Brand: Yuwumin

👤These are bright and will make you visible. If every republican was made to wear one, they would be of great service to all.

👤I bought these because they are very affordable. They're okay. I keep two lights at the back of the bike, one of which is a battery operated light, and the other is a Yuwumin light, which is on solid. After 2 1/2 hours of use, I need to change the lights. I can use one while the other is charging, that's a good thing. There is no way to tell if the light is on or off. I'll just get home after my commute and see the corpse. The battery operated light is still on. I wouldn't want to depend on the Yuwumin light as my only rear safety light for the price.

👤I got two for my helmet and two for my bike. They are easy to operate and last well for an hour daily commute. They are easy to install and remove. The plug fits a little snug, but it charges. I have not tried these yet in the rain or long rides, so I can't comment on their longevity or durability. I like them because they are bright, not expensive, and I don't have to worry about them being out of charge when I ride. I use them in full blink mode once a week, but they don't need it. I'm reducing the review to 3 stars because one light stopped working. I think it was bad from the beginning. The others are working well so far.

👤These lights are great. There is a I mounted mine on the back of my bike rack, which is normally used for a screw. Even in daylight, it's bright. The package states that it will last up to 8 hours in certain configurations. I have not had any trouble. There is a I would like to have a switchable back plate that is flat rather than rounded, with a hole, so I can use a screw instead of the band.

👤One works for a while and then stops. When a car was swerving to miss me.

👤The lights were bright at first, but not as bright as they could have been. I bought several because they worked well. The first one failed because the battery wouldn't hold a charge. The others wouldn't last an hour on a full charge in power-saving mode. The one that still works only lasts about 45 minutes, not long enough for a single bike ride, as all but one have gotten to where they won't hold a charge at all. The batteries have failed within a year. I would understand if I had only one light, but I would estimate that they didn't last through more than 25 charge cycles. I have other lights that are still going strong after two years and 75 or more charge cycles, and they cost a little more.

👤It worked out to less than $7 per light when I bought these. These worked well with the price in mind. I needed them for a bike trip on a trail that crosses roads, and I don't usually bike on roads. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I wouldn't use often. I have not had a lot of complaints after a couple weeks of use. These lights work great if you want two simple lights. If you travel frequently on busy roads, you should get a better light and maybe get supplemental lights for your helmet. There is a They're inexpensive. - They're easy to turn on/off and cycle through. - They were easy to attach to my bike, and the strap was secure. These are not crazy bright. Spend more money if you want crazy bright. - I'm sure there are situations where the strap isn't enough. Attachment options will be better for lights that are more expensive. One of the cables was not working. I think we all have plenty at this point, so I would have been fine if it didn't include any micro-USB cables.

Brand: Apace Vision

👤The light is fine. It has many functions and is very bright. I bought this light because the last light on my bike fell off. I ride on rough rural roads in Maine. There is a You have to remove the bike from it's cradle to get the light to charge. It wouldn't last on my bike. I would drive up and down the road looking for the spot where my light had fallen off. I don't recommend it for rough roads or country riding. I wonder how long the rubber band will hold up because you have to stretch it in order to take the light off. There is a My advice to the manufacturer is to use the nice light they have and use another way to attach it to a bike. It doesn't mean that it won't get some bumps along the way, just because it is going onto a bicycle.

👤Form and function are important. If you have an aero seatpost, the mount pads might not be the best. You can probably find a way to mount it. It's too large for most seat stays and doesn't mount on saddle rails or saddle bags. It's best for round seat posts that anything is possible with some creativity. There are a lot of mounting pads and bands. The slightly large size is good to me. It allows high total ouput without high intensity. It's easier to focus on and locate, even though it's still visible at a distance. The pad and band weigh about 52 grams. It seems to be rain proof. It looks and feels good. It charges in about two hours. It is consistent with the claims. There is a In the daytime, the daybright mode is very nice. My friends commented on how far up the road it was in the daytime. I think it's using a small amount of the full 100 lumens to get attention and last a long time. I wouldn't use that at night. The pulse mode is interesting at night. I am not a fan of blinky modes at night, but pulse dims and brightens smoothly without going off, improving ability to focus on the light while still getting some improved peak brightness without the reduction of a steady bright mode. There is a Mode claims. It comes with a manual with the modes listed. There is a 7 hours is similar to Slow flash but brighter. DayBright flash is 15 hours and brite pulse is 4.5 hours. Performance testing is done. I've done some quantitative testing on this light. I measure it twice the total output of a 50-lumen claimed moon, and it has a similar beam pattern. That light is a smaller and lighter-weight light that fits on seat-stays. The lights are not as bright as they used to be as the voltage depletes. It's common for lights to not have true voltage regulation, which requires a little more electronics. The low mode is about 1/6 the output of the high mode initially. This seems to be in line with the claims of one of the competitors. There is a I tried to test the daybright mode but didn't have the right equipment. It appears not as bright as the high mode, but it is hard to see fast pulse. I was able to get readings that were not far off of full brightness, even though I didn't have fast triggered sensors, and it's very visible from a distance. There is a After 20 minutes on the high steady mode, it goes down to about 75% brightness, but then goes down again to about 75% from a timed step-down, and then goes down again after 1 hour. I get almost 3 hours of running before I switch to blink mode. I'm happy that it's longer, because it lasts about 1.25 hours. There is a The two steps are not related. It would seem that they exist to extend the run time while still getting the initial high output. It is less likely that you will realize that the step downs are done in multiple steps. If I reset the light after each step down, it follows a similar output curve as the Moon light, and gets a runtime of 1.5 hours, not the claimed 2 hours. The high mode is like a "turbo boost". It will drop back down after you get through a few miles of dense city traffic. It seems like it's cheating on the claims, or at best not explained up front, and I think it's not an ideal configuration. If I want to use high for a short time, I'll do that, and if I need low for a long time, I'll change to low. There is a The customer support manager has been responsive and sympathetic. I think he's sincere in saying he wants to fix the issue, because he did discuss with their manufacturers and verify the issue. I don't think they can fix it and still get a claimed 2hr run time. I think it's still a great light, but they should remove the step downs. Their most direct competitor has the same battery capacity and they don't add up. I understand the need to compete to sell lights. There is a Overall: A long running light with great day and night capabilities, especially for the price, but some limitations in mounting options and some dubious performance claims that might not hold up to what you'd expect from the description. Customer service seems sincere in addressing it, and the light can still be a great buy, especially at the promotional price of about 3x less than the competitor.

Brand: Akale

👤Years ago I spent a lot of money on bike lighting with water bottle holder sized batteries. The Akale white and red lamps are amazing. For an extra layer of safety out on the roads or trails, you can add a set of lights that add visibility day or night. The units are small and lightweight. There is a A rubber strap is used to attach a handle bar or seat post to a bike, and each light has a clip for mounting on packs, helmet or clothing. Steady on hi/steady low, blinking, and irregular blinking are the lighting modes. There is a It is a key feature. I don't need to make a conscious effort to keep my battery life up because I run in blinking mode and never have to stop. Two of the 2-packs were purchased by me. Each pack has extra rubber straps and charging cables. The only negative is that one of the cables didn't charge reliably. I would buy additional sets of these lights if I had the chance.

👤The lights have power and rechargability that I love. I expected something smaller and less bright than this price for ausb light. I feel safe letting my son put these on his bike because they are on par with the more expensive lights on my husband's bike. The way they are secured onto the bike is not something I like. It comes in two pieces, one of which is a rubber piece that you loop around a hook and secure to your handlebars. They stay in place, and do not wiggle, or seem like they will fall off, but I have had a pair of lights with this fastening before, and they were stolen when I went into the grocery store. If you plan on using these for everyday lights, I would make sure you take them off of your bike.

👤The design is decent and so far, I've only charged them once. They are not bright enough. Looking somewhere else. There is a These are nice lights with a simple interface. The sets charged up in less than an hour. The white light is not as bright as I 888-276-5932s would suggest. These are not visible to the naked eye. Have not had time to comment on battery life or durability.

👤I bought these for my kids to ride with me on my rides. When the sun goes down, Phoenix AZ is a bit more pleasant. There is a The rubber straps hold in place to keep from twisting. The units are light, even rough terrain keeps them in place. Simple. There is a I used the headlights for a few laps around a dark parking lot before attaching the kid bikes. It's bright enough to see what's in front of you, at least 10 feet, from a distance. The taillights are very bright. The same as the one with a red cover. The battery comes with microusb cords for each piece. I have used more than 3 hours and haven't charged yet. For a good price, the all-around lights are great.

4. Dilwe Rechargeable Intensity Accessories Mountain

Dilwe Rechargeable Intensity Accessories Mountain

Installation and removal are easy. Bike spoke lights fit for most bicycles from toddler bikes to adult bikes with standard spokes, such as mountain bikes, road bikes, hybrid bikes, triathlon Bikes, touring bicycles, etc. You can be seen from miles away with Super Bright. The PC shell and super bright light make your bike highly visible so that it can guarantee your cycling safety. You can never worry about riding in the dark again. It comes with a rubber band that is easy to install and operate. The waterproof material ensures your riding safety. You can choose between 5 or 6 modes, which make your bike highly visible. There is ausb rechargeABLE. It's a good idea to replace batteries every week. It comes with a charging cable that can be used to charge your computer, power bank, or device.

Brand: Dilwe

👤The roads were wet but the ride was not in the rain. Water and sand were able to get into the unit after it was sealed. I was very disappointed in the integrity of the waterproof material. If you encounter wet conditions, I wouldn't recommend purchasing this unit. One day after the ride, there is a picture. After removing the rubber power button, I left it on my warm routers for a couple of days. The sand is inside.

👤If you ride for more than 2 hours at a time you should get something else with a longer battery life. I bought two of these initially for two different bikes, but ended up carrying the second one so I could swap when the first battery dies. I had to glue the light back on after I pushed the on/off button and the other one separated from the base.

👤Powerful little light is great for emergency services.

👤I bought this light a year ago and haven't had any issues with it. It has a long lasting battery that I rarely use. Its flash is bright and easy to change colors.

👤It does work. The lights are bright.

👤Good lites. I was stopped by the cops who couldn't run all 3 colors.

👤I bought this item. I thought it was brighter, but I still like it. It only lights up a few feet in front of you.

👤It's bright, but has to charge daily.

👤The built quality is acceptable, all lighting modes work as expected, but the battery life is short, only 2 hours max on the steady red light mode. There is a It's still a good light, but it doesn't last very long, and I was left without rear lighting on my return home a couple of times. If you are going to use this one as your main light, you should have a spare light as a backup. There is a The flashing light modes are very nice, and convincing looking, but I cannot use them on the road as it is illegal to mimic police/ emergency pattern lights.

👤Plastic junk is over priced. It was a total ripoff.

👤They did not work.

👤It's small. A lot smaller than anticipated.

Brand: Thorfire

👤Excellent customer service. I put the light on my bike after charging it for a few hours. I tried to put it on, but one of the bands snapped. I contacted their Customer Service and sent them a picture of the break, and a day later they told me a replacement was being mailed. The replacement arrived in 2 days. The light is bright and it hugs your bike pole tight, unlike other lights. It was sleek and bright. The strobe light is red, white and blue. Get it.

👤This light has lots of flashing patterns. Adding more than one red light/ multiple patterns helps to increase the distance that can be seen. In some states, this light will be illegal. The law in CA states that no person shall display a blue warning light on a bicycle. It appears that Iowa has a similar law. The light can't be used in a forward-facing direction in some states. Some don't seem to care at all. Before using this on a bike or vehicle, be sure to check your state laws.

👤For the past 30 years, I have been road biking in San Francisco. California has a law that bikes have headlights. I have always obeyed the law because I don't want a two-ton car on my bike. The best thing since sliced bread was the development of light-colored lights. The bright, multi-mode, compact, and inexpensive lights of the year are the LEDs. These lights come in any color bulbs you want. It is all good. I bought this light bar because it has a strobe effect, and the colors include blue bullets. Why is it blue? When drivers see a blue flashing light when they wake up, they are on full alert, and pass by me very slowly, at the speed limit or slower. They think the blue flashing light is a cop. Cars speed past where I walk my dogs because drivers are enraged with San Francisco's stop n' go traffic, and on streets there are stop sign or traffic light on just about every intersection within the city. It's like walking into harm's way when you walk a dog. It doesn't help that our streets are dark. This light is in blue flashing strobe mode. They are attached to my dog's leashes. There is a I am an expert on what constitutes an effective light that will keep me on the bike or walking the dogs in 2019. I like the brightness, how long the light lasts on battery power, and the different modes of illumination. This light is perfect for my needs, with an added bonus: I can set the two lights on my handlebars to use as headlights, by selecting the light to "white bulb, no flashing/steady on." There is a I call it the police strobe because of the blue light bulb on it. The blue, red, and white bulbs can be set to flash or strobe. There are two light bars on my bike. Depending on the road I'm riding on, I may have one light set to be used as a headlight. Sometimes I have both in "headlight mode". I may have both in police strobe mode. If you have these lights flashing in strobe mode, you will be noticed. The rubber mounting bands were used to attach the lights to the dog's leash. They deter reckless speeders from driving past me going 40 MPH. These lights are constructed well. They have a small footprint, which is nice if you are like me and mount all sorts of stuff on your bikes. There is a The bottom line is worth the money. There is a warning California's Vehicle Code makes it illegal for a vehicle to use white strobe lights if other drivers think it's the police. You will get arrested if you flash blue lights. The bikes are considered vehicles for obeying the rules of the road. We have to stop at stop signs, come to a full stop, then proceed, must stop at a red light and wait for the light to turn green. The rules of the road are not always followed. If there's no traffic, bikes run stop signs and red lights. Bike riders have been arrested and prosecuted for drunk driving, the same as if it was a car, not a bike. There is a I have never been stopped by the police for having blue lights on my bike. I think it's because police know riding a bike in San Francisco can be fatal. They probably appreciate the fact that my blue lights are slowing down reckless drivers. Your town or city may be different. If an officer sees you, who is having a bad day for whatever reason, a flashing blue light might become an issue. Use them at your own risk.

Brand: Wvlirod

👤It's worth every penny you spend on it. The battery lasts for a couple hours before you notice it is getting dimmer. I love the product. I'm not sure how long the mount will hold up. Extra mounts that come with it are great.

👤You won't find a better light combo for the price. The head light and brake light are very bright. The mounting system can be used to mount them to a variety of objects. The function worked as advertised. It was good to have night rides. I will be using mine for nighttime rides. The head light and brake light are easy to clip to my backpack and I can use them for extra lighting. I'm very impressed, but I don't know how long the batteries last.

👤It won't light your way. You will be seen. The front provided enough light to cut down on how dangerous the path was. Solid, slow blink, and fast blink are the settings. It's easy to install. Take em with you when you park. It makes you legal at night without breaking your wallet.

👤I'm getting a new back saddle on my bike, so I'm not sure where I went to mount them. I'm excited about them. I highly recommend. This is not an autocorrect, I broke my arm. If anyone wants to help me with autocorrect that would be great.

👤Exactly what I needed. I wasn't sure about the situation. The work was great. You can put them anywhere.

👤The rechargeable lights have a great battery life.

👤The skateboard looks very colorful and cool in the dark because of the lights. The front and tail lights make the skateboard safer to ride. The mounting onto the Skateboard trucks is very easy.

👤Even when fully charged, the red light turns off by itself. It happens when sitting on a table, not related to bumps in the road as other reviewers commented.

👤There is no focusing on the front light. The light is 10 feet in front. It's more of a light to put on your bike at night so cars can see you, not so you can see where you're going. The rear light is bright. It's bright red with a couple of settings that will annoy anyone who looks at it. Especially when there are two of them. I'm going to say goodnight after writing that sentence.

👤The charging is good. The coin batteries that were required for my earlier blinkies were a pain to change. It would get 4 to 5 stars if the plastic housings were not broken. If you are not too rough with them, then a pretty good blinkie.

👤They are easy to install. So far, so good, don't really know about battery life. It's a little tricky to get to the charging port when it's ausb port. The charge took about an hour and the light turned green. Over.

👤The battery life has lasted for 2 hours and is still bright. Highly recommended.

👤Excellent price for this product.

Brand: Sumree

👤I bought this for my fiancée's birthday since he is a wheelchair user and needs some streetlights to be seen at night. I had to figure out a way to install it in his manual wheelchair since it was originally for bicycle wheels. The lights are very bright and it is rechargeable. I only gave them 4 stars because the white zip ties they provided were pointless and I had to buy some at a dollar tree. It is a great product. The company should provide a how to manual for wheelchair users. Will update the review after a few days.

👤They charged them up and then got ready to install them. Four of the white zip ties that were supposed to attach the lights to the spokes were broken in the box, the first three were so brittle they fell apart while I tried to install the lights on the spokes. The poor grade was due to the fact that the company never heard back for replacements. Zip tie replacements from Amazon are less than $6. They worked well and it was nice to have extras. I shouldn't have had to pay for them. The install was easy once I had the new zip ties. The brittle ties made it frustrating. There is an update on 12/18/2021. These work well on our trikes. Sometimes one will go off, but if I turn it back on, it will stay lit for a while. The battery seems to have a 3-6 hour charge. I used my own zip ties to install, and so far no issues there. I ordered another set of batteries. I'm happy with them, but still annoyed by the brittle zip ties we got.

👤The lights are bright. The lights on the wheel turn off when I spin the wheel. This only happens with one battery. I switched the batteries in the device and it worked fine. The zip-ties that attach the lights to the spokes are terrible. When you try to handle them, they just fall apart. I can't ride the bike with the lights on because of the faulty ties. I can make a better review of this item if the seller makes good on the faulty items. I would have to return the item and ask for the money back.

👤The idea of a battery is neat. After a few rides, one of the two broke, and you can hear something shaking inside. Just enough for a bike party, you get 4-5 hours on solid illumination. But barely. I've never ran out of juice at the bike party and will be sticking to AA devices. The product was bad after 6 months. Not waterproof. Didn't last. The button on the module doesn't work. Sometimes I can get them to turn on, but not always. When I woke up, the lights were on.

👤I was able to get it to last until I no longer needed it. The lights were not as bright as they could have been. I was confused because there was no instructions to install the lights.

👤We bought these lights in blue. My daughter used to have no lights on her bike, she likes riding her bike to her friends houses in the dark, and it is often dark when she comes home. I wanted her to have bright bike lights to warn drivers. Most bike lights were either a single mounted handle bar light or individual snap on glow in the dark lights that were not very bright. I am very pleased with how bright they are and that they are multi functioning, and will flash or blink upon a press of a button. If you want to install them on both wheels, you will need to purchase two sets of one wheel. My daughter is going to install these on her wheel and then twist them around to make her wheel look like a star. I like that they are light. They are bright and will last a long time. We plan to purchase a few more sets in different colors to twist around her handle bars and bike frame after this purchase. I don't need to worry if drivers can't see her bike at night. Good packaging, fast shipping, and great seller communication!

👤It is simple to install and works well. My child loves it so much. You can either change the speeds or stay on. It's perfect to keep your kids safe riding their bikes at night.

👤The light set is awesome. Really bright! There is a I wanted my nephew to have some lights when he is out at night because we just bought a bike for him. There is a My brother said it was difficult to string the strings together but once they were done they were gone. It was very easy to hook it to the battery pack.

👤It took 15 minutes to install. I'm not happy with myself. My 5byearbold loves this at night.

👤I wrapped the pole around my trike. I tried for an hour to get them to work on my spokes.

👤It is shockproof and has a certain degree of waterproofness. The workmanship is good, the design is reasonable, the light source is stable, and the flickering movement is very dazzling, especially in the dark night.

👤These lights are bright. No way drivers won't see you!

👤The front ones only worked for a week after the wire broke.

👤The plstico is a video that has a subtitle that says "Se sencillo de la caja de bateras". Menos para adorno de la bicicleta, a las caras casi 300 MX. The color rosa qué ped, quieres tu bici, al menos sirven y llega el color. No te lo recomiendo, buscas es seguridad.

Brand: Brightz

👤I bought two of these for use at Burning Man. There is a very clearly visible pattern on the ground after I popped the 3X AA batteries at home. It's a good thing. If someone wanted to use these as a 'headlight' for their bike, they would be barking up the wrong tree. The pattern changes several times a second and does not provide a nice spotlight for forward vision. I want the moving bike to be unmistakenly visible in the middle of the dark desert, so I put this on the front of the bike. The idea is not to be hit by other vehicles. I hope the light doesn't distract the rider. Ha. I don't think my actual headlights will change the pattern of the decorative lights as they are illuminating different areas. The basket on the front of the bike will have to be adjusted. There is a The rubber that the bike's mount on appears to be a nice textured rubber. If it slips, you can use plastic zip ties. There is a I like the fact that the lighting unit doesn't snap from the clamp to prevent theft, or that it just has fun with. There is a I didn't want to look at the light directly because it was bright. If it's off the bike, or on the ground, it's better to put it up toward the ceiling. There is a Very pleased with the purchase. I think bike riders can't do enough to be visible at night. If I'm out past dark, I would consider this on my bike. There is a I would keep an extra set of AA batteries around if I depended on this for visibility and not for fun. I don't know if the battery life is good.

👤I bought them for the man. One was dead on arrival. I got two more. They don't put out light like the picture shows. The pattern is less dense. The first night at burning man, these were only used. I saw a few others using these and they all seemed weak. None were seen by anyone by the end of the week. You should look for other options for lighting your bike. A kid's bike in the neighborhood might be okay.

👤I had to return it because it didn't work right out of the box. I didn't get to use it because it didn't work, I bought it for use at the fun bike ride. After installing new batteries, the light would go off for a short time. I tried different batteries and it did the same thing. The quality is cheap on these.

👤It makes a good projection.

👤Disco! The CruzinBrightz light is the of the show and there are additional spoke lights shown here. Working from home in Washington state makes for a long winter. I bought some illumination for my cruiser and mountain bike to deal with cabin fever. We needed something bright enough to make us visible in the dark from around a corner, something fun enough to motivate us to get out for a ride after dinner on a chilly evening, and something durable enough to not have this mama going full Karen if it broke within. The purchase of this product was a large factor in my winning the cool mom prize. We are visible from a mile down the road and look like the cool thing since dayglow speed skates. It was simple to install and we're still on the same batteries, but a fat frame bike like mine will limit where you can place this light bike. After this picture was taken, a second CruzinBrightz light was added.

When you remove the paper, you need to put them on the valve stem and they will light up. 3 x AG10 button batteries per light are required.

Brand: Bluesunshine

👤They don't work. At all! I have a bunch of plastic sticks. The product was bad. Don't waste your money like I did. Holy shit.

👤Many of them broke out of the bag. There is a They last a day or two.

👤Unfortunately, they are not made well. They don't work all of the time. We have two lights on each of our bikes, but one might not work all the time.

👤Some worked but didn't last long.

👤Several items were in pieces. There were no instructions with them. It's definitely not a product I would expect to see on Amazon.

👤They are still in the box, waiting for me to show them to the repairman. I don't know how to put the valve-caps on.

👤The price is great for all the pieces. The lights are nice. If you screw them in too much or put too much pressure on them, they will break. Great deal, other than that.

👤Update 8/26/2021. The next bit is an update to my full review. I have to say that these lights are a terrific safety addition for any cyclist, even if they are derogatory, so please read the whole review. I am giving you the benefit of my experience on the road. The price for two of them was $16 when I bought them. The price has gone up to about $28 for two. Not much of a deal. There is a They are everything you could want in a car. I've had drivers thank me for having one on my seat post, and even mounted at the back of my helmet. You will be seen by people on the road. There is a The problem is that the port is poorly constructed and wears out. My lights are no longer useful. I asked the company if they wanted to stand behind their product and send me new ones. I didn't hear anything in return. They were going to get downgrade unless they communicated with me, and I mentioned that my review was the lead review of their product. Nothing. There is a What can you do? You can buy these when they are on sale. It's still a good investment in safety. If you don't need the light immediately, you can find similar lights with red blue flash for a fraction of the price on AliExpress. I just bought one there for $10, including shipping. It will take 3 weeks to get here from China. I am pretty sure that the one coming from China will be the same quality. They may eventually break, but for $10 I don't care. They can keep you out of an accident. Please read below for my initial review. I am surprised. The rear bike lights are bright. And very effective. I use a FlareRT as my rear light when I ride in traffic. The FlareRT is one of the most effective daytime and nighttime rear lights because it is bright and it catches the attention of motorists. It is light and built to last. Staying visible is a necessity and it is over $60. I wanted a light to mount to the back of my helmet because I believe cyclists can never have too many attention grabbing lights. I'm interested in the idea of a light that can flash red and blue like a police car, because every driver dreads that combo and stays away. I ordered the Volcano lights because I had little to lose. There is a These two lights are amazing. They each contain 10 bright LEDs that can be solid red, green, or blue, or flash any combination of two or three colors. They are very light at 28 grams. They are visible during the day, but come to life at night, when they dazzle motorists who may not see my bike, but certainly think a cop is ahead of them. I have two of them mounted on my helmet and saddle post. I was happy with their performance. Motorists are keeping a greater distance from me. The psychological effect of the State Trooper really works. The goal is to make me safer in traffic. There is a The rubber flap that protects the charging port is fragile and requires careful handling. The flap and mounting system are not as strong as the FlareRT. I know to be gentle with that flap, but it will eventually get broken for many people. I hope the company has replacement rubber mounting straps because that could break with a strong tug. I am not giving the Volcano lights any points because I am so impressed with them. Even if they only last a year or two, they are a very inexpensive safety solution. Excellent!
