The U.S.CPSC has a safety standard for bicycle helmets. Soft and durable material. The grip is made of high quality TPR rubber which is soft and durable. TheSTANDARD is a size GRIP that is 4.7"/ 120mm in diameter. 0.87" There are millimetres. The handle bar for the low-rider bike is 20-22mm. Coolrunner mushroom grips are designed with a ridged surface which can absorb shock when you are sweating or in the rain. Don't put the bike grips on the handlebars directly because it's easy to break them. If you have an issue with their bicycle handlebars, please feel free to contact them, they will solve them for you within 24 hours.
👤I've used a lot of these grips on a lot of bikes. I put a metal washer in the base to make it harder for kids to cut the closed end of the bike. Push the washer down to the base with the back end of a toothbrush. I use a toothbrush to get alcohol out of the grip and onto the bar. After the alcohol is put on the bar, you have to cut the grip to get it back off. The O.D. is perfect every time. Use a blade to slice the grip. It's time to swap out old grips.
👤It's perfect for a kid's bike. They are not hard plastic like rubber. They are easy to cut with a box knife. It's perfect for bikes that have a shorter grip on one side. They were easy to cut. There was no tearing. There is a Before I put them on the bike, I dropped a thick washer into each one. It should help keep the ends of the bike from being ripped out when the bike leans on something. If the handlebars are dragged across the sidewalk, it won't help. The washer doesn't make them strong as carbon fiber, they are still rubber. You can put streamers into the end of the grip with the washer hole in the middle. I have the purple ones. There was a deep purple color. Not weak or faded. I couldn't be happier. It's perfect for a kid's bike. I wouldn't recommend them for an adult bike where you are going to spend a lot of time on it. For an adult bike, get something more comfortable. But a bike for kids? These are perfect.
👤I bought these for a 16' bike and they were easy to install and stay on after use. Handle bar grips are good. The handle bar should not be left out in the sun. The melted rubber is making ours discolored and sticky. The high quality rubber and shock absorbing design made this a 3 star. A bit of a stretch from my experience of having these for a while now.
👤We got them yesterday, so I can't speak to their durability. My kids are hard on bikes and scooters, so I just buy new grips every few months. My daughter liked the hot pink color. These fit perfectly on a 20 inch hot rock. My son installed them using an air compressor, and it took a couple seconds per side. Push the air compressor tip into the grip. The air will push the opposite way that you are sliding the grip, but it works, fast and easy.
👤The blue version of the grip was a lighter blue and a close match for our bike. It was not the same blue. If you want to match the color of your bike, it's best to order black or white. We ordered black after returning it.
👤I found a rusted trike. I will just buy a new one since it was free. These were not as big as the toddler tricycle. I couldn't use them so they are working. A tighter fit would only be needed for higher activity. I kept them and am happy with the price.

They have an integrated C-ring that makes it very easy to install and give you the stability and security you want.
👤Are you a fan of orange hands? You're going to have orange hands. I just painted the bike white two days ago, and the picture probably doesn't show it very well. I asked what the orange smudges were on my bike. I looked at my hands. These are great. I'm ready to take the bike out. I decided to clear coat them. I already had it for this project so it's not a big deal to me. The fit is snug, the color is great, and I know they won't slide around easily while I'm riding, so I had to use a rubber mallet to put them on.
👤"Natural cork foam" is not natural cork. It is not more than a synthetic material. The grip on the inner plastic tube is no longer sticks to the left side. The grip is twisted by this. It was not possible to rest my palm on. I will have to return them.
👤Six weeks ago, I bought Asti Natural cork foam bicycle grips to address my hand numbness while mountain biking. I road-biked with them several times before trusting them on the trail. The right grip began to slip during my second hour on the road. I initially thought I had tightened the C-clamps enough, however after further tightening the slippage problem persisted and then worsened. The left grip began to slip after two more hours on the road. This is not acceptable for road biking or mountain biking. I almost asked for a refund. The inner black plastic sleeves of the grips were freely rotating. I was able to remove the plastic sleeves from thecork parts and wiggle them free to make a repair. There are a couple important details missing in Asti's product description. These grips are made of a material that has little bits of cork embedded. This is desirable because cork would break quickly. There is only one C-clamp per grip, which is different from the design of other grip manufacturers. The outer edge of the grips torquing is different from the side that is locked. The feeling of slight rotation of the wider part of the grip provides mild shock absorption, but internal shearing motion results. The main issue with the liner sleeves is that they are not durable, and that shearing may explain why the sleeves came loose so quickly. The solution is: I spent four hours changing my grips. I used acetone and many paper towels to remove the gummy glue from inside thecork, then I let the grips dry. I roughened the black plastic liners to make a surface for the glue. I applied a coat of glue to the cork and black sleeve. It was sticky and messy. I wiped the JB Weld away from the outside with acetone and paper towels after accidentally putting it outside. I strengthened the outer cork surface with a thin layer of superglue after the curing of the JB Weld. The grips became slippery because of the hardened exterior. The cork particles were re-exposed to bring them back to their original state. There is a The final product is the subject of my 3-star Amazon review. I am happy with the grips. The grip design reduces hand numbness. The plastic sleeves are likely to crack under repeated shear stress, even though I have doubts about their durability. Conclusions: Only people who are willing to invest hours of time fussing with bike grips should buy Asti Natural. The plastic sleeve design and single C-clamp per grip will shorten the lifespan. There is a I suspect the same problems as the Asti product will befall the Ergon GP-1 with Biokork. The GP-1 has a single C-clamp on the outer edge, which may help.
The anti-slip grip is provided by the EVA foam material. It is possible to absorb shock and vibration during cycling. Water and UV-radiation resistant. 3M backing is easy to install. There are 2 handlebar end plugs and 2 finishing tapes.
👤This tape isn't supposed to be Cinelli, Deda, or Fi'zi:k. This is a budget tape that is meant to get the job done in a boring way. Would I use this on my bikes? Absolutely not. It's fine for my rain and gravel bikes. Several people have complained that the tape breaks after a short period of use. I've seen people complain that the backing on the tape is hard to remove. People complain that they don't get two separate strips of tape to place behind their levers. So: 1. If you wrap it tight, it will break. There's no way you can break this tape. 2. The backing of 3M is a little bit like a pita to get off, but only so it tends to break off from itself and you need to get it started again. It's not hard to remove the sticky backing underneath the backing, but it doesn't want to come off with the backing, as I saw one person say. 3. It's nice to have two strips of tape for behind levers, but it's not necessary. Simply run a figure eight around the levers and you're good to go. The strips were not mentioned in the listing. I don't know why anyone would expect them. If a kit comes with those strips, it's mentioned. This tape is budget priced and plain. It's a good buy for this price point. If you find the same price for Cinelli tape, you should buy it. This is the cheapest decent take you can get, because Cinelli isn't on sale at the moment. There is a The tape is listed at.10 thick, but only in the middle and it is very thin on the sides. That was definitely not true. Wrap it thick because it's a wide tape and you get 82 inches per strip. Like I did. You'll have good padding. There is a This is a very flexible tape. I wrapped my bars in less than 8 minutes. If you read my review and discover that this tape is on sale for less than this tape, you should type Cinelli in your search to see if it's on sale for the same or less. Buy that if it is. If it's not, buy this and don't go any cheaper because there's a lot of horrible cheaper tapes on this site.
👤This tape has changed my life. I feel like I'm holding onto the butt cheeks of Michaelangelo's David now that I'm riding on 80s leather dryer than your old man's jewel purse. I had to wear a name tag for the first week because friends and family had trouble recognizing me, because my bars were so soft. I used the left over tape to wrap my toothbrush because I couldn't hold it the same.
Only 98g per pair is light weight. Money-back guarantee for 90 days. They offer a 90-Day Money- Back Guarantee to make sure you are happy with your purchase. If you want to stop using the product, they will give you a refund. Soft ribbed grip pattern provides all day comfort and a slip free connection with your bike or scooter. The 150mm width provides plenty of room for any size hand while the design of the bar keeps the grip out of your way. It works with any standard sized bike or scooter. The included rubber end cap prevents the grip and handlebar from being damaged in an accident, and the durable rubber construction maximizes the lifespan of the grip. They have stock in some colors with their old BC packaging, but they recently changed their brand name. The products are exactly the same in both BC and 25Nine packaging.
👤Good grips. The same grips as any mushroom BMX grips I've seen. The Eastern Riblets on my son's Nagas are almost indistinguishable from the ones I've had on other bars. These days end caps are standard. There is a You're insane if you spend more than 38 seconds each installing these. Or high. Ask your dad how he used to do this. The bike should be parked in the sun for a bit.
👤I tried to install these grips on my riser bars with rubbing alcohol and plicol, but it took a full day for it to dry. The grips were not prevented from rotating when gripped tightly because both applications failed to do so. I've never had that problem with foam grips. They're long, full rubber is very comfortable, and look great. Not for serious MTBing.
👤Thick gray grips for the bmx bike. We needed a quick replacement set. These are working well. He said that they are very sturdy and will not wear down over time. They match his pedals.
👤I would give a 5 star for the quality, but these things took two people and a long time to put on, my hands were still hurting from putting on the bike. I suggest using some oil to apply the oil to your handles.
👤These are great. It's hard to get on! It took my son and I three days to get over it. We heard rubbing alcohol could help, but it was too late. They fit perfectly on his scooter.
👤Slid on with some air. They are comfortable and should work. They work great for trail riding around town, even if they are squishy.
👤The grips were nice, had 6 months and were stored outside in the bright Hawaii sun, so they haven't shown any signs of degrading or getting sticky that I read in other reviews. I used aerosol plicol but gasoline works as well. They don't fall off. The ride was comfortable.
👤I got a new pair of bricks, and I love them! These are squishy. If you put oil on the inside of them, they will get on. I might get another color later on, but the color is very nice, even though I don't like it with my bike. I expected it to be a bit heavier. I got a bluedenim.
Don't put the bike grips on the handlebars directly because it's easy to break them. A unique pattern on the grip surface absorbs shock. The mini grid pattern sitting underneath the rider's palms increases traction and grip, giving the rider better grip and handling. It's compatible with both standard and twist shift rear shifters. To convert from standard to twist shifters, simply cut on the indentation on the right-side grip. The Winged shape grip is comfortable and designed to increase contact surface area for hand placement and support the wrist when holding onto the grip. The placement of the hand reduces fatigue after long hours of riding. Simple design is easy to install. Simply slide them on. The grip is designed to fit most flat bar bikes with the outer diameter of 20-23mm. Will fit on standard bikes.
👤I need a set of grips that are shorter on one side than the other for my hub bike and I purchased these specifically. The left grip is great. I can't return these because the right grip is not right and I can't use it. I have cut one down. If you are buying to cut down for a short grip, you should be wary of these. The handlebars did not stay put despite following manufacturer's installation instructions. The set includes small screws to fix the grips more tightly to the bar.
👤I had arthritis in my hands that made it difficult to hold the handle bars over the course of the bike ride. The pain would last for a long time after riding the bike. The grips have made it possible to continue riding. I am able to ride a few times a day. I recommend this product to anyone with arthritis who needs a wider bike grip to help cushion their hands from the pain and numbness that can occur during a ride.
👤They were easy to drink. Keeping your wrist straight is helped by the position of the protrusion. I didn't think it would make a difference. The shape and position help my wife a lot. I cut the line to shorten the grip on my e-bike handlebars so I could put the throttle on them. I cut the uncut side on the line. The rubber is fairly soft. End caps are fine.
👤Awesome grips for $8.99. It's a no-brainer. Don't let the price fool you. These grips are of the highest quality. I use grips that are comfortable. It's great to have a good feeling for my hands. I needed a long grip and short grip for the shift. A butcher knife is easy to use. The underside of the grip is where your fingers wrap around it. It adds another comfort feature. These grips are very good.
👤The grips didn't have end caps like the description said. I asked if this had end caps or not as I wanted to mount an end cap mirror with these grips. I was told that the description was wrong and that it had sealed ends. I decided that I would just cut a hole for the mirror and get them. They arrived quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they came with end caps. There is a The handlebars were too small and the caps were too large when I installed them. I clipped off some of the excess plastic on the inner spirals that go into the bars and was able to get them to fit perfectly. I've added pictures to show the result. There is a I am very happy with the grips. They are soft yet sturdy, have good grip, and seem to offer good support for the wrists. When I have a chance to put them through their paces, I will update.
It's ideal for single bikes. High density foam construction is comfortable. The shape is comfortable. The length is 130mm and the short is 90mm.
👤They get 5 stars for having brown grips that look like the picture, but they are a little pricey. It's comfortable too. There is a There is one short grip for the twist shifter. There are 2 regular length grips on that listing. I wish they would offer two short grips for those with two grip shifters, but that is a Radical Concept that hasn't made it to the top yet. The grips have been in use for 11 months and have held up well, other than the stitching getting a little dirty, they still look brand new! I paid $18.92 for mine, but the price has come down. I would buy them again.
👤I set up a bike for a friend. I wanted the grips to be comfortable, but also cool. One side grip shift. They look great, but the foam underneath is thick and soft.
👤Do you want to add a sex appeal to your bike? Buy these grips and it will be on! The short grip is perfect for my grip shifter. These grips are second to none. Likie definitely is the name of Mikie.
👤It was a nice and subtle upgrade. It was a nice fit. They would never go on if they were rubbed on. It is a good substitute for alcohol.
👤The grips on the bike are not as thick. It's easier on the wrist. You don't feel like you're vibrating. They are harder to hold on to. They are very smooth. You might want to wear gloves. New grips were slid on the handle bar. They haven't moved.
👤These look good on my beach cruiser. My stock ones are a lot more comfortable. They are very soft. I ordered the ones for bikes with handle bar shifters.
👤These are very comfortable and well made.
👤My Schwinn 3 speed is perfect. There is a The grip is soft and comfortable.
Their bike seat comes with instructions and tools. The ideal gift for a cyclist who wants to upgrade their bike. Only the grips sold by "Fito Bicycles" are made in Taiwan. China's factory is where most of the grips are made. The quality of the vinyl leather and stitch is not comparable. Synthetic leather. The size is 127 MM. For bikes with no shifters. If you want a multi-speed cruiser bike with one shifter, please search B00YQZCNS. There are two grips per set. The color may look different than what you see in photos. It's on any 7/8" handle bar.
👤Rub alcohol inside the grip to get them installed. Don't try to install without that tip, you will die. The grips are easy to install with alcohol. They look great. They feel good. I put them on my bike.
👤The material feels great. The stitching is strong and it feels strong. I have an old English bike that is hard and narrow. These were put over the hardened and narrow original grips. Took some effort and alcohol helped. The original grip was stuck on one side and loose on the other side. I put the two end caps on and finally got both on. The grips made my hands easier to hold on and more comfortable. I don't need gloves anymore. They feel good. The grips and cords that finish the pieces are still in good shape after a thousand miles.
👤These are beautiful. They look like the picture. They are perfect for my son's beach cruiser. She is young. I took her bike out for the summer and cleaned it up and added some things to it. I think I'll order another set for my bike.
👤The gears on the handle don't fit the one side of my cruiser, so these wouldn't fit it. I can tell it's off by about an inch, but the color is great and they're easy to put on. You should check your cruiser for the right size.
👤It takes a bit of work to install these. It is very difficult to get them to flush with the handle bar when they slide on to a point. The product is comfortable. The handle bar grips that came with the bike were better. They seem to be built to last, but I would buy again in the future.
👤The grips are gorgeous. The bars will be extended by a half inch. The insert on the inside doesn't go all the way to the end. If you have a specific length of bar, you are hoping that these add a half inch to each bar.
👤The stitches add a touch of class to the material. The foam is comfortable. It's easy to install. I used alcohol to make them dry quickly.
👤These things are so amazing, but they're not possible unless you have oil. It is possible to make it easier with some form of lubricant. I like the look of them and they add to the look of my brown Huffy Panama Jack bike that I just got. Excellent value, quality, and upgrade for the price.
👤Beau, facile, mettre et comfortable!
Synthetic leather is soft and shock absorbent. It's not easy to slip on handmade sewing. The handlebar end diameter is 22.2mm. It's possible to save energy and increase the speed with this shape of your hand. What you get. X A pair of grips. Bar plugs.
👤I'm very happy with the grips. When I first received them, I was not sure if they would fit on my daughter's beach cruiser, but they were a perfect fit and easy to mount. If you add a bit of soapy water to the grips or handlebars of your bike, you'll be fine. There is a I don't know how long they will last, but they seem like a good deal at $7.99. They're soft and comfortable to touch and have a retro look.
👤I bought a tan bike seat and these look great on my white bike. It has been nice to hold onto and not get sticky like some do in the sun. They were hard to get on, I almost tore one of them before I read that, so definitely recommend doing that.
👤These grips are soft, lovely, and match my beach cruiser's tan seat perfectly, so my arms got a workout they didn't need to. I had to wrestle them onto the handlebars. There is a When I write my review, I see people recommend soapy water. They are very good for the price.
👤You can't beat the price, you look great, and it's super comfy. Before installing, pour or spray alcohol inside the grips. They will go on and you won't tear them up. I can't speak to the longevity, but I'll probably grab a backup set whenever these ones give out.
👤They arrived late. It has to be a very squishy feel. I was expecting a bit of firmness. The material started to rip when they were put on and the end cap didn't stay on. They look nice, but not what I expected. The cheap price makes it possible for you to get what you pay for.
👤The grips are comfortable. It's definitely a good idea to use some WD-40 to get them to slide on it. One of the plastic end caps feels like it will fall out. I will add a drop of super glue or electrical tape to make sure it stays inside the grip.
👤It worked well for my daughter's beach cruiser. That looks nice.
👤The quality is low. Will not last long. Thin insulation with loose skin. They should be replaced with a different brand.
👤These grips are great. I was worried that they would be terrible, but I took a chance and now I love them. They are soft and sturdy for my bike. I was worried they wouldn't fit, but with a small amount of grease on the inside, they slid on. They look great on my bike. If you leave your bike locked up outdoors, they might not be good for that. I can't say for certain. I think they're on track. I will recommend these to anyone who wants to replace their grips.
Don't put the bike grips on the handlebars directly because it's easy to break them. cult x vans, grips, 143mm, beige The grip was designed and sent to the production facility. They created a grip that they hope will become as much of a Classic as a pair of vans.
👤My Razor scooter is being taught. I get a lot of cat calls from the ladies.
👤The product photo shows two grips and refers to them in the form of grips. There is a I was not sent everything I should have received. I would love to review these grips higher since they look and feel great, but I can't recommend anything that doesn't include everything that is advertised.
👤The grips are great for BMX. I like to use the lock-on grips from ODI on my trials. The lock-on doesn't work for BMX because they're too short and the metal is uncomfortable, so I decided to try these. I've been using it for a week. I really like them, but I wish they were a bit longer. They look great. It's nice and durable as well. The method is easy to use. They stayed in place for 5 minutes. Would definitely recommend.
👤The foam grips on my scooter are old. Installation was easy and the length and size were perfect. I used a skewer to open a bit of space, sprayed some vodka in, and twisted the old grip around to pull it off. After shoving the new grips on, I waited for it to dry. The install took about 10 minutes. The rubber feels a bit sticky to the hand, I guess that's the "cult" part of the equation. The waffle pattern from the Van's part isn't very comfortable. They were cheaper than the foam. I might keep looking.
👤I love my new grips. The waffle pattern is unique and the "Vans " & "Cult" Embossing is subtle yet classy. The gum color on my bike completely changed the look. It was easy to install through the zip tie method. To make it easier to install, I pinched the areas I was going to insert a zip tie to create a tunnel which would make it easy to slide them in. I used a lot of zip ties. Hammered the ends on after aligning the grips.
👤These are not for everyone. They are very soft. I was expecting something more like the Vans shoe's sole. I took them off my single speed after one ride. I can see how this kind of rubber compound would cause them to wear out quickly. They are a novelty at best.
👤Quality grips, but plan on headaches getting them on. We initially used rubbing alcohol to help slide them on, but the grips slipped and we had to get the end caps off to try again. The end caps should be taken off until you're sure the grips are on. We'll try hair spray next after using denatured alcohol to install the grips. There is a The grip feels good. After moderate use, there is significant wear that should be expected to be replaced in a short period of time.
Only the grips sold by "Meta Corp." are made in Taiwan. China is where most of the similar or same Velo saddles are made. Their quality is not comparable. There are authentic rubber grips for Fuji bikes. There is a separator for CRUISER BIKES, MOUNTAIN BIKES, COMFORT BIKES, FIXED GEAR BIKES, and BMX BIKES. The length is 130 MM (5 1/8").
👤These fit my beach cruiser perfectly. I bought these as a replacement for my bike that was stolen and found without the grips. If you spray the inside of the grips, they will slide onto the handle bars.
👤The texture and color of these are appealing to me. They are neat and cheap. I took a star off because they were hard to install. It took a lot of strength and sweat to get these on my handlebars. There were no instructions on how to put them on. I'd be afraid they'd slip off if a lil oil had helped. These babies are not coming off.
👤The product was on her bike. I knew she used these and they fit because I could see that the bike I have is the exact one she used. She took the time to write and give a picture. The grips were tacky and I had to replace them. I didn't want to spend a lot so these worked well for me.
👤The handlebar grips don't leave a smell on my hands. If you spray a little windex or water on the handlebars, they slip on easily. 30 minutes later, they will be stuck.
👤I bought these to match my seat. They don't move when you get them on. I think they are comfortable enough to stay.
👤I recently purchased a new bike and wanted to upgrade it by painting it, filling the tires with air, and putting on new handles since the others were in rough shape and went from a white color to black. My bike has a cream white tone and these brown handles are perfect for it. They were easy to put on, and much quicker than removing the handles. They look like the picture shows.
👤It was difficult to install because of the grease on the bar. It was a good fit.
👤I use them to hold my cane. Bike grips are also used for my walking stick. If you throw your cane away, it's a much better alternative.
What you get. X A pair of grips. Bar plugs. There are high quality leather grips. The size is 127 MM. For bikes with no shifters. It's on any 7/8" handle bar. Only the grips sold by "Meta Corp." are made in Taiwan. China is where most of the similar or same Velo saddles are made. Their quality is not comparable.
👤The grips look nice. They are a good choice for the price. Some edges/seams are white, but not terribly. It's not certain if that will be an indication of resilience. I like them. Installation was not easy. I own a Firmstrong Urban Lady cruiser. I bought the right size grips. They are a tight fit. It took me and my son a long time to install them. They will stay in place and not spin.
👤This is a 4 star review. I bought these for my beach cruiser. The "stitched" seam adds a retro look to them. They are comfortable to grip. If you put a little hair spray or furniture polish on the handlebars, they slip on easily. It was nice for the price.
👤The old cruiser had sun faded red foam handle bars. It is ugly as sin. These replacements are as good as they look. Before putting on these grips, you should spray handle bars with spray paint. It helps them slide right on, then dries to help hold them in place.
👤These grips are very good. They're comfortable, durable, and cool looking. Rubing alcohol is a good choice for installation. You can spin to your desired position if you slip right on. After it dries, they don't budge. I saw people suggest crazy things, but you can't go wrong with rubbing alcohol.
👤It's easy to install. It will take a lot more effort to slide onto the handle if you don't quickly get grips into position. The price was worth it.
👤The factory foam grips on my beach cruiser were replaced with these new grips. The grips were very difficult to install, but I didn't message the width of my handlebars. I would slide them on. I didn't use any oil to keep the grips from being ruined. I'm happy that I didn't because I know that these grips are not going to fall off easily. Great purchase.
👤I have nothing but good things to say after having these installed. The stitching on them is very high quality. The feel of them is very good, they are comfortable and padded.
👤These grips are very good. They are easy to hold for long periods of time. The vinyl is easy to install and soft. Installation method: I used a small allen wrench between the handle bars and grip to separate them, then used a needle to put rubbing alcohol in the gap. I used rubbing alcohol to slip the new grip on after removing the old one. Hope this is helpful.
