It is possible to see Spider Safety with a daytime flash for 6 hours. Riding with a bright tail light in the daytime is more important than at night. There are two light levels: low for 30 hours and high for 5 hours. There are three Daylight visible flash modes, a Disco flash, and apulse flash. The batteries have enough power to reach a full charge in 2 hours 15 minutes. When it reaches a full charge, the indicator will change from red to blue. The indicator flashes blue when the battery level is over 20%. When below, will light up red. Remaining is 20%. There is a limited LIFETIME that covers any defects in mechanical components. The NiteRider taillights are engineered to endure diverse riding conditions. No tools are required to mount. Wrap the strap around the seat post for a secure fit. The Seat Post Strap mount has an angle adjustment capability.
👤I have dozens of lights, including from: Lezyne, Light and Motion, Cateye, Serfas, and many more. This light is not as good as it could be. My experiences with both of the lights received are the same, I purchased two of them for use on my children's bikes. We come home in the dark after biking to and from their athletic workouts. There is a The light is bright and crazy bright. There is a It is possible that you are neutral or pro or con based on your needs. I think the light patterns they have are very well thought out. If you have another cyclist behind you, this is not a group ride friendly night light. If you are riding alone, cars will not be able to see the light. They need a lot of riding patterns. I don't like their single dim option. There is a There are pros and cons. The battery life of the two lights that I received is not correct. After fully charging the lights, I only get about an hour of battery life, not close to the advertised 6 hours. I have back-up lights on my bikes because my children's lights died in the dark. A light that is not expected to last long doesn't end up being used. I wouldn't use the light on my long rides. There are two more The mount is garbage. The light pitch angle can be adjusted on the tightest screw setting. Going over bumps knocks the light from pointing towards cars. The light is heavier than before so rethinking the mount is even more important. The mount only works for mounting on a seatpost, and it can be rotating side to side. The mount doesn't have wide enough angle options and should provide more up and down tilt, based on the mounting location. The mount won't work on a seatstay or a seatpost that is long enough. Serfas has a best in class mounting system that can be used on aero posts, round posts, seatstays, big wide TT aero seatposts, etc. It's not surprising that the Serfas mount is patent pending because of the angle options. There is a Unknown. I have not used the lights in the rain, so I don't know if they use rain orDurability. There is a I would skip for now.
👤The quality of the helmet and bar lights I've owned is top notch. I was excited when I saw that NiteRider was coming out with a 300 watt taillight, which is specifically designed for daytime road riding, at a very reasonable price. It seemed like an amazing deal to have 5 times the light output for only $10 more. The taillight is bright, even brighter than some bar lights. It was a good sign that drivers would see me on the road when several people complained about how blindingly bright it was. I assumed that with a 6 hour life in flashing mode, it would be enough for long rides. When the light first came out, the advertisements, the product box, and their video claimed a minimum 6 hour life in fast flash mode #1, but now I see they have lowered this to 5.5 hours. I only got 3.5 hours of light in flashing mode. I tried this 3 times riding outside and then finally tried it on a desk and I knew the exact battery life for sure. It lasted 3.5 hours all the time. I used an AC wall charger and a computer to charge the light, in case there was a difference between the two. I can't rely on this light for my long rides of 70 miles or more. There were no reviews online when I was an early adopter, but now I see that there are other people with similar complaints. I returned the light for a refund. I hope that they can fix the defect so that I can buy the 250 again or the 250 in the future, as I would like to buy this again or the 250 in the future, for the strong lumen output. I can't recommend this light for any ride longer than 3.5 hours, and even for commuters, because they need to charge this light every night to ensure adequate battery life.

The product is covered by a warranty. 30 days Money Back Guarantee with 1 year free replacement warranty is what they offer, they are so confident that you will love this product.
👤The rubber strap around the seatpost makes it easy to install light. The alternate method of removing it from the rubber strap is poorly engineered. The seatbag tab is not held tightly by the clip. The first time I rode with the light clipped to the seatbag tab, I lost it because it bounced out of the tab because it did not clip tightly to the tab. I hope you don't use it after reading this review.
👤I ordered the screw mount and got the strap mount, but I'm not sure if I'll get the screw mount again. The strap might be easy, but on a mountain bike it means "easy off", which isn't what I am looking for. I don't know why Amazon has an explicit screw mount option if they don't honor it. I will not get to try the light.
👤Many reviews talk about how they were shipped the wrong mount for the light. I was wondering what was going to happen, but I was very happy to find out that the package contains both the strap mount and the screw mount. I was happy to see that this package came with both options, and that the screw type mount is more secure than the other options. There is a The light can be seen from over 50 yards away in broad daylight and from a wide angle. The mode that is set up in my lights will get your attention the best, and that is the blinking mode. The case is easy to open, and the batteries seem to last a long time. I put in some generic store brand alkaline batteries six months ago and the lights are still bright. I was annoyed that the lights didn't have batteries, but usually when the manufacturer includes batteries they're the cheapo kind and don't last that long. It's alright. There is a This 2-pack is a bargain and I paid a lot for it.
👤I have been using this light for a while. Here are the positives: It's bright even during the day. I use the blinking mode the most, because it draws the most attention. 2. The batteries seem to last a bit too. I have had it on for 5 to 6 hours a week for the past 2 months and it doesn't look like the battery is running out. 3. It did not break after falling from the clip onto the pavement. 4. I have used it while it was raining and there was no water leaking inside. There is a There are points for improvement and the reasons I deducted one star. The weight: The light is on the heavy side with the batteries. There are lighter alternatives if you want to maximize your bike weight. 2. The light is strapped to the under-seat saddle bag. The clip isn't strong enough to hold it in the rough roads. It would be great if there was a lock on the clip to keep the light from slipping out. I put some tape on the clip to hold it in place and it worked well. There is a This is a great light for the price.
Attach the ByDiffer 4 pin back adhesive neon led lights to a clean, dry surface to finish installation. If you want to do more of it yourself, you need to get an extra 4-Pin LEDs and cut the strip lights according to your situation. The led strip lights are long enough to illuminate your entire bedroom. Waterproof design. The motorcycle rear led helmet light is waterproof and looks stylish at night. There is a helmet light, a cable for the internet and 2 hooks. Always On, flash, and warning are the three modes. You can use the one button switch. The red Helmet lamp is powerful and will keep you visible. It can be used with any brand and model motorcycle helmet. It's easy to install and remove. It looks good on a helmet. A built-in rechargeable battery can be used for up to 8 hours of power. The battery is powered by a rechargeable battery. Protect your safety. Under bad weather and poor visibility, led helmet lights make you visible to others.
👤I put a light on the back of my helmet and it was so bright I couldn't believe it. You can't see it directly. If you clean the surface with standard household alcohol first, the mounting tape shouldn't have any issues falling off. You will be seen at night using this light. Highly recommend it.
👤I live in a state that has afternoon rains every day in the summer. These little lights are tough, no worries. I ride a lot at night. It's always good to have a little extra light. I charge them once a week. Great buy.
👤What a great idea, a great product and value. The quality of the price is not inferior. My wife was a little skeptical but I used it the first morning and she couldn't believe how visible it was. You will be very pleased if you get one. I use it during the day as well.
👤I bought 2 trailstrike helmet lights for my boyfriend and I. The visibility is amazing when we ride at night. I followed my boyfriend on his bike while testing it out. I was able to see him from a long way away. The battery was fully charged last week. It has 3 different modes, including the hazard mode in case of an emergency. I recommend this product if you want to be seen at night.
👤The cupola does not stay on the hill.
👤Muchas personas deberan usar, realmente, es bueno. No te pasan. La batera es una locura. es el segundo.
👤It is elegant. The motorcycle or bicycle has a bright led. It's easy to switch to either helmet.

They will solve the problem for you as soon as possible if you contact them.
👤I had the rear light plugged in and charging a couple nights ago, but it shot up out of the device when there was no sound or warning. I was able to blow out the fire after it was reduced to four inches high. I was in the room at the time. It was very likely that it would have burned down my house with me and my family in it. There is a I think the battery exploded, but there is no doubt it was faulty.
👤So far, so good. The blinking function on the headlight is making me pretty visible, and it's illuminating every street sign, stop sign, and even license plates in my path. One car flashed their brights at me. The cars are giving me a lot of room because the taillight stays part of the back of the frame. The quick release for the headlights is easy, but it takes a bit of tugging with the rear light to get it to work. Look at the video to see how bright they are. If you're on the fence, get them.
👤The white light is useless for me because the mount doesn't fit on my road bike handlebars. I measured the middle section of the handlebars and it's 4 inches. The brackets don't close and secure. There is a I'll be returning and buying a different product. I own a women's road bike.
👤I was contacted by the seller who offered a replacement light set. The new style brackets are better. The rubber brackets are easier to attach to my larger handlebars. It seems like it will hold the light. I have only done a test ride and haven't taken a long ride yet. Excellent customer service and a new style brackets. Thanks! There is an oblique review. I had these on my old bike for a while and they worked well. It's easy to refill. I wanted to change the handlebars on my new bike but the front light brackets were too small. The product picture has rubber in it, but the brackets are hard plastic. I was able to keep it with zip ties, but the screw that holds the light to the brackets fell off, and the light flew off into the street. Not even going to stop and pick you up. The rear light is still on. It can't be mounted on an under saddle bag.
👤Both lights have the same issues, but they are bright and easy to put on. I can't use my fingers to open buttons, I have to use a pointed object. I've been using a house key to push the buttons because my finger tips can't push the switch far enough into the body of the lights. Both front and rear. The front light strap doesn't have enough traction to keep it fixed in position so it moves either up or down when the lights shift around. The rear light is a little bit different than the front light. I have to change the headlights after every speedbump or curb I go over because they are useless on a night off road trail. I think it would break if I stretched the strap tighter. I ordered a bigger diameter handlebar and stem, so that the light will stay better on the new one. I bought these because the cops don't ticket me for riding at night without lights. Home of the free and brave?

The bike tail light can be charged by computer, power bank or other electronic equipment with theusb interface, 3 hours are enough to fully charge the light, then the bike tail light is durable for a long time use. People can mount waterproof cycling taillight on their bike frames, belts, reflective vests, backpacks, dog collar, or other suitable places, suitable for bicycle, skateboard, scooter, wheelchair, etc.
👤Everyone said I looked like a police car when I wore the blue flashing lights mode. I was easily seen from over a mile away because they were bright. There is a The lights stopped for no reason. The average run time was 2 1/2 to 3 hours when they worked. 3 hours isn't enough time for me to run. They were used as a backup light for my other light which has a run time of at least 12 hours. I returned them because they could not improve the run time and reliability. If you commute around an hour, they might work for you. There is a The rubber mounting system wasn't tight enough around the seat stays, and I had to attach the lights to my seat stays.
👤The product is bad. One of them was broken before I used it. There is a The batteries used in the production of these are not good. I can have one of them charge up in an hour and run for 10 hours straight and another one will take 6 hours to charge and only run for 30 minutes, even though they're all set to the exact same output levels, and every one of them was indicating that it was fully Even though I used the lower setting, these are still pretty bright. I can see them far more than a football field. I wouldn't buy this again. I can't return them because I don't have complete product anymore, and some of them were stolen. I have to park on the side of the street because there isn't enough shoulder to get out of the road. I bought these to illuminate my car even when it's not on because I don't want to run my car all night long. The picture is of them at a lower setting. I'm going to go to my local store to find better mounts.
👤The items arrived on time. There is a It's smaller than what I've measured in my head. I'm thankful! There is a It's bright enough to catch drivers who are paying attention to the road. I can attach it to my bike, backpack, helmet, wagon, because it is versatile. Will post an update after 30 days. I hope things go well for this little wonder. It's a good thing.
👤I ride a bike. This is a good light. I put one on each of my daughters bikes and another on my bike trainer to see the gears when the lights are off. The value is great. The attachment to the bike is light and can fall off if it's not fastened.
👤Three out four were good. The seller contacted the other one several times and never replaced it, even though the inside parts were damaged. They never sent a replacement, even though they were promised one. When I sent them the first email, they were like, "We got you" and to this day, nothing. Spend your money somewhere else if you buy at your own risk.

👤I've been avoiding biking at night because the neighborhood I live in is shady and there aren't many lights. I bought this after searching and comparing reviews for a long time. There is a This is the best purchase I've made on Amazon. I used it two nights ago and the moment the light came on the signs and the reflectors three blocks down were illuminated by the Blitzu. I kept looking behind me because I thought a car was coming because the road was in front of me. This might be brighter than my car's headlights. There is a The headlight comes off its mount so you don't have to redo it every single time. The lighting package for your bike is worth every penny because of the simple yet effective rear light. Take advantage of the reduced price and get this.
👤The on/off button stopped working after 2 months but the customer service ignored me.
👤The Blitzu 320 was delivered today. It was placed on my Diamondback. It's nice and bright. Powerful. The rear light is bright. Both were easy to mount.
👤The best bike lights! They're easy to fix. The team was praised.
👤We bought this one for our daughter's bike. The first week of February, we charged it. I noticed it wasn't turning on. We paid for the plug in. The blue light went off. It doesn't turn on after a day of charge. I sent 3 e-mails. 2 via Amazon and 1 via the website. There is a one year warranty and customer support. None exists in my experience.
👤My only mode of transportation has been my bike. There are times when I have to ride in the dark. The head light is great for the price. If you want more power, Blitzu has it on their website. The light is waterproof. The product description has the details. If you want to move it left or right, the base is easy to set up, no tools are required. The light is easy to use as a flash light because it is sliding off the base. There are 4 settings. Medium, high blink. There is a button to cycle through settings. The battery has ausb. The battery seems to last a long time. I understand that this is not a good measurement of time. It has a base, light, and a small tail light. This is a good deal. Check it out.
👤When I started working the afternoon shift at my current job, I was unsure as to when I would get the chance to ride the bike. The late wake up in the early afternoon meant little time before work to ride. I looked at some bike lights that were on sale on Amazon. Without a bright enough light, riding at night is a whole different experience and can lead to road defects. The headlight I bought was the Blitzu Gator 320. There is a I used to run a cheap Walmart light with a max brightness of around 60. This light is enough to help you be seen by others, but not enough to light the way in front of you. The battery life is bright. I found that a light of around 250 to 350 lumens should suffice to allow me to train on the roads I know in the Cumberland Valley. I found the Blitzu Gator 320, a light that is capable of spitting out over 300 lumens of light. There is a The Gator 320 has a run time of just over 2 hours on it's bright setting, and I've found it to last up to 3.5 hours on lower settings. It operates in 4 different settings; high, medium, and low, and a one-second strobe that operates on the bright setting. The previous cheap light was not as bright as the low setting was. I found myself on rides that were moonlit and completely dark. There is a If the battery gets low, the light may start flickering, which is an indication that the battery is dying. You can usually get another 60 minutes or so of use out of the light on the low setting, which will help you from becoming completely stranded without any light. There is a It seems like a minimum for riding country or unfamiliar unlit roads at night time. On a cloudy night miles from town, your vision range is only about 15-40 feet. If you plan to log a lot of night miles, you might want to consider a higher rated light. The Gator 320 is convenient. It is possible to charge a bike light with a microUSB wall charging or computer port and it will reach full charge in about 2 hours. Durability and Versatility. The light is versatile and durable. You won't have to worry about water getting into this light, even at 50 miles per hour, with an IPX5 water resistance rating. The quick-release button on the side near the mount allows you to quickly remove the headlight and use it as a flashlight without taking the entire mount off. The mount allows for the headlights to be removed, so you can see the deer on the side of the road with just a push of the finger. In the dark, beauty contests won by this headlight probably won't happen. The front end of the Gator 320 is jagged, but the rest of the shell is smooth, and the black of the headlight feels a bit rubbery. A power button is on top of a rubber cover. When I mount the light on my own bike, this positioning is usually reversed, with the power button on the bottom. The mount is able to hold the light in place in an upright position, which is more than enough to keep the light from rolling over. There is a Those who want to do some short nighttime training rides on familiar roads or those who need a bright commute light for late night rides can use the Blitzu Gator 320. It is affordable to most and is much brighter than those in big box stores.

👤Did I get a bad one? I bought this in the first place because it has great reviews. It runs through batteries and is not usable. I tried both Duracell and Amazon's batteries, but in both cases, I get one that's useless before the light dims, and in the other case, I get one that's useful before the light dims. The flashlight doesn't stay in the holster. The holster has to be pointed down toward the ground so that the flashlight won't fall out if I hit a road or sidewalk with it. This has happened to me a few times. If you turn the holster around, there's no way to get the flashlight in so that it points to the ground.
👤The light set is great. I've purchased a few bike light sets in this price range but this one is the best yet. The wrist strap attached to the front light makes it a flashlight that you can walk with. It has a better build quality than others in this range. The light radius is another plus, it can be seen in the pictures I added. Other lights I've bought don't really illuminate your way, but they do alert cars of your presence. You can easily adjust the width of the beam to suit your preferences. There is a The first set I ordered was faulty. I contacted the company by email and they responded within 15 minutes and sent me a new set.
👤The handlebar clamp works well and comes with 2 different thicknesses of rubber shims so it will fit a wide range of handlebars. The quality of the build appears excellent. I chose theremovable battery operated type over theusb charge type because in inexpensive products, theusb connection quality is usually poor so it's just a matter of whether the built in battery works or not. I have been using the headlight for a week and am very pleased with it. I can't comment on that because I haven't used the tail light. There is a spec. The headlights on the market show a lower illumination than this one, but it is bright enough for street riding. I'm only using it to be seen. I tried it out with a fully charged set of batteries, and it worked out well. The strobe mode ran for over 6 hours with good illumination, but after that it ran for several more hours but not very bright. I got about 4 hours of good illumination in the other two modes. I use rechargeable batteries for most of my items, even though I would expect better performance from disposable batteries. There's a lot of junk being sold online, but this isn't one. Maybe my standards are lowered because of recent purchases. I think this was one of my better purchases.
👤I love this package. The bicycle light has tail lights. If you're camping in the dark or raising a tent, you can use this flashlight on your own, even if the post attached to your handlebars isn't compatible with it. It's bright and has 3 modes. There was a rapid flashing bright. The flashlight has 3 batteries and it's focus can be changed from pencil thin to super wide. I tried it the minute the package arrived on a rainy night and it performed well and all expectations about the flashlight are met. I haven't tried the rear flashlight yet. The flashlight combo is priced right so I highly recommend it.
There is a 2 year warranty against all manufacturer defects. They have you covered for the years to come, because they are so confident that you will love their best seller light set. If you're not happy with your purchase, you can either get a replacement or a full refund. ADVANCED DESIGN. The tail light is powered by a battery. It comes with a cable that can be used to charge your computer, power bank, or any device with a port. There are light mode options. The Tail Light has four different lighting modes and an one-touch switch. Fast flashing and slow flashing are included. Installation is easy. You just need to slide the light on and off the mount with the one-touch dismount button. The Silicone mount strap for Taillight is designed to fit around most handlebars and seat posts. Get Ridding Safety: The wide-angle beam of the tail light can be seen from blocks away, so you don't need to worry about being knocked over. Buy with confidence. Ascher is dedicated to making sure you are completely satisfied with the products they provide. They will solve the problem for you as soon as possible if you contact them.
👤I liked the way the lights looked on my back forks and when I turned them on I thought they would be easy to see. I was disappointed after I stopped for a quick break and had been riding for 15 miles. I noticed that they weren't flashing anymore. I wondered if I had even turned them on, so I turned them on again. They were off when I got home. These lights are worthless to me because they have been a pattern. I do long distance rides and need to be seen by everyone. I will be contacting the seller.
👤I ordered 2 of them. One charges and works but does not work at all. I was going to ask for a refund, but it will cost me half of what I paid. I would strongly suggest that this isn't a seller you want to deal with, as I am not happy at all. I want a new light. If you really stand behind your product, then you will get a new light from me.
👤I almost cried when I found out that one of the lights was inside of the machine, but it was working perfectly normal. There is a I left it in normal blinking at 10 pm and it continued blinking until the next day at 8:00 am, but it made its statement clear, this is a quality piece. Thanks!
👤The light works well. It is to small to be used a lot. It's hard to be seen in the sunlight. It would work from a distance at night. I bought it for a day. It is almost usless. To me. I would look for a round design that has more lumes. I haven't found one yet.
👤I tested them on my rides before buying them for my wife. They were well packaged. The lights were on. The rubber hook strap is easy to use. Each light has its own charging cable. The light is bright. I can't speak for other's, but it definitely works. My wife and I cycle together. The lights are great when connecting the light to the street or traffic side of your bike. My wife says I need to get my own bike accessories, and she is very picky about them. These lights are very good. I hope the photo and video help you make your decision. One light is clipped to the back of her bag and the other goes around the inner nut of the wheel quick release. It's secure and doesn't move.
👤Starts bright, then shuts off. Is the unit faulty? Is it necessary for frequent charging? Yesterday it went for a couple hours. I contacted the company several times, but no response.
👤The guy at my bicycle shop told me that studies show that blinking lights on the back of your bicycle make you more visible and prevent drivers from clipping you. Enough said. I did some research and found these lights. One for the back and one for the front. The batteries are easy to install, and there are four lighting modes. I have used these on three rides and they are still strong on the initial charge. Highly recommended.

👤I think these little lights are great. For the price, lightweight, versatile, and bright. I use them on my handicapped dog's cart. The red and white lights are visible from a distance of at least 2 blocks. The white lights are bright enough to illuminate the path in front of my dog so he can see a bit more clearly. I did not expect them to be as bright as flashlights. One of the red lights was malfunctioning. The button wasn't working right. It would take many presses to turn the light on, then many more to turn it off, until the button stopped working and the light wouldn't turn off at all. The seller promised in an email that the red light would be replaced. I wouldn't discourage anyone from buying this product since the functional lights seem to be a good product so far, and I have used the white lights for about 3 weeks now. If you want to catch any defects before the return window runs out, you should start using all of them immediately. The red lights seem to be more prone to be faulty than other reviews. Maybe not a good one. There is an update. The seller contacted me after reading my review and resolved the issue. I am still deducting the 1 star because the batteries that came with the light seem to be inconsistent. The 2 white lights were used together. One light went dim after a couple of weeks while the other was strong. I used one of the red lights a lot. That died very quickly. Maybe that's why I used the blinking setting on that one. There is a I expected the batteries to last longer than they did. I can't complain since the seller refunded my payment. The lights are awesome when they work.
👤The cheap bike lights are perfect. They are water resistant. I was able to ride in the rain and they were fine. It's bright, but still small and easy to attach. I ordered more of the old pairs. The new ones seem to be lower quality than the old ones. Maybe they have changed the factories? The lights are dimmer. The old front light was good enough to light a path, but the new one is noticibly dimmer. Shame on the company if they have cut costs on a product that was already perfect. The old, bright light is next to the new, dimmer light. New light on top and old light on bottom. I can't believe it, I'm tempted to return them and try again.
👤We ride our bikes at night. The bicycle lights worked well. I could tell drivers and people were watching us. Unfortunately, one of the white lights did not light up. Will probably buy again. I don't want to come back since my brothers love them. I hope the bicycle lights were tested before shipment. I will update rating soon. There was an update on 7/28/17. I received one set of bicycle lights. The 4 are all working well. My brothers and I are happy that the seller responded quickly to my review. If I need to do business with a seller in the future, I will refer them to anyone who asks where I got these bicycle lights. Thank you again.

👤The price and description made me believe in this light. The fully-charged headlight only kept full charge for about 45 minutes before it was dimmed. By the time I got to the end of my ride, the green light had turned red and the little life left wasn't enough to illuminate the road. It will need to be charged every 45 minutes. I need something that lasts longer on dark rides. The back light is very chintzy, and I can't see it when I'm biking. The batteries were set in place with the help of crooked prongs. It's only $16 and the seller includes a 15. If you write a good review, I could keep the gift card, but I want to return it and write an honest review in case there are others out there looking for a long- lasting light. You will not get it with this. The seller included a few extra batteries for the back light, so that was nice. I will put those in my return package.
👤This is the best bike head and tail light I have ever purchased. Both units feel good. The elastic rubber holds the front unit in place in the road bumps. I have had clamps before that won't hold on road bumps and leave scratches on the handlebars. This one is gentle on the metal. There is a The tail light and its batteries are an added bonus. The tail unit has a rubber buckle on it, and it's in my bike seat post. This way, the unit's plane is parallel to the ground. The spare CR2032 batteries fit my garage clicker. I wish the front unit used batteries from the store.
👤I got this because of the reviews and the price. I am very impressed so far. The light is bright and there are multiple modes that are useful. I gave this 5 stars and plan to reduce them if longevity becomes an issue. I charge it in my garage when I get home, so I can't speak to the 10 hours run time. I did 3 hours and didn't notice any changes. I will be happy if this light lasts a few years. Expecting more at this point. If I had to complain about something, it would be that the button to switch modes isn't perfect and takes some effort to push. I use the main mode most of the time. There is a The back red light was a bonus and I would have paid the price for the front. The back red light is not a charging port. The batteries are shaped like coins. I think this could be annoying, but my pack of 5 batteries will last me a long time. The rubber band is stretchy and easy to take on and off. It takes 5 seconds to take off and on when I use it. I took these pictures in a dark garage. Would recommend.
👤The build quality and performance of the lights are better than expected. I have had two sets for around 3 months, which is not long enough to judge long-term performance, but so far these are excellent performers. The taillight is powered by one 2032 battery, but the headlight is powered by one 2032 battery. These batteries are cheap on Amazon and last for about a year. The taillight should be rechargeable. I bought 2 units separately. I would buy extra batteries at the same time I bought the one with 5 batteries.
The easy mount and theremovable one. The bicycle rear light can be flexible to quick install or detatch on bicycles, seat post, helmet, with the help of the saddle mounting brackets and silicone strap. It's very convenient to remove the mount cap. There is a daytime flash for increased spider safety. Riding with a bright tail light in the daytime is more important than at night. There are two light levels: low at 15 and high at 30. 5 hours run time and high at 10. 5 hours. There are 2 Daylight visible flash modes. 5 hours, fast flash. It takes just 2 hours for a full charge. When it reaches a full charge, the indicator will change from red to blue. The indicator flashes blue when the battery level is over 20%. When below, will light up red. Remaining is 20%. There is a limited LIFETIME that covers any defects in mechanical components. The Nightrider taillights are engineered to endure diverse riding conditions. No tools are required to mount. Wrap the strap around the seat post for a secure fit. The Seat Post Strap mount has an angle adjustment capability.
👤Really like the light. Since I installed this, every vehicle that has passed me on the road has moved over into the adjacent lane, never trying to share a lane with me. I lost one light because of a user error and it vibrated off. The charging port failed after 7 months of charging after most rides. The contacts in the interior have folded. It took about 7 or 8 hours of daytime strobing before the light failed after the last successful charging. It is not possible to charge now. I don't have much in the way of tools while I'm away. I might be able to jury rig a replacement contact when I get home. The light on the wife's trike is getting harder to charge. To enable a charge, the plug part must be set down on the table just right. I have put a magnetic connection in the filing to enable charging. I had to rip out the rubber weather seal to do that. I will seal the opening with Silicone after I return home to keep the weather out. It looks like they went out of their way to use the cheapest port available. I like the way it works, but if I can't charge it, it's worthless.
👤I don't normally write reviews, but I have to because I can't keep quiet about the NiteRider Solas lights. They look great, but they don't like the rain. The Solas 100 stopped working when I used it in the rain. I assumed I had a duff one and didn't think anything of it. The seller sent me another one free of charge after I contacted them. I bought a Solas 30 from another seller on Amazon and it happened again. It worked well for about 5 rides before it got wet. I contacted the seller who is going to send me another one, which I am currently waiting for, because this happened recently. My new Solas 100 hasn't been used in the rain yet, but I think I know what's coming. If you want to keep these lights dry, buy a different light and not waste your money.
👤I got this because I can clip it to my saddle bag, which takes up most of my seatpost. There are mounting options without buying 3rd party accessories and the design is waterproof. I've ridden it in the rain many, many times. I only have one cable that works, and I have to get it in the right spot, even if I have dozens of other cables. To power it off, I have to cycle through all the modes. It lost a star because of that. The battery life could be better. I ride a lot. If I shut it off when I take breaks, it will last a century. See above.
👤This is my second one. I fell off my bike on rough roads due to user error. There is a clip for the light that is attached to your seat post, and it has a snap/locking mechanism. You have to make sure it's snapped into place. It's secure once it is. It's bright during the day and I use the flashing mode on daytime rides. I've done a few rides without charging, and I think I've done a longer ride too. Highly recommended for brightness, locking mechanism, price and design. Everyone should have something like this. You are very visable on the road.
