👤The delivery was done in two days. The back of the camper has a 2 inch hitch mount. The hitch and bike rack meet and we put the stabilizer on where the hitch and bike rack meet. The rack is made so it doesn't wobble. The tie downs on the wheels were reinforced with additional straps. It didn't have to have either of these additions because the bikes are very heavy and expensive and we travel long distances. We purchased the bars for the step through bikes from Amazon to make sure we could properly lock them down. Adding the stabilizer to the hitch, the straps and the bars to the bike rack would have added more security. This is a nice rack that holds our bikes. We secured the cover for the bikes with bungee cords. Works well!
👤I gave up waiting for a Hollywood Rack Carrier after waiting for over half a year. It was highly recommended for use on a 5th Wheel RV, so I tried it out. The order was filled and I received it four days later. Assembly was fairly easy using the instructions, but there were two questions: first, the reflectors on each side of the bottom tire bars when installed face upward, which would not reflect and second, the headlights on the wrong side of the vehicle, which were stuck on the wrong side. Doesn't matter if bike cover goes over them. The only way the Velcro works is after you loop the strap around the tire, you need to twist it to get it to stick on the fabric, again, no problem. The lock to secure your rack to your RV and the two locks to secure bike to rack are all locks with one key. The locking key can be tight at times, but the movements on the holding bar will solve any issues. When depressing the locking lever and moving the securing hook, be aware that pitching can occur. There is a If you want to prevent up/down/side movement from the play in your hitch, buy a hitch tightener on Amazon, it is very inexpensive and could save you a lot of money. The upper bar on men's bikes is not included in our eBikes. It will not work on step through or women's bikes without a bar adapter. If you want to protect your investment in your eBike, strongly suggest a transportation bike cover. I always go one size larger than what I have, 2 bikes, 3 bike cover, I purchased a Team Obsidian three bike transportation cover. All of these items can be found on Amazon. The handlebars on my bike have different configurations and I need to tie a towel around my left one to keep my side mirror and brake lever from scratching. Do your research to find out what is best for you. Hope this helps. The biking season in northern Michigan is almost over. I have taken a few trips with the above items and have not had any problems. You don't need to buy a separate cover if you take the cover off. There is a Update 10/12/21 The photo above might help you answer your question about attaching the small wire pigtail.

👤Didn't need to look at instructions to assemble. The seat post and forks are wider than normal, which makes it hard to get a rack for my pro-road bike. The rubber gasket selections on this guy are not random. It hasn't made my bike heavier. And it's sleek. Love the color.
👤It's easy to install. Works well. Looks good. This is on a Trek Cobia that I am turning into an adventure bike. It's a little heavy. The price was great. I was having a hard time finding a rack that was built for my bike, but this one fits perfectly.
👤I would give it 5 stars if I had any experience with it. They provided pictures step by step, but it was a bit confusing for me. There is a straight forward video on YouTube. It took me 40 minutes.
👤Instructions are not included. It looks like someone was trying to put it together. It was taken back by Amazon. Someone else might get a full package if they buy it.
👤Before you start, you must read through the instructions and get a feel for where you will place the supports. Follow the directions to avoid the problem. There is a It is necessary to plan first.
👤An important piece was missing when my product arrived. I had to buy a nut at the store to close the clamp because I wasn't able to attach the rack to my seat. It took a long time to figure it out. There were no unused screws or nuts.
👤The rack looks nice. It's what I wanted. I'm happy.
👤It might work better with a different bike. I'm 5'2” and need to be all the way down to ride in my cruiser. It wasn't worth it to be extra high up.
👤I don't know what to think about the tissues that came with the bike rack. Are they anticipating a big event? Will I cry? Was it possible that I would cry upon opening this package? There is a I'm shocked. There is a I am very happy with my purchase, the rack is exactly what I wanted. Including the "extras".
👤One should be handy and knowledgeable to be able to install this. If you don't have enough room for this rack to mount to your seating rod, it will be useless to you. This is an expensive item.
👤Excellent rack! I forgot to pay attention to the wires on the side of the bike where the downward supports would go. I was fortunate to be able to make it work as there was a part where the wire was not exposed, however the support is at max extension so I would have had an issue. It looks good and is silent.

👤I bought this to haul my bike around on my jeep. I had less than 100 miles with it on my jeep before one of the cheap plastic straps meant to hold the tires in place broke, and my brand new bike popped loose, fell behind my jeep and was dragged until I could pull over. The rear tire was held in place with a locking cable. I ripped a hole in the side of the tire. I know my way around tools. I drove it less than 100 miles from the time the rack was mounted on my jeep, all on paved streets in my area. My travels have been limited to short local drives for the last few months. My point was that this rack wasn't taken off the road. It held a single bike for just over a week and a half before the strap broke and it bounced my brand new mongoose fat tire bike off of the road. I was very disappointed all the way around. There is a The back gate of a jeep is blocked by this rack, it's a note for jeep owners. It folds out of the way, which is pretty cool if you drive a Subaru Forrester. It makes your rear gate functionally inaccessible if you have a trailer hitch mount on a jeep.
👤I needed a rack that would fit the top tube of my commuter bike, so I was looking for a platform type bike rack. I wanted a rack that folded up against the car and a rack that tilted down when the bikes were loaded to access the back hatch of my car. I needed a rack that would fit my car's receiver but also my van's, and the Current had all of these features. I have had the rack for a couple of months and so far no problems, the entire rack is made from steel and the only plastic bits are the release levers and the ratchets for the top tube hooks. The lock on the rack can be operated with one key, as well as a cable lock and a locking receiver pin. There is a The wheel trays are shaped to fit both fat tire and road bikes equally well and the bikes are rock solid when mounted with no rattling or shaking. I tried another rack that secured the bikes by applying the front tire, but it didn't work and the bikes seemed to wobble while driving. This rack was the best I had tried, as most platform racks were twice the price for these features. The only negatives I have is that it is a bit rattling when the rack is empty, but I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a platform rack that doesn't cost a lot.
Not only can this bag be used as a bike rack bag or bike tool bag with straps and buckles, but also a stylish commuter bag with a shoulder strap, or a handbag as well. 👤There are a lot of bad reviews for this product. I think a lot of people didn't do anything to have amazing results when using this bike rack. I read the directions. I know, right? Weird. I read the directions and recommendations and the rack didn't break my window, it didn't scratch my car, and it didn't fall off while I was driving. It worked. And worked well. I hope the review helps others. The rack is awesome.
👤I put this bike rack on my 2012 Prius V. Amazon says it doesn't fit, but it is verified by the Allen fit guide on their website. It's been on several trips up and down the CA coast, from 70mph freeways to stop and go city traffic, and no problem. It's not easy to put on a car, so bring a friend to help you hold it up and do the straps. I found a few quick tips from other people that worked for me: 1) Wrap the metal strap clips in electrical tape or 2) put pieces of rubbery cabinet liner between the clip and the car. Protects your paint from scratches and helps the clips hold your car. There are two more To keep the wheels from spinning, use bungee cords to strap the bike to the rack. bungee cords never hurt anyone You can put your bikes on the rack. I saw people putting their bikes on. The bikes fit into each other better and the weight is distributed evenly across the rack if they are alternating them. There are four After putting the bikes on the rack, tighten your straps. The added weight on the bikes will change the distribution and forces on the rack so you need to give the straps more tugs. You should have your friend lift the rack while you tighten it. You can tuck away the excess straps in a variety of ways. If you have paint, I wrap the excess around the straps. After a long trip, take the rack off frequently and clean in between the pads. If you keep the rack on your car for long periods of time, dirt will get up in there and scratch or stain your paint and/or bumper, which is hard in the California climate. It's visible on my car, but it isn't bad. Enjoy your bike racks with those tips. I would love to hear about any additional tips you have.
The bike seat post is used for the tube. It's highly verSITILE. It is an artificial top tube that allows for transportation of bikes with sloping top tubes. Protects your bike's finish with non marking plastic clamps. The steel has a black powder coat finish. Attaches to your bike's seat post. Push to operate pin and interlocking gate keeps the clamps closed. There is a limited lifetime warranty. The quality and design of the Bike Rack products are what they stand for. There are a lot of mishaps covered by their Lifetime Warranty.
👤The maximum loading capacity is 35 lbs. If you are going to suspend a bike by this accessory, you are limited to 35 lbs. I have an ebike that is 65 lbs and I will be transporting it on my carrier. The step is to be steady and not carry the weight of the bike. The adapter seems to be built to last and works well. I received it this afternoon and did not put it on my bike carrier. These are my first impressions.
👤I didn't know that there was a video about how to transport bikes with full suspension or bike frame that is difficult to load to a hitch rack. I almost bought a new bike rack, but I saw this piece of equipment. I used it on my ride and it gave me confidence that my bike is secure. I put some strips on my bike so that it won't fall off, which was so close to happening before I bought this accessory. I would recommend this bike accessory to those who have a carbon frame because it only makes contact with the stem and seatpost. This one is affordable. Can beat the price.
👤The bars were easy to put on the bike. I will wait until we can travel to update, but so far it's great.
👤So... Once you get the lights, it's easy to install. Not a fan of the whole support. I will use it for the kids bikes, but not my mountain bike.
👤The maximum load is 30 lbs. The maximum of 50 lbs is shown on the label.
👤It was what we needed for our bike. It was easy on and off.
👤The length adjuster is pretty good, but it doesn't lock very well and doesn't seem very sturdy. We will see if it holds up.
👤The grasping method is strong. My slide-out sides came loose. There is no padding on the bicycle rack.
The package dimensions are 1.3" ( H ) x 5.7" ( L ) x 2.9" ( W ). The attachment point is convenient to keep you visible. Increased clearance is due to raised mounting points. The rack is secured with grips that keep it from sliding. The long deck and rails have adjustability.
👤Adding a rear rack to a full suspension bike is not a good idea if you are not doing any real riding. Even though I never loaded it with more than the recommended weight allowance, it broke after about a month of use. The bolts were snapped clear off. I think the up and down movement of the suspension was too much. After almost a week, I haven't gotten a response from them, so I tried to email them to see if they would replace it. The product was overpriced and the customer service was bad.
👤The product works well. It's a good problem solvers and a versatile design. Why only 3 stars? The instructions don't highlight key points because the install is hard. They focus too much on the overall installation and not enough on threading and securing the straps. I was so close to sending it back that I wanted to mention 3 things. It's important that you have enough slack. Say a few inches past where it goes through. The strap can be pulled out if tensioned. The straps have a leading edge and are wrapped around. All the way through. Not a full way. All the way through. You may not be able to tension it enough. The mount is leveled. This wasn't obvious. I had a very stiff rack. The 4 screws should be loosened. But then what? I used a hammer to try and knock the arms up or down. Better idea. The rack is used. There is more leverage. Less damage. 5 stars performance. The installation was unnecessarily difficult. The prices were ridiculous. The basket and net cost us nearly $200, because one isn't included like the local rack. That's a lot of money. They work as promised. It's not like they're carbon fiber and titanium.
👤It's easy to install, but for a few reasons it's not worth the price. The manufacturer was expecting a few people to want this type of tour rack, so they had an intern draw something up and then micromanage the rest of the design in order to get it done. They jacked the price to make the rack look better to compensate for the poor design. The materials are cheap, but the construction is lightweight. The rack platform is not good looking, like something that would come on a child's bicycle. The tour rack's positioning arms are chrome plated and made of cheap looking steel. The side and weight-bearing portion of the rack are made of radius bent structural rods and the nylon webbing securing mechanisms are the only components that look like they were designed for the end- user. There is a The combination of chrome, steel grey, and flat black appears to have been designed to look bad, but still retain their brand identity. I can't think of a frame that would look good with this strapped onto it. It works, but only because there aren't any other like it on the market.
👤The rubber frame mounts should be fastened to the rack. I'm happy to have a mount that works on suspension bikes. The seat will hit on big drops if I push the basket back a bit. I modified the front of the basket to get closer to the seat, but kept an eye on the upper brace bolts.

👤There are a lot of great features on this rack. There are security features that lock the rack to your car and lock the bikes to the rack. Everything can be changed. I was able to get the bikes to fit together without touching them. It looks great when you fold it up against the car.
👤I have spent over $500 on Yakima and Thule rack and I use them 3-4 times a week. I decided to give the rack a try because I was impressed by the wall mount from the Vibrelli. It arrived on Thursday and I was impressed with the quality and features that I had 2 bikes on the back, each worth more than my car, doing a 300 mile drive for a weekend of riding and racing with friends. I put this thing through hell this weekend and it is now my primary rack. No problem with fat tires. No problem with rough fire roads. I-95 and 85 MPH, no problem, last minute repairs to your rig before go time, no problem. I only had to use the dropper on one of the 2 MTBs. This thing is solid. It's easy. It took about 20 minutes to assemble, with good instructions and quality materials. I would recommend putting your money in the bike. Unless you have a brand name piece of jewelry hanging off the back of your vehicle. I will be posting a video soon.
👤I replaced my roof-mounted bike rack with a hitch-mounted one and I am very happy. Overall quality is great. The instructions and how-to video made assembling the rack easy. My fat tire bike and road bike fit on the rack. You can access the truck with a press of the foot. The included cable lock and rubber pads are some of the things that really impressed me. Cyclists designed this. Would definitely recommend.
👤It took me a couple of days to figure out what type of bike rack I wanted. I looked at price, brands, reviews, aesthetic design, weight, and features. The features of the most recent and expensive ones were all present in the bike rack that I came across. I was not sure if it had only one review. It was put into the market recently. I think it's perfect for my needs, especially the aesthetic ones, there are some expensive racks that look bad when you leave them on, and they might obstruct the license plate and rear camera view. The 2 bike tray style rack was very nice. The parts and finish of the product look very good and the price is fair, as a Quality Manager I can tell. Positive reviews will start to show up soon, as it will soon be one of the most popular bike racks.
👤Wow. I'm new to the bike rack market. My wife has a 15lb rock Hopper and I have a 60lb ebike. We're going to get another ebike soon. A Kuat or Thule is just so expensive, because we just installed a hitch on our outback. I understand. They're very nice. Then I came across a book. I'm very happy. It is incredibly sturdy. It was easy to use. For me. There are multiple locking features, sold to me. You can save a few hundred dollars and support a good cause. I bet you will also love this rack.
It's easy to install on a standard rear rack. The rear-mounted child bike seat is smart and functional. The Yepp Maxi Easy Fit Adapter is needed for the rear bike rack. The seat is soft and shock absorbent. The perfect fit is ensured by the 5-point harness. The childproof safety belt is easy to use. The safety light attachment point has built-in reflectors. Your child's foot rests and straps grow with them.
👤This is the seat to have in Seattle, where a lot of families bike with their kids. You can see them all over town. I bought it even though I didn't have a bike to put it on, because I found a great deal on one through Amazon Warehouse. I put a seat on the back of my hybrid bike and added an Xtracycle Free Radical. I got a Flightdeck 2 for my Free Radical, which has built-in Easyfit windows. The seat is slightly more stable, and this saved me from paying another $30 for the Easyfit adapter. I had to cut out the Easyfit window from the Flightdeck 2. This was easy because it has a place to cut on the bottom. Installation of the Yepp Maxi Easyfit was easy once that was done. The included lock is a nice feature, so I don't have to worry about someone walking off with my bike when I'm out and about. My child is almost 3 years old and I ride with him. She is around 35 lbs. There is plenty of room for her to grow in the seat. She wants to go biking. The problem of the shoulder straps sliding off her shoulders has been solved by moving the harness up to the highest setting and tying the strap ends together. It took some getting used to, as it makes the bike slightly less stable, especially when turning sharply, but we haven't had any accidents yet. My friends have dumped their bikes with their kids. The seat does a great job ofcocooning the occupant and preventing injury. I used to use the backrollers on my Free Radical's p-racks, but they fit in front of the seat. I have the Xtracycle X1 Freeloader bags. When the seat is installed, you won't be able to fit the bags on a regular rack. The X2 bags don't work well with this seat. There is a The material is soft and rubbery and great for a child in the rainy weather, but also repels water better than fabric. We have a Bobike Mini front seat. The front seat is my favorite for a small child, as it's fun being able to point out things and have conversations, and it doesn't affect the handling of the bike. My 3 year old outgrew it a few months ago, so now it's either the Yepp Maxi or the trailer. I prefer the Yepp Maxi because it does affect bike handling, but it's not as good for conversing as the front seat, but it's pretty good. I like the trailer because I know my daughter will be protected from the elements and I can tuck her in with a blanket. The Yepp Maxi is the most likely option for transporting a kid via bike. It is more fun than a trailer and lasts longer than a front seat. TheTEST of days. The toddler-sizeJJ Cole Bundle Me fits well in this seat on those cold days. There is a If you have a compatible bike/rack, I highly recommend this seat. If you don't have a compatible bike, check out the Yepp Maxi non- Easyfit version.
Homee bike rear rack is suitable for most bicycles. The kids' bike cannot be used. The bike back rack has bike accessories and installation instructions. The easy to mount is a shelf for the back of the bike and a panel for the seat tube. The bike back rack is perfect for carrying things. There is a durable steel rack for V Brake and Disc Brakes. Night cycling safety can be ensured by the use of a red rear reflector. The bicycle cargo rack has bars that are W-shaped to prevent pannier from hitting the tires.
👤This product really negatively impacted the gear shifting when I rode my bike to test it out. I would shift up or down and it wouldn't shift immediately. I slip a few times because I am unable to anticipate the gear shift. Will be back. There is a The first issue with this product is that it can affect the gears on your bike. I took a picture to hide the gear line and pinch point. I have a Schwinn bike that has a telescopic side. I noticed it immediately on a test run and downshift. This is a big issue. The gear lines for my bike are welded to the bike itself, so the brackets have to fit around them to not impede the gear shifting. There is a The instructions for assembling the bike rack are poor and difficult to follow. I want to make sure the product is installed correctly, and if I am trusting it to hold cargo, that's worrying me. It's about holding cargo. No way of keeping it up. I'm not sure what the folks at Homee were thinking, but there is no way a product can balance on top. The bungee cord has no instructions as to how to set it up, it's possible I am dumb and it is easy to do. I'm not sure if it's possible to keep the cargo on the rack without it falling off, but it is possible. There is a They did not give me tools.
👤I like the rack. It's easy to install. It can be adjusted. It seems sturdy. It is designed to fit most bikes, with all the hardware and tools included. The mounting brackets for the seat post were too large to fit my seat post. I had to apply electrical tape to make it fit. I have to remove the upright support rods to get it on my car's bike rack. If you plan on going mobile, you might want to take a look at your bike rack, because I have one that you rest the tires on and use rubber straps and velcro to hold the bike in place. I am pretty happy. I'm going to give it a try with a bit of weight on it.
👤It's perfect! I was hesitant to try a product that had only 2 reviews. I was glad I gave it a chance because one of the reviewers posted pictures and a really good review. It's very easy to put on, it looks amazing. It took me about 45m. Someone with more experience could probably do it. This one is based on the same principle. Which is what I needed. There are holes on the bottom of my bike, but not on the top. I'm returning an Ibera rack and bag that I bought earlier in the bag. It's my fault for only checking the bottom and not the top sides. There is a It comes with a nice drawstring. My bag was well held. I don't have any complaints.
It allows for another fixation point for your rear rack. The seat tube clamp has all the functions. It should be black to blend in with your bike. The weight is less than 44 grams.
👤The seatpost on my Trek Farley 5 is 31.6mm in diameter. The inside diameter of the collar is large enough to fit around the seatpost, which in most cases is 31.9mm. I ordered a 34.9mm inside-diameter, but it is actually 33.5mm. I bought it because there aren't a lot of seatpost clamps for those who want to install a cargo/trunk rack on our bikes. I pulled out the seatpost, removed the stock clamps, and tried to put the clamps over the frame. Yes, no. I had to put some back into it. I had to look through my parts to find a bolt because the one that came with the clamp was too short to thread through the clamp. I was able to get a bolt threaded, but I couldn't get my seatpost back into the frame because the bolt wasn't causing the clamp to tighten down. I removed the bolt completely and still couldn't get my seatpost back into the frame. After fiddling with it for a few minutes, I decided that I didn't want to return it, so I took my medicine to it. I sanded the inside of the clamp, and then removed the paint. I easily removed 1mm of aluminum from the inside. I took some sand paper and smoothed it out, polished it and finally got my seatpost back into the frame. No, I'm not concerned about my shaving off some thickness having caused long-term damage or weakened the clamp. It's thick enough that I'm not concerned, and the stock clamp is about half as thick as this one. There is a * The only bolt that was used was the one that was on the frame. The bolts for the rack mounts were not present, but the description says they should be. Eyelets for rear rack, Allen screws included... There were no. I had extras with the rack I bought. I suggest a different brand for anyone not wanting to use their new parts in this size.
👤This is a very clever piece of kit. If you look at the photo, you can see my Marin cycles have mounts, but would require a lot of bending to mount. I didn't have to bend the mount at all. I wish it didn't have the ridge so I could mount it upside down and get more height.
👤I love this product. I was able to lower the seat on my ebike by six inches. This is great! I can sit on my ebike without feeling like I will fall over, all while retaining my rear basket and removing it from my seat post. There is a Why only four stars for a product that I love? The mounting holes for the rear basket are too close. They should be about an inch or two further apart. There is a They may need more material to build them this way, but they can alleviate the stress that is placed on the hardware of your rear brackets/basket. There is a It works as intended, and is a good choice for seat post mounting.

👤It was easy. It can be adjusted to fit any bike. I needed one that wouldn't cause a problem for the back disc brakes. The actual rack can be adjusted for personal preference. There is a I wouldn't recommend it for two reasons. I don't think it can hold it safely because it's an awful lot of weight and can make your bike very unstable when you turn, and number two, it can throw your balance off a bit. There is a I went to my local sporting good store and checked out the almost $90 version of the same product, which is the exact same thing as the other rack that is 2 to 3 times the cost. There is a You don't want to wait until you hear a crash behind you and wonder what happened, so you might want to check the screws every so often and tighten them up a bit. I would buy again. There is a A gift card in exchange for 5 stars was not part of the review.
👤The product is a bull. Don't spend your money on it. There is a I bought a third bike rack in a month from this brand, and I am fed up with Amazon bike rack products. I keep running into problems because this project should have been done a lot sooner. The bolts that don't fit the screws were the problem with this rack. The bolts/nuts didn't fit and the rack was loose because of the long screws. There is a It doesn't fit right, my second problem. It is not my bike style that is wrong. There is a I will be returning it for the billionth time. I took a chance with a cheap rear end bike rack that holds 20lb at Walmart and installed it with ease. I spent 30 minutes trying to get it to work, but I was so determined to not return it that I only spent 10 minutes. I spent up to $16 on a cheap rack, but it cost me almost $30 after taxes and shipping, which is combined with another product. That shows you how bad this product is.
👤There are no instructions for this product, which is ridiculous. This should be in the product description. You are on your own trying to figure this out.
👤The delivery was delayed because of the order not going through. The seller was very responsive when I contacted them, and they shipped the bike rack to me within a week. The product is a bit heavy, but that is what makes it strong. The installation how-to video on the Amazon product page was very helpful. If you want a bike rack that can hold a bike, this is the product for you. The leg brackets don't reach all the way down to the rear bicycle frame rack mount holes, but because it is adjusted, it is possible to adapt as in the installation video. It has screws on the bottom of the rack, which is nice, because my next step is to find a piece of vinyl siding or aluminum that I could bend into a hidden fender to catch rain back splash.
