👤If you're new to the place, you probably know how much the seating hurts your butt. There is a The padded seat is the best thing you can do for your body. While not immediately apparent, in time your keester will get used to the extra comfort that this seat pad provides. It fits perfectly on the Peloton seat and is secured with a locking drawstring that makes sure the seat padding doesn't move. The plush seat will make your rides more comfortable. If the seat is padded or not, your butt needs some break-in time to get to it. This seat cushion is very good. It's a necessity for the riders.
👤It has always been a pain in the butt for me when I have started a spin class. It's normal because your weight gets distributed onto tiny bones. I couldn't take it anymore. What is the point of working out if you end up with a painful butt? There is a I found out that there are things you can put over the seat. I don't know why I didn't think of that earlier. I like shopping online. The first place I looked was Amazon. There are many of them on the site. I picked this one. I was sold after reading some of the 1600 positive reviews. This seat is one of my must haves for spin class. The studio that I go to is always loud, so I use the earplugs to keep the instructor and music out of harms way. Is the purchase worth it? Yes! I was worried that the fit would be off since I didn't know how big the seat was. It ended up fitting perfectly. It was easy to install, you just tie a string to the bottom of the bike. It doesn't move even when you're doing an intense workout because of the things that keep it from sliding around. There is a The gel pad is one of my favorite things about the cover. It is very soft and comfortable, which is great for two hour sessions. It makes me feel supported. Some people say that the gel will melt, but I haven't experienced that yet, I have only been using it for a couple weeks. It holds up well in the wash. I wash it by hand when I get home because it gets gross with sweat. It's not sure if its machine is clean. I was surprised that it came with an ebook. I have not had time to read it yet. The company owner made a nice gesture. There is a I wish it came in more colors. The blue is a little brighter than I thought it would be. I would have preferred something like navy. It is not a deal breaker. Maybe they can add more choices in the future. There is a The quality of the product and the price is what I am happy with. There were no complaints about the shipping from Amazon. My butt is very happy that it does what it is supposed to. I would have stopped my spin classes if it weren't for it.
The continuous center tread has good rolling characteristics. Extra Puncture Belt has puncture protection. On all rides, the durable casing and long- lasting tread impress. Ready for the higher speeds of E- bikes. Rolling resistance is low.
👤700 x 23mm is the measurement of my 2012 Specialized Roubaix. There is not much room for large tires. This is a bike. I thought the size 700x 28 tires would be a tight fit but they were a little bigger than the race tires. Wrong. When mounted, they measured 23 across. Mild gravel roads were handled well. I ordered the 700x28s for my wife's bike because I wanted something a little bigger, but I didn't want to have to return them. I have been happily married for over 25 years. Take note. The 700 x 32 tires measure 28 across when mounted to my race wheels. There is a lot of clearance. They handle the gravel roads well. They have a nice feel to them. Would not be the first choice for a paved road ride. The recommended tire pressure is 70 and they absorb some bumps. Light gravel and limestone are very well handled. Very safe. They are very attractive. They are not for people who want to mount. You definitely need tire mounting things. I really like them! They turned my road bike into a bike that I can use on some gravel roads, and we have a lot of gravel roads out here.
👤I've been riding Continental City Ride tires for about 20k miles until they discontinued them and went to the City Ride II. I thought these tires would be the same, but they are not. In all weather conditions in Colorado, I'm 80% concrete surface and 20% dirt. Good grip in all conditions. As compared to Continental City Ride, Con has high rolling resistance. The difference is dramatic. There is a There is no reflective side. The City Ride II's design includes siping across the face of the tire, which is not a solid center. I am a huge fan of Continental tires. I'll try them out.
👤Went from California to Kentucky. I bought these Continental tires. Traveling from Kentucky to Arizona. Thank you for these tires.
👤The 700x42 version was the one I got. Not my first set of rides. I know what to expect. There is a These are big mean tires that have a lot of tread. Handles going off road are very smooth. The rubber tread is very thick and will last a long time. As expected, tougher then nails, glass, thorns, and wire. flats are not an option for you, but you don't want to use solid tires, so you get these. Downside is that these roll are only marginally better than solid tires. They are heavy and inflexible. I put up with the loss in speed, for the gains in tread life, and all terrain function.
👤The tires arrived in 2 days. There seems to be some controversy about Continentals size. I ordered a 700cX35 and it showed up as a 700cX28. The 700cX32 was actually 2mm wider than the previous 35mm tire that was 30mm wide. The metric is different in India than it is in Germany. Someone must have a correction chart. There is a The tire has a thicker belt and deeper tread than most street tires, and I used my 30 year old rims with only the last 6 inches to balance it out for a heave tire. There is a Rolling resistance was down even though the cyclo cross tire was harder to ride. The deep tread on the tire feels like it's drifting in a hard turn, but 10 pounds of air in the back makes that feeling go away. First, check the size. There is a I'll have to find some thorns.
Carbon black mixture. The Gatorskin is as comfortable on the way to work as it is training for road races. PolyXBREAKER- The PolyX is highly resistant to any foreign body without reducing the rolling resistance because of the dense fabric and minimal space between threads. DURASKIN- The sidewall protects the tire's core from being cut under the worst conditions. It's important to wear a maximizedREAD. Adding a long service life is achieved by using the Gatorskin's wear maximized tread compound. Continental has been making tires in Germany since 1871, and has evolved with the most advanced technology.
👤I've been waiting to buy them for a year. It took me so long to make the leap because I justified the 80$ purchase. I bought a set of Hutchinson tires that had been reviewed by some bike magazines. I had my first flat in over a year after that purchase. I had black belted tires that came with my Allez. They cost 55 dollars a tire. I wanted a cheaper option. I ride 5000+ miles a year. That's over 100m a week. I'm very far from help. The 80$ price for the Gators was easily justified after having a flat. I gave these five stars because of the piece of mind. I watched a video comparing rolling resistance with other Continental tires after buying this. This tire has superior puncture. The harder shell makes the tire slower. I was lost at 1 to 2 mph. Being far from home and not having to worry about a flat as much makes me feel better about ridding far and is what earned these the 5 star from me. The loss gives me an excuse to get stronger. After Continental Grad Prix tires wear out, I will switch to them. They offer puncture protection, but are a faster tire. I bought the wire bead because they have a more robust side wall. I had a hard time getting these on. If you get the wire, be prepared for a fight because this tire is the hardest install of the bunch. I also bought new Continental tubes. The valve stem was lined up with the Continental logo. It's easy to locate the location of a puncture in a tire. I had an issue with shipping. I got a tire and one of the wires was bent. I was able to get it right by hand. Some reviewers were talking about the holes in the tires. I have them as well. They are hard to see in the picture I took. I discovered that these are wear indicators. The tires are done when you can't see the holes. Nice feature. I'm happy I jumped to this tire. I would use them again even though they have a small speed loss. I ride in the desert. I can't say how these hold up in the rain. They seem to hold up well in my climate. Take corners easy until you understand the limits of the tire. I have about 600m on these. I'm happy to report no flats yet. If you ride in urban areas, the harder Gator Hardshell tires are for you. I hope the review helps the decision.

You can adjust the pedal resistance settings with the tension knob. The game changed. For serious cyclists looking for an indoor training solution during cold winters or for a way to warm up before a race, the KOM Cycling Indoor Media Display bike desk is a must have. You can easily reach your phone or water bottle with the two conveniently placed holding water bottle slots. There is an optimal solution. The KOM Cycling Indoor Media Display bike desk workstation makes indoor cycling easier. Place your laptop or tablets securely so you can start ascending. Use the bike trainer desk to maximize productivity while cycling or even as a standing desk to give your body a break from sitting all day. The large surface area will give you plenty of room for all of your devices, as well as a water bottle or cup of coffee. You can switch between using the desk as a freestanding desk or a trainer in just seconds. Anti-SLIP and adjusted design. The non-slip surface of the KOM Cycling Media display protects your devices from slipping. It is the perfect add on for an indoor spin bike and is perfect for indoor training. Light weight and portable. The device holder on this bike trainer is secure. It features an aluminum tripod base and plastic desktop that are lightweight and durable.
👤There are some issues here. The tripod base makes it difficult to get the desk close enough to the rider to use the front wheel. The setup is wobbly. Sometimes the water bottles bounce out of the holders, making it more useful to just keep them in the cages on the bike. If you use a fan while riding this setup, it will block most of the fan air in front of the cockpit. This is a poor solution when you can spend twice as much for a great solution.
👤I replaced the music stand I was using with this one to make sure it worked again. It's not the best platform, but it's enough to hold my iPad, phone, and snack bar. I keep my bottles in the bike cages, so I don't use the bottle holders. Things stay put on the tacky surface. If you like your phone to be almost vertical, the slot along the front is for you. It's a great value for the money and it's well-made.
👤It was purchased for use with my trainer. I used to have a desk from one of the popular indoor trainer companies, but it was too large for our apartment. There is a This one is easy to setup in a few minutes with the supplied allen key and hand adjustments. There is a There is enough room for my laptop, remote controls, drink and cellphone on the top. There is a The top deck can be positioned in two different ways, one at the front and the other at the back, to give more clearance for the legs and wheel. It can be stored in a closet within a minute by folding the legs and removing the top deck by hand. The desk is rolling, but this is much happier. The music stand I tried was not as strong as the one I tried now.
👤I bought this desk for our second KICKR setup. The first set up has a desk. I think that the desk is good for most users and at $200 less than the other desk, it is a good deal. It is very easy to set up and has a tripod. There are bottle holders missing from the desk surface. There is a This company is great to deal with. The desk is a brand new product and is just shipping, so I received emails letting me know of the availability. When the shipment was a few days behind schedule, they sent two water bottles as a gift. I am a loyal customer of this company.
Sidewall protection is lightweight. The item's package height is 10. The package length is less than 4. The package width is less than the item.
👤I bought used tires for the Giant Defy 4 Road Bike and Continental Race 28 700x20-25c Bicycle Inner Tubes. The bicycle is very fast. The ride was jittery because of the old Gatorskin 23mm tires. The 25mm tires absorb the rough surface of the streets and make the ride very supple. I would not advise against puncture proof tubes. This is close to a tubeless setup without the price and tire-slip. Racing tires are too soft for street riding. The wire bead version of the tire is 315 grams, compared to the folding Gatorskins's 480 grams.
👤I don't have a lot of miles on these yet. There is a I think the rims I have are tubeless and designed to fit tires tightly. I have the same issue with other tires. I prefer not to use tire levers, but they are necessary. A little soapy water on the bead helps. I don't know how they'll last in the long run, I haven't put a lot of miles on them yet. They were thrown on my bike and I wanted a tire that was puncture resistant and comfortable for commute. There is a I've only used them on roads and bike paths. I ran them around 85-90 PSI with 700x32 My previous tires were 32mm, but with a lot thicker tread. These feel more responsive and lighter. They offer more grip because of the rubber compound used. Due to less tread, they are pretty quiet. There was no buzz or hum. I was surprised how much they improved my ride. The tires changed the ride more than I expected, even though they were supposed to be a little faster and more responsive. The ride feels more like a bike. I would definitely recommend them. I don't ride over broken glass, thorns, thumbtacks, or spike strips often, so I can't say much about the puncture resistance. I've had no problems so far. I put these on a Trek. A basic hybrid commuter, carbon fork, and basic groupset. I've been looking at the Trek Checkpoint. I'd like to put these tires on a gravel bike and do some group rides and climbs on the road.
👤Never buying from Movatik again. The GatorSkin tire is one of the best I have ever used. This is not the norm. I replaced the tube with a blow out after less than 100 miles on the tire. My back up tube "blew". The tire separated near the rim allowed the tube to "pinch out". I had to call support 42 miles into the ride to get a lift. I had to walk 2.5 miles in a heat index of 105+ to get to a road that was close to the paved bike path. They are waiting for the manufacturer to respond and send me a new tire. Their customer service was poor and their correspondence stopped responding the last time I purchased from Movatik.
👤Not going to lie. Thought they would be a little more difficult than they were. I need to replace the tires on my road bike because I have a route that I have ridden for years. I was swayed by the positive reviews and saw some mixed ones. The tires failed to perform. It seems that these tires don't hold up as well as I thought they would, and that's no different from the road conditions that I am aware of. I ordered a set of tires at a higher price point. Hope they hold up.
The slick design of the car provides optimal traction on rough streets while the burly case provides protection in the concrete jungle. The thicker the tire, the harder it is for glass, pins, and other urban unpleasantries to worm their way in. The rubber is 2X the rubber. The lifespan of a tire is twice that of the rubber tread. The price is 50% off the competition. Smoother ride quality. Twice the rubber makes for a smooth ride.
👤These are in 25mm. They are great. It was very supple for the width. I haven't gotten any flats yet because the rubber is thick. I chose these tires because they were from a decent maxxis kevlar lined tire which prevented a lot of flats. Since I commute on these, I wanted them to be cheaper. There is a The maxxis tires are $60 to 70, while these are like $25. I've been pleasantly surprised by the ride. They have more grip than the maxxis tires but are a bit heavier. I've also owned marathons and gatorskins. Imo skingators are great tires, but they don't last because of the decay of the sidewalls and the heavy weight of the marathons. The above tires retail for over $50 a piece. Try these thick slicks and save some money.
👤The tread on my mountain bike makes it necessary to wear ear muffs while working out, so I started using an indoor trainer. The idea of having to swap a tire every time you ride outside with the kids seemed wrong, and it was likely that I would buy another rear wheel. The ThickSlick is silent on the trainer and road ready too. Problem solved!
👤This is the second set of tires that I have purchased. Let me tell you about them. The first pair lasted a long time. The front tire never went flat even after some of the nasty cuts and injuries I've seen in tires. The tire went flat after I hit the beer bottle. I had a flat with them. I'm estimating 5000 miles of use. The handling and roll of this tire are incomparable. I have been a lifelong customer of WTB. The only negative I can think of is people asking if your tires are bald. Explaining the difference between tires that are bald and slick is a lot of work. If you ride a 29er for street use, buy them. I got a pin flat after trying the Comps and using the K-guards.
👤I live in a city where the streets are in a poor state. The residents have begun celebrating birthdays and holidays with their neighborhood potholes adorned with banners, hats, and garlands to mark the occasion. There are now groups of people who fill in the potholes illegally to save the wheels of people who don't know how to drive. When I decided to put together a bike for my daily commute to work, this factored into my decision making. I wanted a tire that was wide enough to give me a good contact patch with the road, a tire that was sticky enough to keep me from sliding in corners that had been filled with gravel, and a tire that could take a beating. I did not consider the trade offs for what I wanted the tires to do when I looked at these tires. The tires are very heavy because they are wider. Very heavy. I am good at climbing hills on a bike, but it is difficult to get up some of the longer hills. I ride my mountain bike and road bike frequently. When compared to my Continental GP 4000sii tires or my set of tires on my mountain bike, these tires wear quicker. After 100 miles on the Thickslicks, those tires have started to go from a rounded shape to a square one. The last thing that's negative about these tires is that they're the hardest tires I've ever installed on a wheel. The wide profile and large white lettering on these tires look great. I have yet to get a flat with them despite riding on some very rough roads that I would not dare take my car down.
Repels humidity and protects it from the elements. It is made of iron and is practical for most bikes. The hub quick release lever is longer for the rear wheel. Short release lever for front wheel has a hollow shaft. The lever for the rear wheel has a hollow shaft size. You can use it to fix your mountain bike. It's the best choice for cyclists.
👤If I return the old one, I'll be off the road until a new one arrives, since I'm only 175 lbs. and an axle should never bend with such light use. It's better to pay more and do the job again.
👤Not the size that was advertised. It would be a 9mm axle. They don't fit in bike dropouts because they measure close to 9mm on the front and close to 9mm on the rear. Just ordered a new one. Hopefully this was a one off. The second set was the same size as the first and the races were bent as described by other reviewers. Unless you can not find any other set, I wouldn't buy these.
👤Today, it was installed. The 135mm dropout is the most common size. I can use the spacers from previous builds. I was lucky to get it adjusted to within. I decided to test ride it after installing the wheel back on the bike. I weigh about 200 lbs and am riding a bike casually up the street when I hear a rubbing sound and feel resistance pedaling. I inspect the bike on my bike stand after walking 200 feet home. I just installed a new axle and it was bent all the way until it hit the inside of the freewheel. I should have done that, but I saved myself some headaches by buying good axles.
👤I needed to remove the dust cover to swap out solid axels. I nicked the cone after tapping on the dust cover. The cone should not be soft. I hit the original cone to make sure it wouldn't nick. I hit it hard, but it didn't hestitate to hestitate. I used the old cones, but I had to use the axle. Hopefully it does not kill someone. I installed one of the cones from this set on another person's bike because the other ones were taking a long time to arrive. He had it on his bike for a while. I wanted to change it so there wouldn't be any issues. I wiggled the rim to see how it was after he stopped to talk. The cone was very badly warn when I removed the wheel to check it out. I replaced it with a better one. A good quality set of bamboo kitchen axels. The alta is junk soft metal. If you see any marks on the metal, hit the corner of a cone wrench. I use a lot of grease so it's not a lube problem.
👤You would think that you can go wrong, and perhaps I'm just unlucky. I received the parts in good time, but I couldn't get the rear wheel to spin right because of the rear skewer. I replaced and regreassed the ball bearings that had fallen out. I tinkered with it for a couple days, as the wheel was crooked and touching the frame. I pulled the axle out and it was bent. I checked the front and rear of the vehicle. The pro's to this product are obviously the price, and that's it, the material quality isn't great, the plastic on the locking lever after little use is starting to degrade, the springs on the skewer are fragile, and of course, the threads wanted to strip easily Not happy.
The industry standard in performance training bike tires is back and better than ever, with a refreshed design and increased performance. The Zaffiro tires of the past have subtle center grooves and shoulder texture, which make them feel secure while streamlining the look and feel for the future. The Zaffiro has a slick profile and Graphene compound that are similar to the Zaffiro's higher-end siblings. The Zaffiro Pro bike tire is an unbeatable package for everyday use and for training because of its high puncture protection and extended mileage. The tire is used by USA Cycling. Professional riders have tire choices. The winner of the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a Espaa, Classics, World Championships, European Championships and Olympic Games.
👤For 40 years, and 30 years, I have been riding a road and mountain. I've never ridden any of the products from Vittoria, but saw the Zaffiro Pro G2.0 was very well-reviewed and cheaper than the GP 4-Season. I use a flip-flops single-speed/fixie for my commute to and fro in San Francisco and installed a pair of the Zaffiro Pro G2.0 tires on an '80s Masi. The Zaffiro Pro G2.0 have a large contact patch for a 700x25c tire, but they don't fit under my Campy Record Delta brakes, which have super-tight clearance. There is a The Zaffiro Pro G2.0 ride is great for such a tire. The Zaffiro was replaced with these, and it feels much more comfortable in the city. I wouldn't put these on a roadbike that is doing high-speed tight cornering, but they are perfect for commute riding. I haven't ridden on wet surfaces yet, but the tread pattern looks great. Installation was easy, even on deep-V rims. The Zapphiro Pro G2.0 is a very good one. It's a great tire, hope Vittoria sells a billion of them.
👤Let's start with a negative. The 25Cs on my bike were wider than these tires. I wanted a tire that could handle rougher trails. I was disappointed after installing them and pumping them up. I had to take a ride on them, and that's where the magic happened. The tires are smooth and ride fast. I have a few hundred miles on them and they have no punctures or flats. There is still a market for wider tires.
👤Rubino Pro G2 and Rubino Pro III are great tires. The tire is terrible and I feel every bump and rattle on the road. The tire is awful to take off and then go back to Rubino. A compliant tire is important to me because I ride 120+ miles a week.
👤This is a good training tire. I've ridden over flats and piles of glass. The tire corners a little better than the Zaffiro 2, probably due to a more flexible tire. It comes in black, that's the only complaint I have. The Zaffiro 2 made a bike stand out.
👤I was very pleased with the tires. I've bought them many times, but mostly buy Continentals. I realized that the Connies are great tires, but they aren't as long-lived as these, and they cost twice as much. I have a set of 32mm tires that I put on my extra gravel bike wheelset, so I have a tire that will handle the road and the occasional dirt road or trail. Excellent value and a great tire with great grip... I was very pleased in every department. If you're not a racer and just want a tire that will handle anything, these should be a no-brainer.
It has never been so technical. The Zaffiro Pro Home tire is designed for smooth-rolling and quiet home training. The bike tire trainer has a special compound and tread pattern, plus their strongest casing, designed to reduce noise and heat generated by home cycling. The Zaffiro Pro indoor trainer tire will reduce your noise levels. Quiet cycling and no signs of wear and tear for hundreds of miles. It is easy to assemble. The process of fitting a trainer tire onto a rim is very simple and fast. Calibration of the tire-to-roller will be easy. The pressure should be between 100 and 145 psi. The tire is used by USA Cycling. Professional riders have tire choices. The winner of the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a Espaa, Classics, World Championships, European Championships and Olympic Games.
👤One star was bumped down. The new tire only lasted two seasons before it started splitting apart. All the information to include purchase dates, my address, and pictures was sent to me by email. I was asked to give them a call. My schedule doesn't allow me to call during the day so I leave a voicemail every time. More options should be available to get an RMA in this day and age. I think it was an old tire stock that I received. If you get a fresh tire, it will be great. Seven years? I only used the tire for seven years. I had to order another one because the first one was so bad that it rotted and cracked. Only after a long time. It didn't last forever. I would only rate it one star if I knew more.
👤This tire comes in a small box and is flat, so give it some time to adjust to room temp and rest, it sounds like we're cooking... I know. I'm not going to lie, I tried to get this sucker on my rim, but I was able to get it on the rim after a few attempts. I love the color of the tire on my front and rear tire, and I have been rocking it on my indoor trainer. I went there and it worked. Happy training. Cheers.
👤There is almost no wear after 2200 trainer miles. The metal of the trainer rubbing off the tire causes some blackening. This thing is ridiculous. I think it will be decades before I need another. I have over 1300 trainer miles on this tire and it still looks new. There is a small amount of red dust on my trainer. The tire is still performing like new after 1300 miles. I have been using these all winter since getting a smart trainer. I started with my regular tire and it was starting to wear out fast. I decided to order them. I have over 500 trainer miles on them, and you can't see any wear. My trainer is very pleased with them. It was easy to put them on my wheel. I use tire levers. I have one for my bike and one for my wife. Both of them are working well.
👤I used to run my bike tires on my trainer and the sound was so loud it would drive my family batty. I put this on the spare wheel. I had the local bike mechanic install it for me. I couldn't mount the tire I bought. Everyone says that the tire is made of a very hard rubber. It is very quiet. I have been using it for 400 miles and have no wear. After a short time, it will pick up a metalic substance. This is normal. Some rubbing alcohol and a rag can get it off. It's a good idea to keep it at 100psi, as the tire says, and to re-train after you do. I recommend this as I have good tires from Vittoria that I use on my wheels a lot.
The lightweight and portable waterproof raincoat is perfect for daily work, golf, fishing, hiking, camping, cycling, mills, Road construction, timber harvest, agriculture, mining, shipyards, forestry, utilities, hunting, food processing etc. It is great for all occasions. The trainer Road MTB bicycle has a quick release cycle skewer. The cycle rear wheel is held in the clamps. All rear cycle wheels with hollow axle have a standard rear skewer size. The trainer is profiled to secure into a cylindrical shape. If you've been riding indoors for a while, you've probably fallen over or tipped your bike out of the trainer. Skewer made a Trainer Skewer that was specifically designed for trainers to make sure you're always upright. It fits most rear wheels and is shaped to fit in the rear wheel mount of the trainer.
👤I was riding at 20 mph when this broke. I didn't get hurt when I fell into the stair. My husband is a mechanical engineer and he found that this was broken from a brittle fracture and that it was a poor quality material or an improper heat treat. Don't buy this and save your money.
👤I ordered a different one at first. It never showed up. I blame the USPS, but not the manufacturer. They are terrible. There's usually trouble when I order from the USPS. Tracking is when we have no idea where your stuff is, so it's running late. You need to stop doing business with them. Quwei Quick Release Rear Wheel Skewer is a product. I received it the next day and it was delivered by an Amazon van. It worked perfectly on the bike trainer. The bike trainer is from Amazon. I lost the skewer and this one. Good luck with USPS when it comes to delivery. Even though I was home all day waiting for it, the best one I got from the USPS was "Attempted delivery, no one home".
👤The product is garbage. The first time I tightened it, it snapped, it was purchased to set my bike up on the trainer. I'm thankful that it didn't allow me to put it on the trainer. A failure after setting up a trailer could cause serious injury. Do not buy this product if you want to hurt yourself.
👤The rear wheel of my car was installed and stayed in my basement for 3 days. I found it broken and on the ground. It could cause a serious injury if I was riding my bicycle. I would warn people about this product.
👤The skewer is being manufactured in a way that is not in line with the material selection or process used, which causes the skewer to break on the quick release side. I needed a longer skewer to attach the burley hitch to the child trailer. I was trying to align the trailer with the hitch when it broke, there was no load applied at the time. I was not pulling my children down the road when this happened. I wouldn't buy this product because your life depends on it.
👤This is being used with an older Kurt trainer. I bought another skewer from KurtKinetic for less than the one I bought. This one is about 4mm longer. My bike has 135mm rear dropouts. I think it would work with 130mm spacing, but I don't think it would make 142mm. If you have 142mm or higher, you would need a thru-axle and an accessory.
