👤My husband needed a phone mount to hold his phone. He is the foreman of a civil construction company and he makes and receives phone calls. He doesn't have to stop to screen the call with the phone mount. He has mounted it in his bulldozer so that he can see who is calling, answer the call, and talk handsfree. There is a He had a different one in the Amazon cart. We took a chance on this one and it was a good one. It seems very sturdy. He is being bounced around quite a bit, but he is not vibrating or wobbling as I have 888-276-5932 There is a We bought 2. My husband is fond of him. The other was for someone else. Both are very happy.
👤We needed a sturdy phone mount for my Co-Pilot's heavy phone. The mount is designed to articulate in many different directions so she can see her phone while I am driving, as well as being well designed and made. It mounted easily and securely to the illuminated grab handle by her seat in the RV, but with all the mounting options it could easily be mounted in other vehicles or heavy equipment.
👤I have it mounted on a golf cart. The golf cart has a round mounting system that mounts around the side rail. All the bumps on my course have been sturdy so far.
👤It's easy to install. Instructions need to be easy to understand. It takes a few seconds to put my phone in the holder, but it's worth it to have a secure and non shakey phone. Definitely recommend!
👤The phone holder is very strong. The whole thing is made of metal and is not likely to fall off easily. The phone is held in place by strong springs and will not be going anywhere I don't want it to.
👤A solid mount that is a bit bulky. Use all metal parts. It's easy to tighten and adjust. Highly recommended. It was worth it for the price.
👤I didn't think I had enough room. This was a perfect fit. I can charge my bike, watch morning news, and free up my pockets with theusb charging on it.
👤It's difficult to fit a phone. You need to hold the phone in your hands. I got the Quad Lock brand after returning it. It's more expensive. It's worth it.
The latest design. The bicycle phone mount has an exclusive design. Installation and uninstallation of mobile phones can be achieved quickly. The simple design makes you feel different. VisnFA motorcycle phone holder is made of plastic and is shockproof. No matter what the road is like, it's stable. The rubber pads on the arm are designed to protect your phone. The bicycle phone holder has an open design that allows full access to the phone screen controls and buttons. You can use the mobile phone gps function at any time. Shoot and record your travel moments, don't block the camera. Simply tighten the mounting screws to fix the motorcycle phone mount on the handlebars. It only takes a few seconds. The quick switch to lock should be closed when the brackets are adjusted to fit the size of the phone. Leave enough space to avoid damaging the phone. This phone holder is compatible with all 3.5- to 7-inch phones. It is suitable for various types of bicycles, mountain bikes, motorcycles, shopping carts, and electric scooters.
👤The holder is great once installed. I didn't think the instructions were user-friendly. I installed it by messing with it. It's easy to access the controls on my phone. I made a good phone video. It's easy to access the controls on the phone and I used it to stream music while riding, which is a little risky but shows that it's safe.
👤I bought this to use on my golf push cart so I could keep my phone handy. I used a mount that used rubber bands along the top and bottom of the phone to hold it. It worked, but the rubber bands made it hard to take a picture of the local wildlife and I had to take the phone off every time. The mount makes it easy to use, just flip the cam lever and the phone slides right out, then flip it back and the phone is secure in place. Even if you don't flip the cam, the phone will stay in the mount. When you turn the dial to adjust the width of the mount, it moves very slowly and takes a lot of turns to move the mounting arms. I thought they weren't moving but they were. It's not sure how large a phone it will hold, but it's a problem to hold an Apple phone in a leather case.
👤I returned the unit because of how it was mounted. I have an odd ledge at the goose neck that caused issues and didn't provide the secure mount I wanted, plus it almost interfered with my cycle computer. I bought this to make sure I didn't get lost on unfamiliar trails. This is an ideal mount for most applications. The way the phone is secured is very secure. The angle adjustment is great. For my situation, it wasn't ideal, but I would recommend this in most applications. There is a My other observations... The dial is not easy to use and the adjustments are slow. You won't need to mess with it once you have it set for your phone. The rubber pads are for different thicknesses of handlebars. It was not easy, but it is the only way to do it. Do I need more than 2? I need 3, I can't slip it in easily, so I need to remove it and try again. You won't need to mess with it once you figure it out. I would recommend it, but I had to use a different mount method.
👤The Pro Sits is very firm on the handlebars. Even with a triple layer protective case, the clamp holds my Note 8 superbly secure. If you have a phone with a stylus pen, be sure to remove it before you go for a ride. There is a Con. The upper section has some play even with the ball being tightened. There is a Overall. Even though it has a flaw, it's a good phone mount. This product is recommended by me.
👤I wanted a simple phone holder for my bike as it is electric and I like to plot my route as well as log the speed and the time. There is a I did not have to use the rubber pieces for my setup on the 31.8 handlebar because I used the phone holder as a base. There is a If you press the size and remove the knob, you can widen the mount to fit most modern phones that are very wide. With my electric bicycle, I've gone as fast as 21 mph, and my phone stayed put, and never had an issue.

👤During the time of COVID-19, I bought a bike so I could get some exercise. I was more than happy to review this mount when I was approached by this company. There is a The mount is made of rubber. It has an additional rubber phone holder to hold larger phones. Up to 7 in length and 4.5 in width. The device is very flexible. I can change my phone's orientation with ease. There is a The phone is secured to the bike. The amount of slip is limited by groves of rubber teeth. My daughter attached it to the baby stroller. She won't give it back.
👤The skyforce95 is very easy to install and mount, and it is secure and easy to change.
👤The Andobil holder broke off when I was riding on a bumpy road at 20 miles per hour. I contacted Andobil and asked if I could get a replacement. It took me a long time to use it because I was lucky to have my phone undamaged. I have been using the new unit for about 3 months and it has been the same thing. The Andobil piece holding my phone went flying and landed in the middle of a busy road when the unit broke in half. I was able to stop cars from riding over the phone after pivoting my bike. The phone was saved from damage by the protective case. It might be a freak event. Two times...no.
👤Delivery was on time. The packaging looks good. Assembly and instructions were easy to follow. The product is well placed on the handlebars. I haven't had any issues with the connections or the straps, it's plastic I think it is a good product. It is brand new. I would feel comfortable using this on a road or mountain bike. The bike can be moved to different bikes depending on my needs, and I like that it's quick. I love their proactive and responsive customer service. I would be very comfortable buying this again and working with this company.
👤I bought this for my new phone less than a month ago. It was easy to install. I only used it once, when I received an email from Andobil that another customer had complained about their mount breaking. Even though I had no problem with my original order, Andobil wanted to send me a new mount. The new mount is easy to install and I received it very quickly. It is easy to use. I highly recommend. Customer service is top notch and the product is high quality.
👤The mount works well for me. The rubber band holds my G5 in place. The side brackets are sturdy and l-shaped to provide additional safety. The handlebar is large, easy to tighten, and the soft rubber pads are attached to the brackets so it can't move, which was a problem with my old mount.
👤I've used a number of phone holders for my motorcycle, and this one is the best. It is low profile and blends in nicely with my ape hangers. It is easy to adjust the phone.
We greatly improved their phone mount based on feedback from over 100,000 customers. The plastic parts that are easy to break and the parts that are prone to shaking are all upgraded by LISEN. Their bike/motorcycle phone mount is easy to install and use. This bicycle Phone holder is able to grasp the 4 corners of your phone. The side of the clip has a locking button. The mountain bike cell phone holder is able to protect your phone no matter how rugged the road conditions are. The heavy case has a lock on it. Their dirt bike accessories are compatible with larger bikes. The range is 0.6"-1.3" , compatible with phones of the same size. The phone holder for the motorcycle/bike of the handlebar clip screw is firmly locked to ensure that it won't loosen. AJUSTABLE PART NEVER DISCONNECT: The new phone holder for bike electric motorcycle accessories has a metal screw fixed rotating ball structure, which is exclusive in the market. It's easy to adjust the cellphone to a horizontal or vertical screen, then lock it to any angle, so you don't have to worry about it shaking while riding. military-GRADE anti-bacteria: Military-grade double-thickening and reinforcement design is used in the handlebar phone mount for motorcycle. It has upgraded the 3-layer structure and metal screw connection to fix the rotating ball, which is a problem for other bicycle iPhone mounts. 15000+ times of drop resistance tests are still intact after 1M height.
👤Skyforce95 has a video review in HD on my YT channel, it's easy to install, extra gasket for narrower handle bars, and it's accessible to charging port.
👤The phone holder was in perfect condition. There were issues with the part that held the handlebars. I am near the center of the riser bar. The bar diameter is a very typical size of modern bars. The screw travels towards the opening as it is tightened. Attached is a pic. I tried with a thin rubber piece. The thick rubber spacer was also tried. Nothing helped. It looks like it may break because it keeps spreading apart. Will return it. I wish they used a simple mount like this one, it would be perfect.
👤I was trapped on my mountain bike. Working well so far! They give you a strip of rubber to make it fit most handlebars, so don't lose or discard it. I almost returned it, but I found that strip. It's important. I think some tape could do the job. It holds my phone and stays put. There is a small rattling sound while riding. The rattle on my friend's phone was a small complaint, but he was on the phone with me. It could be solved by using headphones. Or use it for something other than riding. It's an ACE product for viewing gps, navigation, and calories while riding. 4.5 stars!
👤It was very sturdy! It was kind thick and bulky. I like it more because it is thick and bulky. I think it will take a fall more than the phone will. It came with an accessory to help it fit any bike. It took me a while to install 4. If I needed one for my other bikes, I would buy this again.
👤The design was intuitive. There is an on/off switch to prevent the case from opening accidentally. This will do the job I need it to do.
👤It is easy to install and sturdy. The locking feature is great and the phone is held perfectly. ... But! The tabs that lock against the washer and wing nut aren't stiff enough to be tightened onto the handlebars. I had to add a larger washer to keep the mount tightly attached, and I'm worried that the tab will break off at some point. I'm not sure if it's due to me installing the mount on the bend of the handlebars or not. This issue could be avoided if the tabs were more stiff.
👤I bought this for my husband so he could use it while riding. My husband had to stop and take out his phone to look at the trail map because we are also avid ATV riders. I bought this right away to make it easier to see where we were on the map. If you want to explore different trails in different locations and different states, this is a must have.
👤I needed a new phone mount. It held my phone securely. I had to uninstall it from the phone and put it back in. There is a This mount is better than that. Since it has a small handle to twist, it's not a hex tool. It comes with pads that stick between the grip and bar for different sized handlebars. I didn't think my handlebar is that thin, but I had to use the thickest one for mine. The rotation is fine. The only problem I might have with this is that when biking the bumps cause my phone to look downward no matter how tight it is. I would. If you don't want your phone to move, maybe you should pay a little more. My phone barely fits in this.
It keeps your phone secure. The innovative Roklock quarter turn system and Roksafe magnetic technology keep your phone safe and secure during road rides and trail rides. There is an adjusted viewing angle. You can view and access your phone on the tilts from -20 to +55 degrees. It's great for listening to tunes, screening texts and calls. The military grade is militARY. It is made of aircraft grade aluminum with a screw to stand up to daily use and abuse. It's surprisingly light. This is not a cheap overseas import. Their sturdy bike mount system is manufactured in Orange County, California. Champs use: Johnny O'Mara is a Motocross/Super cross Champion and a master Cross Country Mountain Biking Champion.
👤The plastic tabs that clip into the phone case are different from the metal mount. There are four plastic tabs. I have to buy a whole new accessory and can't just replace the locking tab.
👤I have done around 12 triathlons and training since installing this in my P3. This thing has not moved an inch since I installed it. It kept my phone in place when I fell. I leave the Wahoo app open on my phone so that I can monitor my heart rate, cadence, speed, distance and time in one screen with big bright numbers. I bought one for my wife, but she has a Trek 5200 that does not fit. Before you buy, make sure your bike has a round cap with a screw in the middle that can be removed, because that is where the mount will go, replacing the cap. It has been almost three years now. It works great!
👤It is locked in the magnet and can be adjusted for the stem height. You have to pay an additional fee for their phone case. I had an older case that I loved and it was still a great product even after they changed it to use a less powerful magnet. There is a The mount does not move around at all. The phone has never fallen off.
👤I use this on my computer. The phone stayed on even after the crash. I had to remove the dirt and grass from the cracks of my phone. The phone was still on the ground when I got done with my pride gathering.
👤It's great to hold the phone on your bike. The three park system of locking, magnetic and strap work well and feel very secure. The phone is easy to install and remove, though I must say I kept forgetting the strap needed to slip off the handlebars at first. After trying so many products for my phone to be used in many situations, I must say that I am most pleased with Rokform.
👤I wish I could say the same about my mirror, it's rock solid on the bike. I use this mount when I ride my bike. It takes about three seconds to slide the phone into or out of the case when I'm riding. I've tried many mounting arrangements, and this is the only one that I'm happy with. I don't ride in the rain on my road bike. If you ride trails, you might prefer one of the cases that seal the phone into the case. The lighter weight and lower bulk of the case is what I prefer. The mount has a plastic bag that you can slide over your phone. There's no built-in battery, but that's not a big deal. I connect the battery to the phone on the down tube, for long rides.
👤This is the best mount I've found for my phone. The phone is in the center of the bike, and it doesn't make the handle bars look cluttered. I have not had a problem with the phone coming loose on the bumpsiest of NYC roads. The phone is easy to remove, which is perfect for when you need to park your bike. The only issue I have with the mount is that I hear a faint, light rattling sound after installing it on the bike. It sounds more like a loose screw than a loose part. I put my hand on the phone. It's a small annoyance and not a big concern. I would like to see a security bolt option for Rokform. In the city, I worry about my bike being stolen.
Out and out universal allows you to mount any phone to any bike or motorcycle with tubular handlebars. There are no tools required for installation. The extra secure clip has silicone belts that grip the phone firmly. The phone will not fall if it is made the most extreme ride. AJUSTABLE GRIP. You can adjust your phone to any position that suits you, and enjoy the comfort of your ride. Full phone access includes screen, buttons and mic jack. You don't need to unmount your phone. You should keep your hands on the handlebars. To safeness is 100. If you don't like your new bike phone mount, just contact them and they will make it right.
👤Quality purchase would purchase again or recommend it to anyone after being tested on the handlebars of my motorcycle at 90 miles per hour. It was on time. The bike phone and mount survived the wreck. I ordered another one because I forgot to remove the mount before the bike was totaled. Someone pulled out in front of me and totaled my motorcycle. The phone mount was left with the bike when the insurance company claimed it. The first thing I bought for my new bike was this. I bought 2 because I still stand by my original review.
👤It was easy to install and comes with an extra set of corner grips. I haven't ridden it yet to see how it holds up. I will give it five stars if it does. The product has passed the test and I have given it five stars. The bike path is fairly smooth, but there are a few areas with serious bumps due to blunt edge covers over electrical hubs. When you pass over them, they are large enough to get you off your seat. I have been on a few rides and there has been no movement. It stays nice and secure when my phone is strapped in. The main reason I chose this product was that I have access to all the buttons on my phone while it is in the unit.
👤I attached my phone mount to my mountain bike and went around the neighborhood streets, sidewalks, and trails. The trails ranged from packed dirt to rocks and gravel, and my phone stayed secure the entire time. There are brackets on the sides of the phone that would be secure enough for riding on the street. I attached the bands to all corners and my phone wouldn't budge on the rocky trails. All the bands were on when I got home. There is a The handlebar clip is easy to install. The phone can be used to portrait or landscape. It takes some gentle force to click to each position which I appreciate because it adds to the security of the phone. The phone doesn't move forward or back when you mount it, so you just put it in the position you want. One of the main criteria I wanted was that the rubber straps did not block the cameras. Absolutely worth the price and will definitely recommend to friends and family.
👤I've purchased a CAW phone holder before. The plastic adjustment nut on the back side split apart after a year or so. To return late. I bought another CAW because I liked what I had. I use it on my mountain bike, Big Dog motorcycle, tripod and a selfie stick. I think this is a better design and more durab. It looks like CAW has added this design to their product line.
👤This is a great mount. This is the one to get if you want a phone mount for your motorcycle. Two mechanisms are used to secure the phone. I forgot to put the bands on the corners of the phone and the spring vice on the sides held the phone with out issue, and I was going 70 mph down the freeway. I think that the reliability of this mount was proved by the fact that the phone did not move. If you are in the market for a phone mount, I encourage you to buy this mount. The Bands are recommended by the manufacturer for maximum reliability and will help secure on bumps.
The motorcycle phone holder is sturdy and safe. It keeps your cell phone out of the way on a bumpy road. The mount allows for easy rotation between portrait and landscape view. It's convenient to answer the phone, play music, and use the gps. Silicone pads keep your phone from scratches and vibration, and the bike phone mount is shockproof. Silicone is presented to better protect your phone when riding a bike or motorcycle. It's easy to install and use, just adjust and lock the nut. There are various types of bicycles, motorcycles, stroller, shopping cart, electric scooter, indoor treadmill, spin bike. Universal bike cell phone holder bike is compatible with all phones. The handlebars have a diameter of 21 to 28mm.
👤The frame is good and I use rubber straps to keep the phone tightly connected.
Satisfaction guarantee against material or manufacture defects is part of the pre-sales and after-sales service. Shop with confidence. The Squeeze Bar Mount is compatible with most standard and plus-sized phones, including a case and accessories, up to 2.3” wide. The Squeeze Bar Mount is easy to use, it only requires a pinch of your thumb and index finger to open it. The Squeeze is strong through it all and features a force springs that amplify the hold of your phone, along with grippy arms to keep it in place through every twist and turn. SMOOTH ROTATION. The Squeeze makes it easy to rotation your phone between portrait and landscape orientation for easy viewing of your route and apps. Most bar diaMETERs are compatible. The bike phone holder has a strap that can be secured to virtually any bike bar, stroller handle, grocery cart, golf cart or wheelchair. The Squeeze Bar Mount is perfect for commuters, hikers, and anyone else who wants a strong, secure hold of their phone.
👤The system grabs your phone and won't let go, no need for rubber bands or gimics, it just grabs your phone and won't let go until you open it.
👤The holder is quick to mount to my handlebars. I like that it doesn't cover the entire phone screen, but I need to use some corner buttons during my workouts, so other phone holders would have interfered with. It can be used to portrait or landscape. It was very quick to unclip the phone. It seems like it can fit many phone models. The photos have a mess. We received a big furniture delivery and were in the process of shifting things around. Everything went to the garage.
👤The bike phone mount is great. I use it on both bikes to keep an eye on our trips. I have taken spills on the bike but the phone never came loose.
👤It is well made, as it seems with all the Nite Ize products I have bought. The strap is a quick way to attach/detach from the handle of a grocery cart, I bought it for my wife to use. My wife's phone has a pop-socket on the back so it won't fit in the Nite Ize holder.
👤I love having my phone with me.
👤The phone attachment works well, but the handlebars don't. I secured it to the handlebars with a hose clamp.
👤The rubber mounting band can be easily detached by using 2 small zip ties, 1 under the attachment knob and 1 above the handle bar. The mechanism for squeezing is very strong. 3.14.
👤The marks were in two places. A previous return.
👤The simplicity and ease of in/out make up for the slip when going over bumps.
👤The build quality is good. It is easy to install. I can put it on the stem. The phone can be put on easily. You can release it whenever you please.
A simple mechanism secures and provides easy access to the device. The fiberglass core is lightweight and bulk-free. The aerodynamic build is extremely slim and lightweight. Action cam compatibility is not included. With the included universal mount adapter, you can simply put it onto your current case to use the gearlock mount solution. Universal Mount can be installed directly onto the device or on the hard shell case.
👤The Quad Lock system is the best way to securely mount your phone to your bike, and I have used a bunch of Quad Lock mounts on my bikes. I wanted to use my new bike immediately. I just got a new phone. I didn't have a Quad Locks case. Within 24 hours, I couldn't get one. I decided to try out the Spigen gearlock system. The Spigen version is the same as the universal fit kit with the stem mount from Quad Lock, but the Spigen might be a tad bulkier but is also lighter. The Spigen requires you to push the lever inward to release your phone, which is different from the Quad Lock mount mechanism. Both use high-quality 3M glue and hold your phone in place. Where the Spigen is better is in how it secures your bike since it uses a large plastic collar. The plastic screw is used to adjust the collar. The good news is that if you broke the screw, you could buy a large zip-tie and use it, but it feels cheap, so watch how much Torque you put on it. The strap feels sturdy, but the excess length is left to dangle. The Quad Lock uses elastic bands which don't need to be adjusted and don't have any excess material, but I found the bands moved slightly more than the plastic strap mechanism. There is a A very good system but not as good as Quad Locks. The Spigen system is a good alternative if you need a kit quickly.
👤I was looking into quadlock mounts but realized they don't work with the galaxy line of phones. I put the locking part on the black case that I kept as a spare for my phone because it was easy to install. I only use it for bike riding because it adds a bit of bulk to the case. It won't budge without the release being pressed, and I like that I am able to lock it in. The phone and case were kept secure and there were no signs that the case was loose. The only issue I have is that the mount mechanism is weak and doesn't tighten as much as I would like. It gets the job done. Attached are pics.
👤I work from my phone while I ride, and I ride 170-240 miles in a typical week. The phone mount is very important. Over the years, I've tried a lot of different phone holders. Either they break, wiggle loose, or make it hard to get the phone. I made my own phone mount out of desparation because the other products didn't work for me. I'm glad I found the mount. The phone mount works perfectly. The phone is easy to click in and out of. The phone case was incompatible with the universal mount adaptor, so I drilled four small holes through it and tied them together with fishing line. My device is underneath it. Works well!
👤The term "optimum viewing angle" implies some level of flexibility or "adjustability" with the connecting mechanism, as would be needed with swept-back city commuter or cruiser type handlebars. My email to the seller went unanswered because I couldn't find anything. I ordered the matching case for the Xs and then ordered the 7 case. An email inquiring of the seller went unanswered, as they apparently don't make an iPhone 7 case. I thought the Quad Lock might be a better alternative to the Gear Lock, but the Quad Lock has more case and accessory support, and the mounting arm is aluminum. I'm ordering Quad Lock because the gear lock stuff is going back.
The bike phone holder has an enlarged and non-slip base. Bike Tie Pro 4 is the most stable bike mount they have ever designed. Soft-touch Silicone material absorbs bumps and protects your devices and accessories from damages. It is designed for the needs of cyclists. Flexible Silicone bands fit most phones and cases. All of the above phones fit. Touch ID and Face ID are compatible with modern phones. The home buttons on the phone are not obstructions. If you have any questions, please contact Bone Customer Service.
👤If you don't look at your phone or move your bike, this mount is great. The phone works great in theory, but it doesn't work well in reality. Maybe that's cool for some, but I just found it annoying. Every time I looked down, I found myself trying to get the phone to work. I'm not paying attention to traffic because the phone keeps moving. I'm fortunate to have made it home in one piece. I decided to come back to my well being. I apologize for the bone bike.
👤There are four reasons I bought this holder. I want to be able to follow my backroad routes with a map, or hold the phone while riding, but I have to consult a map. I didn't want to have to remove my case to put my phone in the holder. I tried it in case the phone got loose. I don't think it will ever happen, but I did not want it to be the protection of the Otterbox. I wanted as much shock isolation as possible because of the rough country roads I ride. I wanted the phone on the stem of my bike because it was in the perfect viewing position, I have secondary cross brake levers on the drop handlebars, and there was no room for a bar-mounted holder. I've only ridden 20 miles with the phone in the holder so far, and over mostly smooth roads, but with some bumps and rough spots, and the phone has not only remained completely secure, but it has also remained in its original position as if it were part of the bike. I will leave a review after I ride some rough roads.
👤The product is very easy to attach to your bike. I would have rated it all five stars but the bands that secure your phone to the base assembly, my humble opinion, could have been made a bit thicker. I have had no issues yet. I'm not sure what the life expectancy of the material will be. Attaching the bands to the phone is important when securing it. The shock absorbing base is mounted to my Mountain bike and stays put.
👤This is the best phone holder I've ever purchased because it's attached to the stem. The IPOW Metal Bike & Motorcycle Cell Phone Mount doesn't work on a mountain bike because the phone is constantly tipping over the handlebars. I got the metal one instead of the plastic one because of the phone falling off, but it had the same problem of the phone tipping over constantly, no matter how much I tightened it, so I tried the Bone Bike Tie Pro 4. The phone is mounted on the stem of the bike and there is no post to break, which is why I will use this one on all my bikes. I have not had any problems with it on my mountain bike. None of the bike mounts I've purchased from IPOW and Vibrelli have worked well for me. The Bone Bike Tie Pro phone holder is the best so far.

👤All of the reviews are not for the same product. All Ram products are taken by Amazon and put up on a single review. This review is about a phone holder. The mount was already setup on my police car. There is a 1/2 inch ball but all the products are for a 1 inch ball. The problem was solved when I found a stick with a ball on one end and a ball on the other. I put the phone stand on the adapter. The rubber feet were kept in place with rubber cement. I don't trust the glue that came with the product. The phone can fall out if jarred hard, according to the reviews. The spring inside the hub can break the plastic knobs. The arms that hold the phone should be opened slowly and carefully to keep this from happening. I will buy an aluminum holder with a ball once they wear out. It's called a tackform phone holder. I thought it would be solid, but I wish I'd bought that instead. It's not and these Ram products seem way overpriced to me. I am replacing the mount with a metal one. My next idea is to place two balls on top of a cup holder and see how it works. It's called an ibolt triple. I want to push the limits before I settle for Ram's version of how to ride. The helpers who wrote in when I asked about changing the ball size were very kind.
👤I have been using Ram Mounts for a couple years and have not had any issues. After my previous mount was stolen, I had to get this combination of mount. If people can take it, leave it on your bike. It has fit every phone I've owned. A device of any size will fit. I've gone over 80 on highways and nothing has broken, no worries about the mount flying off. It should be nice and tight. Get a case for your phone and keep a towel behind the camera. Any loose rocks from other cars won't hurt the phone or camera.
👤The holder is great. The design is rugged and simple. The phone won't budge because of the grip it has on it. I have a sports car and drive like a madman at times, but this has been able to keep my phone out of the holder. I found it watching offroader videos and realized they were all using the same thing. I assumed it would work for them. There is a It's not cheap. It's made to last. I've used more than 10 different devices to hold my phone in place and this is the only one that works and gives me the confidence that it will stay put. The ball joint design allows you to make what you want with multiple adapters. I use this device with their cup holder accessory and it's perfect. Well done, RAM!
👤It worked well for my use case. One thing is kind of annoying. The X clasp is tight when it is open. The phone is no longer held by the spring against the wall of the round part, so it wiggles a little. It's hard to explain how I can change the orientation of the phone from upright to loose.
