it broken and on the ground. It could cause a serious injury if I was riding my bicycle. I would warn people about this product.
👤The skewer is being manufactured in a way that is not in line with the material selection or process used, which causes the skewer to break on the quick release side. I needed a longer skewer to attach the burley hitch to the child trailer. I was trying to align the trailer with the hitch when it broke, there was no load applied at the time. I was not pulling my children down the road when this happened. I wouldn't buy this product because your life depends on it.
👤This is being used with an older Kurt trainer. I bought another skewer from KurtKinetic for less than the one I bought. This one is about 4mm longer. My bike has 135mm rear dropouts. I think it would work with 130mm spacing, but I don't think it would make 142mm. If you have 142mm or higher, you would need a thru-axle and an accessory.
The tire is used by USA Cycling. Professional riders have tire choices. The winner of the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a Espaa, Classics, World Championships, European Championships and Olympic Games. The tire is 26 by 1.95 inches. It was patterned after motorcycle tires for low rolling resistance. Wire beads are more durable. The grooves channel water to the tire edge. Blackwall sides have a lighter weight profile.
👤My 1996 Schwinn High Plains has always been a favorite of mine, I like to run to the store and bring camping with me. The recent purchases of gravel and fat tire bikes put it in limbo. I decided to make it an Urban Thrasher and based on other reviews made the swap from knobbies to these tires. Holy moley! A new ride! Even at 65 lbs., it was quiet, responsive, and sorta "cushy". I love the look. I used a 1 oz bottle of Testors' paint to clean up the horse. It's in my bike rotation for a completely different ride than my other bikes. It was good for the changes! I only gave three stars because I don't know.
👤I've got about 250 miles on these tires, and I'm very pleased with them. The original tires on my Jamis Explorer were hybrid, but since I only ride on paved trails, when it came time to replace them, I decided to get a road tire. A skinnier tire would be quicker, but these are quiet, smooth riding, and they handle wet pavement very well. The cross section is reminiscent of a bell curve, and that recurs on the edges of the tread, so you won't have to worry about puddles. Even though they are extremely thin, they seem to be very durable, and after 250 miles, about 80% of the little molded hair is still on the tires. I have a steel framed bike that weighs about 250 tires and I carry a lot of gear and lunch in my backpack, so I am loading these tires very high. I keep air pressure at 65, which still works well, but I cut it back to 50 in the front and 55 in the rear for one ride, which made the ride very smooth over the rough bumps. I think I have a pretty good set of tires at a great price, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good, durable, general purpose street tire. You slip because there isn't enough tread depth to get a grip. The tread on my bike looks like one of the patterns Kenda uses on their motorcycle tires, which makes it a bit unique.
👤I wanted to see if the wheels made a difference. I like the linear, smooth feel of road bikes, but I don't like the riding position on mountain bikes. The knobby tires wore me out quickly and all that effort led to little progress. I decided to buy these tires since I was already replacing inner tubes. The difference it made was very surprising. It's like riding on a cloud when you ride on a low Friction tire. The flared edges of these tires make them interesting, but they make it hard to keep the tire in contact with the road through turns. I inflated the wheels to 40 feet. I didn't have a gauge yet, but I went about on my way. The extra air you need to firm up the tires leads to a heavier bike when carried, but this works to your advantage. The pedal effort is reduced because of the lower friction. Extra air in a rotating mass keeps the wheel rolling. It's just a little science to explain the extra weight to other reviewers. The weight doesn't weigh you down and the pedal effort is easier than knobby tires. I would have paid a lot more for these tires. There is a Also, note: The tread on these tires might be more efficient if one mounts them so that the treads go to the edge and not the other way around. If you were to look down at the front tire from the bicyclist's point-of-view, it would look like the grooves. The back should be mounted the same way as the front. You will be happy when the rain comes around. There is a SMOOTH ride. Reduced pedal effort. A fast tire. It's perfect for gravel, dirt, etc. Don't push it too hard. You will get your money's worth, and then some. Quiet. I mean quiet. There is a How quiet it is. Pedestrians not being aware of you coming behind might be to blame for the quiet ride I have on a college campus. That's what a bell is for. Is it? The edge and contact patch make installing past the brake pads a little more difficult. I just can't think of anything else with this tire. It's that good. Do yourself a favor. If you ride your mountain bike more on pavement, you should invest in these tires. Everything will be easier and more enjoyable with them. The person who wanders into your path is not included. It's a good thing.
The slick design of the car provides optimal traction on rough streets while the burly case provides protection in the concrete jungle. The thicker the tire, the harder it is for glass, pins, and other urban unpleasantries to worm their way in. The rubber is 2X the rubber. The lifespan of a tire is twice that of the rubber tread. The price is 50% off the competition. Smoother ride quality. Twice the rubber makes for a smooth ride.
👤These are in 25mm. They are great. It was very supple for the width. I haven't gotten any flats yet because the rubber is thick. I chose these tires because they were from a decent maxxis kevlar lined tire which prevented a lot of flats. Since I commute on these, I wanted them to be cheaper. There is a The maxxis tires are $60 to 70, while these are like $25. I've been pleasantly surprised by the ride. They have more grip than the maxxis tires but are a bit heavier. I've also owned marathons and gatorskins. Imo skingators are great tires, but they don't last because of the decay of the sidewalls and the heavy weight of the marathons. The above tires retail for over $50 a piece. Try these thick slicks and save some money.
👤The tread on my mountain bike makes it necessary to wear ear muffs while working out, so I started using an indoor trainer. The idea of having to swap a tire every time you ride outside with the kids seemed wrong, and it was likely that I would buy another rear wheel. The ThickSlick is silent on the trainer and road ready too. Problem solved!
👤This is the second set of tires that I have purchased. Let me tell you about them. The first pair lasted a long time. The front tire never went flat even after some of the nasty cuts and injuries I've seen in tires. The tire went flat after I hit the beer bottle. I had a flat with them. I'm estimating 5000 miles of use. The handling and roll of this tire are incomparable. I have been a lifelong customer of WTB. The only negative I can think of is people asking if your tires are bald. Explaining the difference between tires that are bald and slick is a lot of work. If you ride a 29er for street use, buy them. I got a pin flat after trying the Comps and using the K-guards.
👤I live in a city where the streets are in a poor state. The residents have begun celebrating birthdays and holidays with their neighborhood potholes adorned with banners, hats, and garlands to mark the occasion. There are now groups of people who fill in the potholes illegally to save the wheels of people who don't know how to drive. When I decided to put together a bike for my daily commute to work, this factored into my decision making. I wanted a tire that was wide enough to give me a good contact patch with the road, a tire that was sticky enough to keep me from sliding in corners that had been filled with gravel, and a tire that could take a beating. I did not consider the trade offs for what I wanted the tires to do when I looked at these tires. The tires are very heavy because they are wider. Very heavy. I am good at climbing hills on a bike, but it is difficult to get up some of the longer hills. I ride my mountain bike and road bike frequently. When compared to my Continental GP 4000sii tires or my set of tires on my mountain bike, these tires wear quicker. After 100 miles on the Thickslicks, those tires have started to go from a rounded shape to a square one. The last thing that's negative about these tires is that they're the hardest tires I've ever installed on a wheel. The wide profile and large white lettering on these tires look great. I have yet to get a flat with them despite riding on some very rough roads that I would not dare take my car down.
Sidewall protection is lightweight. The item's package height is 10. The package length is less than 4. The package width is less than the item.
👤I bought used tires for the Giant Defy 4 Road Bike and Continental Race 28 700x20-25c Bicycle Inner Tubes. The bicycle is very fast. The ride was jittery because of the old Gatorskin 23mm tires. The 25mm tires absorb the rough surface of the streets and make the ride very supple. I would not advise against puncture proof tubes. This is close to a tubeless setup without the price and tire-slip. Racing tires are too soft for street riding. The wire bead version of the tire is 315 grams, compared to the folding Gatorskins's 480 grams.
👤I don't have a lot of miles on these yet. There is a I think the rims I have are tubeless and designed to fit tires tightly. I have the same issue with other tires. I prefer not to use tire levers, but they are necessary. A little soapy water on the bead helps. I don't know how they'll last in the long run, I haven't put a lot of miles on them yet. They were thrown on my bike and I wanted a tire that was puncture resistant and comfortable for commute. There is a I've only used them on roads and bike paths. I ran them around 85-90 PSI with 700x32 My previous tires were 32mm, but with a lot thicker tread. These feel more responsive and lighter. They offer more grip because of the rubber compound used. Due to less tread, they are pretty quiet. There was no buzz or hum. I was surprised how much they improved my ride. The tires changed the ride more than I expected, even though they were supposed to be a little faster and more responsive. The ride feels more like a bike. I would definitely recommend them. I don't ride over broken glass, thorns, thumbtacks, or spike strips often, so I can't say much about the puncture resistance. I've had no problems so far. I put these on a Trek. A basic hybrid commuter, carbon fork, and basic groupset. I've been looking at the Trek Checkpoint. I'd like to put these tires on a gravel bike and do some group rides and climbs on the road.
👤Never buying from Movatik again. The GatorSkin tire is one of the best I have ever used. This is not the norm. I replaced the tube with a blow out after less than 100 miles on the tire. My back up tube "blew". The tire separated near the rim allowed the tube to "pinch out". I had to call support 42 miles into the ride to get a lift. I had to walk 2.5 miles in a heat index of 105+ to get to a road that was close to the paved bike path. They are waiting for the manufacturer to respond and send me a new tire. Their customer service was poor and their correspondence stopped responding the last time I purchased from Movatik.
👤Not going to lie. Thought they would be a little more difficult than they were. I need to replace the tires on my road bike because I have a route that I have ridden for years. I was swayed by the positive reviews and saw some mixed ones. The tires failed to perform. It seems that these tires don't hold up as well as I thought they would, and that's no different from the road conditions that I am aware of. I ordered a set of tires at a higher price point. Hope they hold up.
Repels humidity and protects it from the elements. It is made of iron and is practical for most bikes. The hub quick release lever is longer for the rear wheel. Short release lever for front wheel has a hollow shaft. The lever for the rear wheel has a hollow shaft size. You can use it to fix your mountain bike. It's the best choice for cyclists.
👤If I return the old one, I'll be off the road until a new one arrives, since I'm only 175 lbs. and an axle should never bend with such light use. It's better to pay more and do the job again.
👤Not the size that was advertised. It would be a 9mm axle. They don't fit in bike dropouts because they measure close to 9mm on the front and close to 9mm on the rear. Just ordered a new one. Hopefully this was a one off. The second set was the same size as the first and the races were bent as described by other reviewers. Unless you can not find any other set, I wouldn't buy these.
👤Today, it was installed. The 135mm dropout is the most common size. I can use the spacers from previous builds. I was lucky to get it adjusted to within. I decided to test ride it after installing the wheel back on the bike. I weigh about 200 lbs and am riding a bike casually up the street when I hear a rubbing sound and feel resistance pedaling. I inspect the bike on my bike stand after walking 200 feet home. I just installed a new axle and it was bent all the way until it hit the inside of the freewheel. I should have done that, but I saved myself some headaches by buying good axles.
👤I needed to remove the dust cover to swap out solid axels. I nicked the cone after tapping on the dust cover. The cone should not be soft. I hit the original cone to make sure it wouldn't nick. I hit it hard, but it didn't hestitate to hestitate. I used the old cones, but I had to use the axle. Hopefully it does not kill someone. I installed one of the cones from this set on another person's bike because the other ones were taking a long time to arrive. He had it on his bike for a while. I wanted to change it so there wouldn't be any issues. I wiggled the rim to see how it was after he stopped to talk. The cone was very badly warn when I removed the wheel to check it out. I replaced it with a better one. A good quality set of bamboo kitchen axels. The alta is junk soft metal. If you see any marks on the metal, hit the corner of a cone wrench. I use a lot of grease so it's not a lube problem.
👤You would think that you can go wrong, and perhaps I'm just unlucky. I received the parts in good time, but I couldn't get the rear wheel to spin right because of the rear skewer. I replaced and regreassed the ball bearings that had fallen out. I tinkered with it for a couple days, as the wheel was crooked and touching the frame. I pulled the axle out and it was bent. I checked the front and rear of the vehicle. The pro's to this product are obviously the price, and that's it, the material quality isn't great, the plastic on the locking lever after little use is starting to degrade, the springs on the skewer are fragile, and of course, the threads wanted to strip easily Not happy.
Carbon black mixture. The Gatorskin is as comfortable on the way to work as it is training for road races. PolyXBREAKER- The PolyX is highly resistant to any foreign body without reducing the rolling resistance because of the dense fabric and minimal space between threads. DURASKIN- The sidewall protects the tire's core from being cut under the worst conditions. It's important to wear a maximizedREAD. Adding a long service life is achieved by using the Gatorskin's wear maximized tread compound. Continental has been making tires in Germany since 1871, and has evolved with the most advanced technology.
👤I've been waiting to buy them for a year. It took me so long to make the leap because I justified the 80$ purchase. I bought a set of Hutchinson tires that had been reviewed by some bike magazines. I had my first flat in over a year after that purchase. I had black belted tires that came with my Allez. They cost 55 dollars a tire. I wanted a cheaper option. I ride 5000+ miles a year. That's over 100m a week. I'm very far from help. The 80$ price for the Gators was easily justified after having a flat. I gave these five stars because of the piece of mind. I watched a video comparing rolling resistance with other Continental tires after buying this. This tire has superior puncture. The harder shell makes the tire slower. I was lost at 1 to 2 mph. Being far from home and not having to worry about a flat as much makes me feel better about ridding far and is what earned these the 5 star from me. The loss gives me an excuse to get stronger. After Continental Grad Prix tires wear out, I will switch to them. They offer puncture protection, but are a faster tire. I bought the wire bead because they have a more robust side wall. I had a hard time getting these on. If you get the wire, be prepared for a fight because this tire is the hardest install of the bunch. I also bought new Continental tubes. The valve stem was lined up with the Continental logo. It's easy to locate the location of a puncture in a tire. I had an issue with shipping. I got a tire and one of the wires was bent. I was able to get it right by hand. Some reviewers were talking about the holes in the tires. I have them as well. They are hard to see in the picture I took. I discovered that these are wear indicators. The tires are done when you can't see the holes. Nice feature. I'm happy I jumped to this tire. I would use them again even though they have a small speed loss. I ride in the desert. I can't say how these hold up in the rain. They seem to hold up well in my climate. Take corners easy until you understand the limits of the tire. I have about 600m on these. I'm happy to report no flats yet. If you ride in urban areas, the harder Gator Hardshell tires are for you.
