👤Are you a fan of orange hands? You're going to have orange hands. I just painted the bike white two days ago, and the picture probably doesn't show it very well. I asked what the orange smudges were on my bike. I looked at my hands. These are great. I'm ready to take the bike out. I decided to clear coat them. I already had it for this project so it's not a big deal to me. The fit is snug, the color is great, and I know they won't slide around easily while I'm riding, so I had to use a rubber mallet to put them on.

👤"Natural cork foam" is not natural cork. It is not more than a synthetic material. The grip on the inner plastic tube is no longer sticks to the left side. The grip is twisted by this. It was not possible to rest my palm on. I will have to return them.

👤Six weeks ago, I bought Asti Natural cork foam bicycle grips to address my hand numbness while mountain biking. I road-biked with them several times before trusting them on the trail. The right grip began to slip during my second hour on the road. I initially thought I had tightened the C-clamps enough, however after further tightening the slippage problem persisted and then worsened. The left grip began to slip after two more hours on the road. This is not acceptable for road biking or mountain biking. I almost asked for a refund. The inner black plastic sleeves of the grips were freely rotating. I was able to remove the plastic sleeves from thecork parts and wiggle them free to make a repair. There are a couple important details missing in Asti's product description. These grips are made of a material that has little bits of cork embedded. This is desirable because cork would break quickly. There is only one C-clamp per grip, which is different from the design of other grip manufacturers. The outer edge of the grips torquing is different from the side that is locked. The feeling of slight rotation of the wider part of the grip provides mild shock absorption, but internal shearing motion results. The main issue with the liner sleeves is that they are not durable, and that shearing may explain why the sleeves came loose so quickly. The solution is: I spent four hours changing my grips. I used acetone and many paper towels to remove the gummy glue from inside thecork, then I let the grips dry. I roughened the black plastic liners to make a surface for the glue. I applied a coat of glue to the cork and black sleeve. It was sticky and messy. I wiped the JB Weld away from the outside with acetone and paper towels after accidentally putting it outside. I strengthened the outer cork surface with a thin layer of superglue after the curing of the JB Weld. The grips became slippery because of the hardened exterior. The cork particles were re-exposed to bring them back to their original state. There is a The final product is the subject of my 3-star Amazon review. I am happy with the grips. The grip design reduces hand numbness. The plastic sleeves are likely to crack under repeated shear stress, even though I have doubts about their durability. Conclusions: Only people who are willing to invest hours of time fussing with bike grips should buy Asti Natural. The plastic sleeve design and single C-clamp per grip will shorten the lifespan. There is a I suspect the same problems as the Asti product will befall the Ergon GP-1 with Biokork. The GP-1 has a single C-clamp on the outer edge, which may help.

Brand: 25nine

👤Good grips. The same grips as any mushroom BMX grips I've seen. The Eastern Riblets on my son's Nagas are almost indistinguishable from the ones I've had on other bars. These days end caps are standard. There is a You're insane if you spend more than 38 seconds each installing these. Or high. Ask your dad how he used to do this. The bike should be parked in the sun for a bit.

👤I tried to install these grips on my riser bars with rubbing alcohol and plicol, but it took a full day for it to dry. The grips were not prevented from rotating when gripped tightly because both applications failed to do so. I've never had that problem with foam grips. They're long, full rubber is very comfortable, and look great. Not for serious MTBing.

👤Thick gray grips for the bmx bike. We needed a quick replacement set. These are working well. He said that they are very sturdy and will not wear down over time. They match his pedals.

👤I would give a 5 star for the quality, but these things took two people and a long time to put on, my hands were still hurting from putting on the bike. I suggest using some oil to apply the oil to your handles.

👤These are great. It's hard to get on! It took my son and I three days to get over it. We heard rubbing alcohol could help, but it was too late. They fit perfectly on his scooter.

👤Slid on with some air. They are comfortable and should work. They work great for trail riding around town, even if they are squishy.

👤The grips were nice, had 6 months and were stored outside in the bright Hawaii sun, so they haven't shown any signs of degrading or getting sticky that I read in other reviews. I used aerosol plicol but gasoline works as well. They don't fall off. The ride was comfortable.

👤I got a new pair of bricks, and I love them! These are squishy. If you put oil on the inside of them, they will get on. I might get another color later on, but the color is very nice, even though I don't like it with my bike. I expected it to be a bit heavier. I got a bluedenim.

Brand: Coolrunner

👤I've used a lot of these grips on a lot of bikes. I put a metal washer in the base to make it harder for kids to cut the closed end of the bike. Push the washer down to the base with the back end of a toothbrush. I use a toothbrush to get alcohol out of the grip and onto the bar. After the alcohol is put on the bar, you have to cut the grip to get it back off. The O.D. is perfect every time. Use a blade to slice the grip. It's time to swap out old grips.

👤It's perfect for a kid's bike. They are not hard plastic like rubber. They are easy to cut with a box knife. It's perfect for bikes that have a shorter grip on one side. They were easy to cut. There was no tearing. There is a Before I put them on the bike, I dropped a thick washer into each one. It should help keep the ends of the bike from being ripped out when the bike leans on something. If the handlebars are dragged across the sidewalk, it won't help. The washer doesn't make them strong as carbon fiber, they are still rubber. You can put streamers into the end of the grip with the washer hole in the middle. I have the purple ones. There was a deep purple color. Not weak or faded. I couldn't be happier. It's perfect for a kid's bike. I wouldn't recommend them for an adult bike where you are going to spend a lot of time on it. For an adult bike, get something more comfortable. But a bike for kids? These are perfect.

👤I bought these for a 16' bike and they were easy to install and stay on after use. Handle bar grips are good. The handle bar should not be left out in the sun. The melted rubber is making ours discolored and sticky. The high quality rubber and shock absorbing design made this a 3 star. A bit of a stretch from my experience of having these for a while now.

👤We got them yesterday, so I can't speak to their durability. My kids are hard on bikes and scooters, so I just buy new grips every few months. My daughter liked the hot pink color. These fit perfectly on a 20 inch hot rock. My son installed them using an air compressor, and it took a couple seconds per side. Push the air compressor tip into the grip. The air will push the opposite way that you are sliding the grip, but it works, fast and easy.

👤The blue version of the grip was a lighter blue and a close match for our bike. It was not the same blue. If you want to match the color of your bike, it's best to order black or white. We ordered black after returning it.

👤I found a rusted trike. I will just buy a new one since it was free. These were not as big as the toddler tricycle. I couldn't use them so they are working. A tighter fit would only be needed for higher activity. I kept them and am happy with the price.

5. FIFTY FIFTY Lock Mountain Grips Brown

FIFTY FIFTY Lock Mountain Grips Brown

Only 98g per pair is light weight.

Brand: Fifty/fifty

👤These are great. If the grips feel sticky, it's not in a bad way. I think they're better than my RaceFace ones. It locks on both ends. There is a I need to test it out on more rides to get a better feel for it. I'll return after a few more rides to see if my initial review is still true. There is a There was an update. I have a better grip on these grips after several rides. These are so grippy! They are very comfortable on technical downs with lots of rock gardens. These are the winners.

👤I bought these because they match the color of my bike and had good reviews. I regret buying them. The alan screw heads are easy to install. The grip was very secure after I tightened the screw closest to the gear shift. I tightened the other end. It was a little better after that. I can turn the grips a bit. They have a good feel for trail riding. These are horrible. I've gone on two bike trips with them on the bike without gloves. I have to rest my thumbs on top of the grips to relieve the pressure on my thumbs as they go numb in just a few minutes of riding. Doing this makes riding more dangerous. I'll be putting my other grips back on. These grips are not recommended by me.

👤I'm a hardcore mountain biker. I needed a new set of grips. The local bike shops didn't have any grips that excited me, so I decided to buy these from the great reviews on Amazon. These grips are not very good compared to other grips. The material used on the grips is not as nice as the material used on the well known grips. It is not tacky or thin. The material has no absorbing properties. There is a The end caps are poorly designed. I can see them failing after a slam or if the handlebars hit a tree. For the price, PNW's grips are better. I wouldn't let these go to my head. If you need basic grips, buy the $10 ones on Amazon and they will be just as nice. There is a If you spend a lot of time mountain biking, you should buy quality grips from an established grip maker.

👤The grip is easy to install and comfortable for bare hands. The black end caps pop off easily. I used the ones that came on my bike's stock bars, as they are kind of like a cork that pop into the bar ends and don't come out easily. I think these were worth the price. They look great!

6. Fito Rubber Handlebar Grips Mountain

Fito Rubber Handlebar Grips Mountain

Only the grips sold by "Meta Corp." are made in Taiwan. China is where most of the similar or same Velo saddles are made. Their quality is not comparable. There are authentic rubber grips for Fuji bikes. There is a separator for CRUISER BIKES, MOUNTAIN BIKES, COMFORT BIKES, FIXED GEAR BIKES, and BMX BIKES. The length is 130 MM (5 1/8").

Brand: Fito

👤These fit my beach cruiser perfectly. I bought these as a replacement for my bike that was stolen and found without the grips. If you spray the inside of the grips, they will slide onto the handle bars.

👤The texture and color of these are appealing to me. They are neat and cheap. I took a star off because they were hard to install. It took a lot of strength and sweat to get these on my handlebars. There were no instructions on how to put them on. I'd be afraid they'd slip off if a lil oil had helped. These babies are not coming off.

👤The product was on her bike. I knew she used these and they fit because I could see that the bike I have is the exact one she used. She took the time to write and give a picture. The grips were tacky and I had to replace them. I didn't want to spend a lot so these worked well for me.

👤The handlebar grips don't leave a smell on my hands. If you spray a little windex or water on the handlebars, they slip on easily. 30 minutes later, they will be stuck.

👤I bought these to match my seat. They don't move when you get them on. I think they are comfortable enough to stay.

👤I recently purchased a new bike and wanted to upgrade it by painting it, filling the tires with air, and putting on new handles since the others were in rough shape and went from a white color to black. My bike has a cream white tone and these brown handles are perfect for it. They were easy to put on, and much quicker than removing the handles. They look like the picture shows.

👤It was difficult to install because of the grease on the bar. It was a good fit.

👤I use them to hold my cane. Bike grips are also used for my walking stick. If you throw your cane away, it's a much better alternative.

Brand: 25nine

👤My daughters Cannondale Trail 20 had great grips. The bar-ends are a great addition to the bike. The price is right. It is a complete package deal. The ends with the grips are included because most children just lay their bikes down on the side and this will save the handlebars from cracking. I plan on buying a pair for my bike. Highly recommended!

👤These are too long. To be precise, it's 6. Attaching a picture against a large hand. I would have to cut it in half for my daughter. You lose the finished end if you cut it. Just dumb.

👤I rated 5 stars because I think it was my fault, but the grips are not comfortable. I bought them for my child. They fit the handlebars well. I wear gloves with a grip that sticks out past my hands and my thumb knuckle touches the inner flange of the brake handles. The outer 1/2 is not supported by steel. There is a Be aware and order wisely. My kid is happy and happy.

👤They fit my handlebars. They slid right on after being lubed up. They're tight if you let them sit a few days to dry. The OD green is very close to my frame. It was very comfortable as well. The end plugs were easy to pop in. They are a nice snug fit, and I tapped them in with a soft hammer. They've been on the bike for a while. I ride a few times a week and it's been good.

👤These grips are very good. They feel soft but not too soft. I deducted a star because they are not as dark as the photo shows. I was having trouble finding a dark blue grip. These work are done. They are not as dark as most navys are. I will probably buy this brand of grip in the future.

👤My son has a BMX. He wanted to modify the grips. These didn't last long and started falling apart. They are easy to put on and cute, but I don't think they should last very long.

👤My son's grips on his bmx bike were replaced with these. They were not much longer than the original. The brake lever was slid over. Can't speak for the other colors, but the green picture is dead on. He's happy with them. Once these are chewed up, I will order more.

Brand: Marque

👤I need a set of grips that are shorter on one side than the other for my hub bike and I purchased these specifically. The left grip is great. I can't return these because the right grip is not right and I can't use it. I have cut one down. If you are buying to cut down for a short grip, you should be wary of these. The handlebars did not stay put despite following manufacturer's installation instructions. The set includes small screws to fix the grips more tightly to the bar.

👤I had arthritis in my hands that made it difficult to hold the handle bars over the course of the bike ride. The pain would last for a long time after riding the bike. The grips have made it possible to continue riding. I am able to ride a few times a day. I recommend this product to anyone with arthritis who needs a wider bike grip to help cushion their hands from the pain and numbness that can occur during a ride.

👤They were easy to drink. Keeping your wrist straight is helped by the position of the protrusion. I didn't think it would make a difference. The shape and position help my wife a lot. I cut the line to shorten the grip on my e-bike handlebars so I could put the throttle on them. I cut the uncut side on the line. The rubber is fairly soft. End caps are fine.

👤Awesome grips for $8.99. It's a no-brainer. Don't let the price fool you. These grips are of the highest quality. I use grips that are comfortable. It's great to have a good feeling for my hands. I needed a long grip and short grip for the shift. A butcher knife is easy to use. The underside of the grip is where your fingers wrap around it. It adds another comfort feature. These grips are very good.

👤The grips didn't have end caps like the description said. I asked if this had end caps or not as I wanted to mount an end cap mirror with these grips. I was told that the description was wrong and that it had sealed ends. I decided that I would just cut a hole for the mirror and get them. They arrived quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they came with end caps. There is a The handlebars were too small and the caps were too large when I installed them. I clipped off some of the excess plastic on the inner spirals that go into the bars and was able to get them to fit perfectly. I've added pictures to show the result. There is a I am very happy with the grips. They are soft yet sturdy, have good grip, and seem to offer good support for the wrists. When I have a chance to put them through their paces, I will update.

Attaching a video showing how to swap out the handlebars. Use the bike hose. It will take a long time to get them on. Hope this helps you! This product is recommended. The bike shop sold me my original pair, and I was happy to see the same ones here on AMZ.

👤I have them on all my bikes. The price is very nice. It's a good idea to use electric tape on your metal handle bar. There is a They will stay in place for a long time.

👤I bought this item for my wife's bike because of the great reviews. It didn't live up to its ratings. The grips are sliding out. My wife is only 5 feet 2 inches tall and Petite so she is not strong. She has a regular Trek mountain bike, it's not weird in size that would have caused the grips to not hold in place. We have only used her mountain bike on paved roads, so there is no mountain terrain that would have required holding on to dear life. There is a The caps fall off easily. Ours fell off when we bumped into something. I knew that the chance of losing these end caps was very high when I put it back on. When you buy a new product, you want to have a good feeling. I am fed up with having to push the grips back in position after a few rides. I'm looking for replacement grips that will lock in place, what I should have done in the first place. I thought I'd warn others before I start shopping again.

👤I have had these for 3 years to replace the grips that broke. I was worried that I would lose the endcaps when I installed these. I was correct. I use my bicycle to commute. The endcaps came loose. They came off after I glue them back together. The handle bars made it difficult for me to hold them. I had to keep turning them back. They weren't very stable on some of my rides. I wouldn't recommend these grips unless they were locked.

👤These were bought to replace the old ones. I recently bought a Trek 3700 MTB and used Bontrager grips. I didn't want to spend a lot since I'm new to the sport, but I wanted something nice as well. The feel of them is very comfortable and the grip is good for handling. They didn't leave any black marks on my hands like they did with my old ones. Highly recommended. The price paid for the quality was more than I expected. Happy riding!

👤Over the last 2 years, I have purchased several sets of grips. The best ones had smallhorns, which injured the bone in my pinky and made it difficult to use it. I decided to try these. The fit for the palm is good and the cork is comfortable. I rest my thumbs on the outer part of the grip when I experience fatigue. Less weight being on the bar and less fatigue in the hands were the results. A man is riding a bike for 90 - 120 minutes.

👤I replaced my stock grips on my budget mountain bike with these because I was researching about how to reduce the effects of tingling and numbness in my fingers halfway through my rides. The bikes stock grips are not as good as these. I have larger hands that give me more surface to grip and they spread the pressure out over my whole palm instead of focusing it all in the middle. The numbness and tingling is almost completely gone after three rides and 2 adjustments. Their shape gives me a lot of hand positioning options.

👤My husband and I both have a set of these grips. The cork has a nice natural grip. The shape of the grips gives you a flatter and more generous shelf for your hands. They look good and are German quality. It's easy to install.

👤I'm a three-season biker. I like to fiddle with my bikes from inside a warm house in February. I age over 50 now. I've had wrist troubles, especially after long rides. My ride routes are usually 12 or 24 miles, but they have become less pleasant. I haven't yet ridden with the new grips, but they feel great on my bike. I already bought another pair for my mountain bike. Can't wait to see how they do when winter ends.

👤These are great! Make sure to read about the different sizes and styles. Depending on the type of shifters you have, you can get 2 full grips, 1 half grips, or 2 half grips. I went with 2 full grips because I mob a 29"er single speed. Couldn't be happier. They are supportive and comfortable. No more feeling numb. The RubberSpongyCorkaDoodleDo Stuff is awesome. It feels good in the palm. You just need to use Windex to slide them on and align them. Do not tighten. It's made of aluminum so slowly that you won't have a problem. They have taken the abuse well.

11. RavX Twist Single Handle Brown

RavX Twist Single Handle Brown

It's ideal for single bikes. High density foam construction is comfortable. The shape is comfortable. The length is 130mm and the short is 90mm.

Brand: Ravx

👤They get 5 stars for having brown grips that look like the picture, but they are a little pricey. It's comfortable too. There is a There is one short grip for the twist shifter. There are 2 regular length grips on that listing. I wish they would offer two short grips for those with two grip shifters, but that is a Radical Concept that hasn't made it to the top yet. The grips have been in use for 11 months and have held up well, other than the stitching getting a little dirty, they still look brand new! I paid $18.92 for mine, but the price has come down. I would buy them again.

👤I set up a bike for a friend. I wanted the grips to be comfortable, but also cool. One side grip shift. They look great, but the foam underneath is thick and soft.

👤Do you want to add a sex appeal to your bike? Buy these grips and it will be on! The short grip is perfect for my grip shifter. These grips are second to none. Likie definitely is the name of Mikie.

👤It was a nice and subtle upgrade. It was a nice fit. They would never go on if they were rubbed on. It is a good substitute for alcohol.

👤The grips on the bike are not as thick. It's easier on the wrist. You don't feel like you're vibrating. They are harder to hold on to. They are very smooth. You might want to wear gloves. New grips were slid on the handle bar. They haven't moved.

👤These look good on my beach cruiser. My stock ones are a lot more comfortable. They are very soft. I ordered the ones for bikes with handle bar shifters.

👤These are very comfortable and well made.

👤My Schwinn 3 speed is perfect. There is a The grip is soft and comfortable.
