👤It was mounted on the wall. The bike pulled out of the wall as soon as it was hung up. When I hung the bike, the mount twisted up like a pretzel after being re-mounted. Junk made cheap.
👤I bought this for the garage to get my bike out of the way. I will be getting another so we can get our bikes out of the way. It is easy to use. Great for price.

If you have any questions or queries, please get in touch with them and they will be more than happy to help. Only install bike wall hanger on a solid stud, beam, masonry or concrete wall. Unless there is a strong wooden stud behind the wall, do not install on it.
👤The rack is nice. It is built out of quality materials and has a lot of flexibility. The mounting points for this rack are a bit odd. They provide you with 3 small screws and masonry wall anchors, when they should have provided a beefier faceplate and 2 lag bolts to mount into a stud. My solution was to take a piece of scrap wood and mount it vertically to a stud using 2 heavy duty lag bolts, then mount the original screws to the wood. The rack gets 5 stars from me.
👤I was concerned my handlebars were too long for your wall mount, so I sent Chris a letter. To make sure they fit, I put a 2x6 board on my wall stud and then put a wall hanger on the board. It allowed plenty of room for the handlebars. There is a I had a problem attaching the hanger to the studs behind the plaster board. There is a one and three-eights inch distance between the wall hanger's two holes. The wall thickness is one and one-half inches. There is no time to get a strong attachment with only a quarter inch overlap. The instructions give a good idea of how to install the hanger on the wall. They warn that the plasterboard won't support the hanger. Very true. The wall stud's width is insufficient. Instructions to attach a 2x6 to a wall stud and then attach a hanger to that board were added by me. There is a The cradles for the bike are red or black, which is a point of favor for the Pro Bike system. The shape of your cradles allows room for the control cables if the bike has them beneath the cross bar. Great feature. There is a Thanks for your help. I hope my experience is useful to others. You have a good product.
👤Highly recommend this bike storage system. Enough about how great it is. I want to know how to install it. You probably do as well. I installed 3 holders. The first thing to do was to find the studs. To double check the exact location of the stud, I used a finishing nail and hammer to find the sides of the stud. I was glad I did because some of the stud finders locations weren't right. There is a You can mount the 3 holes of the brackets into one stud with longer screws than those that come with the kit. Some people have said this works. It didn't seem like it would be stable. I decided to mount a 2x6 across two studs. A 2x4 is not wide enough. I cut the 2x6's 22” long so they fit over the end of each stud. I used lag screws to attach the 2x6's to the studs. I used lag screws on both ends. There is a You will need a impact driver to get the lag screws into the stud. A regular drill won't do it. If you don't have an impact driver, you can always use a sockets wrench. After I tightened the lag screws down, I had to use a sockets for the 5/16 lag screw. I measured the bikes with the holder to make sure there was enough space between them. The measurement resulted in a spacing of 40” from the top of one board to the top of the next board. It was perfect for my bikes. Different spacing is required for your bikes. The wall mounts are perfect. Unlike other systems that are horizontal, these allow you to adjust the arms to fit the different types of cross members as not all bikes are alike. I think they are worth the money. The 2x6x8 was $11 and the 12 lag screws were $9. If you decide to purchase these, I hope this helps.
The bike fixed hook is an ideal choice. The bike wall racks are a great solution for storing your bikes. If you are looking for a sturdy and efficient bike rack, then this Gootus bicycle wall mount is what you want. They will be happy to help you if you have any questions. The weight capacity of the wall mount is 50 lbs., with 2 inch wall mounting screws. The weight capacity of the wall mount is 50 lbs., with 2 inch wall mounting screws.
👤I think the screws have been upgraded as they were steel not aluminum and thick. I figured out how to hang them vertically so that we don't have to lift our bike over another and so far they seem great.
👤Get better screws before you install them. The screw became stripped as I tightened it. The cheap quality of hardware they send is shown if a screw is stripped from my hands. Get better screws before mounting. There is a The bike is held in the rack.
👤The need to get the bike off the ground during the winter months in Wisconsin necessitated the purchase of the rack. There were many reviews indicating issues with the screws. The reviewer used a 5/32 inch drill bit to drill the pilot hole. The screw threads were waxed. The piece of cake needs to be installed. The bike is on the rack and ready for winter. The bike arms are designed for round frames and not frames which are more flat. It works well for the flatter frame, but rides a little above the bottom of the arm. The rack is very durable and a good price.
👤These are great and great because they save a lot of space for you by using the wall instead of occupying space that you could use for something else and very reasonable price. I got 3 of them. They had their own screws. I've been hanging the bike for a month and they are reliable.
👤It will not sit on the wall because it came bent in a very awkward way. They decided to strip the screw heads. There is no way to remove the bike rack from my wall. The instructions on the Amazon page only told me to screw into the studs. It sticks out a lot. I need this because my bmx bikes have very wide handlebars and an ordinary bike will stick out and take up a lot of the room. My bmx race bike is 22 pounds and makes it flex a bit. If I put my other bike on it, how much it would flex?
👤The rack works well. Some users had complaints about the mounting screws. The hardware is fine if you drill a 5/32" pilot hole and use the correctsize phillips screwdriver. I think others were using a smaller phillips.
👤It is easy to mount and hold my mountain bike. I put the supplied screws in my parts bin and pulled out a couple lag screws with washers and mounted it. Job done! You can see from the photo that it seems to apply a little pressure to the cables, but they still move freely. This is a wall mount and also a cheap work rack because I can make adjustments to my brakes and derailleurs. My frame is an older aluminum one, so it's at least 30 lbs. I think this is durable enough to last.
👤I know what I'm doing when it comes to carpentry, so I don't think this is on me. The stud was located and the pilot was drilled with a 3/16 bit based on visually matching the screw. The head started to strip in a bad way when the screw was halfway in. I tried to remove it with a drill or a hand tool, but the stripped screw made it impossible to do so. The head was shorn smooth by the driver. I didn't use a small driver bit to start. There is a I was able to twist the screw out of the wall with a pair of vise grips, but it was very slow. I need to re- install my screws. I'm giving this two stars because no product should come with installation hardware that ruins the utility of the product.
No hooks, straps, bars or other equipment is needed. Installation and mounting hardware is included. The bike hooks are moved. The garage bike rack can be changed. All hooks can be moved around on the panel according to your needs. The rails can be installed in either high or low positions. The bike hooks don't fit fat tire bikes. The hooks are small and can hold bike accessory. The distance between the mounting holes is less than 16 so it's not possible to install on wood stud. Their wall mount bike rack is convenient to install on any surface with a standard distance between the mounting holes. The bike holder is made of thick steel and can hold up to 500 lbs. The finish resists chipping. The bike rim is protected from being scratched by the rubber cover hooks. The bicycle storage rack is easy to install with common tools. The bicycle storage rack is easy to install with common tools.
👤I had to make a decision on a sturdy bike rack to hold our 4 bikes in my utility room. There is a This was a winner. The rack was not one continuous rack, which I loved. I was able to install two side by side to hold 4 bikes and use the other two rack pieces for our helmets and camel packs at a lower level. Heavy duty hooks are easy to install. I would recommend anyone for indoor or outdoor use.
👤We were able to install it in less than an hour after delivery. It was easy to setup. We had to save some space in the garage. There are 3 children and 2 adults with bikes. We have a small balance bike, 12 inch bike, 20 inch bike, 26 inch bike, and 26 inch tricycle. It is definitely worth buying. Let's see how it holds up over the next few months. It will be easier to parking in the garage.
👤We have six bikes and mulitple helmuts, at first I was skeptical, but this product is the real deal. It's easy to install and does exactly what it's advertised. I would buy it again and give it a 5 stars, which is something I rarely do when writing a review. This one surpasses all expectations.
👤The bike rack was easy to install. I bought tapcon masonry screws instead of the included hardware because I wanted to install it in a cinder block wall. It freed up a lot of room in my garage. I would definitely recommend this unit.
👤It works as advertised. The reason for the 4 stars is because you have to be careful taking the bike off and putting it back on.
👤The rack was perfect for my needs. It holds two bikes. You can adjust where the bikes hang.
👤I don't often leave reviews, but this bike rack is awesome. It's easy to install. Although there are enough studs to anchor it on, we weren't lucky enough to have the pre-made holes line up with the studs on the wall. I drilled my own hole into the metal with a drill bit and then screwed it into a stud. Would buy again.
👤I mounted the bikes to the wall of my garage to free up more space. It's worth the money.
Attach the hooks to your bike, lift and lock, and you can hang a bike, kayaks, extension ladders and other gears. Attaching ceiling storage rack to ceiling storage rack will maximize your storage space. Solid steel can hold a bit of weight if secured properly. 6 pieces of Flat hooks are included in the package. You can save up to 3 bikes of storage space by installing these hooks. The shelving hooks can be used in hanging bicycles, as well as hanging large tools, sporting goods, lawn chairs and other items.
👤They are easy to use and install. I wish they were one inch longer, but that's not the case. They are being used with the FLEXIMOUNTS wall shelf garage storage rack.
👤It worked well with ceiling rack.
👤It would work with my mount. It didn't fulfill the purpose that I wanted. Make sure the item is compatible with your storage rack. The item is very sturdy and will install quickly since it hangs over the wires. Unless you are installing on a wall, there are no tools required.
👤I was not sure until I tried it. This is compatible with overhead racks.
👤I'm using these to hang my power tools and they're doing a great job. There were no issues.
👤These are lifesavers. The price was a bit high. It is so worth it. They are strong and fit perfectly.
👤These are perfect for me. My bikes are hanging from the rack.
👤Product was described. Excellent quality and sturdiness. Attaches easily to my overhead rack. The finish on the hooks was scratched and chippy. This isn't a big deal since these are just going in the garage. Would purchase again.
👤I bought these to hold my wife's bike. I think they will do the job.
It's easy to install, you just need an electric drill and a level to make sure it's lined up in a row for mounting on the wall. The wall collapsed in 16 inches. Installation of paneled wall sheeting must be located to solid structures. All installation hardware is included. The heavy-duty garage bike rack is able to hold up to 66 lbs. It depends on the strength of the wall. The bike hooks are light-weight and durable. All wheels should be fit in the range of 14 to 29" The max rim depth is 50mm. Assembly is not required to install the bike rack. Place studs, tighten screws, and drill hole. You can hang and detach the bike with the wall bike rack hook. The screws and studs are included. Four mounting points and side design make fastening sturdy. The metal hook is covered with rubber which makes it harder to fall on your bike. The holder has a protective plastic coating and is soft. The safety hook has a locking mechanism. Practical and save space. All types of bikes are suitable for the Steady Rack Bike Rack. Lifetime warranty, including 4PCS bike wall mounts, 4PCS bike rack straps, 16 x screws, and 16 x plastic expansion. They will spare no effort to make you completely satisfied.
👤It's easy to set up and comes with straps to hold the wheels and handlebars in place. I have four bikes in my garage. I drilled a pilot hole into the cleat I mounted on the wall, and used the existing screws without a problem, and it stayed put. I used a small wrench to tighten that screw. There is a The bike mout has a hook. The lock is secure and the strap helps keep my bikes in a row. The bicycle's wheels are against the ground. There is a If you use them to hang multiple bikes side by side as me, you will need to leave enough room between them to get a bike to the right. I have the hangers up sixteen inches apart. The kids can put their bikes up. The bike rack gets 5 stars from me.
👤The wall mounts look good. When using a driver to install the screws, the heads snapped off because they were low grade. You can get some decent screws for $4 at a hardware store.
👤The mounts are easy to install and can hold a lot of weight. The hardware they come with is terrible. More: The mounts work very well, as you can see from the attached photos. I use them to store large and small bikes close to the ceiling in the garage, this keeps them out of the way and frees up a lot of space. You should mount them directly into your studs. I wouldn't feel comfortable using the anchors. You should get your own screws. Quality screws can be found at any hardware store. The screws they provide are complete trash. You can twist the screw head to get it into the wall stud. I'm not sure if the screws would be strong enough to hold a bicycle. The included hardware is cheap and could be dangerous.
👤The hooks are five stars and I will buy more, but the supplies screws are criminally negligent. The screws break near the head when screwed into regular 2x studs. I have never seen screws that brittle. The screws are too small for the wall anchor. There is no holding power when you try to attach these without a stud behind them. The supplies anchors need two sizes of screws to work. I can only give a three-star rating for a product which is useful but dangerous through negligent accessories. The straps are very long and they don't make sense. When the hook is at the right height, where the bike puts slight downward pressure through its weight onto the hook, stabilizing the bike by itself, they are not needed.
👤There was no documentation upon hanging the first hanger, two of the four screws snapped in half under the power of a screwdriver, and three of the four screws on the second hanger snapped. This is not the captain America's shield, it is the wood studs that were being used to install it. I got back from the hardware store and reinstalled the first two hangers and the third using screws that are supposed to be used for wood rather than pudding, which is what I think the others screws must be used for. The fourth hanger had to be installed in the wall. I used the anchors. After returning from the hardware store a second time, I was able to hang the fourth one in the wall with the help of the anchors. There is a My five year old will play with the straps until one of the bikes does something bad and has to be grounded, which is the only thing I can think they are for. Save your money. Don't buy it.

👤The extension ladder is in the garage. It was easy to install.
👤These were used to hang fishing rods. I could lay three rods across two of them. It's easy to screw in. The studs can be found. The pilot holes are easy to screw in. My surf rods are kept out of the way.
👤I thought the item was a bit overpriced. I found them cheaper at home depot, but they were a bit stronger than the home depot stock.
👤Medium to light duty, you can get it at the same price everywhere.
👤It's cheap without making them skinny or flimsy. See. Nice and strong. They need to be sure they screw into the stud.
👤I hold my ladders and bikes just fine.
👤It is easy to install in the garage.
👤They were bought to hang stuff from the garage ceiling. No complaints, strong and sturdy.
The bike cell phone holder can be attached or removed from any size of handlebars. Just put it on a wristwatch. The rubber coated hooks are designed to protect your bike from scratches. It's easy to install, you just need to mount to your ceiling joist or rafter. You can have your kayak hanging in your garage with the minimum of tools. Heavy products can be lifted up to 100lb. There is capacity. The bicycle hoist is the one the other are trying to copy. They do not cut corners. You've heard of the original RAD Bike hoist. Indoor ceilings can be up to 12 feet high. You won't know what to do with all the floor space once the bike is out of the way. The safe locking mechanism prevents accidental release. No one wants to find their bike on the floor when they come home.
👤The directions were easy to follow. The other reviews were helpful. Here are my thoughts for you. 1. The pulleys should be mounted on a 2x4 or a 2x6 Most places will cut in half for you if you don't have a saw, if you get a 10 footer at a hardware store. You can throw the screws in the trash. You will strip them before they are put into the wood. Pick up your wood and get some deck screws. The 2x4 or 2x6 sections should be mounted with lag bolts and washers. 3. Before you mount it on the ceiling, you need to run the lines through the hooks and pulleys. Before you mount it to the 2x4 or 2x6 you need to tie the knot in the front brackets. I had to do it before I realized it would be easier. 4. The nylon line is long. If you can get a foot or two, you can pull the bike up and cut the rest off. You can melt the end of the line by using a lighter. 5. I did not need to bend my hooks. Measure the distance between your handlebars and the back of your seat as instructed and you will be fine. I can swing my bikes while they are on the ground. 6. I could see myself replacing the lines after a few years since the line brake works great. 7. My mother in law had no problems raising and lowering the bikes.
👤I got rid of the cheap rope and used 175# paracord. Paracord loops and 300# carabiner-style clips were used to secure bikes. The included screws are cheap, and the mounted hardware was painted 2x4x48" (std 8' stud cut in half). The assembly was attached to the ceiling joists with lag bolts and washers. Pre-drilled holes were used to prevent cracking, binding or stripping. There is a It's safe, strong and not unattractive. It's easy to operate. The 6' podium ladder was an absolute nesessity.
👤Think before you buy. The unit is functional and can be installed by anyone with basic tools and a stud sensor. The fit and finish are good, not exceptional, but more than adequate for the purpose. There is a I waited and got a set from the Amazon Warehouse deals as a damaged box for 1/2 the price, but the price was just OK. The units were perfect. I think it's a great deal at 1/2. If you are really going to save any space, you should consider what you are actually doing. My bikes are 38 inches from the ground to the suggested location on the lift. The hooks are about 12 inches. This is 50 inches down from the ceiling. If you mount the bike as suggested in the instructions, you will be banging your head into the tires every time you walk under it, unless you have a 10 foot high ceiling. I used the 2x4 mount and pulled the bike up as high as possible but the tires were not eye level and were a danger. There is a If you loosen the bolts on the hooks and retighten them, you can put the hooks on the tires/rims and raise the bike the whole way to the ceiling. You can use a bungee cord to keep the wheels parallel during the lift. The 2x4 method will give you an additional 1 1/2 inch clearance, but flush mounting the plates to the ceiling will give you an additional 1 1/2 inch clearance. My tires are now 6 feet off the ground in my 9 foot 9 inch ceiling garage. To get the overhead "obstacle" out of the way, you probably want to mount the unit against a wall. It feels weird to have bike tires over your head when you get out of a car. I'll put a photo in the user photo section if I can figure it out.
The safe locking mechanism prevents accidental release. No one wants to find their bike on the floor when they come home. Bike-lift ceiling mounts can be used for ceilings up to 12 feet high. The pulley system easily hoists bikes up to 50 pounds. No assembly is required for the steel and nylon rope. Includes a pulley system, mounting system and rope. Includes a pulley system, mounting system and rope.
👤The pulley system allows for easy raising and lowering of the bicycles stored on the ceiling. The screws should be thrown into the trash. Do you really want your bicycle to hit your car or head? I tried using a few of them and just screwed into a regular 2x4 before they even got to the metal brackets. The screws are not strong. I didn't know screws could be made from soft metal. Installation was easy, but working on the ceiling is not easy, at least it's not comfortable. A frame ladder drilling and screwing isn't awesome, but a basic DIYer can certainly do it. I couldn't use the included metal brackets to mount the bike because the trusses above the ceiling were oriented in the same way as I wanted them to. I screwed the bike hoist brackets onto the 2x4s that I used to mount the cross braces on the trusses. It was easy to mount them, but it took a lot more time to figure out where to put them. I think these bike hoists are a great value and I highly recommend them. I might have to replace the rope in a couple years if it starts to get weak, it's on the weak side. For this purchase, you're buying two brackets and pulleys for the bike, and the screws they come with shouldn't be used, and the rope is questionable long term.
👤It is easy to install instructions. All you need is a small screen. I used 2.5 feet board. I used 1 inch drywall screws to mount the brackets to the 1x4 before securing to the ceiling. The bike was moving. Before the first assemble, tie a knot in the rope so the rope won't go up too far and the hooks won't fall to the floor. If you tie a knot, you won't have to worry about losing the end, it will be easier to hook the bike. We already have one of these mounts that my husband installed and he did not tie a knot, so the hooks drop loose to the floor sometimes, and once you get the handlebars hooked, it's really annoying. There is a The assemble is on the board. The hooks should hang above the handlebars and the back of the seat. Attach a double knot on one end of the rope and feed into the rear as shown in the photo. The mount is easy to mount to the ceiling if you secure the wood with screws and feed the rope through the hooks. I made it easier to raise and lower by tying more knots in the rope. There is a I don't use this mount for other bikes. Each of our bikes has its own mount.
A life time warranty on top quality. It was made in Taiwan. The product weight is 1.96 kilograms. 4.35 lbs. The rubber coated hooks are designed to protect your bike from scratches. It's easy to install, you just need to mount to your ceiling joist or rafter. You can have your bicycle hanging in your garage with the minimum of tools. There are four rad bike hoists.
👤There are a couple things about this. I like the idea of this, but there are some flaws. The hooks on the hoist system are just bars. It has a curve but not much to make me feel safe about my bike being in the air. There is a This doesn't fit on a 2x4. You have to angle the screws on the 2x4 to get them to tighten. There is a The screws are next. The screws that come with it are cheap. The screws were stripped during the install. There is a It's a good deal if you rig it yourself. Different screws, bending the hooks, and getting a 2x6 instead of a 2x4 to install this.
👤I tried 4 different bikes and each one had the same program. The bikes fall off the hooks. 1. Hooks aren't hooks. They are a bar bend with a piece of rubber on them that are constantly sliding off. I had to bend the hooks in a way that would allow them to hang on to the handlebars. The seat hooks are only usable on a big bike seat that you can find at walmart. I couldn't secure the seat hook to my Santa Cruz Tallboy or Giant Defy Advance even though I did what I could. I have experience that the standard bike shop quality seat has no place for the hooks to grab. 2. The rope is terrible. Gloves are required to prevent rope burn when raising or lowering the bike. 3. It's not easy to store bikes. If you ride daily like me and my wife, it's hard to raise and lower the bikes.
👤I needed to make more space in my workshop. The value is under 40 for four. There is a The product quality is very good and it took no more than 30 minutes to install the rest after the first one was up. There is a The only concern I have is how long the cord will last. It's a coarse weave. The cut ends weren't properly sealed so they were unwrapped. When raising the bicycles, the cord runs through a small hole in the mechanism, which locks down on the cord. The cord will fail through rubbing and pinching eventually, I guess, because of constant use and always raising to the same level. The bicycles will be stored for a long time without much raising and lowering. There is a If you need storage, go for it.
