The weight is 0.021 Ib. The most recent reviews of the upgraded version of the safety glass lens should be checked. The body is impact resistant. Drop bars and flat handlebars can be used. Universal design for left and right; 4mm key. The silver and blue lens have anti-glare coefficients of 50% and 75%, respectively.
👤The mount has a weak spot where the Meachow mirror is. The mirror broke off. I have a mirror from Amazon that has a ball joint on the mount and it wouldn't have been a problem.
👤The description on the website called it a flat lens. It is not straight. I need a mirror that is flat. A bug zapper is reflected in several bar-end mount cycling mirrors. Three of the five mirrors were supposed to be flat, one was sold as convex, and one did not say so. There are five of them, the first one is at 1:00, the second one is at 3:00, the third one is at 4:00, and the fourth one is at 5:00. The tennis racquet is large in the flat mirror and smaller in the other four, which shows the various amounts of curvature. The mount on the mirror is flimsy and shakes when the bike is moving, so it is not a good idea. I found fourMirrcycle bar-end mirrors, but there are no bar-end mount, flat mirrors worth buying on Amazon. Someone would want to fill that niche.
👤It's a great mirror, it's large enough to see traffic but not hit anything, and it's crystal clear. The plastic pivot will snap off easily. I'm trying to glue it back on, but I don't think it will hold up. It was necessary to look for a different mirror.
👤It's ok. I put it on a road bike. It's hard to see in that position. The glass is clear but you can't see it, so you have to look down and focus for a few seconds. It is knocked out of position easily and requires frequent adjustment. I only use it if I hear something coming up behind me and need to check it out. It's good enough for that.
👤The mirror is nice. I ordered rattled and kept slipping out of adjustment. I sent a message to the seller expecting nothing. They were quick to respond and sent another way past the return window. I'm using the new one on a gravel bike with plenty of knock-around sections and it's fine.
👤The small mirror makes it hard to see well. The mirror's angle and articulation is not good, I tried to turn the mirror around by removing the screw.
👤I paid a little more for this over the longer mirror. The pivot point on the mirror isn't adjusted, which is annoying. The mirror has loose contact with the lens.
👤Works well! It took a bit of tinkering to get the adjustments to be loose enough to allow me to make occasional adjustments. It works well. There were no complaints after a month of use.
The silver and blue lens have anti-glare coefficients of 50% and 75%, respectively. Car used safe glass lens has anti-glare coating. The body is impact resistant. High strength aluminum alloy. Flat handlebars outer diameter 22.2mm;hex key 4mm; recommend 2Nm Torque! Only one side. The silver and blue lens have anti-glare coefficients of 50% and 75%, respectively.
👤I ride a bike. The bike can go very fast, which made it important to have a mirror. I tried a lot of mirrors, but they either didn't work with the handlebars, or they shook too much while riding. The mirror wouldn't stay put with the wind. They didn't let me see behind them. I have had a mirror for a while and have ridden a lot. It's easy to change, the mirror stays where you angle it, and it works. There is a It's easy to install. I didn't have to remove anything.
👤I'm giving this mirror a tentative 5 stars because I'm loving it. After installing it, I went for a bike ride in Nashville, Tennessee. I had to find a replacement for a 4mm allen wrench after about 5 minutes of installation. In a second, more on that. I put it on my Schwinn Capital, a fine, all purpose, not-too-expensive bike, and it made it Left-wise. I was able to scoot the left mirror all the way left before it ran into the control. It was correct in that position. I was able to tilt the mirror a bit to adjust it. There is a I like the display. It's wide enough to see. There is a So, any negatives? Not really... Is it possible to include a 4mm allen wrench with the mirror for non-bike guys? I don't have tools with me. These might be worth including a spare. There is a I'm a little nervous about this. The threaded piece of plastic is used to hold the allen screw in place. I'm worried that it will loosen and eventually strip. Hopefully not... I'm not going to move it a lot. We'll see. I'm quite happy with it.
👤The mirror is easy to attach and the blue glass works well.
👤The mirror mounts to the handle bar with a low profile. I bought the blue version because I thought it would help mitigate the sun glare. It's difficult to see vehicles coming and how close they are due to the tint.
👤This is a mirror. There were many mixed feelings. I have two kids that are just learning to ride. I wanted a mirror to see behind me when I was in front of the older one. I've tried a lot of mirrors. The mirrors are either bad or they are moving out of position, and this is in addition to them looking ridiculous. I arrived at the mirror. I'd been eyeing it for a while, but it looked a little strange in the pics in comparison, and the price was just too big to justify a bike mirror. Here I am. I ordered a single mirror for the left side. I thought this is it. Let's get their best model. There is a The mirror was easy to install and had a solid clamp with a single bolt. The bolt takes the same size as most of the bike accessories, but requires a key not included. It took me 30 seconds to position the bolt and screw it back down. The arm goes up. I tried to find the best position by angling the arm lightly forward, but the mirror was at the best position. There is a The arm is a single solid piece that doesn't move at all, and as a result it gives the mirror good structure and is a key reason it works well. The mirror is held on to the arm with a ball joint, so you can position the angle in any direction. The mirror is so easy to move that I was sure it would keep moving. The mirror has stayed put in my rides so far. There is a The mirror is like a rear-view mirror in a car and it gives you a much wider field of vision than those round bike mirrors. The blue mirror was great. The blue cut down on glare making the image even better. I'm using the mirror and it's not vibrating. The wide-field of vision view along with the anti-glare mirror was better than any other bike mirror. There is a I was worried that the product was going to be large and strange. It isn't so in person. The arm and mirror are not nearly as large or obtrusive as they looked in the pictures. The bottom of the mirror was close to the top of my hand, which was perfect. The overall appearance was cool. This was the best bike mirror I tried and it was far and away the best. The mirror is A+ in quality, look, and feel. There is a I have to discuss the two drawbacks of this mirror. The arm is fixed and doesn't move so it has good structure. My gear shift mechanism is mounted right next to the handle, which made this an issue for me. The mirror had to be on the inside of the mechanism. The arm is fixed in position, so when the mirror fell past the handle, it ended up above the handle. I see a clear reflection of my arm when I look in the mirror. The only way to see behind me is to take my hand off the handlebars, because my forearm takes up 50% of the mirror image. It's easy to do, but annoying when I keep looking behind me. The only real option is to mount the gear shifts further in, which will ruin the positioning of it in relation to my fingers. Not optimal. I get the usefulness in avoiding situations like this, even though the mirrors with the bendy arms look bad. There is a The price is the other downside of this mirror. $29? Are you serious? Wait... I said that this was the best looking mirror out there. I did. $30 for one bike mirror? Most bike mirrors are only $15 for a two-pack. I bought a metal-cased 8-port switch from Netgear for $19. I just bought a waterproof smart plug for $24. I just bought a 15ft propane hose for only $28. So $29 for a single mirror? There is no way to get around it. It's way over-priced. I like the mirror, but I also feel annoyed and angry towards Meachow. The non-tinted at $24 for 1 is way overpriced. If it was $30 for a 2-pack. I would have been okay with it if it was $40 for a 2-pack. Are the plastic bike mirrors worth nearly $60? No. The Crystal clear anti-glare wide-field-of-vision mirror is a great quality, top-notch looks, and is better than every other mirror I tried. Depending on your bike, it may be positioning issues.
The mount is easy to install. It comes with a set of brightly colored butterfly bands. The UNBREAKABLE STEEL LENS are perfect for bikes. The wide range hitting is. Open ended grips or chisels are used for the inside diameter of the handlebar. It doesn't work for Trek grips. There is a reason for this. The Universal Design can be installed on both the left and right side of the handlebars. All types of bikes are available. Installation requires a 5mm key. The products were made in Taiwan and have been tested to make sure they are safe to use.
👤This is the first review. I like it. I was hesitant to cut a hole in my grip, but it turned out to be no big deal. I pushed it through after cutting it small. The plastic coller could break off if you are careful. When you tighten it, the coller expands to fit the bar. Don't over tighten, it's a no brainer. It's made of plastic and could break. I positioned mine so I could turn it in when I wanted. The mount was positioned so the mirror was closer to me. It is a great mirror. You won't be sorry with this one if you consider its limitations.
👤The bike mirror is not perfect. A combination of bar-end mirror and a helmet/glasses mounted mirror is the ideal setup, according to my opinion. I can see my quads as I pedal. It looks like I have some quads if the light is right. There is a I can see my quads as I pedal. It reminds me that I'm not going to have those big legs. There is a A quick glance downward gives a quick check of traffic. There is a There is a CON: It's not as easy to pick out vehicles when you have a mirror closer to the road. There is a A quick glance downward is all it takes. There is a There is a CON: You aren't looking ahead if you are looking down. This will probably improve with time. There is a I don't have to crane my neck to see the mirror when I ride in the drops. The main reason I bought this mirror was the neck issue. There is a There is a CON: The mirror is not useful when standing. The helmet mirror works. There is a The image shakes due to the road surface vibrating. The same thing happens with helmet-mounted. There is a The mirrors I got were not as bad as some other reviews said. The field of view is great. There is a I tightened the adjusting screw after four rides so that the mirror wouldn't shift when I hit a road hazard. It was annoying. There is a Amazon wrapped a piece of cardboard around the individual boxes of the mirrors. The mounting screws were lost when they got here. It took a week to get a replacement screw, but the seller was very responsive. I'm not used to having something at the end of the bar, and a minor hip injury at a traffic stop makes the mirror move.
👤I followed the advice of a well-respected fellow cyclist and ordered and installed a mirror. I can tell that my bike's coolness decreased. I took it out the next day for a 50-mile tour ride. I realized my safety has increased many times over. I can now see my lane and the one next to it without having to crane my head. I was able to see cars coming up and knowing when they were about to pass me with the help of my radar. If you don't look back, you won't know if the car is on the next lane or about to hit you. I think it will take a bit of time to get used to the mirror. I took one star off because I had to adjust the screw several times as it hit my leg when I got off the saddle. The view behind the mirror is very good, even though you can't see it on the rough roads. I am testing several more mirrors before I make a decision. I'm pretty sure this will be the one I keep, at least for one of my bikes. There is a Oh yes. My friend said I looked cool, but I think I looked a bit uncool. I will look cool, but I will be safer on the roads. Any small amount does count. I will never have a mirror again.
The product has a 12 months warranty. Please contact them first if you have any questions. They can help you solve the problem. The handlebar is mirror style.
👤This is my third mirror. I have two bikes with one on them and they have been good products. I ordered a new one after breaking one in a crash. I started a ride without checking it. I thought I was having eye issues when I first looked at it. I couldn't see anything behind me, a very narrow field of view, double images, and everything out of focus. I swapped the mirror on my other bike for the one I used after my ride. I received a new mirror and it appears to have the wrong glass. It is not as flat as it should be. The mirror is useless. I don't know if this is a new design or a quality control issue, but be careful if you order.
👤Over the past several years, I have had six or more of these, and they have been great. The best mirror I've found. A large size, small shape, and glass mirror give a bike mirror a clean image with no distortion. The mirror is completely different for my most recent purchase. It's either flat or slightly curved. It is not usable as a bike mirror. This will give you a very narrow field of view and it will amplify the mirror's sound as you ride. This most recent version was very disappointing. They must have made a poor design change or this is a counterfeit version.
👤I love this robe. I bought a second one for my road bike after I put one on my Trek hybrid. Being a truck driver, I place a lot of importance on mirrors. There is a The quality of the glass is very important to me. There is a This mirror is better than any other I've tried. On the straight handbars, it is located very well, and sits out from the end of the bar grip, so my hands don't interfere. I didn't think I'd like it on the road bike because the mirror would end up there. There is a I bought a road bike with a small streamlined mirror, but I didn't like how small it was. It was difficult to see what was behind you, how close it was, and how fast it was coming. There is a I bought a bigger mirror and set it out to the side of the bar, but it got in the way of my hands as I was descending the bar. There is a I took the mirror off my hybrid out of desperation because I needed something for a ride that day. There is a If I'm keeping my elbow in a tight place, my forearm won't block the mirror. It's nice to have a good size to see what's coming and how far behind me it is. For a good view, stable. It is easy to mount and comes with two sizes of rubber inserts. You choose which size best fits the inside of your bar end, tighten it up a little, then push it all the way in, so that it slides in fully, but with a little resistance. There is a You need to make sure you tighten it completely or it will shake when you are on bumpy roads. I noticed that some reviews mentioned falling out. It needs to be tightened completely.
This bicycle phone holder is compatible with all sizes of phones. The mirror is made of black plastic and can be adjusted. They can use it for most Mountain bike Handlebar. The install tool follows. The package is called the mirror package. There is a suitable handlebar diameter from 0.87-1.26 inch. They suggest 0.87-1.05inch, which will be better. The mirror support tube is plastic with aluminum and can be bent for what you want. Customer can return after sale and get a refund. You have no risk in trying to purchase.
👤The mounting system is very easy to use. There are two different sets of bolts for different size bicycle bars and a small Allen key wrench included. Bolts seem to be of good quality and will not rust quickly or ever. I put this on my Profile Design Aero Bar. I used a strip of old inner tube wrapped around the bar to fit on the mirror clamp to'shim' under the mounting clamp as this gives a better fit for holding in place without over tightening. The mirror is acceptable. If someone can't see a car approaching behind them, they have vision issues, not mirror issues. The design of the mirror is attractive, but the size of the mirror is about the size of a hardball baseball, which is a pity. The metal covered flexible shaft is good for bending to adjust and hold in place. Some reviews said that the image in the mirror was vibrating. It is not a problem. The mirror was detached from the frame when it arrived. The mirror is held into the frame by flexing it to be more spherical and then attaching the edges to the frame with little peg protrusions. When one releases the plastic, the mirror stays attached to the 3 frame pegs. This doesn't work. I put a drop of "Original Super Glue" on top of the little peg protrusions and glue the mirror into the frame. I did this in a way that didn't damage the mirror's look and didn't detract from it. The plastic materials on a child's bike would break very quickly, and it was a little fragile. I don't think the fragileness of the plastic is a problem for an adult. The problem is that one tends to adjust the mirror by twisting or bending the flexible extension between the mirror and the handlebars. I think this would break the mirror plastic off the flexible shaft or the handlebar mount, which is cheap and brittle. When adjusting the mirror by twisting or bending the shaft, the solution is to always remember to hold the flexible shaft. This works well. I bought another one for my bike. I only used this mirror for a week, so if it explodes or something, I will change this review.
👤I bought this for my wife. Works well. Even though we have flat type handlebars, I can see past my arm because it reaches far. People complain about how hard it is to install. My first attempt didn't go well, but I remembered the old trick my dad taught me. Put a wade of paper in the nut holes on the bottom brackets to hold them in place. Assembly went pretty easy after that, because that did it for me. It's good for the size of the mirror.
👤It fit perfectly. It was what I wanted.
👤Sturdy construction is the good. It's easy to mount. There is a The bad. The mirror is too small. I couldn't make out my wife riding the bike behind me. There is a Cars and trucks are too small. You might not take the danger seriously. Would not buy again. It was too much of a hassle to come back.
Before using the bicycle rear view mirror 2pack please remove the protective film. To install the screw to the bicycle handlebars, use a wrench and tighten it. The chrome glass eliminates the majority of glare in the normal environment. The joint ball and mirror arm provide adjustments in multiple angles. You will find the perfect angle to make your ride safer. The 180 swirl at the ball joint allows you to park without hitting objects. Only the left side and wide range. The fit is for the inside diameter of the handlebar. It doesn't work for Trek grips. There is a reason for this. The products were made in Taiwan and have been tested to make sure they are safe to use. The products were made in Taiwan and have been tested to make sure they are safe to use.
👤The grip end mirrors are better than the mid handlebars. I can see behind and around me with these. I initially felt like they made my ebike too wide, but I quickly got used to it and don't feel that way anymore. These can be tightened down so they don't move when going over bumps, but it's still possible to flip them in when they need to be. I like the shape of these over the round ones. These are larger than the round ones and provide a wider view.
👤The mirror was adequate for the price. There was no major distortion of the image. The mount snapped after a minor collision. There is no way to fix the damaged part. The original mirror will be used as replacement parts after ordering a second unit. The mirror did not break.
👤I bought one for each side of the handle bar. The Trek store had offered me a lot of money, but these mirrors are much better. Installation was very easy, you just need to pop the end piece out of the handle bar, insert the mirror stem, and tighten the adjustment screw.
👤It did not meet expectations for the price. The directions are very bad. It's really terrible. Pieces aren't labeled, so if it says don't use this part if the handle bar is a certain size, it's not what you think it is. The thing is worth about $10
👤This mirror provides a better view than my previous one. It is easy to change.
👤It is packaged in many pieces.
👤The unit is sturdy and easy to adjust. I am buying another one for my wife.
👤Good design and quality. Happy with the purchase.
👤The same item sells on Amazon.com for approximately $27.00USD, which is more than the price of the product in Canada.
It was made in Taiwan. Eco friendly with nylon and fiber. HD cycling mirror lens with anti-scratch protective film need to be torn off before using, the mirror is sturdy and durable. The HD Safe Bike Convex mirror has a wide field of view and can be adjusted to any viewing angle. Before using the bicycle mirror, you should remove the protective film. The bike mirror can be adjusted to any direction to help you watch every direction. It is better to observe all directions of the back. The mirror is mounted in minutes, and the connection point expansion bolt can be inserted into the end of the handlebars. The bike rearview mirror is applicable for both the left and right sides. It's great for mountain bikes, road bikes and city bikes. The package included a bike mirror and a wrench.
👤The compression mounting system leaves a little to be desired, I was expecting the two cones and sleeve to be made of a soft material, but it was not. I scrounged some rubber bushings from my junk bin and cut them to fit between the cones so that they expand and hold fast, and that's what I did with the two hard plastic cones and a hard plastic expansion sleeve that wouldn't fit inside my handlebars. Hope that helps you!
👤I bought these for my kids to use on their bikes. It was easy to cut out the end of the rubber grips. There is a Both broke within days of each other. You should find a mirror that has a decent warranty and has better build quality. These were cheap.
👤The product is the same as advertised. The mounting is easy to install. One of the bikes I mounted the mirror on had a thin neck of the ball that could easily crack if you bumped into it. The mirror needs to be replaced after it snaps off.
👤It's not easy to install. The inner sleeve was broken when trying to slide it into the handlebars. Went to Lowes to buy rubber washers to modify the mounting mechanism. It cost an additional $4.68 plus a 6% tax for a total amount of $4.96. Unless you have extra money and time, don't buy these mirrors.
👤This mirror is amazing. I had a style that was more like the old style. This item is a must have for me.
👤I was going to write a good review because for the first time since I started riding bike, I felt safe because I had these mirrors. It is a big deal. The mirror brakes at the first touch. Both of them broke at the base. It doesn't get a lot of force for the mirror to snap off and break.
👤The mirror's work is perfect, don't let the price fool you. I will never own another brand. I highly recommend.
👤I wanted to install one on two of my bikes. I wanted to see my son when he was at school. These make a huge difference to safety and confidence on the road, with many more electric cars on the road that are virtually silent, and can be right on you without you hearing them. I like that they can be folded towards the handlebars to avoid damaging them, and that they can be rotating 180 degrees. The mirrored surface is very easy to scratch. Even though I have taken care of them, the mirrors in the set are already scratched, so I don't think they will last long. The company might consider covering the mirrored surfaces with a protective coating. These are great accessories for any bike.
👤I had both of them snapped within a month. The first one was when I folded the mirror to get my bike through the doorway. Maybe I had it done up to tight? After it received a gentle knock, the second mirror broke off. My previous mirror didn't last long before it broke. Cheap and cheerful. I have ordered another more expensive one which will hopefully be more robust.
Made of high quality materials. The mountain bike mirror has a plastic mirror that is unbreakable for large field of view and a stable image. The shockproof design and foldable design make it portable. The design of the full rotation is fully adjusted for the perfect viewing angle. It can help you see all directions of your back. The mirror surface is made of a material that is safe. It has a longer service life and is safer than the traditional glass mirror surface. It can be damaged in a riding accident. The left and right sides of the drop and flat handlebars can be fitted with a bicycle rearview mirror. It fits inside the handlebar. It's perfect for road bike, mountain bike, city bike, E-bike, etc. Bike Mirrors come with a protective film, please remove it before use. If you have a quality problem, please contact them. Bike Mirrors come with a protective film, please remove it before use. If you have a quality problem, please contact them.
👤I tried the mirrors that have long necks and attach to the handlebars, but they just got in the way and looked like a bunch of stuff. The side mount mirrors fold nicely when not being used. Get them as a pair and never look back.
👤Absolutely wonderful! The mirror's fault, because I had to slice-off the end of my handlebars. I thought I could slice an "X" into the end of my grip, but it was too much material. So what? I sliced the end of the grip flush with the end of the handlebars, and the mirror covered the hole, which looked like it was always there. The wide-angle aspect of these mirrors is so perfect that I can see directly behind me, with only one mirror on my left side. The other mirror I put on my wife's bike is the same as mine. This mirror is recommended by both of us.
👤The rear view mirrors are perfect for folding electric bikes. They fit into the handgrips. You just have to cut the edge off so you can put the fitting inside the handlebar. Don't be afraid to do it, it will work. It's a big benefit to have it on the paths and roads, and the fact that they have great sightlines makes them an easy purchase.
👤My first complaint is my fault. They stay out. They catch on the bushes and door ways. This is my fault because they do. There is a The mirrors are the second fault. They have a good field or view. Everything is so far away. It's difficult to know a car is behind you. The quality of the plastic is poor. I didn't expect the Leica optics. I would like something better. There is a The description says everything so it's my fault. I'm going to look for some that don't change the view.
👤These fit nicely and serve their purpose. And with the 2 pack. My wife and I both have a mirror for the left side handle bar. These can be left or right and look the same. I would recommend it. I want to let other buyers that these are cheap. You will need to buy more if you drop the bike on these. They might not take much of a hit. There is a We put them on the bikes. Don't cut too much rubber from the inside of the grip. It makes for a better fit. I think.
👤It's easy to install, provides a clear view behind you, but be careful not to knock them. If hit hard, they would like to break. That is likely the case with any mirror like that. If they are hit or brushed against, they are loose enough to move out of the way. If a mirror can't be mounted elsewhere on your handlebars, I would recommend these.
👤The bike mirrors are what I wanted. I've tried other types of mid-bar mount mirrors and was disappointed with how flimsy the necks are. Not these! I find this style more convenient than helmet or eyeglass-mounted types that could easily get damaged or left behind. There is a The end-handlebar mirrors are easy to install and are durable enough to provide safety and ample visibility.
ROCK BROS BIKE Mirrors are perfect for road bikes, mountain bikes, E- bikes, hybrid bikes, city bikes etc. As cyclists they need to watch out for distracted drivers and not paying attention. Stay safe. The most advanced cycle mirror is designed for safety with panoramic glass for a wide viewing area and a reflector for better visibility in low-light riding conditions. LIABLE The rear view mirror of the Eyelink road bike is vibration resistant. A soft-touch rubber for a comfortable grip was created with carbon composite. The Eyelink is an Italian road bike mirror. Selle Italia guarantees its products against material and manufacturing defects for 24 months from the date of purchase.
👤I bought this for my bike as it seemed to be the best option for a mirror mounted in a position similar to found motorcycles as this is the best way to see what is behind me. It does do this well in that it has a wide view behind and is positioned properly to allow me to do quick checks. I almost bumped it up to 2 stars because of how well it provided coverage. The mirror was on for about 30 miles. The mirror broke on the 3rd ride into work and I was going to wait until I got home to fix it. The mirror fell onto the road after it separated from the assembly on the ride home. Most of my commute is on the road. The mirror was held to the assembly by a small amount of hot glue. This is very cheap for the mirror. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
👤When you're riding, what price do you pay for safety? $65 or so for something that will greatly enhance safety when you're on a busy street? It's kind of priceless. There aren't many great options for those with drop bar road style bikes. There are different types of helmets. The viewing area is small and you have to hold your head still. The bar end varieties have small viewing areas that are distorted in order to get a lot of rear view, and they tend to be on the distorted side. They require you to really take your eyes off the road in front of you in order to hone in on what you're seeing. There are more options for flat bar handlebars. The Hafny mirror is designed to fit on the straight handlebars, but road bike handlebars tend to be narrower, so I use the Hafny bar to place the mirror close to my body. The placement of the mirror may affect how usable it is. The Salle Italia is designed to fit over the brake/shifter units. There's a ring around the part of the mirror that's attached to it. The strap goes around the top of the bike. It's good at holding. You can see a larger and less distorted image in the mirror. There is a The Selle Italia mirror seems overpriced in terms of execution and quality of contruction after seeing a lot of other products. "Made In Italy" is promoted on their website. You will see "Made In Taiwan" on the unit itself if you notice in the photo I posted. Unless Taiwan becomes a protectorate of Italy, this is probably not made in Italy. Is it designed in Italy? Maybe. The construction is plastic. The Hafny products have glass mirrors and are less expensive than Selle Italia. I wouldn't complain if it did its job. It does in part, but not where it counts the most. I'm getting a replacement to see if the flaw is with my sample. There is a The ball bearing pivot is not terrible. It feels cheap. It doesn't stay put at some points of the pivot. The pivot bearing seems to be oblong, with slight obstructions along the way. When I reached that point, I had to apply a bit more force to get it past that point, and then pressure inside to propel it past that point. It goes past the spot where I need to put the mirror. I took a video so you can see it. I started the mirror from the point where I need it to be, and then moved it to the point after the bike stopped. You will see it get to the point, but then fall by itself. It will stay if I move it beyond that point. The mirror will move down beyond where I need it to stop if it is moved back downward. If the replacement is any better, I may change my review. There is a I'm not happy with the initial quality. It doesn't seem like a big deal. If it works, it will be worth it because I know of no other design that will provide a safe bicycle rear view mirror for drop down style handlebars. Having a mirror above the handlebars allows me to take a quick glance and still keep an eye on what's in front of me. Let's hope the company improves. There is a Follow up: A second sample of the mirror was given to me. There is a slight force for the mirror to move back below the point because it has a hump in the pivot bearing. The pivot point can be tightened. It's the place where the top and bottom of the mirror attach, and it's just below the pivot point. The top and bottom pieces are held around the pivot by using an allen wrench. It's more difficult to re-pivot the mirror for my ride because of the slipping. The mirror is held in place on the bars with a strap, which is not a solid mount. The strap can be moved a bit if the mirror is put under pressure. I'm not at the same angle when I ride as when I stop, so I have to adjust the mirror at a stop. There is a When I go over bumps, the mirror moves downward from its set point. It's better. It stays in place longer if the pivot is tightened. When the mirror stays in place, it provides a great view. There is a The retail price on this mirror is close to $80. When you get it, you'll be shocked. It's just a bunch of plastic, no better than the $25 mirrors. There is a It's the perfect mirror in terms of angle when it works properly. I could use a bar end type of mirror on a straight road bike, where my body is horizontal to the road, lower down on the bars. I need a mirror that doesn't require me to take my eyes off the road so much because I'm semi-upright with my Salsa Vaya. I tried to contact the manufacturer distributor a couple of times, but got no response. I would be wary of the 2-year warranty being honored. There is a This is not "Made In Italy", as the mirror states, as it is "Made In Taiwan". I don't mind paying for well-paid labor and if it were all manufactured in Italy, I could justify the price. I don't trust the mirror to stay on the bike when it's on the highway. I put it in my car after taking it off the bike. I brought the mirror with me when I came home. I dropped it on the floor from about 3' up. The mirror was cracked in two places. I was able to put the pieces back in the mirror frame after they broke. There is tension on the glass to the shape of the plastic it rests against. I wish there was a better alternative to this mirror, a design that is better executed, but it works well when it's working properly. I still have to adjust the mirror and interface with the drops on the handlebars from time to time, but it's a better place to check out what is behind you than the mirrors based on the endcaps of the drops.
The silver and blue lens have anti-glare coefficients of 50% and 75%, respectively. It is designed for drop bars. HD anti-glare glass mirror. It's necessary to measure the fit inside the handlebar within 16mm 21mm. It's Applicable for both Left and Right. Eco-friendly, made in Taiwan, with nylon and fiber.
👤I decided to write a review because I didn't see any reviews on the product. I bought a mirror to use. I like it a lot. I only had two chances to ride it. There is snow and icy roads. I can see the traffic. It doesn't increase air draft or weight as much as I think it would. When I hold the tops, I should move my arm to see the mirror. The drops and hoods are fine. When the season starts for my Roubaix and Tarmak bikes, I'm going to buy 2 more. The mirror is better than the helmet. I write the review because I want to, no one paid me for it. There is a P.S. English is my 4th language and I need to apologize for some mistakes.
👤This is the best bar end mirror I have tried. I ordered it with the standard glass. It was easy to install on my road bike. It's large enough to be useful. With my hands on the hoods, I can see the side of my left knee and calf behind me. The shape of the car makes it hard to see it more than 4 or so lengths behind you, but you can tell if the car is dangerous or coming too fast. If you're riding in town or city, make sure the cars give you room as they pass or sit in your blind spot, but you'll still want to do a head check before entering the road. Unless you're right on your tail, it's not possible to see cyclists behind you. The mirror is of high quality. It's made from glass and a strong material. It will not scratch like cheap plastic or polished metal. I was able to get it adjusted properly. I mounted it at a slight angle, instead of straight inline with the bars. There is a If you hit the mirror on your top tube with your handlebars, the adjustment screw is not strong enough to prevent it from moving. If you hit the mirror or drop your bike, it will just move instead of breaking off. It would be great if it had a way of popping back into place so you didn't have to adjust it every time. The piece of plastic between the mount and mirror is small and flimsy, so I expect a full weight drop of the bike or higher speed impact would snap it off. The mirror would likely shatter if it were glass. I think I'd rather break a cheap mirror than my handlebars or frame. If you don't like helmet or glasses mounted mirrors, this is a good idea.
👤The field of view is narrow, you have to move your head or your handle bars to see what is behind you. There is a * The side-to-side adjustment is very small, I couldn't get it adjusted far enough in toward the bike to see what was behind me. If your drop bars are flared out at the bar ends, the minimal horizontal adjustment issue is worse. * Any object more than a few feet behind you is too small to see in the mirror. When my partner is on my tail, I can see them clearly. I miss seeing a car that is more than a few car lengths behind me. When the object is close, I miss approaching cars until they overtake me because of the narrow field of view.
There are wide applications. Their bike mirror is mounted on a bike helmet and used as a back up mirror to give you a clear view of traffic, improve safety, and increase your safety on the road. They will provide a satisfactory solution to your questions if you contact them. Stay safe. You don't have to lose sight of the road ahead if you keep an eye on other cars and cyclists. There is a rumor. You don't have to sacrifice clean aesthetic for safety with minimal projection. There are clear roads. You can see the roads clearly with the Bar End mirror. It isdurable: The mirror is made of aluminum and glass. The Bar End mirror is for all bikes. The Bar End mirror is for all bikes.
👤I bought this as a replacement for my Third Eye Bar End mirror, which had broken, and I am very pleased with the field of vision I get out of this Cat Eye product. It is less than the mirror I replaced and less than the field of view I expected. It seems that the smaller mirror delivers the same view as the larger one. The left side of the mirror has a design that extends the range of vision beyond what a truly flat mirror would have. It mounts very firmly into the handlebars. The Third Eye product would move from being bumped to being vibrated. The Cat Eye stays put. It gives a nicer appearance. Very pleased!
👤I bought this as an addition to my bike. The blackburn mirror on my old road bike was very large and intrusive, so it was a bit annoying. I came across this mirror when I was looking for a replacement. I'm very happy with it. There is a The small profile, simple and effective bar, mirror stays in place while riding, and not as easy to view as a pivot, are the pros. I was worried that the small mirror would be too small to be useful, but it provides enough of a field of view to see cars behind me, and I don't have to think about it when I don't need it.
👤I got this because of the great reviews. It was easy to install and stable, but when I rode the bike, I couldn't see traffic behind me because I couldn't aim it in a way that made sense. The best I could see was the center line of the road. The stem of the mount was impinging on the collar that held the ball of the mount. I used a Dremel to reduce the collar, but it wasn't enough. I used the same tool to adjust the mirror to let me see behind me after I realized the ball and stem are not plastic. There is a I'm surprised that nobody has had this problem with my bike. I'm happy with the mirror.
👤I broke my Take a Look mirror and thought I would try a different one. The Take a Look helmet mounted mirror gives me a better view of what is happening behind me. I can see a car coming. A small car is difficult to determine how close it is with the mounted mirrors. The rear view mirror is similar to the side mirror in that it shows you more about the approaching car. With a helmet mirror, you can see directly behind you and even some of what to the right of you. Can't do that with a mirror. The construction of the Cat eye mirror is very good and should last a long time for those that prefer this type of mirror.
👤The mirror by Cat Eye really knocked it out of the park. It is very easy to install. The body and lens are made of alloy. Not plastic that can break and become cloudy. The size of the glass is perfect to be usable without being unattractive or geeky. The description says the mirror is flat but there is a slight curve that provides a nice field of view. The mirror is held firmly in place and does not buzz, vibrate, or distort the images, even though it is easy to adjust. I'm not sure how this would work in a crash, but if you do, they are inexpensive and easy to replace. This mirror is the best for flat bars. There are better options for drop bars. It is very prone to hitting your knee if it is installed on drop bars. I put a mirror on my road bikes after a few close calls. I will never ride without one. My road bikes all have mirrors, and I just added one to my endurance bike.
