1. Giro Infant Toddler Elements Universal

Giro Infant Toddler Elements Universal

Drugging: The construction is in-molding. It is easy, fun and designed for little ones. A shell with bug net construction. The little heads are kept cool with 6 vents. There is a built-in visor and pinch-proof buckle.

Brand: Giro

👤The black plastic strap fell off after a few uses. They are attached to the helmet with sticky pads. It's not worth having my child hurt with it. It's been a few months so can't return it. Everyone should steer away from the product. There are better options.

👤The inner band which cinches around the head is attached to the helmet itself, as noted in some of the other negative reviews. If the kid is in a bike seat or trailer that has objects around their head, the back of the helmet will catch, and the helmet will fall off their head, leaving them with an inner band around their head and the helmet hanging down their face. This is due to the lack of grip on the band and the unglued pads on the helmet. There is a I don't think it would stay on if it pops off when a ten month old turns, even if they're riding in a carrier that doesn't involve their head coming in contact with a seat or trailer. I own two Giro helmets. I don't understand why they made this helmet this way.

👤I read reviews before making a purchase. If you are like me, you should look elsewhere. The helmet is built to last and grow with your child. I bought it for my son when he was 10 months old. There is a lot of room for growth. Even though it is secure, it appears to be big because of the about of growth that it allows for. The helmet is easy to adjust in order to get a secure fit, and my son doesn't try to take it off. The visor reduces the amount of sun that goes into my son's eyes. The product is built to last.

👤I've used Giro's adult size helmets for several years and they aren't as good as this. This review is based on helmets my kids wore. The helmet issues are the same. There is a The shell of a kid's helmet is what you would expect. There is a flimsy fit of a plastic shell. The attachment to the helmet's shell is the issue. The shell is attached to the padding with a few thin strips of glue that quickly lose their ability to hold it together, resulting in the shell detaching from the padding. I'm surprised that Giro would risk its reputation and potential law suits because of its poor design. I don't recommend this product if you value your kids well-being.

2. Giro Fixture X Large Mountain Cycling

Giro Fixture X Large Mountain Cycling

Market-leading protection. Giro has a category-leading helmet test lab. INTEGRATED. The Multi-Directional Impact Protection System can be used in a crash. VENTILATION: There are 18 wind tunnel vents. Drugging: The construction is in-molding. Universal fit structuring: Straight out of the box, get the right fit.

Brand: Giro

👤I would like to thank Giro for the amazing product that saved my life. I took a mountain bike ride with two of my friends. Bug Springs is a famous mountain bike trail in Tucson. The trail is very technical. I was thrown over my handlebars by a bad line at the beginning of the ride. I saw that I was about to land on a rock as I fell. I tucked my neck in and hoped for the best. After landing, I yelled to my partners, "I'm ok", as they ran towards me. I stood up to show they were not hurt. I took off my helmet and saw that my visor and sunglasses had been broken. I was not hurt worse and my riding partners were amazed. I looked at the Giro Fixture helmet and saw that the hard shell had been smashed in and the core had cracked. I looked at the rock I landed on and thought I could have died without this helmet. I was able to finish the ride after I reassembled my gear. We only talked about the crash and the Giro helmet that saved me for the rest of the day. Giro helmet has gained a life long customer from me and two other riders. The Giro Fixture helmet is an outstanding construction and I was able to walk away with scratches on my hand and face.

👤I have been looking for a good helmet for a while. This one is amazing. I have a big head. That's my size for hats. This helmet isn't like a lot of helmets that have a bowl on the crown of your head. The helmet fits your head nicely. It makes us look normal. It's lightweight, breathes well, and looks good.

👤The fit and style is great but the design flaw is the lack of net in the vent to keep bees out. McGiver put screen netting in the front vents. I don't know how many times I have bees caught in my vent. A serious injury would have occurred if it wasn't for the net. I am bugged about this. I would probably choose a helmet with this included. My $30 helmet has this...

👤I had a Giro feature that saved me in a crash. I bought the Fixture because it seemed like the same as the Feature. I've ridden with it about 10 times and the visor has fallen off 3 times. My head was pulled back by a branch that got stuck in a vent hole. I rode with the feature for 6 years and it was nothing like that. I wish the visor was longer. The helmet is comfortable.

3. Giro Tremor MIPS Bike Helmet

Giro Tremor MIPS Bike Helmet

Market-leading performance and protection. Giro has a helmet test lab. The MIPS Brain Protection System is integrated with the Roc Loc Sport Fit System for an added measure of protection in certain impacts. Universal fit structuring: Straight out of the box, get the right fit. There are 18 vents. Light weight and resilience are important. Excess weight is eliminated and the tough outer shell is permanently fused to the interior liner.

Brand: Giro

👤The visor is not replaceable even though it is designed to snap on and off easily. This is my first experience with giro and it has left a bad taste in my mouth. Good companies typically can replace all of the parts on their products. From now on, I will probably avoid giro.

👤I bought a Giro helmet for my kid less than six months ago and it is going into the trash because of a cheap component that broke during adjustment. The knob came loose when it was turned to tighten. There was no sound of something breaking. I thought it might have been disconnected from something, but it's broken. How can a child be protected if it snaps? I expected this helmet to last several years until I outgrew it, so steer clear of it.

👤My daughter outgrew her little kid helmet so I ordered this helmet. The purple color has a black GIRO logo on it. We tried it on and it fit. She took off. She pointed out that it was supposed to be pink. She's sad about it, but the product seems to function well, so we've kept it, even though she's already worn it several times. It makes me wonder if this is the correct product I paid for and not a fake or a previous model. Someone would love to explain to us why we got the wrong helmet.

👤The helmet is perfect for active kids. My 4 year old daughter was upgraded from the Scamp when she got her first bike. She wore the scamp well on her balance bikes. It fits like a mountain bike helmet, with full coverage around the base of her head. The base of the head is not covered by normal helmets. The size is correct. There is a The bright green color of the visor makes it easier to see cars and it keeps the sun off her eyes. It works like a safety vest without the risk of the other kids making fun of her. It was a parent trick. The straps are fully adjusted. I think this will fit her until she is at least 10 years old. We will be worth the price, we cannot recommend this enough.

👤Where is the description for this helmet that came up under searching for adult helmets?

👤This is a great investment for anyone looking for a helmet that won't kill their budget and functions well. I wear it for mountain biking. I'm still learning to improve my skills and that leads to some pretty special crashes at times so I'm always worried about safety. I don't have any concerns about this helmet. I tested the helmet's breathability by standing in front of a fan and it blew at me. The air flow is amazing. I don't think I'll get overheated while I ride. It's so lightweight that I don't notice it at all, except for the view of the visor at the top of my peripheral vision. The universal youth helmets fit me better than the adult women's sizes because I am an adult with a small head. I used the chart to measure my size. The helmet's purple color is almost more blue than its purple counterpart. I would have been on cloud nine with it if it was the same color as the lining pads and the buckles. I have no regrets with my purchase. I had to return a helmet I received because of a defect in the packaging. The replacement was in perfect working order and the exchange was fast. There is a The lightweight budget friendly is a good thing. Easy to adjust. It wasn't what I expected.

4. Giro Trella MIPS Cycling Helmet

Giro Trella MIPS Cycling Helmet

The fit head size is listed. The adult bike helmet with an over 360 adjustment dial offers a perfect fit with just one hand. 2 straps keep the bicycle helmet securely in place and quick-release buckles with a one-touch control for riders to easily put on and off. For men and women, the head size is 22 to 24 Inches. Market-leading protection. Giro has a category-leading helmet test lab. It's called MIPS. The Multi-Directional Impact Protection System can be used in a crash. COMFORT: The Roc Loc Sport MIPS Fit System can be used to adjust position and tension. There are 18 vents. Universal fit structuring: Straight out of the box, get the right fit.

Brand: Giro

👤I don't like wearing helmets because they cause me to sweat and my head hurts. I don't mind wearing it because it is lightweight and comfortable. It's as stylish as a helmet can be. I liked it so much that my partner bought one in gray. I would recommend and buy again.

👤The money was wasted. I bought a helmet for my girlfriend. She liked it, but the visor went off. Giro supports tells us there is no way to get a new visor. The helmet can be thrown away. That's ridiculous. It was new and cannot be used. Pass on this product.

👤The helmet is lightweight and comfortable. It didn't work for me. The dial at the back is hard to access. The plastic of the helmet makes it difficult to grasp the knob with 2 fingers. It becomes difficult to turn the dial with just your thumb because the knob gets stiffened as you tighten the helmet. I could get my finger under the plastic to get a better grasp, but it was a tight squeeze. I found it difficult to unlatch the chinlatch. I had to work on it. Maybe it was just the helmet.

👤I like this helmet. There is a It's light and comfortable, but resistant. I hit a couple of things while carrying them towards my bike and it looks like it did not have scratches. There is a The front part of the body protects it from the sun and rain. I have a small head and face and it does not look big on me, but there is still a margin that would suit someone with a bigger head. I love the color, it's matching my bike, and it goes without saying that I am well visible in traffic. I strongly recommend it.

👤I think I have become accustomed to the lower ears and more material on the back of my head after wearing a Bern for the past 5 years. The helmet will be good for most women. It's not what I'm used to for feeling safe. I think so.

👤I gave one of these to my wife as a gift. It's lightweight and stylish, and should provide good protection. I don't think she has a large head or big hair, and it barely fits her. I would have ordered her a mens helmet if I had to do it again.

👤I wear this guy when I don't park skate or ride my bike. It's comfortable and I like to wear a visor.

5. Giro Montaro MIPS Helmet Matte

Giro Montaro MIPS Helmet Matte

Market-leading protection. Giro has a category-leading helmet test lab. It's called MIPS. The Multi-Directional Impact Protection System can be used in a crash. Light weight and drugs. The shell is in-mold. The full hardbody wrap protects the liner from the elements. VENTILATION: There are 16 wind tunnel vents. Gogle has a visor and fully adjusted P.O.V.

Brand: Giro

👤I asked for feedback as I was buying these and I got some good responses but also some incorrect responses. I decided to post my reviews with pictures as proof. I received this today and decided to post a review between the chronicle and Montaro. The Chronicle is the better helmet. The chronicle is red and the Montaro is black. The Montaro seems to fit a little bit softer. The difference between the two is insignificant. The chronicle seems to be better. It protects the rear of your head. The Monterey is lighter because it doesn't provide as much protection on the rear. The bill does not change. The chronicle can be changed. The chronicle can be tightened around your head and adjusted vertically. The montero is not as soft as the chronicle but it seems to be better built. The montero has style points in the grooves design, but the chronicle looks better on the head. I don't know why the Montaro costs more. The chronicle has more features that seem to be better quality. Chronicle is the winner. You can see the pics and judge for yourself.

👤This is not a typical review. I haven't taken a ride with it yet. I will update when I do. There is a My first Giro bike helmet is this one. A few weeks ago, when I crashed my gravel bike and hit my head on the asphalt, I was saved from serious injury. I wanted one with a visor and a little more protection. I went with this helmet because of the visor and life-saving experience I had from Giro. It did not fail to impress. It fits my head perfectly, with room for my skull cap, to keep the sweat out of my eyes. It sits low on my head, which is supposed to be ideal height. It is light and comfortable. I use this helmet on my road bike because it has a visor. In the winter time, when you're staring into the Sun half the time, a visor is a great accessory. I'm really happy to have a helmet like that.

👤I wore this helmet for a week and did a few rides. I am happy with everything it provides. The MIPs performs as it should and it feels safe. The helmet is very comfortable and I don't notice it when I ride. There is nothing amazing about style. The go pro mount is my only gripe. It feels like cheaper plastic and the way it is designed is not good. They provide very thin felt on the sides of the mount which doesn't provide a tight seal when it's in use and that makes the footage shakey. I attached thicker felt. After removing the wobble, the plastic mount clips wore down and now it will pop right off with little help. This makes it useless. Not a big deal. It's still a safe helmet. I wouldn't buy it for that feature as it's poorly executed here.

6. Giro Trinity Helmet Matte Titanium

Giro Trinity Helmet Matte Titanium

Universal fit structuring: Straight out of the box, get the right fit. The fit system for the sport. The shell is in-mold.

Brand: Giro

👤I already own a Giro Revel and they are nearly the same in shape, weight, padding, price, and branding as the Trinity. The Trinity has a better fit. I shave my head and wear a liner. There are subtle stripes from front to back. Most of my kit is made up of Giro. It is all comfortable and durable.

👤It was proven less than a week after I bought it. The train station is about 2 miles from my home. I fractured my ankle and got hit by a car on the Friday of the first week. I felt my head hit against the pavement but it felt like it landed on a soft pillow. The helmet worked well. It's easy to adjust. There is a The only downside is the neck straps, they're a little finnecky and don't always stay the length you set them too, have to keep re-adjusting them, so shaving off a star because of that alone.

👤I got a helmet last week, but on my usual Saturday ride. I had an unfortunate fall after a small miss calculation. I was riding a little to fast when I stumbled, I rolled to the floor and felt a small push from the back of my head as I hit the ground. My head is fine. My ego was not hurt as I fell in an intersection where vehicles are stopped at a redlight. Everyone was looking at me. It is all good. When I had my first crash, I was glad I had a helmet on. I am ok, except for some scratches at the back of the helmet. I would buy another giro in the future.

👤This helmet is very good. I wanted to upgrade my helmet to something with more air flow. The helmet hit the mark. Giro is a trusted brand for my cycling friends and I am pretty new to road cycling. This helmet is lightweight, fits comfortably, allows wonderful air flow, and it was a great price. I hope I never have to say it is durable.

👤Since I don't see a lot of absorbent material, I have some concerns with the sweat band and the cleaning. I'll save that later. There is a I've been playing with the straps for the last 30 minutes because they're too short. I'm debating returning it and replacing it with the helmet I had before, but another color, because this is not comfortable. I've noticed that other people have the same opinion about the straps. The ones that fit for the front are too short. I couldn't open my mouth to drink water while riding. I might just cut a length of the same fabric and use black nylon thread to fix my helmet. I'm not happy at all.

7. Giro Fixture Sport Helmet MATTE

Giro Fixture Sport Helmet MATTE

Drugging: In-molding construction. Market-leading protection. Giro has a category-leading helmet test lab. Universal fit structuring: Straight out of the box, get the right fit. There are 18 vents. Drugging: In-mold construction.

Brand: Giro

👤I am glad I wore this helmet because I have been using it only for mountain biking. I hit a tree at 20 mph. If I hadn't been wearing this helmet, I wouldn't be writing this. The crack in the styrofoam material was caused by the crash. This is supposed to happen to a helmet when it is hit hard. The helmet is better than a crack in my skull. I have no problem buying another helmet from Giro at this price.

👤I purchased this helmet because it was advertised as having Mips. I received a helmet that has no indication on the box, no sticker, and no Mips system. I have a helmet in my possession that I can see the difference on the inside. I would not recommend purchasing from this brand.

👤The helmet fits well. It is easy to adjust the light weight. The helmet is considerably lighter in color than the photo shows. Light grey instead of dark. I like it.

👤The helmet was small for my head, but I liked it. The compound for people with big heads is a helmet made by Giro. I returned the fixture for the compound.

👤This is the fourth helmet I have tried. This one was the most comfortable for me. I like the look of it. This doesn't have the technology. MIIPS costs $20 more and is a new tech that is not proven to be worth the extra money. My previous helmet was a GIro. I have it as a backup. I think they have the best value. I feel safe. The visor should be lowered for riding into a sunset. No big deal. A mesh to keep bugs out. I wear a liner to protect me from the sun.

👤It could be better, but it's worth it. I ordered this helmet for my husband because he picked it. He didn't want to spend a lot on a helmet, he liked the way it looked, and he didn't want MIPS. There is a He says that this one is pretty comfortable. If you hit the helmet with your hand, you can feel it hitting your skull. We compared my Giro helmet with my own and it didn't feel the same. It felt better when I put the thicker foam strips from my helmet into the Giro mtb helmet. We ordered replacement foam strips from Amazon and will use them on the top of the head. The forehead foam band is good and doesn't need a replacement. I don't like how this helmet looks on the forehead, but the whole point is to protect your noggin. If you don't want to spend a lot, this one is a great price and seems to do the job.

8. Giro Isode Helmet Matte White

Giro Isode Helmet Matte White

Market-leading protection. Giro has a category-leading helmet test lab. It's called MIPS. The Multi-Directional Impact Protection System can be used in a crash. Universal fit structuring: Straight out of the box, get the right fit. VENTILATION: There are 24 vents.

Brand: Giro

👤I'm sure the helmet would come off my head if I fell because the side strap is sewn to its length and there is so much slack. The chin strap and the back knob are the only adjustments I can make. It was useless.

👤The helmets are comfortable and the last one protected me in an accident. I've been wearing helmets since the 70s. There was only one choice back then. I'm happy that there are more choices. Giro helmets are my choice. I fell hard on my left side after I lost control on a crossing in May. The helmet was cracked. The ER doctor was impressed when I showed him it. I bought a new helmet the next day. A Giro is of course.

👤I wear a 7 1/2 inch hat. I bought the largest shell they offer and adjusted the helmet all the way out, but it was on top of my head. If you have a large noggin, look elsewhere, I gave the helmet to my eight year old son.

👤This is the worst Giro helmet I have ever owned. There is a Giro has been a well known brand and has never let me down. My first adult helmet was a Giro and I liked it. Every other version of the system has been implemented. This helmet has taken three steps back and had an old version of the Roc Loc that was not as flexible as the previous version. The minimum that has been added is the one they added. It looks unfinished on the top. There is a Since my first Giro helmet, I have been loyal. For the past 12 years, I have bought helmets every season. The lowest price Giro helmets have been obtained by me. There is no comparison between high-end and low-end. I have warned before that the Giro helmets in this price range are the worst I have ever seen. The AGILIS is worth an extra$40.

👤I gave this helmet to a friend to replace his damaged Giro helmet. The straps on this helmet are softer and more flexible than on the previous helmet, and it is very comfortable against my face, unlike the previous helmet, which had to dig into the edge of my ears. The styrofoam protective layer is molded directly into the shell, and the single-knob size adjustment on the helmet is the best mechanism I have found on any helmet. If you need to wear a winter cap under it on a cold morning, it's very easy to change it once the air temperature warms up, but you need to remove it later when the air temperature is still cold. It has a light weight and durable shell that will not fail. I have never had a helmet crash tested, but this helmet appears to be as good as any helmet I have ever used to protect my skull in a crash.

9. Giro Vanquish Helmet Matte Black

Giro Vanquish Helmet Matte Black

Market-leading performance and protection. Giro has a helmet test lab. The aerodynamic design uses Transform Air Technology to reduce drag. The MIPS Brain Protection System is integrated with the Roc Loc 5 Air Fit System for an added measure of protection in certain impacts. VIVID SHEILD has a magnetic on/off system and VIVID lens technology that increases contrast and definition while keeping colors true to life. VENTILATION AND COMFORT. The wind tunnel vents allow air to flow through the helmet. The Roc Loc 5 Air fit system can be used to adjust vertical position and tension.

Brand: Giro

👤The Giro Aeon has been my primary helmet for the past year. That is the basis for the comparison. I have not worn this helmet on any rides without the visor because I only bought it for the visor. I've taken it out on 4 rides, one of which included a 889' climb with 4% decent. I've been a cyclist for over 20 years and can be a little critical when it comes to my gear. The helmet is not perfect out of the box, so I give it 4 out of 5 stars. The desire to purchase an aero helmet is due to the winds being 5-10 mph this summer. My first ride with this helmet was on a windy day. I noticed a reduction in drag about two miles into my ride. I ride a road with a 45 mph speed limit in between my house and my favorite cycling trail at 41 mph. I am very pleased with the reduction in air resistance. There is a The videos on the Giro website presented some interesting airflow and wind tunnel tests that had me very optimistic about the cooling effects. The Giro Aeon is my go to helmet when there is no wind and it is noticeably cooler. During the months of July and August, it is usually between 85 and 100 degrees. The conditions are very bad. The visors block some of the air flow that would come up from underneath the helmet. The four vents on the visor bring in air. I have to hold my head at a specific angle to maximize the air flow. This is not going to be a problem during the fall, winter and spring. I anticipate loving this helmet in the fall and spring. I ride down to 20 degrees if there is snow or ice on the road. Reduced air flow is going to be good. Giro makes their helmets with nice color schemes. The designers could have put more effort into the appearance of the helmet. I had a hard time selecting a color. I didn't like the color black. I like helmets that help drivers spot me on the road. The white was not colorful. I spent a few days making metallic silver strikes with a black fade. I'm not the best at airbrushing so it's not perfect but it looks better in the meantime. There is a I am okay with the lens. I haven't experienced any issues with fogging yet. The magnetic locks seem to work well so far. The visor has a good field of view and does not interfere with my peripheral vision, which was a major concern. The glare off the road and trail surfaces hasn't been too bad with the lens that came with it. I wanted to order a clear lens so I could wear my photochromic cycling glasses underneath, but they are not cheap and hard to find. Giro does not sell replacement glasses. When I contacted Giro to inquire about replacements, I was sent a link to a different website. There is a handling fee for orders under $100. It would have been great if Giro could have ordered the helmet directly from them. I don't want the lens that comes with the helmet in winter. I need a clear lens so I can wear my photochromic cycling glasses. The anti-fogging will be tested in the winter. I wear a balaclava. The glasses fog when I stop breathing. I'm hoping the lens is far away to prevent that from happening.

10. Giro Verce Helmet Matte Midnight

Giro Verce Helmet Matte Midnight

A low friction chin strap and high quality buckle ensure it holds in place under stress.

Brand: Giro

👤Giro did away with their favorite size for their helmets because they were my favorite. I had a similar helmet a few years ago and thought the new one would be the same. My old one was women's M and now it's universal fit, meaning it's one size fits all. This thing is too small despite being labeled universal fit. Giro decided women mountain bikers have only small heads because I don't have a large head or difficult to size for other products. Sucks.

👤The helmet is very small and very nice. I could say that my cerebral capacity was the reason for the size difference, but my 8 year old son had to be adjusted to the maximum band size. I gave it to my son and then bought him a helmet. I am able to wear adult sized baseball caps. Maybe this was a mistake?

👤I asked if there was a difference between the size of the outer shell of the Giro Verse MIPS helmet and the women's version. I thought I had received both versions of the same thing. . Here, answer the question. The women's version has a smaller outer shell, which makes it a better fit for me. The Midnight color is something I like. I was wondering if it was too purple, but it was a great color. The accent color of the strap and labeling makes it look even more blue to me. I am very happy with it.

👤This is the most comfortable helmet I have ever worn. I was hesitant to buy this one because of the mixed reviews, but after having the helmet, I don't understand a lot of them. It's light, functional, and attractive. All the things I wanted. The size was correct. It's a great fit, I measured my head before I bought it. It can be adjusted in the back. It's odd that the straps around the ears don't have an adjustment area. I didn't need to adjust that area with this helmet. I'm glad I bought it.

👤I liked this helmet but when I tried to tighten it it wouldn't let me do it safely. I don't know how to contact the manufacturer on Amazon about this issue.

👤The Giro Verce MIPS helmet fits well, unlike the helmets that I have purchased in the past. I like black straps, but I'm getting used to the light blue ones. I mostly use it for the road because of the visor, even though it's a mtn bike helmet.

11. Giro Cinder Cycling Helmet Medium

Giro Cinder Cycling Helmet Medium

Market-leading protection. Giro has a category-leading helmet test lab. It's called MIPS. The Multi-Directional Impact Protection System can be used in a crash. COMFORT: The Roc Loc 5 fit system can be used to adjust vertical position and tension. VENTILATION: There are 26 wind tunnel vents. Light weight: In-molding construction.

Brand: Giro

👤The inside of the helmet has a clear plastic sheet with holes in it. It's probably not a big deal for production cost calculations. It is a bike helmet like any other $30 helmet that I own. The black-white contrast of the slots are sleek. It pains me that I fell for the coolness factor when I bought this helmet, but I wouldn't buy it again.

👤The helmet has a lot of space on the side. It was designed for a round head, but it didn't feel right to me. Propero III by Specialized is a helmet that fits better for an oval head.

👤Awesome helmet. I have owned Giro helmets for 5 years. The reason I gave 4 stars was because the red color doesn't match the bright red in the picture that Giro has on their website.

👤I bought the Cinder to see if I could get an upgrade from the Syntax. The Cinder was disappointing to me. The design makes you look like the Coneheads. The sides are so narrow that they give me a huge headaches after I took the helmet off. There is a Finally the weight. It was like I had a bowling ball on my head. This helmet is poorly designed. The Syntax and Foray are both more comfortable than you might think. They look a lot better than this.

👤The retention system is pretty good. The helmet can really strap your skull in close. The cap opened up nicely and was cinched tight with the extra layer. I have a large head and a fitted cap. There is a This is a big helmet and heavy with a wide profile, which is my only criticism. The Giro Synthe is a better bet if you want more aerodynamic. There is a With it being such a big helmet and the fact that my dome is well protected, it definitely gives me more confidence when I ride my bike. The helmet has a nice design. So far, so good. If the helmet had a slight slimmer profile, I would get a 5 Star.

👤I have had many Giro helmets over the years and this one is no exception. The Cinder MIPS seems to be very comfortable. I don't notice the weight of the size medium because I have it on, but it's 330 grams and I have it on. The Cinder should be very safe with the built-in Roll Cage technology. The helmet is too warm on a hot day, especially on the climbs. The smaller-sized vents on the CInder may be the reason for this, as well as the plastic liner that wraps around your head, which seems to hold the heat in. The heat retention is a downside of standard helmets. Giro has a new system called "Spherical" that doesn't require a plastic liner. The liners are being moved away from the other manufacturers. I'll probably replace my CInder with a Spherical helmet when they come down in price or go on sale.
