The WOLFBOX G840H mirror dash cam has a larger screen and a high- performance processor, and it has a better resolution up to 2.5K and rear1080P. It saves 30% bit rate with the same image quality, no need to worry about over-capacity with higher resolution. The dash cam has an optical glass mirror. The front and rear lens are equipped with WDR techology, which supports multi-level 3D denoising, and supports strong light suppression and back light compensation. It makes the image bright and dark and provides better images in the night or strong light. You can use the package without buying anything extra. You can record your driving direction, speed, position, and more with the help of gps and the exclusiveGVPLAYER. This is important evidence in an accident. When the card is full, loop recording will automatically replace the old files. The mirror cam will turn to the rear camera when you turn to "R" gear, and the parking monitor will function as a camera system while the vehicle is off. Wolfbox provides a 12-month warranty, software update and 24h*7 customer service. During the period, they will resolve any issues for you. They usually reply within 12 hours.
👤I bought the Wolfbox dash cam as a gift and it was installed at the beginning of November 2020. The rear camera worked well for a while, but then it stopped working after 3 months. The 30 day return policy is not applicable because two emails to the seller have gone unanswered.
👤I would not have thought of this camera a decade ago. I will not repeat the other great features described in other reviews because I love the unobstructed rear-view. If you buy a leading-edge product, technology can fail. The camera wouldn't boot after about 3 months. I was initially concerned about the return period but I was pleasantly surprised. I sent 2 emails to Mia. She offered to send me a new mirror after I tested with a strong wall adapter. It arrived in 3 days and works well. There is a The entire exchange procedure went very smoothly. Technology can fail, but good support can make up for it.
👤This was a great way to add a dash cam and backup camera. There is a There are pros and cons. The mirror has a full-screen video of the cameras. There is a There are no blind spots with the rear-view camera. There are indicators on the mirror. There is a The front and rear cameras have clear images. There is a There are a lot of rear camera mounting hardware options. Installation is straight forward. There are some things that are CONS: I had to mount the rear camera at an angle to offset the orientation of the camera image and the image is still skewed to the left giving me a tilted view of the horizon. The rear-view camera was not mounted correctly in the housing and this is just poor quality control from the factory. There is a The headlights of other vehicles glare at night. Glare on the mirror is a minor nuisance. If you aim the camera at the ground, rear-view will allow for accurate backup distance between the vehicle and objects. If you aim the camera at the ground for parking, you compromise the rear-view image. The horizontal view is so wide that it eliminates blind spots, but the vertical view is so limited that you can't see your rear bumper without losing effective rear-viewing.
👤I installed this in my truck and it seemed to work. The mirror gets really hot. Touching around the unit is very hot. The front camera started acting weird after a while. I put the hardwire kit in my truck, but I'm taking the signal from turns back off when I start. This causes the mirror to turn off. I have to use the mirror to get the display back up after the truck starts. I find a spot where the power comes on with the key and stays on while you start, I don't think this will be an issue. When I shut the truck off, the mirror displayed that it was in time lapse mode and the display was turned off. The truck was parked in the sun. The mirror was still in park when I went back out, but it was in backup mode. The mirror was hot. It was put back in the right state by cycling the ignition. The display looks nice, but I don't think it's well engineered. It is destined to fail soon. There is a I will see how long it lasts.
The vehicle backup camera system has a dual antenna and a wireless camera system. The signal can be reached in an open area and work on a vehicle range under 220 feet. The wireless trailer backup camera system has recording function. The backup cameras can be connected to a 12V-36 V range power source or reverse only. The wireless trailer camera system can have up to 4 cameras. You can add a travel trailer camera or license plate camera to the camera system. You can adjust the width, height, left and right of the rear view mirror camera according to your needs. The pigtail wire plug is easy to install and compatible with the Furrion pre-wired power outlet. The truck backup camera system has image stability and clarity. The1080P Monitor can be attached to the dash or used as a suction cup accessory for free upon request from customer service. The1080P Monitor can be attached to the dash or used as a suction cup accessory for free upon request from customer service.
👤I used to have a wired camera that wouldn't come on at all. I had some issues figuring out how to mount the monitor in the cab after installation. The camera system should come with the mount. If you have multiple trailers and do not want to transfer the monitors, there are some suggestions to make this system even better. I give this system a 5 star rating for the ease of installation and the quality of the picture. The system works well. It instantly makes your rig safer and more enjoyable to maneuver. Should the need arise, this system could be used on A/C. I will probably buy more cameras. I have had the chance to use this product for almost 2 weeks. It prevented 2 accidents in just a short time. I can't see anything out of the back of my Ford F350 with a camper shell, or the back of the cargo trailer. This system is essential. It works well. The cameras are larger than your typical license plate camera, but it is much higher resolution. It was easy to install. I tied in the running lights. I recommend that you solder the connection to the electrical connection. I chose to put a camera at the back of my truck and at the back of the trailer. Make sure your camera is grounded. When the trailer bounced, the video feed went in and out because of the intermittent ground on my trailer camera. Since I fixed the problem, there have been no issues. I have not had to use a signal extender because my transmitters are 40 feet apart. It is just great. I have experience with all types of low light camera systems. The system automatically switches from color to black and white light assist. In my case, the camera is mounted just inside the camper, and it was causing a glare on the back glass. I covered the lights with electrical tape. 100 meters in low light and 200 meters in normal light/color mode give a clear image out to the camera's visual limit. It can record up to 70 hours of video from both cameras at the same time. It just rewrites the data if it goes over 70 hours. This might be useful for some. There is a It is rare for a company to communicate so well and actually follow through on a promise. They did this for me. Twice. This is how you build your business. Juny Liu did a great job. I found the mount to be a must for my use. It is very solid and does not bounce around. This should be standard. There is no need for an alternate mount with the suction mount. It would be nice to have the option to purchase individual components separately. I like this system. I would consider getting a model with 4 cameras for larger rigs. The concept is the same, the cameras are the same, and the monitor can accept 4 simultaneous video feeds.
No drilling, no wiring or professional installation is required in 5 minutes. The only tool you need to install the camera is a screwdriver. The installation fee can be reduced by up to $200. The sun is powered by the sun. Solar1 has a charge with sunlight. You only need to charge it once a year with 30 minutes of sunlight exposure. The fully charged battery can last for 2 months in the rainy season. There is safe parking at low light nights. The low-light vision of Solar 1 is superior. In a dark environment, you can park easily and safely under a low-light source like your reversing lights. The 2.4G wireless digital frequency hopping technology prevents it from interfering with other wireless signals. The high-resolution sensor and 6 glass lens ensure smooth image quality. Compatibility for multiple vehicle types is high. The signal transmission distance of Solar1 is enough to fit both small cars and medium-sized vehicles such as pickup trucks, cargo vans, and the small classes of RVs.
👤The camera was easy to install and worked well. I had to get a different monitor holder as the one that came with it wouldn't stay stuck. I liked the fact that I didn't have to drill holes or cut wires to install the camera. I bought it about 4 months ago and it has done great. It was rated a 1 star. 3 days ago, I went to get my car washed. The power supply cover was locked. It won't work now that water got in it. Some water came out when I opened the sealed compartment. Amazon only has a 30 return policy. I tried to get in touch with the seller, but only the Amazon assistant could help me. There was an update. I was able to speak to the seller. They sent me a replacement immediately.
👤The unit was ordered from on line reviews. The color monitor came pre-paired so it was easy to install and start after sundown. Some people don't understand that. It's easy to mount. There is a The only complaint I have so far is that the menu is missing. The instructions aren't very clear and you have to use the middle menu button on the side to change to the screen you want, but it has a tendency to switch back to neutral mode too quickly. I set the angle of the parking lines and we went. Works well! Will be buying one for our CC as well. I will update this in a week or so. One week later, there is an update. Still working hard. You have to be fast with the adjustments screen once it's figured out. This thing is very easy and works well. I'm going to buy one for my car as well. The second update was still working well. There were no problems at all. I was trying to back over an old lady at the grocery store. This is a great product. There is a The work is still working great. Absolutely no issues at all.
👤It was easy to install, but it wouldn't work after a week. I took the camera off and charged it again, but it wouldn't power up. The monitor wouldn't pair with the camera. This was a complete waste of money and I was very disappointed in the product, so I never do a review.
👤The installation was simple, but it was not waterproof, and I had to wash my Ford F-150 after it was done. After the wash, water will rush out of your bed and destroy the camera. You can't have a backup camera that's not waterproof because it was a fantastic device. It's like having a hole in a car.
WOLFBOX 170 front and 140 rear lens provide an ultra wide view, minimizing the blind spots for safe driving/reversing. You can see dual lens display with smart screen split function. The curved screen makes the body more smooth and suitable for the human eye. The mirror camera is compatible with the existing mirror. The WOLFBOX mirror camera has a built-in high-quality chip that can record both front and rear. The upgraded low-reflectivity LCD was applied to the car camera. Night vision is enhanced by a 6 layer glass lens. The license plate is clearly displayed. Smart Functions, Safe Driving1Streaming Media Rearview, 2Parking Monitoring, 3GPS Function, 4G-Sensor, 5Collision boot recording, 6Loop Recording, 7Video time Lapse, etc The backup camera shows the rear view of the car by displaying a high resolution image in the rear-view mirror. The rear image can be adjusted vertically or horizontally with the help of the "Upside down of rear view" and "Rear cam mirror image" menu. It can be installed on pick-up trucks, RVs or even on top roof. Recording/G-sensor/Parking Monitor If the memory card reaches full capacity, loop recording allows continuous recording even if there is a sudden collision.
👤I hit him at 40 mph. His insurance isn't fighting me.
👤Been using the dash cam camera for more than a year. The camera seems to use too much electricity from my car's battery in parking timelapse mode. My car needs to be shut off most of the time to protect its battery from being empty. It is possible that the battery capacity of my car is not large and that it could potentially drain out of my car battery in timelapse mode. There is a I decided to buy a second one for my friend's car and install it this weekend. The original review is still available. I've been using multiple dash cam cameras and mirror dash cam for about 5 years. This is the best I have ever had. I would like to highlight the features that make this camera superior to its competitors, instead of re listing the features that were mentioned in other reviews. 1. A timelapse feature protects you while the car is parked, unlike a dash cam which protects you on the road. If you hard wired the camera to your car, it will take a frame (or more) per second and save them to a video file when you turn off the car. Imagine how this feature would benefit you. You would have a proof if someone bumped into your car. It acts as a secret security camera. 2. They have software that will replay your video with the location of your car on a map. If you like programming, you can extract the gps data from the MOV file to show all the roads you had been on during your trip. 3. If you want to use your mirror as a normal mirror, you can put it into a screen saver mode that only shows your heading direction, speed, and time. It feels like you have a mirror in your car. 4. You can set the mirror so that it will give a warning when you drive over a certain speed. This would help you avoid speeding tickets if you don't know you drive too fast. The speed the mirror calculates from the gps signal is pretty accurate. 5. They have the best customer service I have ever heard of from a Chinese company. They reply less than 24 hours after you ask a question on Amazon or email. Wolfbox, thanks for your hard work! There are some cons I could see. There is no way to turn off the speed display. 2. The Lane Departure Warning is not working consistently. Sometimes it gives out a warning. 3. Even though the sky was clear, sometimes it takes a while to lock down the satellites. There are several things. I have only been using the camera for a month. It could handle hot temperatures. The camera turned off because it was too hot in my car. May 23, 2020 is an update. The camera turned off the Timelapse when the temperature inside the car was too hot. I think the problem came from my car, not because the camera was too hot. After using my car battery for 6 hours in timelapse mode, it was shut off so I wouldn't be empty. 2. It has to work 24 hours a day. It would shorten the life of the camera. Let's see how long the camera lasts. It's still working! I'm very happy with this purchase, after testing a couple of other cameras.
2.5K support for you with clearer pictures and videos. The DL12 mirror dash cam has a resolution of up to 2.5K (2560 X 1440) and offers you a clearer front image. The rear camera of the1080P provides more remarkable details than the 720P. The Sony IMX335 starvis sensor and HiSilicon Hi3556 processor are used in the Visible Night Vision in Low Light and Headlight. Save DrivingGPS Proofs: With oneGPS module, you can record real time location, current driving track and driving speed. There is a reliable evidence when there is a traffic accident. The voice control function will be added in June 2021. Voice commands:Off Lock video, open recorder, take photo, record video. The Live Stream Rear View has a backup camera that can provide more traffic information in real time and at a wider angle than the rear view mirror. If the rear camera cord is not an issue for your car, please contact their after-sale service team.
👤I bought these mirrors about a year ago and they were nice. They changed the design without changing the images. The front camera is no longer integrated, but it is still slide out, and the mirror is shorter, and they increased the price to 150 bucks. It's really weird. You sell something great for less than it is good for more? Is that marketing in the East? They returned them and had another unhappy customer because of greed.
👤I liked that it didn't add bulk to the windshield. There are different viewing angles and the ability to record both front and rear. There is a The ability to immediately search for a video on the display of the unit is a better system than most of their competitors have. What is not to like? It is hard to get used to looking at a video stream for your rear view mirror, and I often look out my review mirror to look at myself, if you have a second camera. If you have kids, you won't be able to adjust your mirror to keep an eye on them. There is a The mirror is a little heavy, and it seems to work my mirror down over the coarse of a day. This is not a flaw in the product. My mirror was not designed to hold that weight. Installation instructions were very easy to follow, and hooking up the reverse camera feature was easy. The camera looks great when it is installed and the right person is in the picture.
👤I got this camera because I didn't like other dash cameras that required a big spot of your car's dash, and this one doesn't need any difficult setup such as sticking something permanent to your front window. The mirror dash cam setup was just a slip in an SD card and the included bands that let you place the mirror dash cam over your existing mirror. The device is powered by a plug that comes with the box and you just need to put the cable into the side of your car so they are not visible. The dash cam doesn't need much to get up and running, other than the power cable, which is the most difficult part of the setup. If you install the dash cam into your car, you will be able to record from the backup cam if motion is detected. If you decide to use the dash cam, you don't have to do any additional steps, even if you didn't install the backup cam. The camera's wide-angle lens is perfect for recording and captures a majority of the stuff that the lense pointed to, and it records more than what is shown in the mirror. The dash cam has been performing well. It's nice to keep a record of things that happen around your car. I'm very happy with the product and it does its job well without leaving a big footprint in your interior.
The video cable that connects the backup camera to the monitor is replaced by the transmitter, which frees you from the complex wiring issue. The rear view mirror can fit most cars because of the 4 size of brackets in package. It can be anti-vibrated under various bumpy roads. Stable signal transmission. The wireless transmission can reach up to 100 meters in an open area, it can send strong signals to the monitor, which provides you a high definition image without interference and flickers. Super Night Vision. The rear view camera has a light that can switch on/off according to the ambient light. You can see the things behind your car even at night if you have light in the dark area. The waterproof standard makes sure the camera wouldn't be penetrated by the rain or dust. If you live in a region with frigid or hot temperatures, this camera is a good choice.
👤I don't normally leave reviews, but it's frustrating not knowing if items like this will fit your car or not. The mirror was installed in 2006 and 2012 The Toyota Rav4 is a car. It fit perfectly on the stock mounting brackets. The easiest part was mounting the mirror. I believe the Camry and Corolla use the same "keystone" type mounting brackets, but I'm not sure. The mirror has enough cable to run across the top of the hood, down the A-pillar, and to the floor behind the glove box. The perfect amount of wire was here. The rest of the video wire should be in your camera, and you'll need to take the video feed from the backup camera to the mirror. I also purchased a backup camera on Amazon. The setup looks like it came from the factory. The mirror is working well so far. The screen is bright and I have been able to keep it on the lowest brightness setting. For the price and free shipping, there was no complaints. It's not an issue if the mirror is auto-dimming. For the price, it works well. If I have any problems with it, I will update in the future. Five stars for now. I've been using this mirror for the past 6 months. I have no regrets about the purchase. The colors are still bright and the picture is adequate for my needs. My other car has a backup camera on the navigation screen, but I prefer the in-dash setup. If I have issues in the next 6 months, I will keep updating. It has been over a year since I installed this mirror in my car. It continues to work well. There was no degradation in picture quality. I still consider the unit superior to the factory set up in my other car in terms of display brightness, color rendering, and response time when the car is placed in reverse. Great product! I have had no issues or complaints with this mirror for two years. The mirror is still working. I would still recommend. The mirror works perfectly when it's been three years. There was no image distortion or dead pixels. There were no complaints. Over 30,000 miles and three years of near daily use, the mirror and all wiring are still working perfectly. I have continued my 5-star rating. It has been 5 years and 50,000 miles since the installation. The mirror works perfectly when I back up, even though I still own the car. Continue 5 stars.
It's very easy to install a universal clip-on mirror monitor. There are two power supply modes. Concealed mounting can be done with a car cigarette lighter or a fuse box. Also, note: This unit is not a dash cam, but just for parking and viewing while driving. If you want to meet your driving safety needs, ignore the green reversing wire, connect the reversing wire to the light positive pole, and press the power button on the monitor to close the screen, the monitor will turn on automatically while reversing. The SONY CCD chips that provide high definition vivid video are called the "1080P High Definition& Super waterproof Rating". The backup camera can work in all weather conditions. You can respond to danger quicker with full-color night vision function. It is possible to use a car backup camera system for reversing/driving safety for all cars, sedans, SUVs, pickup trucks, and tractor-trailers. Also, note: The Jeep Wrangler and Nissan Titan are examples of vehicles that do not have a larger size mirror. Installation support can be reached through Amazon or the methods highlighted in the user manual. Problems can be solved in 12H.
👤The camera was good. There is a The Pros are clean look, no extra wires on your dashboard, no extra monitors on your windshield, and a good quality picture. The rear camera picture doesn't have enough contrast against the background because the camera monitor is in the rearview mirror. It still gives you a good picture, but you can't compare it to the factory installed monitor or the monitor which you install on your dashboard, so if you don't mind extra space on your dashboard, go for it. I like the way it looks. The problem is only present during a day when the picture background is dark and the contrast is poor. I will take pictures of the monitor in the daytime and night so you can understand what I'm doing.
👤The product is pretty cool. Initial satisfaction is great, but I can't speak to longevity yet. You don't have to understand electronics to install on a scale of 3 out of 10. It means you have to be willing to crawl around your vehicle and be willing to take out plastic trim pieces, and in my case, spend a little time on your back underneath your truck. I took about 2 hours to install, but I was dealing with a broken arm, so that slowed me down a bit. There is a I don't think it's in the description, but the camera angle is adjusted. I've seen some videos where the grid on the monitor makes it look like they'll be parking in the air, just turn the camera down and the image of the grid appears "grounded"! ha The VT1 kit came with quick splicers, plastic pieces that make it easier to snap a wire. I know what I'm doing, I used the splicers exactly as they should have been used. Nothing. I thought I had a DOA camera since I tested the wire for power and ground and knew it was fine. I went to the video sharing website for help. The DIYer discovered that sometimes the wires are too thin to get an effective connection through the splicers. He simply cut out the splicers and twisted the wires. If you're not familiar with shrink tubing, you can use electrical tape to wrap them. The more you can do, the more likely your project will come together. I think most negative comments are due to an unwillingness to think about the product that is beyond its description. The VT1 is definitely worth it for the price.
K7 uses a digital wireless signal so you can see your rear blind spot without interference. The range is wide enough to work with a range of everyday vehicles. The images are clear and high-quality. The 5′′ screen has enough detail, contrast and accuracy to distinguish objects. The images on the screen are clear and readable, so you know you are in good hands. K7 uses digital wireless technology to transmit the signal between the monitor and camera. The most annoying part of the wiring is the cables from front to rear. It would make the wiring simpler. The transmission between the camera and monitor is referred to as wireless. The camera needs to be wired to a power supply. You can adjust the angle of the camera up or down to suit your vehicle. The same guideline and angle isn't ideal for a tall SUV and a low-to-the-ground sedan. Good low-light Vision. The obstacle behind the car can't be seen with the reverse lights on. It can be as low as 0.1LUX. A night with a full moon is rated at 0.1 lux while a sunny day is rated at 10,000 lux.
👤It's easier to drive out of a parking spot when I back into it. The rear view out the back window of the Toyota Prius is not good. I did a lot of research on back up cameras before I decided on a product and it was a recommendation by a mechanic on the internet. I had trouble installing the earlier version of the camera with my car. I contacted the company's customer service and got a lot of helpful information, including links to videos for my model car. Customer satisfaction is a very important concern for them. It worked well and did the job, but since they made a new and improved camera system which is easier to install and a bigger monitor and better camera, I changed the old one for the new one, pictured here. The improvements are worth it. If you want to buy a back up camera from a company that is reliable, then you cannot go wrong with getting it from BosCAM.
👤Works well. I'm very happy with my purchase, it's easy to install, anyone can do it. I really like that it works so fast.
👤The camera only lasts about 3 weeks, and I don't know what's going on with it. I think I'm done buying stuff on Amazon, but it's starting to be a hassle.
👤I still love my 2005 model car, but after seeing my husband's 2015 model with a backup camera, I looked for an aftermarket camera for my ride. The camera does a great job. The picture is clear and crisp, and better than expected. The quality of the camera decreases at night. It is helpful and functional. I had my mechanic install it for me because the car was due for service at the time the camera came. Installation was easy according to the mechanic. The camera is mounted inside the car, but I don't like it. The mount works well if the car is in the garage. The temperature of the dash gets hotter in the sun, and the suction won't hold. I've been reading reviews and may try to mount it on the glass of the car's window. That's disappointing. Since the camera works so well, it is a small annoyance to deal with in order to have the advantage of seeing what's behind me. I recommend this unit to anyone who wants an aftermarket backup camera.
Stable and vivid image is achieved with digital wireless transmission, with no interference from other signals. The camera has a PC1058 sensor, which gives a vivid picture, which restores what you see behind your car. The bigger the camera angle, the more distortion you get when the angle is over 120 degrees. The parking lines fit different heights and make the parking assistant a trusted one. The waterproof standard of this camera is IP68, the highest and lowest temperature resistance is -4F149F, and the lumen rating is 0.1 at low light night. The camera always performs well when it's sunny or rainy or hot or cold. You can install the monitor on either the dashboard or the windshield with the suction cup mount. The tedious installation process is eliminated because there is no wire from the monitor to the camera. There is no need for the transmitter to be added to the camera. You can easily install it by yourself with all of these. A 30-day money-back guarantee and 1-year warranty are offered by Auto-vox. The Professional technician team is available 24 hours a day.
👤I own a Ram 1500 and purchased the Auto-VOX. The installation was easy. The instructions in the package were easy to follow and I had the system installed in 45 minutes. The camera is above the license plate. The video on the monitor is of high quality. The monitor behind the truck shows me a clear display when I put my gear shift in reverse. I can see everything behind me to make backing-up safer. This product is very good.
👤I put this unit on a 40 foot fifth wheel to watch my boat when I tow it, and I was so happy when I turned on the clearance light that I plugged into the truck. It is a nice picture. I have been looking for one of these for the last 4 years and the good quality ones were around 400 bucks, but when I saw the price of this one at only $119, I decided to buy it. I sent an e mail to the manufacturer and he said it would work on my fifth wheel. I like this product very much. Jack.
👤Excellent product, fast service, and great picture quality, seem to be the result of this. Since it is a digital signal, I have not had any interference from outside sources. The product was installed on a 08 Ford Explorer in less than two hours and it was not a 30 minute install like some of the other reviewers. I had to add another foot to the power cable to make it fit in the rear camera. It would be easier to install a new plug or transformer in the same way that the company did, because you wouldn't have to snake the power transformer through all the tight spots. I have to drill about four holes and not just two as stated in the instructions. Every install has its own special requirements. I would buy it again, it was rated four out of five.
👤The camera was easy to install and I am only 15 years old. Make sure you connect the camera to the reverse light first. The only reverse lights that lit up were on the back door of the Ford Escape that I installed. The reverse light on the main tail light was plugged into. It worked out well. All of the wires were on the door. I drilled a hole in the middle of the license plate so that you couldn't see it. I bolted the wire from the camera to the license plate. I used a caulk on the back to keep water out, but I think it would be fine without it. It's better to be safe than sorry. Behind the plastic panel that covered the camera and the reverse light wires, there was a wire that was tucked into them. I wrapped the wire around the mount. It's very handy that it has a port for a computer. It seems to work and has a sturdy construction. Two thumbs up for me.
The V1P is a well-hidden witness to the road ahead because of the low-profile design. The included rear camera can be connected to the 4K front camera. You can record and display the road in front and behind you. 170 DEGREE WIDE ANGLE LENS. The glass lens opens up to give you a panoramic view. The WDR technology allows the camera to perform in any lighting situation by adjusting the exposure to create balanced images and footage. The parking marshal is a super criminal. The dash cam uses a supercapacitor that can survive temperatures from -20 to 176F, which prevents the risk of overheating, and extends the life span and reliability of the camera. The dash cam will record when the car camera senses vibration or when the dash cam captures frames for a time lapse video. The parking mode can be activated by connecting the smart hardwire kit. There is a connection for the internet. You can view, save, and share dash cam recordings on your mobile device with the use of an app interface. Video can be recorded in 1 to 2 minute intervals. When the storage limit is reached, new recordings will automatically be added to the old ones. Micro SD memory cards can hold up to a maximum of 128 gigabytes in memory size. Important footage is kept protected when the current video is locked because of the built-in gravity sensor. Videos that are locked will be kept safe.
👤I have had this for a few weeks and I like it. There is a I like the fact that the camera is forward facing. The video looks good on a computer monitor. It's easy to see what's happening. The rear camera is mounted in the back window. It's worth the additional installation. I don't like dual cameras that are mounted on the front of the car, because they give you a view out the rear glass and the passenger compartment, and I don't like dual cameras that are mounted on the back of the car, because they give you a view out the The Dash cam has a remote camera that is placed directly to the rear glass. There are 3 more If you allow the camera to format the card, it will be able to use a 128 gigabyte card. There is a Things. I don't like it. The problem was fixed in the update that was released after the original post date. If you are still having this problem, you should update your firmware. 25 Dec. At the start of each video file, the video is choppy. It looks like it is mixing the previous and present frames. The first photo is attached. There are yellow lines on the left of the photo. The stop sign post is split. The screen capture was from the video and I added a yellow line to make sure that there were two separate frames in the video file. You can see part of the building in the far parking lot, as well as the car parked next to it. You can see the leftmost part of the bumper on the car in front of me in the center-left of the picture below the stop sign. The effect can last up to a minute in the video, but it usually disappears within 20 seconds. It's not noticeable when the frames are changing quickly. I've tried a lot of different cards. This effect occurs if I copy the video file to the hard drive on the PC and then view it from there. There are two more In the image above, the stamp should say "REXING DASHCAM and possibly a license plate number is partially blanked out." It may have something to do with the dislike seen in comment 1. Sometimes the date stamp in the video is incorrect. See the second image. The video was taken on July 26, 2016 The time is correct in the yellow box, but the day is not displayed on the map as it should be, because the gps was tracking my location so it had a position signal. I blanked out the license plate number and road names on the map. This has happened many times now. I would recommend this product to anyone. It's always good to get feedback from people who have used it. I would like to find a solution to these problems but it wouldn't stop me from buying this again. I hope someone uses it. I edited some of the content and realized that the photos I referred to didn't attach. As of this date, they've been attached.
The rearview radar has a tail light that illuminates vehicles approaching from behind. Pairs with your Edge bike computer and compatible phone as well as select watches or display units. The Varia app on your phone gives you graphics, tone, and vibration warnings that indicate approaching cars. When using a compatible phone, the Varia radar integrates with third-party apps such as Ride withGPS to show your maps with radar warnings. Daylight visibility can be as high as 1 mile. Most road-use bicycles have a compact vertical design. The light flash in pliton mode is perfect for cycling in groups. In day flash mode, the battery can last up to 16 hours.
👤I have a nice mirror. I didn't think I needed this. My brother was very pleased with how well it worked. I bought one because of my brother's recommendation, even though I wasn't sure it would help. I am using it with a bike computer. It was very easy to set it up and connect it to my computer. I rode my first ride in a residential area at a time of day when traffic was light. When I heard the car icon on my screen, I knew there was a car behind me because I had just glanced in my mirror. When I looked in my mirror, I saw a car pull away from the curb behind me. I had several experiences where the radar unit was picking up vehicles quicker than I could see them in my mirror. It's nice to know a vehicle is approaching you. If the car disappears, you don't have to wait to be passed by a car that is no longer approaching you. I did about 30 miles of riding on county roads on my second ride. It also shows you how many vehicles are behind you. I was impressed that the radar unit was correct when it showed that there were 3 vehicles behind me, even though I could only see one large truck behind me. I don't want to ride on the road without one. I want to get a seat post mount so I can easily move this device between bikes. I don't think it's a big deal to move the mount between bikes, but I would really like to put a mount on both of my road bikes.
👤I put over 150 miles on the RVR for a fair evaluation. The device adds another layer of safety and keeps you aware of approaching traffic from the rear for most of the time. I will explain in a moment. It integrates with my bike gps and gives audible and visual warnings. In rural areas, it can single out a car very nicely. In urban areas, there are so many cars that you can't differentiate one car from the next. There are too many audible warnings to make sense of what is about to happen. The main problem with the Varia is that it is hard for me to know if I am on a bike without an audible alert. Sometimes there is no audible alert at all. Sometimes there is only an audible alert after the car passes. What a great thing that is? I might have a faulty device and will return it for a new one. I'll make a new review after I test out the new one. It gives you the opportunity to manage the road better and for enhanced safety when Varia works properly. I don't think it's consistent performance. What good is the visual alert without an audible tone? Even if it worked, there is no substitute for the helmet mirror. They are a good team.
