It's for models of Schwinn and Instep trailer. Even when no trailer is connected, the black coating blends into your bike perfectly. Comes with a lock washer, a plate and a pin. When attached to the bike, the locks are securely in place and do not swing back and forth. It is easy to install on a quick-release bike.
👤I forgot to attach the coupler when I sold my bike. It's *duh*. The replacement works like a charm. Well made, strong, and doesn't seem to rust. Bon voyage!
👤It was exactly what I needed. It was easy to install. A friend gave me a bike trailer. This piece was missing. My 2 year old can ride a bike with me.
Hitch, tow arm and safety flag are included in Ready To Bike. The harness system has five points. A full internal aluminum roll cage is needed for protection. Wheel guards are used to protect against unforeseen obstacles. Passive suspension is provided by the hammock style seat. The seat fabric is water resistant and the cover is water resistant. The Tow Bar converts an ordinary child's bike into a safe, towable bike trailer. The child's bike can be attached or disconnected without tools once the bar is installed. Adult must weigh at least twice as much as the child rider for children with a maximum weight of 70.5 pounds. The tire size for children's bikes is 12- to 20-inch. There are accessories available.
👤When it arrived, mine was missing hardware. I purchased the quick release pin and a few other parts separately, and Amazon gave me a discount, so I will not let that affect my review, but it's worth noting that installation takes for ever. I'm a competent weekend warrior mechanic, but this took me a couple hours to get the Torque specs right. Common sense eventually becomes coherent if you use it. There is a The idea behind the product is brilliant. One of the few that will allow your child to ride his/her bike and then connect them when they get tired is this one. I didn't want a Follow-Me product because they couldn't ride their own. Love the idea, but it's a little flimsy and cheap. The part that connects the child's bike frame to it was the subject of a lot of complaints. I stuck the rubber pieces under and Torqued them to spec with a Torque wrench. Many complain about the leaning issue, but I have it. If you change the seat post connection piece's rotation, you should be able to eliminate the lean. I have had little luck after changing jobs. I'll give it a try again, but I think it's just a matter of fact. My 3 year old and 5 year old boys love riding behind me. They had a blast taking this on the Peddlers' Jamboree in Iowa. The lean makes steering a little awkward for the parent. I hit the gravel because my kids were leaning back and forth. They didn't complain about it being uncomfortable. The lighter child is less pronounced. It's easy to switch from towing to riding. You can switch in 2 min flat if you unbutton a few quick release pins. No problem. I'm impressed with how easy it is and how well it stays on my bike when not in use. We're keeping it. It's not the best, but fun and works well.
👤My daughter is not ready to ride a bike yet, so I purchased this product to bridge the gap. We would only use the tandem for a short period of time and have to get rid of it. It works well if the child can balance themselves on their own, but if they are still training wheel dependent, it is very dangerous. The whole system sways when they lean to one side or the other. If you're trying to ride on the street. If your child is capable of riding a bike but you don't want them going on rides with you in the city, this might be a good option. It is possible if you are riding on an isolated bike trail. I wouldn't recommend it if cars were present, because the child wouldn't be able to ride on their own.
👤This review is only for people who want to tow another bike. I was searching high and low for something that would allow me to take my daughter's bike to school, so I don't have to leave the bike at school. This is the only thing that allows me to do that, and it does it perfectly. I have used this several times a week for 2 years on 2 different bikes. There is a The packaging was not good. The box was destroyed and pieces were missing that I had to replace from the hardware store. The reason for the 1-star deduction is this. There is a It's been great once I got over that. It's everything I wanted.
The front-mounted bike seat is easy to remove and install. It's applicable to Mountain Bikes, Road Bikes and Electric Bikes. The included 1-Wheel Stroller Kit enhances use with a quick transition from biking to strolling out of the box. The suspension keeps the kids comfortable. Push button wheels are easy to install and remove. When folded forward, the heightadjustable handlebar is an additional roll bar. Adding protection to wet conditions is provided by water-resistant cover and zippers. The rear window has a vent. Passengers are protected from harmful UV rays.
👤We have a 1.5 year old. We used to ride our bikes along the lake front before she was born. Over the past year and a half, we have had to use a stroller to walk the lake front trail. No more! There is a I compared the attached seat approach to the dedicated bike trailer when researching options for biking with a toddler. The bike trailer is the safer option due to the child's shorter distance from the ground, according to Consumer Reports. I liked the idea of detaching the stroller from the trailer and riding with it. It was perfect for our lifestyle. The biggest questions were price, size and brand. I researched the different tiers of trailers and settled on the Encore X. After some time, it was apparent that Thule and Burley were the biggest players in this industry. The theme was "you get what you pay for" after comparing the different models and reading articles. It took a few days for me to stop thinking about how much I would be spending on one of these. I had to make a decision on whether to get a 1 or a 2-seater. The price point, the 2-seat option, and the stroller function made the Encore X 888-282-0465. We took the stroller out with our daughter for 3 excursions. All three times it was wonderful. During the Pride Parade, we went. We went to the zoo to get away from the crowds. It was a nightmare. Public transportation was backed up. The bike trail was almost empty. We loaded up the trailer with a small cooler for snacks and then we went to the zoo. The bike ride was easy. After we got to the zoo, we put the bikes in the trailer and walked around the zoo in stroller mode. My daughter was content the whole time. After the zoo, we attached the trailer to the bikes and rode home. The sudden rain gave us a chance to use the rain shield, and I'm happy to report that our daughter stayed dry. The article gave this a 5. I have not experienced the handle bar issue. It stays put. If it's a hot day, you can lift the back flap up completely, and if it's raining, you've got other problems. We like this thing. It's worth the price of admission.
👤Everything about this trailer is great. It's very strong. The materials are of the highest quality. The person on the bike and the kids in the trailer can enjoy a smooth ride. The only complaint I have is the poor air flow. When air is forced through the trailer, the rear plastic window pops open. While riding slowly through areas with little to no wind, the air inside becomes stagnant and warms up very quickly. Especially with two kids. Our current weather in Southern California is in the mid to high 70's. We rode our bikes to lunch. Was it a 10 minute ride? The wind was blowing at our backs. Both of my kids were sweating when we got back. There is a The only way to get a rear zip up plastic cover is to pay an extra $200 for the top end model. That's not going to happen. I'm trying to figure out if I can mount a battery operated fan. If that doesn't work out, I'll have to return this and find another brand.
We can't guarantee compatibility with other trailers than the Retrospec Rover trailers. It works with almost all bikes and all Schwinn and InStep brand trailers. There are vertical and horizontal holes on the trailer, so it works for you. The instructions and pictures in the package are easy to follow. Your kids will enjoy the bike ride with the additional trailer attachment, it allows both Mom and Dad's bikes to be used to tow the kids trailer. You can strap him next to your bike when he gets tired from riding. The outer diameter of the part that you attach to the bike is 1 inch, while the hole is 1/2 inch. The diameter of the hole is 1 inch.
👤These are better than the ones that come with the trailers, as they have 2 sets of holes that you can use. The old style mount and new style mount are compatible with them. There is a I have an old and a new instep. The old mounts have a 90 degree angle which makes them bend when you go straight. There is a The new one has a tube that comes off at an angle. When riding straight, this doesn't put Torque in the spring. There is a The old trailer would work on the new mount, but the new trailer wouldn't. There is a The old mount has a pin that is 90 degrees off from the new mount so you can't mix and match. I updated all of my bikes to use the new mount, and I think both trailers have the same design. There is a The pin latch design makes it easier to unlatch.
👤My son used the Schwinn bike trailer with these couplers. We wanted extras so we could pull the trailer quickly and easily. The couplers seem to be sturdy. They fit our bikes and trailer without any problems.
👤I was able to get this to work with the Jetson Bolt Pro and the Jupiter Discovery X5 because of the large hole for the coupler. It worked with two different Instep trailers.
👤The carrier does not allow it to slip on and off smoothly, but it did fit on the bike great. I have to use a mallet to get it in and out.
👤The one shipped with trailer work was perfect and did not need to be adjusted.
👤The equipment that came with the cart was good.
👤They are easy to put on the bike. We put the part on in the position we wanted after removing the one bolt.
👤After my primary bike was stolen, I couldn't get around with my son on my secondary bike. I can now.
A stroller, jogger, bike trailer, and ski pulk are all in one. The kit includes strolling and biking. It is easy to transport and store. One-handed recline for naps on the go. The suspension is adjusted to ensure a smooth ride. It is easy to remove and clean padded seats. Cargo space can be stored away to increase kick stride.
👤I was surprised to find out that it is not the Chariot Sport, but the Chariot Cross, on the Amazon page.
👤The front tires are terrible. They are hard plastic. The tires should be more useful than the jogging kit. It is not a smooth ride and we don't want to take it for a stroll.
👤I didn't assemble it, my husband did, but he didn't curse and was not distressed. Overall, it is great. I find jogging with a front wheel harder to maneuver. It is harder but not impossible. When the front wheel turns it is easier to carry a stroller. It is fixed for safety reasons. We are very happy. It is being used for biking all the time. Our son is three and a half years old. When we bought it, we are regretting not doing it earlier because of the price, but we were debating for awhile to buy it or not because of the price. After having a baby, we could become active.
👤It is a vehicle. I would expect the same thing from a product purchased from the Thule store on Amazon. The child trailer is top of the line. The kid trailer is the flagship. It has everything you need or want. It was easy to set up. It is easy to convert from trailer to stroller. This is the best buy if you want a jogger but don't have a stroller. It is a great stroller. All terrain is durable. Good looking and rugged. There is a wind screen, sun shade, and bug screen. Vents for air flow too. This is a great buy and worth every single penny. I did my research here. It's my child, but it's a bit pricey. What is his safety worth?
👤Love this. Has many uses. I find it useful to keep kids safe from germs.
👤I have used it for biking a few times. I don't feel the weight of it at all. I don't like how my 9-month old gets dirt all over her even with the net up. It stops dirt, but it still gets in. I haven't tried running with it yet. I'm afraid that it won't be possible with the back storage filled with stuff. There is no other storage in the area. I have to take bottle, diapers, and other things while running for a long period of time. Maybe when she's older. It's very easy to install and store in a sedan.
US stock and free shipping are included. Delivery from their US warehouse is fast. Wayclound is a professional team. Please contact them if you have any questions about the product. They will be open 24 hours a day. Environmentally friendly materials. Leather cushion, STAINLESS steel pipe, soft armrest, Breathable mesh fence, made of a sponge. It is safe to use. safety Children are safe and comfortable when riding, and installation tools and safety belts ensure the safety of children. More stable, firm, safe, thickened and widened cushions for baby sitting. The maximum load depends on the size of the bicycle. It's easy to install. It is possible to install and remove seats for all kinds of bicycles, such as mountain bikes, electric cars, etc. Important Parameters The seat width is 13in and the height is 7in. The backrest is 12in. The width and length of the rear frame of the bicycle must be greater than 25 cm. Child bicycle seats can be used on most bicycles.
👤I was not expecting it to be the best seat. I was expecting better than this. There is a hole in the back rest, there are several rust spots, and the seat cushion has a terrible texture that makes me think the metal is rotting on the other side. There is almost no padding. We will have to pad it ourselves. The seat on the bike is not welded straight. The frame of our bikes is not visible. It's good enough. The fat tire bikes have a built in rear rack. We couldn't find a seat that fit our bikes. Our boys have seen the seats and are not going back. $60 is a rip off, but it's easier to make one yourself.
👤I didn't get it put together until I returned it. The holes didn't align, there wasn't any cushion, and the main attachment points looked like they were tack welded. My child was being held onto the bicycle by questionable welds that I could not trust. Not worth the risk. I could easily return it.
👤The seat belt is not as strong as it looks.
👤The review was edited. A car hit me and my daughter while we were on my bike. My daughter hit the floor with my bike. My daughter was completely protected by the frame work. She only came out with an injured elbow, she was wearing helmet and pads. It did the job it was supposed to do. I purchased a seatbelt after buying a mine that didn't have one. She would have flown out with a lot more damage if the belt hadn't been there. The frame work served its purpose. It is a nice seat. I got it for my toddler when we were on my bike. It says it comes with a seat belt. I did not receive one in the package. I had to buy one.
The type of sport is outdoors. Storage space for cargo. Two children are comfortably seated. Storage and transporting can be done with a compact fold. There are mesh and wind screens for comfort. International safety standards are met. The maximum trailer weight capacity is 100 pounds. The folded dimensions are 37 x 30 x 11.
👤I feel that this sale is a fair price. The quality is very good and the mount is very easy. The trailer handles well in tight turns. The seating position makes my 1 1/2 year old son very uncomfortable. If your child is wearing a helmet, the backing of the seat can cause his head to lean forward. If you use this for one child instead of two, he would lean over to one side no matter how tight the straps were. It might be better with two children. I sold mine and bought a better one from him. My son wanted out after 30 minutes. The Burley takes 1 and a half hours to complete. He was angry that we stopped. The Burley made more sense for one kid.
👤I've had this trailer for close to two years now and I've traveled a couple hundred miles on it. I only have a 2.5 year old son in it, but I want to see how the trailer handles the weight, so I have loaded it up with a 90lb bag to see. It felt the same without the extra pedaling force. The tires absorb bumps very well. You don't need to air them up like road bike tires. There is a The seating position is good, but I put a thick blanket under the seat to support it. My son was in the seat and it looked uncomfortable. A wooden board and blanket would be a better option. It seems to be a common complaint with the trailers, based on the reviews I've read. There is a The flag on the trailer is a nice touch, it is bright green and people can see you. I added blinking lights to the trailer to make it more cautious. There is a The trailer is very heavy. The piece of heavy steel that holds the bike's brackets is solid. I didn't have to worry about mounting the hub to my road bike. My skewers and axles are long enough to fit my fatbike rear hub, but it isn't long enough. There is a It's a decent trailer for the money.
👤I was worried about the bike trailer. Proper ventilation was important to me, I live in Florida. I like that the plastic flap can be put down in a rainstorm and that this trailor has plenty of air. The trailor is very quick. I was a little hesitant about bouncing my toddler off the sidewalk, but I've been pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to pull. My son is 38 lbs and he's easy to pull in. It is easy to take apart for storage. If you fold the wheels down, they pop off easily. It's not hard to take it to another town and ride a bike. I feel like my little guy is safe and secure now that he loves going for bike rides.
The seat post makes it easy to adjust the height. It's safe. The baby seat on the bike is safe to use. The seat belt buckle could not be accidentally released by kids. Please wear a kid helmet. Not included in the deal. COMPATIBILITY: The seat can be mounted from the bike in seconds, but not for dual suspension bikes, beach cruisers, or front derailleur pull from the top. The front seat has a seat. The baby seat is sitting at the front of the bike, which might make someone feel uncomfortable. They recommend that you think about this point before making a purchase. It is easy to use for children from 9 months to 3 years old. All accessories are included. It is easy to remove without tools. The video is in the listing. You can order now and pay free. They can provide a life time warranty for their product.
👤I've never written a review for anything. I wrote one for this product after I was asked by the 100th person in my town to buy a baby bikeseat. I haven't seen anyone with this type of bike seat for their child. I live in a college town with around 10k students and a 30k population. I have ridden every inch of our town with my youngest. I always have him in a helmet. I would recommend you do the same, this picture was just a photo opp, I will get to that later. I have been riding my son in this seat since he was around 11 months old and I would have done it sooner if I had gotten the seat sooner. The seat is rated at 32 pounds and my son is 22 pounds. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 200 pounds, so I have the seat mounted on my Trek mountain bike. The assembly took about 15 minutes and there are some videos on the internet if you need them. I don't have a problem keeping up with my two teenagers and the little one in this seat. I have to keep my legs a little wider for my size. There is a This seat was very useful at both baseball and softball games this summer. I saw a lot of parents trying to keep their baby entertained while it was hot. I had my son in this seat and we would watch the game for a bit, then do a few laps around the ball park, and then pull up to the fence to watch the game again. I would hear someone say "I need to get a seat like that" at least five or 10 times a day. Also back to the helmet. While I'm totally confident in my ability to ride mountain bikes, I did have one time when I was stopped, and turned the front wheel to go into a part on a sidewalk, but the wheel stuck wrong, and the bike went over in a split second. He was ok because this seat has his arms to his sides and the outer shell protects there, his legs/ feet were strapped in, and he was protected in the event of an accident. He was fine. I feel very safe with this seat on a bike, it's much safer than a seat behind me, I can't see it or a good center of gravity. There is a I would give this product 6 stars, but I would not say it would allow it. You need to get this seat if you're reading this or thinking about it. In a day and age where parents and kids spend a lot of time on tablets, phones and using technology, it's important to get outside and exercise. The best memories of the summer were riding the bike with the kids.
👤We bought this to use with our 2 year old until our 4 month old is big enough to use it. There is a There isn't enough room for the adult to pedal normally. I have to pedal with my legs out. After a short ride, my hip flexors were on fire. I lean over to hold onto the steering wheel as my helmet hits my chest. His head is being pushed forward. He was ok with it, but it was annoying to me. For the price, I really wanted to like this kids bike seat, but it just doesn't work for someone my size on a standard mountain bike. I haven't tried to mount it to my wife's bike because it doesn't work for me, and I'm not entirely sure how well it would mount on women's bikes or bikes without horizontal frame bar on top. We are going to try iBert Safe-T-Seat after returning this one. There is a It's easy to install and it's good overall support for the child and seems to keep them safe. There is not enough room to pedal normally, not able to adjust forward anymore, and the harness is kind of clumsy and would have been better if it had more clips for easier on and off.
The stroller wheel folds up out of the way when cycling. It's easy to switch from bike to stroll mode. The tow bar is easy to maneuver. The stroller wheel pushes. It is compatible with the following: 2007-Current Honey bee, 2007-Current Encore, 2019-Current Encore x, solo, d 'lite single, 2004-Current d 'lite, and 2008 The stroller wheel attachment and wrist tether are included.
👤The burley bee can be turned into a double stroller. They want you to spend the money on the more expensive version of the same thing even though they say it can't be done. It can be done. The wheel works. You can add a handle of your own. This is a lot of money for a wheel. They know how to get you, but it is worth it to have two functions for the expensive bike trailer when you aren't riding your bike everywhere.
👤The product works well for its intended purpose. It's not great for jogging and may not be allowed in common theme parks due to protruding out too much. People are too busy with their phones and selfies to pay attention to the road. This will not be allowed in Disney theme parks. They make a two wheel stroller only version that can be used in some theme parks.
👤I have used this wheel attachment on my pet trailer for over a year. The kickstand that I replaced broke after a few uses. The wheel has been used many times and has held up well. Since I pulled it out of the box, I've only had one complaint: the weight. I don't know the exact weight of the wheel, but I think it's about 2 pounds. It is heavier than the side wheels on the trailer. When I pulled it out of the box, I thought it would last the trailer. I use my trailer on every bike ride, and also use it in stroller mode for grocery shopping, camping, getting to church or appointments, and a lot more. I only ride on paved roads/trails, or hard packed dirt roads, and push it in stroller mode on sidewalks that are not always even. I don't have to push the wheel over the rise in the sidewalk or the curb because it's easy to roll over, and I don't have to tip the trailer back to get over the rise. The weight of the wheel does offer a noticeable weight difference which was noticed on my first ride, but I quickly got use to the weight. It's easy to install and remove the wheel, it doesn't require tools, and I remove it if I'm running behind. I want to increase my speed by getting rid of a bit of weight from my bike. I convert the trailer into a stroller at my destination so my service dog has a place to rest when camping. When my service dog is hopping in and out of the trailer, she wasn't a fan of the amount of movement in the kickstand, but when I locked the wheels, she was happy. The weight is the only con I have for this wheel. I would seriously consider replacing my current stroller wheel with a lighter version if it were available. Pros... It's easy to install and remove when the trailer is being towed. Would I buy this again? If there is a lightweight version available, I would buy this stroller wheel attatchment for my current TailWagon or any other compatible trailer. If you can handle the weight, this wheel is worth every penny, even if you don't use it for a while.
Works with dog leashes, dog carriers, strollers, and bicycle carriers. Installation is easy with the ezHitch mount. Safety features are approved by the industry. The kit includes a Hitch Arm, Quick Release Skewer, Hitch Cup, Safety Flag, Kit Reflector and Backup Strap. Only compatible with: Thule Chariot Cougar 1 and 2.
👤I contacted thule to see if this item would work for my stroller, and was told that it would. The bike attachment is going into a square hole. I will have to go through the hassle of returning the item. It's not possible to do work for Charoit Cogar One.
👤This kit is part number 20100506 and will not work with the Chinook line of Chariot carriers. The website of Thule seems to be a little unclear on this. Continue reading if you have a Cougar. There is a The hitch for your bicycle is built with this kit in mind. It's not going to fall apart after a few miles. It's designed to serve serious riders well. There are two parts. The end of a bicycle. The hitch is mounted on the left side of the bike. Installation is easy if your bike has a quick release skewer. You just need to install the hitch cup under the nut if you don't. It went well, I have the latter. There are two more The hitch arm is very strong. The hitch arm snaps into a brackets on the side of some carrier models, giving you a lot of flexibility when not in use. The stroller kit wheels are stored upside down in the VersaWing brackets. The hitch arm fits into the hitch. You can have a stroller if you replace the stroller wheels and put the hitch arm on the side of the carrier. Very nice. There is a The kit has a flag and reflectors to make you nice and legal. The safety straps on each side of the hitch keep everything together if the connection fails. The ball and sockets design of the hitch makes it more flexible to use. It means that you can lean into corners without fear of the trailer tipping over. The hitch is on the left side so you can't do a right turn. The entire shebang is a smooth ride compared to other trailers. There is a As for your towing rig. The Chariots are usually in the 30s to the 40s before you put your kid and other cargo in it. The average weight of the trailer for most people will be at least 70 lbs, more if you have two child carriers. You need to pay attention to your bike and make sure you're set up for the different handling characteristics you'll have. I'm using an old mountain bike to tow this rig, it has a wide gear range and heavy-duty brakes. A light touring/road bike may need some brake upgrades to make it safer to pull it. You will have increased stopping distances, and I've already mentioned the turning issues, which thin touring tires may have some issue with, but YMMV of course. It's easy to drop money on a trailer, but you have to consider your ride. If you already own a Chariot carrier, this kit is a no-brainer. If you're thinking about converting a chariot to a bike trailer, this kit will give you the best-in-class performance.

👤It's perfect for my dog who had a stroke. He likes riding with me.
👤Having a spare to leave on wife's bike is a big help. You can switch the trailer between bikes at any time. If there are flats, hang back and get the kid home. This is a victory.
