Fit with a bike that's less than 95 percent of its size. When working with rough tires there will be load noise. Quite when working with road bike tires. rubber feet prevent scratching wood floor, works on any surface. A wide base and low stance for unshakable balance was built. The max load is 330 lbs. It is easy to install and release. The quick release is used to tightly hold the rear wheel. It's easier to take the bike down than other bike trainers. Handle bar mounted resistance controller makes it easy to adjust resistance. Balance from bike trainer stand is compatible with any road or mountain bike with a 26-28" wheel.
👤It works for now.
👤I was hesitant about purchasing a stationary bike stand, but after purchasing the BalanceFrom Bike Trainer Stand I became a believer. There is a The stand was easy to set up, the only issue I found was the need for ties to secure the cable used to adjust the tension of the roller. After my first ride I was a little concerned that it wasn't enough tension on the wheel, but after a while I was over that concern. There is a My only complaint is that it's a little noisy. If you want to mount your bike on a step stool, make sure to secure the lock ring since it sits higher than normal. Nice product!
👤I have a mountain bike in an apartment on a higher floor. I returned the noise because I hate noise above me, and I feared it would disturb neighbors. The quality is decent, but my bike slipped off on my first use, it did not hold my tire well. I returned it because of the noise. There is a If you live above people, I would not recommend this, as they will be mad by the sound. I wouldn't subject another person to that. If you are using on the ground floor, please be respectful.
👤It looks like it was well made. I inspected it after setting it up and found it to be safe. The resistance wheel is useful. I used it on a bike and it worked well. I can tell it is the same as the other, but it is the lowest price supplier.
👤I bought a great product for my wife. She is short and once her bike was on the stand it was difficult for her to get on and off. May have to give it away.
👤I bought this because I have a condition that makes walking difficult. I didn't want to buy an exercise bike. I gave it a try. My husband put it together quickly. It makes a noise. It's not a big deal, as I use headphones while riding it. The regular bike functions still work and you can adjust the rear wheel's friction. It's a great way to exercise.
👤The stand is made of strong steel and plastic. The ride has a good range of resistance levels. The resistance knob is numbered from 1 to 8 with 8 being the least resistance and 1 the highest. It gets boring like all exercise equipment. While you get fit, grab a book or TV and a fan to keep you entertained.
The front-wheel stand pad and rubber padded feet help reduce the noise of the stand and prevent it from scratching or damaging your flooring. The stand and bike can be stable for safe exercise, sprint, climb, or cruise with confidence if they have a better grip. The heavy-duty aluminum alloy construct is portable. COMPATIBILITY: It is compatible with any frame size bike. Not compatible with 29" bikes. It's great for rear wheel bikes. Wind resistance is a topic. The wind resistance is reliable. It is noisier than a magnet trainer. STABLE & FOLDABLE. The trainer's legs are wide. You can fold it to make it easier to store. The package has trainer, front riser and trainer skewer. You can order now and pay free. They can provide a 5-year warranty on their product. It was made in Taiwan.
👤The product is sturdy and easy to use, will recommend it to friends.
👤This was a good purchase. We have moved to a part of the United States that is cold and rainy in the winter and this is enough to not be able to go out on a bike path.
👤I love it! I can ride my bike in the winter, no matter what the weather is like. Assembly is easy in 10 minutes.
👤It was quick and what I needed.
👤It was fun while it was going on, but then it started making noises and seized up in the middle of a workout. Returned to Amazon.
👤It works as expected. Inexpensive. You can ignore the noise by listening to music. I had an issue with the device because it would slide and open too wide, which made it rub against the floor, and because there were rubber stops which would work better on a hard surface, which lowered the tire to a point where it wouldn't rub against the floor. I used zip ties to hold the two rods together so the tire wouldn't fall off the bike.
👤It was loud and wouldn't stop.
👤If you have carpet, beware of traction burns. It works as expected.
👤A rotation of the hanche suite.
Please follow the size examples below, they are true to size. Size "Medium" is 5'9" 165 lbs. TSLA Wintergear Series is made of thermal fleece fabric. The mix of Polyester and Spandex is very elastic and has an enhanced range of motion. Non-Abrasion fabric is not abrasion fabric. It has a long life due to its quick-dry and 2-way air circulation. The design of the turtle neck. It adds comfort and improves heat insulation. It's suitable for indoor and outdoor activities such as football, basketball, hiking, cycling, boxing, fitness, gym training, etc. Before wearing, wash separately.
👤This looks neat. Very nice. The material and feel is very good. I ordered L because of the reviews that it runs small. The L is not as snug as it could be. Maybe it would have fit better. I'm 5'7" 170 lbs and can be used as a reference. There is a This shirt goes so tight around your body that you have to have a flat belly. Not necessarily an athlete. You shouldn't have a lot of belly to wear this. You will look fat, so it looks great. I got a lot of praise on it. Make sure you're in good shape. You will look bad on this Honest review. There is a Hope it helps!
👤When it came to their $100k cars, I was shy. There is a It proved to be a life saver when put to the test in 15 degree weather. The sewing is on point, and we'll design a comfortable, wind-proof jacket for running, but still need a hard shell or jacket for wind breaking while running. There is a A $100k car is a compliment.
👤The men's medium is not compression on me, but I ordered it because I am a 5'7" medium build woman. I ordered an extra large for my husband, which was larger than mine. Can't beat these for the price. They are nice and long. A soft fleece is inside a smooth polyester material. I don't think you could get compression out of this, it's very stretchy. It's good alone in 50's and a good base layer under 50's. The Baleaf thermal mock is a good choice if you want something in the 35-50 degree range.
👤The pattern for the long sleeve shirt has been changed. There is a The new pattern is not as tight as the old one. It's more of a "fitting" fit. You can tell the difference by the looks. There are two versions of the same color. They have different numbers. The tighter compression fit is what I prefer. When TSLA runs out of the older pattern, I'll probably go back to UnderArmour. Please look at the photo for a description.
👤When I took them out of the packaging, I was prepared to be disappointed. The shirt seems flimsy and is a lot lighter than the cold gear products I have that are made by Nike and Under Armour. The disappointment set in when I put it on. The shirt didn't warm me up. When I started running in the cold, everything changed. I began to comprehend the positive reviews. This thing is like a champ. I was impressed. This shirt is much cheaper than my cold gear, yet it kept me warm. Will be buying more.
You can adjust the pedal resistance settings with the tension knob. The game changed. For serious cyclists looking for an indoor training solution during cold winters or for a way to warm up before a race, the KOM Cycling Indoor Media Display bike desk is a must have. You can easily reach your phone or water bottle with the two conveniently placed holding water bottle slots. There is an optimal solution. The KOM Cycling Indoor Media Display bike desk workstation makes indoor cycling easier. Place your laptop or tablets securely so you can start ascending. Use the bike trainer desk to maximize productivity while cycling or even as a standing desk to give your body a break from sitting all day. The large surface area will give you plenty of room for all of your devices, as well as a water bottle or cup of coffee. You can switch between using the desk as a freestanding desk or a trainer in just seconds. Anti-SLIP and adjusted design. The non-slip surface of the KOM Cycling Media display protects your devices from slipping. It is the perfect add on for an indoor spin bike and is perfect for indoor training. Light weight and portable. The device holder on this bike trainer is secure. It features an aluminum tripod base and plastic desktop that are lightweight and durable.
👤There are some issues here. The tripod base makes it difficult to get the desk close enough to the rider to use the front wheel. The setup is wobbly. Sometimes the water bottles bounce out of the holders, making it more useful to just keep them in the cages on the bike. If you use a fan while riding this setup, it will block most of the fan air in front of the cockpit. This is a poor solution when you can spend twice as much for a great solution.
👤I replaced the music stand I was using with this one to make sure it worked again. It's not the best platform, but it's enough to hold my iPad, phone, and snack bar. I keep my bottles in the bike cages, so I don't use the bottle holders. Things stay put on the tacky surface. If you like your phone to be almost vertical, the slot along the front is for you. It's a great value for the money and it's well-made.
👤It was purchased for use with my trainer. I used to have a desk from one of the popular indoor trainer companies, but it was too large for our apartment. There is a This one is easy to setup in a few minutes with the supplied allen key and hand adjustments. There is a There is enough room for my laptop, remote controls, drink and cellphone on the top. There is a The top deck can be positioned in two different ways, one at the front and the other at the back, to give more clearance for the legs and wheel. It can be stored in a closet within a minute by folding the legs and removing the top deck by hand. The desk is rolling, but this is much happier. The music stand I tried was not as strong as the one I tried now.
👤I bought this desk for our second KICKR setup. The first set up has a desk. I think that the desk is good for most users and at $200 less than the other desk, it is a good deal. It is very easy to set up and has a tripod. There are bottle holders missing from the desk surface. There is a This company is great to deal with. The desk is a brand new product and is just shipping, so I received emails letting me know of the availability. When the shipment was a few days behind schedule, they sent two water bottles as a gift. I am a loyal customer of this company.
A bike with a rear quick release wheel is required. Make the switch to working! Mag bike stand converts any mountain or road bike into a stable, smooth-riding indoor stationary bicycle for all-season training, conditioning. The Super Quiet Magnetic Technology creates drag against tire to replicate a real cycling experience. 6 levels of fixed resistance, a bar mounted cable controller and extra wide base and low stance ensure perfect balance at every setting. The stand is made of heavy duty steel and has a front wheel riser block and anti-slip rubber pads. The foldable framework is easy to use. The portable stand is lightweight and portable so you can pack and go, it comes with a sturdy bag for easy carrying and storage.
👤The bike trainer is a game-changer for me. I can't ride outside if the air quality is bad. I have been able to be active in a new way. There is a My beach cruiser fits just fine, as can be seen in the pictures. The unit is very sturdy and it is easy to adjust the wheel gizmo that provides resistance and stability. I have not had any issues with the cord being in the way of pedaling because it is long. Storage. It folds up and has a good bag to hold it. I am not an elite athlete, but from the standpoint of a regular person, this has been really easy to use and does what it is supposed to do.
👤Training in the winter is a must before the spring. The Alpcour is a brand I have owned in the past. The magnetic flywheel with the 6 position resistance module makes a perfect match for gear shifting and resistance settings for a solid work out. The basic engineering design of my brand was flawed. The Alpcour is easy to set up and very smooth. I can't say enough good things about this product. You can't go wrong for $100.00. I'd put the Alpcour against a trainer who paid $300.00. Excellent value, excellent trainer, and of high quality.
👤I'm slightly indifferent with this... I don't have a road bike, but I have a mountain bike, so I know my tires are not as big as a road bike. It is so loud that it is shaking my house even if I have it on the lightest setting. The cable for the gear set up is a little awkward, so you have to keep it out of the way of the pedals in order to keep it awkward. It serves its purpose, that is for sure, but the minus 1 star is solely for the fact that it says it is compatible with both types of bikes, and specifically advertises for noise reduction, but it is not the case with a mountain bike. If you choose to get a spare tire for your bike, be aware of the loud noise and the fact that you may be using it for a mountain bike.
👤I will be honest. I would like to work with this trainer. I am having trouble doing that. There are a lot of things that I have problems with. 1. The quietness that was marketed is not all that quiet. It is loud for me. It makes training harder to focus on. I own a road bike. 2. I didn't expect this much wear on my tires in 1-2 days of receiving the product. If this is the case, I am worried my tires won't last me long. I have some difficulty with the resistance. This doesn't really give me a simulation of a real life resistance or incline I would feel outside, maybe because I'm more used to the outdoors resistance. I am not saying I am pro or anything like that. It is hard for me to train indoors because of these reasons. That is just me.
A wide base and low stance for unshakable balance is what stability on any surface is built with. 5 rubber feet that can be adjusted to even out any flooring. Spin In Silence: Smooth, seamless design and noise reduction resistance wheel mean you don't need to increase the volume when you build up the burn. If you use a road bike, the noise will be louder. Train to your standards with a bar-mounted remote and wide range resistance curve. Ready to head outside? You can easily release and remove your ride by hitting the press-down lever. Installation of the front wheel riser block and rear quick release lever can be done quickly. The stand is great for road and mountain bikes with a 26-28" or 700c wheel.
👤This thing has been very difficult. It's loud and shakes the walls in the room I have it set up in. I'm sure there are better options out there, but it's too loud to use as intended. I've tried to make it work for months and it's a huge disappointment that the time has passed. The company saw the review and sent me a new one. The replacement is in good working order. Customer support is great. Buy with confidence.
👤The setup for this bike stand is easy, it is pre-assembled and ready to go, the entire setup to attach the bike took only a few minutes. The unit works as advertised, the quality was better than I expected, and setting up was easy. This unit is easy to set up and affordable for those who want to ride but can't during winter. Resistance can be adjusted with a switch mounted on the handlebars and by going through the bike's gears. To remove the bike, you need to remove the handlebar switch, then move the red handle to release the rear of the bike. I would recommend this unit to others.
👤My wife and I love the trainer, it's easy to setup, it's a good price, and it's a great accessory for the #Suffes Fest App in the IOS. Can not go wrong with this, used along with an app or alone, will do the work, Lets see it in a year after of 4 - 5 hours weekly use.
👤This is a good purchase. I swapped out the dh specific tire for a road tire to reduce the noise and not chew up the tread on a maxxis minion tire, it fits a downhill bike just fine. The setup is excellent and should be used for pre and post surgery.
👤I bought another trainer and couldn't figure out how to set it up. It looked like it wasn't compatible with my bike. I gave up on bike trainers after running out of patience. I find this product. I read reviews that said "set up in 5 minutes" and other good things. If it takes 5, it will take me 20. I thought it was connected with magnets. Silly me. At this point, I don't know what part are magnets. I had trouble hooking up my bike because the directions were not clear for someone who needs everything spelled out clearly. The images were small and not showing what I needed to see. I finally figured it out! I had to replace my release bar for the rear tire with theirs, which they have in the box for you, and it worked. The quick release is so cool. I use my iMac in my front of my bike to watch training videos or scenic routes while I work out. Why do people buy the Peloton when it is just as good for a fraction of the price? I have a phone. I can watch the videos on my iMac, if I use the right software. I would have gone the route of air displaying my bike from phone to Apple TV if the TV was in another room that I didn't want my bike in. This will help you, so the 8 of you in the world. I don't think so. The resistance thing on my handle works well. It doesn't fit on my handle, so I put it around my front gear wire and it stays-ish. I think her knob was installed upside down, because a reviewer said hers was working in the opposite direction. It works great, but mine was just fine. It took me 20 minutes. I love it! I wish I hadn't given up on trainers the first time around, and just got this one after the first one didn't work out. I have an exercise outlet during the winter. No gaining 15 lbs over the holiday. It was quite obvious.
DURABLE & STURDY: The bicycle stand rack is made of aluminum. The corner has a coating on it to protect it from nicks and scratches. It's a simple molded plastic stand for a front wheel. The bike riser block raises the front tire just enough to keep you from sliding off your seat while pedaling. The internal design guarantees wheel stability. The anti-slip feet stay in place. It's suitable for 98% of the size of road and moutain bikes. The item can be found by searching for the serial number: "B089NVTC2V".
👤There is an update! The company had a great customer service. They solved my issue quickly. There is a The item is not as deep as the picture shows. It's a no-name like a fake item. The pictures I attached show that it is different from the description. The front wheel isn't standing.
👤I don't know what I was expecting. It's something I can't live without. I used to use my roommates cats to put the tire on top of it. This made sense to me.
👤You get what you pay for. I decided to save a few dollars by buying the item instead of the model I purchased. The tire space is too wide for my 700x25 tire because it's made to accommodate other sizes. There are different slots for different sized tires.
👤The price is good. The one I ordered took longer than I expected but is shipped quickly. This is a good deal if you don't hurry. My wife used a towel that was folded up as a temporary measure. There is a This seems to be tough enough to take the weight. We use in on a rough concrete basement floor. Unless you lean on the handlebars, it stays put. It can move a bit. Why would you do that? It has no skid pads.
👤The thing slides around as if it is not there. Does nothing to fix the front wheel.
👤It was as advertised. It works for my 700x25c wheel. Holds to the floor with just enough wiggle room for sprints at the top. Highly recommended.
Balance from bike trainer stand is compatible with any road or mountain bike with a 26-28" wheel. Make the switch to working! A must-have for dedicated cyclists is the fluid bike stand, which converts any mountain or road bike into a stable, smooth-riding indoor stationary bicycle. A high-quality flywheel mechanism creates drag against back tire to replicate a real cycling experience. The sky is the limit with power regeneration resistance, which spins inside the wheel's liquid and heats up to increase resistance as you pedal faster. No adjustment is necessary to make roads, hills and intervals life-like. The stand is made of heavy duty steel and has a front wheel riser block and anti-slip rubber pads. The foldable framework is easy to use. The portable stand is lightweight and portable so you can pack and go, it comes with a sturdy bag for easy carrying and storage.
👤Many of you have purchased this item, and you will find no instructions in the box or online. This issue is responded to with a "figure it out, it's easy" by the product reviews on this page. " I needed a second set of eyes to figure it out because the assembly is not intuitive. This is a quick write up of how to put it together. 1. Unbox everything. There are bags with the tools and bolts. The stand is pre-assembled which is nice. The foam container has the flywheel in it. 2. Stand up the trainer, it's facing away from you. You are behind the bike. 3. Remove the knob from the bolt with the spring on it. The spring and washer assembly must be held together. 4. If you oriented the spring loaded assembly to the through hole opposite the front-face of the trainer, it will make sense. 5. You can see a lot of thread on the bolt piece that is not constrained by the spring if you put the knob back behind the bike trainer. 5. The trainer stand 6 has a flywheel on it. While keeping the tension on the bike trainer, you can put a bolt across the bolt area and tighten it across the back of the bike trainer. The tools they send are nice, but I found my sockets set to be more effective in tightening the cross-bolt. Proceed to follow the instructions. I hope they were written correctly. Just ping me if not. I can make changes. Don't feel dumb if you can't figure it out. I was able to figure it out after he gave me some pointers and I thought the assembly wasn't all that intuitive. It wasn't for me. Thanks.
👤My son does triathlons and we were looking for a quiet road bike trainer. The trainer seemed to meet our requirements. The quality seemed good during the setup and we were able to get everything set up after finding the right skewer. My son was very happy with the trainer for the first hour, but suddenly there was a loud grinding sound. The noise was similar to metal on metal and varied in intensity depending on the cadence. There is a I decided to make the trainer work rather than return it to Amazon after setting it up. I used an allen wrench to remove the cover from the heatsink. The oiled filled resistance unit is sealed with a fiberglass plate and an o-ring to keep the oil from leaking out. I lifted the fiberglass cover and found that one of the magnets had come out of the round hole that it was supposed to rest in. There were other magnets in place. The same issue recurred after only a few minutes of use after I reassembled the unit. We plan to return this road trainer to Amazon because the manufacturer does not provide any support for it. We are not shopping for a different product, but this time will make sure that we can get it fixed if we have a problem in the future. I'm reading the reviews. It's more expensive, but parts and support are available in the event of an issue.
It is easy to release. The front wheel riser and quick release skewer can be folded for travel and storage. A double lock system. The two knobs on the left and right of the stationary bike trainer make it easy to lock your bike in place. One bigger knob outside and one smaller knob inside reinforce the locking mechanism for each part. The indoor exercise fluid bike trainer is designed with a U-shape structure which keeps it away from wobbling and reach unshakable balance. No noise is produced by fluid design. Road bike is recommended because of the noise generated by the bicycle. There is outdoor racquetball. The riding provided by fluid trainer feels more like a road because of the fluid-impelled flywheel mechanism. The temperature of the internal fluid can be affected by the speed of riding. You can ride indoors after quick installation. You can fold the bike trainer after you exercise. You can put it at any corner of your home or take it to another place. The Unisky fluid bike trainer stand is compatible with most road and mountain bikes. If you have a road or mountain bike of normal size, you don't need to buy a new one. Bring your bike to the gym.
👤We got this a few days ago. It is stable for my mountain bike and my 200 lbs., and it fits our 26" bikes well. My son and I have used it with heart rate monitors. Getting into reasonable workout heart rate zones is not a problem. It isn't easy to ride up a steep hill or a high end spin bike, even if you could stand up, because I need higher resistance to stand up comfortably. If you are in good shape, you don't need to get a lot of intensity for something like tabata or other interval work. It's for low impact, low and moderate aerobic training.
👤The trainer arrived early. There was no need for an assembly of the trainer. The legs were extended when it was taken out of the box. I switched out my road bike's quick release and was peddling in a matter of minutes. I was worried that it would be loud. The road bike is not louder than a stationary bike in a gym. I put it in the loft of my house to protect the carpet. I could not hear it at all. It provides enough resistance for a good workout. I did a lot of research and comparison shopping for this on Amazon and am very pleased with my purchase, it's either more or less resistance if you shift gears. If you're shopping for a trainer, I suggest you look at the fluid trainer over the magnetic unit. You will not be sorry.
👤After searching for a bike trainer that would fit my bikes, I decided to buy this one. There is a Overall thought is good so far. It has enough resistance that it can ride a slight grade. The design of the bike is strong and does not let it fall off. It does not seem like you will tip over once you're on it. It fits my bikes. There is a The bad is nothing really to take a star from, but I wish the manufacturers of these would make or include the accessory for the bike. I want to be able to get my son on his bmx and practice sprints in the house. I'll have to check to see if this brand has the accessory. The product is good and the price is good. It feels like a solid product that will last, and I've been on it for a few days now. It's easy to fold up for storage.
You can order now and pay free. They can provide a LIFETIME WARRANTY because they're so confident in their product quality. It's safe. Parabolic rollers are safer than straight rollers. The roller bicycle trainer has three rollers mounted into the frame to hold bike wheels. Don't worry about their quality. The roller trainer is foldable and handy. The sealed bearing on the bike roller makes it work better. Light weight and portable, 3 folds flat and lightweight, design for easier storage and carry. The front adjustment holes with measuring cylinder can adapt different bicycles wheel.
👤First, some advice for beginners, since I see that they are hard to use. The drums will spin freely if you loosen the inner nuts a bit. Everything is being watched at the factory. The tension nut is indicated in my photos by a pencil. The drum can spin more freely if the outer nuts are loosened with a wrench and the inner nuts loosened enough to allow the drum to rattle. Re-tighten the nuts just enough to secure the frame again. 2. The bolt on your fork should be above the center of the roller. There are holes to move the roller. 3. Next to the rollers, place a box or small stepstool. There is a step in the design for this purpose. 4. Your speed is important to you. It's easier to balance on your wheels. 5. If you were riding on the road, focus your gaze on a few yards in front of you. This helps you balance. 6. There are a few instructional videos on the internet. They are hilarious and helpful. There is a If you're new to these, you'll find that riding in place is a weird sensation because they require you to balance just as you would on the road. Don't get discouraged because learning to use rollers takes practice. I have been a cyclist for a long time, but I haven't used rollers in a while. I got going in less than 30 minutes. In my video, you can see that I'm still finding my balance, but I'm basically there. I hit my head on the coffee table after falling. The objectively product review. I didn't expect fine engineering, but I hoped it would arrive without any damage, since this is the lowest end of the scale. The front roller is damaged out of the box, and I notice when my bike moves over it. The black finish is cheap and will chip off if you don't adjust the bolts carefully. The logo decals are cheap and had some damage. I was frustrated by the lack of English instructions despite this being fully assembled. The diagram is so poorly photocopied that even the part that is readable is almost unreadable. I'm just getting back to using rollers, so I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend a lot on them. These will get me through the rest of the spring, but eventually I will upgrade to something better.
Peradix push bikes passed a Certficate. The materials and designs are safe for kids. It would be a great gift for your baby's first birthday. If you have any questions, please contact the service team. As soon as you start pedaling, the internal magnet creates resistance. Seven levels of resistance are used. The MAG Trainer is extremely light and can be folded down to make it more portable. maximum susceptibility The trainer is one of the strongest on the market. The trainer has extra wide legs and a sturdy frame. EXTRA DURABLE - is made from the finest materials. They back every product they sell with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. It is possible to turn your bike into an indoor exercise bike, with easy set-up and quiet operation.
👤It was pretty nice for the price. Once the initial adjustments are made, it only takes seconds to install and remove the bike. It is slightly noisy but can't really see how a more expensive one would be any quieter. The tire on the roller makes the noise. The device makes some noise. The tire and bike noise is the main reason for that. There is a The 7 levels of resistance are a joke. I can't see any difference between 1 and 7. It's not really a big deal. Pick a higher gear on the bike if you want to increase resistance. There is a The non-functionality of the variable resistance claim is the reason for the reduced rating. Drop the feature and suggest using the gears on the bike. Zip tying the resistance cable to the stand will keep it out of the way. There is no reason to attach it to the bike. The bike gets in the way and looks cluttered. It only takes a few seconds to install and remove a bike without the cable. It was pretty happy with it. Good for the price. I would recommend it to a basic to moderate biker. It would have taken up a lot of space if I had to buy a dedicated exercise bike.
👤I need to be able to ride so that my body doesn't have to suffer through the first couple of weeks of summer. The setup is easy and there is a dial to change the resistance. You feel like you've been on a good ride after 45 minutes. The resistance is steady and can be ridden up a 3% grade if you increase it. The first 30 seconds of riding a bike are not like biking in that you have to exert more pressure to get moving. This appears to be a good product. There is a I ordered a wireless odometer. The front tire does not move, so it must be connected to the back tire. The meter had to be mounted near the seat because the max reach was 22.
👤Pictures show what it is. It's easy to set up. The weight and build was substantial. The supplied skewer should work for any bicycle, even if it wasn't needed for my cycle. There is some tolerance for the shape of the cone/dome ends to make this work for everyone. They have a front wheel chock to help keep the bike level. It doesn't take much to tighten this up to the bicycle, the lock down ring and 90 degree flip handle work well. I would suggest that you tighten the knob of the resistance wheel frame so that you can try it out without much effort. I had new, unused smooth tread tires on this bicycle and they transferred a circular winding or rubber about the resistance wheel. I don't know if this will happen with everyone with initial use. I suggest that people with used tires wash off the rear wheel. If the rim shows up with use with the stationary trainer, I think it needs to be addressed. I used a safety razor blade to cut the rubber off of the resistance wheel while someone else pedaled. I'm pretty sure this won't happen to other people because there was only a small amount of rubber loading onto the metal resistance wheel. The solution should work for other people. There was a rubber substance that fell onto the carpet under the lowest curve of the tire. Again, probably due to new tires. The lever which controls the tension of the resistance wheel is best attached to the handlebars because of the cable offset position. I think there is a screw head under the decal plate, but it is not helpful since there is a nut opposite. I think that is a design error. I found that even when I changed gears up, the resistance was still adjusted by the level, even though I set the tire with the resistance wheel. It was nice to run this unit for 10 minutes. The unit is stable with my weight. If you forget, you can get in the way of low hanging fruit if you have your left foot on the floor. You need to use the left foot on the pedal. If you insist on mounting from the floor, you can have a 3-4 inch platform on the floor. The bike is fixed in vertical so you cannot tip your bar toward you during mount. I suggest that you set up a floor fan in front of you to keep you cool. You will be surprised how hot you get. If you're setting up on carpet, or on a cooler porch, or in a gargage, you want to have a mat under it to avoid dripping sweat. I know these are for stationary trainer use. I would put a cyclometer on the rear wheel to give you the information you need for your exercise benefit. I will leave my current unit on the front wheel for a while. I'm not sure if you know any Q's. Happy wheeling! I missed two items. The resistance wheel housing should be held in tight by the strain-relief plastic ferrule. It slips off and down the cable. It would be held in place with a bit of hotmelt glue. There are no cable ties that can be used to get the adjustment cable out of the way. It hangs on the floor because it exits the adjustment lever at an angle to the stem/handlebar. I want to leave this set up for a while so that I can do housecleaning and avoid flatting specific spots in the carpet permanently, so getting the cable tidy would be a part of this. Don't forget your right pantleg clip to keep your sweats from getting greased up, even if you don't use the trainer, because there are still some user preparations necessary. The price has been raised by Amazon in the last 5 days, so they have different suppliers? I tried to get from Mayfair vendor but they didn't fulfill my order one day after I placed it. Avoid them.
