👤I've been looking for a long time for a ride on the nature trail that is close to my house. I'm 55 years old and I'm fat. I have a balance disorder that makes it impossible for me to use a two-wheeled velocipede. I've returned several vehicles that were too hard to pedal or otherwise make them move because they looked like fun and great exercise, but were too hard to pedal or otherwise make them move. I was discouraged. Other trikes caught my eye, but they were too expensive. I received the Mobo Triton Pro in February and it sat in my foyer for a while. We had some relief from it this past week. My son did a good job assembling my trike. Yesterday was yesterday. It went back to the foyer to wait out the rain. P. The sun peeked out between the clouds and the temperature was perfect. I took the trike out to my driveway. I'm so happy and excited. The trike rides well, the seat is comfortable, I can pedal, and it manages the slight slope of my driveway very well. The brakes work well and the steering became intuitive. The turn radius is wide, which might bother some, but I should be fine on the trail. The trike doesn't pedal in reverse, but I learned a 3-point turn which allowed me to turn around at the base of the driveway and pedal back up to the street. I put my feet on the ground and pushed myself backwards. No problemo! I made ten laps that way to get used to pedaling and steering, and I can't wait to take it out on the trail! It's going to be a lot of fun and I'll be in shape this summer. After just a short time on the bike, I was panting and my shoulders and thighs were a bit achy. Steering and breaking are going to get my arms working and I was worried that I wouldn't get much of a workout in my upper body. I can't get enough of the Mobo Triton Pro. This old lady is going to be in shape and active for the rest of her life. I highly recommend this vehicle for anyone, but especially for those of us getting older and wanting to stay active and have fun!
👤I bought this trike for my daughters to ride. It is limited in function because it only has one speed. It is not fast because top speed is the same as a brisk jog. It feels fast even if I'm not keeping up with my daughter. It seems like the perfect pace for walking a dog. It is fine to climb. I keep the tires pumped up to 40psi and haven't had any issues with traction that other reviews have mentioned. The cushions are comfortable. They are similar to what you find in a gym. There is no strain on the back or hands when you are in a seated position. The frame is sturdy. The instructions were clear and took me about an hour to put together. I'm happy with my purchase and it serves its purpose well.
Lumos strives to provide you with a smooth shopping experience and professional customer support. The frame and fork are made of high quality steel. The 21-speed stem shifters are made by Shimano. The double wall has 36 hole rim and 25mm width tires. The brakes are single pivot.
👤I have put about 100 miles on the bike I bought 60 days ago. The bars in the back hub are no longer rideable to the point of the back wheel. I tried to tighten the wheel. Kent will not place typical wear and tear items if you call Amazon and they only have a 30 day warranty. The bike has deteriorated quickly and I would not want to ride it again.
👤The front wheel was easy to install, but it wouldn't sit straight no matter how many times I tried. If it is wobbling, the instructions tell you to try again. One of the spokes on the front wheel was bent. The front of the bike frame was discolored and almost felt sticky, but this is not a real problem. I had to zoom in on the picture to understand the installation because the instructions don't explain where the shifters are to be installed. I'm not happy with this bike. I did not ride it because of the front wheel not aligning and the bent spoke, but it got a one star from me.
👤My first ride on this bike was on Sept 2nd of last year, and at the time of writing this review, I had traveled 106 miles on this bike. I am around 5'9" and I like the fit of this bike. I was able to put the bike together quickly, but I had to take it to a local shop to make sure it was assembled correctly. The front wheel was wobbly and needed to be truing. If you have experience, this can be taken care of by yourself. If you're not experienced, I would recommend taking the bike to a shop. The bike shifts smoothly after some adjustment at the shop. The brakes that come with it aren't the best. I didn't have to air up the tires in two months. I am happy with my purchase so far, and I think this bike has been worth the money. If you are looking for a cheap, fun road bike to commute with or just want to hit the road on the weekend, this is the bike for you. I will try to update this review in the future once I get more mileage on the bike.
👤The bike is good for money. I didn't know what to expect when I saw the box, it was a bit beat up. I was a bit worried. I was able to say that the bike looks great and no parts were damaged in transit, even though I opened it up. After a few rides, I'm very satisfied with this purchase, but I haven't had a chance to review the longevity or long term durability. The bike lacks a mount point for a water bottle and I had to adjust the front brake calipers to prevent them from touching the wheel when not being used. The handle bars are a bit low, which means I'm hunched over when riding, but it does provide me with a good arm workout. I saw a lot of questions about this on the product Q&A page, even though the bike says it's a medium size. I'm 6'1" and this bike is a perfect size for me, however I'd say it might be difficult to ride for those under 5'9"-10", so that's something to keep in mind before ordering. The starter bike is solid to get me into cycling. It was 4/5!
A full length zip keeps your neck warm and prevents the wind blow in, and you can use a three-dimensional self-cultivation to bring more smooth. Bicycle thermal pants, made from high quality durable polyester, have strength and durability more than natural rubber, multi level high density foam, and precise gel pad, and are ideal for long rides. It is easy to put on and take off the pants with the night reflective zippers on the leg openning. Their cycling jersey and pants use polar fleece, which keeps you warm and comfortable when cycling in winter or fall, and it also promotes excellent breathability and very soft to skin, which makes it an unprecedented wearing experience while biking. The long sleeve bike clothing can be worn more often. The thermal bike jersey and pants keep you dry and comfortable. Professional construction with high density fabric. The tights have mesh back. Flat seam construction makes you feel more comfortable. Please check the size chart carefully and choose a recommend size to buy, do not brush or bleach. Do not tumble dry. If you have a problem with the winter mens cycling set, please feel free to contact them, they will try their best to help you.
👤I have purchased several warm weather cycling jerseys and shorts from the same store before and I was very comfortable buying this Men's Thermal Cycling Full Sleeve Riding Jersey with pants. I have a 42in chest and 34in waist. I ordered a Med and it was snug for me. Med is the way to go if you like your riding gear tight. If I am wearing a lighter jersey underneath as the day warms up, I return the med for a large. Jersey and pants have a lining. I rode for 12 miles on Feb 1st. It was overcast, with a light wind and 45 degrees outside. I was comfortable all the time. I would recommend them for riding in the cool weather. I have seen similar gear for less from other sellers, but the return policy is not flexible as Amazon, in case the size is not right and delivery time is much longer, is.
👤The pants are too loose around the crotch and the padding is off. I tried a Medium which was perfect length and felt right on my legs and upper body. The middle section was loose and the padding didn't reach my seat bones. It never touches the bike seat. The set is really good, but the faults make it useless. I have a few bike shorts. I know how this should look. The pants are not on. Returning.
👤I'm happy with my Jersey, but I'm not sure if it's a good fit for my body type. I'm 5'10" and 160-170 lbs and ordered a large because of the risk. The jersey was too baggy. I ordered a medium jersey and it matched the large size pants perfectly. This is a fall combination. I wear this along with a base layer shirt and wind shell, but would need something more thermal in nature for riding in the cold.
👤The quality is good, but the fit of the top is poor, the color is more yellow than green, and it is more polka dotted than the pictures show. The sleeve is baggy around the wrist and forearm. They could make bib-style pants.
👤The design, material and quality of the garment was better than I expected, and I am a fan of YELLOW. I was very happy to buy it because it fit the old carcass perfectly. Light enough to not feel like a snow suit, but heavy enough for a cold day. Highly recommend it.
The bike has a limited lifetime warranty. The Huffy Stone Mountain is ready for outdoor adventures with a Denim Blue hardtail frame and 21 speeds, just follow the steps in the product manual. The ideal for ages 13 and up and a minimum rider height of 5 feet, the frame is durable and backed by a limited lifetime warranty. The TZ-31 rear derailleur has a micro-shift twist shifter and aremovable rear derailleur guard to ensure consistent gear operation. The 26" X 1.95" knobby tires tear into dirt bike paths with ease; linear pull hand brakes deliver consistent stopping action; premium padded ATB saddle has stitched sides for lasting quality; and the alloy quick release provides easy seat height adjustment. The handlebars have a slight rise to minimize back and shoulder strain, and the pedals have a responsive feel.
👤I don't like writing bad reviews, I have a business and I understand when people want to rant about nonsense to get money back. That is not the reason I am here. I am here to save others from what I went through. I usually read reviews before I buy, but I didn't because I trusted the "Amazon's Choice" label. I thought I could go wrong. If I knew that the price would lead to me saying "you get what you pay for", I would have bought a nicer bike, which is what I will do now. There is a The bike is junk, it is sitting in a dump. It is garbage. I have ridden it at least 4 times. The handle bar comes loose every time I ride it, even though I have been trying to ride for about an hour to get a decent work out. I couldn't believe it when it came so loose the first time. Maybe I didn't tighten it enough. There is a Every time I ride, I have to tighten it as much as possible and it will come loose at the end of the hour. On my last ride, the left pedal is falling off, not only was the handlebar loose, but it was also my last ride. I am not doing bike stunts or tricks, I am not mountain biking on crazy trails. I ride my bike around Boston on easy trails that are not strenuous. I am a novice rider who is barely pushing the limits of the bike yet this piece of trash is falling apart right from under me as I ride it gently around bike trails in the city. It is a kind of joke. Don't waste your money. Get a real bike if you spend a little more. I will have to eat the loss since the return policy doesn't allow me to return it anymore. You will never get another dollar from me again because you stole the money.
👤I was skeptical when I bought this bike because of all the negative reviews. I check reviews and photos when buying online. There is a I know a lot about bikes, so I think huffy is a good brand. I have never put together a bike before but it seemed straight forward without the manual, I just don't care to read a manual. I was able to put the bike together in 1 hours without reading the manual or knowing how to assemble it. There is a It didn't fall apart on my ride with it, it was a first timer. There is a When I first took this bike for a ride, I immediately started playing with the gears to figure out what level I wanted the gears set at. There is a The tires that came with the bike seamed really comfy when I rode it, compared to others I have ridden recently. They wear hard as rocks. The bike seat was rather uncomfortable but I have a better seat downstairs. I will swap them! There is no big deal. It is easy to adjust to this bike. There is a The post office refused to deliver the package because it was too big, and it was frustrating. There is a They need to have someone else ship the item to resolve the issue. There is a If the shipping issue was fixed, I would give this five stars, but I am rating it a solid.
The bicycle rear base has a full rotation and is 4 feet high. The lightweight frame is easy to carry and folds in seconds. 7 speeds and a grip style shift. The stem is easy to adjust. The frame can be securely held together with the help of the Resin Folding pedals, Wider Comfortable Saddle and Magnet Catcher. The folded size is H 27" L-31" W-12.5. The weight is 29.0 lbs. It is recommended for riders 16-75 years of age.
👤I bought two bikes for my wife and stepdaughter, and one for my stepdaughter. I got the Campo version before buying theirs. The Campo does not have a handle bar like this version, but I loved it, they are shorter than me. If you're shorter than 6 inches, you should get this version. There is a Philip.
👤The bike is fun. Light, foldable. It is assembled and folded. It seems very well-made. The Campo model has a great price. It's easy to make adjustments to the seat and handlebars. It is easy to fold. It is a pleasure to ride it. I would recommend it to anyone who asked. Good for short rides, but people younger than me might enjoy longer rides. If you lean that way or don't keep your hands on the handlebars, steering will go left or right, so you have to pay attention.
👤It took one week to make adjustments to ride safely. It keeps getting worse and not being able to return it.
👤It's a good value folding bike to commute or ride in the city. In areas of less than rain or snow, having rim brakes is enough. The tires are thick enough to hold up on bumpy pavement, even without suspension parts. The seat pole suspension would be great for any improvement.
👤We have only had them a week so far, but they seem to be the same as advertised. Light and easy to fold and unfold. They will be used in our airplane to get to and from the airport.
👤This was a Christmas present for my husband. It is packaged very securely. It's easy to open and close. He loves it! Will be taking it with us when we go south for the winter.
👤Good quality work. It was packed very well. For camping trips.
👤It was nice to ride. 7 intermediate gears, not super for cruising, a bit hard on steep inclines. Solid built, folds quickly.
NHH friendly customer service and 1x NHH Bike Helmet are what you get. You will have fun with their bike helmet. A smooth ride is provided by the alloy hybrid frame with fit geometry and suspension fork. Quick, precise gear changes are provided by 21-speed shifters and rear derailleurs. The linear pull brakes are strong and lightweight. The seat post has a hybrid saddle and ergonomics. The 700c size wheel is for adults. The bike comes unassembled and has a limited lifetime warranty.
👤The 700C size wheel fits adults between 5'4" and 6'2". The bike was too big for me, I am 5'5". The bike carton shows the need for clearance between the top bar and crotch. I couldn't put my feet on the ground because I couldn't find any clearance for my height. It appears you have to be more like 5'7" to straddle the bike and be able to plant your feet on the ground with 1 or 2 between your crotch and the top bar. I ordered the bike because of the slope of the top bar, which I thought would allow me to easily mount the bike and plant my feet on the ground at a stop. I spent a lot of time getting the bike, paying $85 for assembly, and finding the bike was oversized because of the wrong web description. How can this happen? Who wrote the specifications for this bike? Who wrote it for a tall man? Who? I am angry because the description of the height range is completely wrong. Please remove this sentence because it is incorrect. I did not find a choice of frame sizes for this bike in the description. It must say for example that the man's height is 5'4" and the frame size is xx".
👤The bike came without pedals, seat post, and front wheel axle. I would have been happy just to get the missing parts if I had been able to contact customer support by phone and email.
👤My daughter is 10 years old and is 5 feet 2 inches tall. There is a The instructions were not perfect for raising handlebars. The bike is sturdy. The hybrid tread on tires is ideal. Schwinn quality is very good. We took the risk of ordering a bike online and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again.
👤Schwinn Network 1.5 700c is available. A 15 inch frame. There is a I was a bit worried about buying a bike online since I read the reviews that some customers were missing parts. I went with the suggested size according to my height on the Schwinn chart. The bike came with all the parts, and the size was correct for my height. There is a I watched a lot of videos on how to assemble since I knew I was going to assemble this bike. They were all the same. The video on the Schwinn website is universal as well. It was easy to figure out, it was less steps than the videos. This bike is perfect for standard sizes. I have to put the seat down so it's not too high. I sit on the seat with my toes on the ground. I was looking for a bike that would allow me to put my feet on the floor while I sit. I am looking for expert advice to see if I can change my wheel from the 28” to a 26 or even 24 inch. I'm not sure if I can. It is a good bike, packaged well and protected.
The tool-less adjustabe length is used to adjust the length of the kickstand. The reinforced plastic foot prevents slipping and sinking in mud. A steel hexagonal bolt prevents the foot from sliding off the kickstand. The angle stance is great for balancing bikes on the ground.
👤The kickstand may be good or bad. I did not get to test it. The mounting bolt is a problem. The photo clearly shows that the bolt is a hex bolt. It isn't. The bolt has a rounded head and a hexagonal head. The gearshift cable above the kickstand makes it impossible to mount my Trek bicycle securely. There is no way to use a key with an glyph. It would have been easy to secure from the side with a wrench. There is a It is difficult to get on the bolt because the threads are painted on it. The metric key they call for is large. I have about three dozen different sizes of hexagonal tools, but none of them fit correctly. If you don't have the right size, you will get frustrated.
👤There are a lot of positives about this, but one thing that is really worrying. The good first. There is a The kickstand is easy to install, and I love how you can change the height. There is a It sticks out far past the chainstay on my bike. My foot will catch it and extend it, forcing me to kick it back into place. Several times a day. There is no way to position it further inside. It hasn't happened yet, but if it were to come down while I'm in the middle of a street fight, it would throw me. No accessory will fit every bike. This is a quality product, but it makes me nervous when I ride with it. Something to think about.
👤I went to the hardware store to buy a longer bolt to fit the kickstand on a different bike. It was a bolt. The included ones were not long enough, so I used a 2.5" bolt for the new bike. Before buying this kickstand, I was not a fan of the generic kickstand sold with bikes. They were either too tall or short with no way to adjust them. Changing the tire height would make the kickstand unstable. There is a The kickstand is amazing. It is relatively light at 0.66 pounds. If not more, most other sturdy stands weigh double that. It is easy to adjust. Press a tab and move the section to the height you want. There were no bolts or complicated mechanisms. The length was a selling point for me. It will fit up to 29" wheels. The kickstand fit my mountain bike perfectly and felt sturdy because I could adjust the height. To many, putting a kickstand on a high dollar bike is not a good idea, but to me, it's a useful feature. I have had bikes fall when they are leaning against something. This kickstand has never caused a bike fall. I have put this on my road bike. Dropping a high dollar carbon bike is a bad idea. This prevents that thought from happening. There is a I've taken this on trails and large drops, and the stand never came down. The mechanism is very sturdy and makes a very strong click when you extend it. It works well on the roads with a road bike. There was no noise or gnashing of teeth. The kickstand is rock solid, will fit most bikes on the market, can be easily adjusted without any tools, and works amazingly well on mountain trails. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one for every bike I own because of the ease of adjustment and how good of a stand this is. Don't think twice if you're on the fence about buying this. The included bolt can be replaced with sizes you need at the hardware store. I got the bolt in the correct size, in the correct location. There is a The package included a standard bolt and an allen bolt. It's nice to have a choice.
The 700c size wheel is for adults. The bike comes unassembled and has a limited lifetime warranty. The full suspension frame is made of high quality steel. The steel crown suspension fork has a design. The Double Wall Rims have 36 spokes. The rear derailleur. Micro Shift 7 speed shift.
👤I can not speak to the mechanics of the bike because I haven't taken it out for a spin yet. Assembly was easy if you have the necessary tools. The bike was rated three by me because of the damaged tube. It is thought that during the packaging process one of the tire/tubing valves may have been forced into an unnatural position, causing it to tear and leak out. I would expect the parts to be in good shape for the cost of the bike. It looks like a good bike. I will update this once I take it out for a ride.
👤The welding was good. I don't know if I would order a bike online again. The shipping box was damaged in many places and one hole bent the piece photographed so much that it was in the spikes. My builder was able to bend it to the correct position. I didn't put it together so I'm not sure how easy it was to build. The reflective piece on the front wheel broke.
👤I bought this online because the local bike shops were out of used and new bikes. The bike was delivered on July 8, 2020. The spoke was bent from being shipped with the steering wheel neck. The gear shift mechanism on the rear wheel was bent badly and the left brake adjusting screw was bent. A lot of adjusting needs to be done, from brakes, steering column, and gears, as it would over shift past first gear, causing the chain to come off, and not shift into seventh gear. I would not buy a bike online again. I haven't tried to ride it yet.
👤All the local shops were sold out when we bought this online. I finally found this one. The handlebars are not straight when we open the box. When we attempt to ride the bike, the entire chain system just broke in half, and the bike is not safe to ride. Returned!
👤This is a good bike for the price. The bike came with a derailleur that wasn't aligned, and it wouldn't go to 7th. Graphics are not put on very well and that's the only other issue. The rim was good. The bike has been great with minor adjustments.
👤The product was flawed. The front of the crank is backwards and there is no way to fix it.
👤It took awhile for this bike to arrive but there was a huge shortage of bikes worldwide during the covid 19 situation. The bike is very comfortable and easy to ride, and it was a bit over $220.00, but it was a great bike. It was easy to assemble if you have done it before. I would recommend this bike to anyone. You can ride it around your neighborhood.
👤The bike is beautiful. It is comfortable and rides smoothly.
👤It was easy to assemble the bike pieces that were on the arribal, they were in great condition and the box had minimum damage.
👤The bike is easy to assemble. The seat is very comfortable.
Extra grip and stability are provided by the 2.25-inch wide knobby mountain tires. The bicycle seat cover is made of non-toxic and eco-friendly silicone material, which is comfortable and not easy to change. You will feel relief and comfort immediately, because it helps absorb the shock. Bring back the fun of cycling by consuming calories. The cushion cover will not slip because of the triple non-slip design. Don't use any other tools, install their exercise bike seat cushion with ease, it's more stable than a regular cushion cover. The reflective strip on the back of the bike seat cover was upgraded with a reflective strip. The surface of the bike seat cushion is made of Lycra fabric. The hollow design of the bicycle seat cover makes you feel less stressed while riding. The bike seat cover is designed for narrow bike seats, not for wide saddles. The bike seat cushion is suitable for most bikes. Please measure the size of your bicycle seat before purchasing and confirm that the cover fits your requirements.
👤I have no use for the seat without the cushion so I have to return it.
👤I wanted a softer seat on my new bike. This worked well for that and at a great price.
👤I think the fit was good because of the thread fit and not the velcro.
👤The back of my seat made it difficult to rise. Nice cushion!
100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back. Measure your bike and compare it to the size chart before ordering. The bike covers are only used in a static setting. Do not use if bike is to be mounted to a vehicle. RMY is one hybrid bike that you can't ignore; the lightweight aluminum frame is easy to handle and will never rust, and the metallic red frame looks stunning. The 21-inch frame is suggested for a minimum inseam of 38.6 inches; 17 and 19 inch frames are also available; all tools are included for fast assembly; the RMY is ideal for riding around town, commute, and exercise. Premium, richly padded saddle, with dual springs, is designed for real comfort; soft Kraton grips feel great; comfortable pedals maintain a responsive feel no matter how long you ride. The front suspension fork delivers solid performance; a slight-rise handlebar enables upright posture for a more comfortable ride; and the complete Shimano drivetrain enables seamless transitions between gears. All-terrain tread on the 700C tires enhances rolling momentum for less resistance between you and your destination, and lightweight linear pull brakes with machined alloy wheel rims enable superior brake pad contact to deliver smooth stopping power.
👤I don't understand how there are any negative reviews for this bike. There are several different models under one listing, but the white 17" women's bike is awesome. I bought another one for my daughter because I like it so much. High quality parts and materials, comfy seat, smooth shifts and brakes, lightweight, and stylish! People compliment me and ask where I got them. Assembly takes a little time, but it's worth it once you have this awesome cycling machine. I bike everywhere. I've done a lot of biking on different bikes in the past and this is the best I've ever owned. Not cheap, but high quality and worth. You will not regret it.
👤It took me two days to assemble the bike. It's partly due to inadequate instructions, which seem to be written only for those who already know how to put bikes together. It's partly due to sloppy preassembly. The fender was off center and pressing against the tire on the other side. The spokes had fender braces on them. I had to remove them and put them back together. I tried to remove the fender in order to center it correctly, but the bolt was over-tightened. I have not been able to loosen it. I will either have to find a special tool or someone who is very strong to do the job. What a mess the brakes are. The pads were pressed against the rim on one side and too far from the other side. This was the case on both tires. The adjustment screw and nut fell out when I tried to move the pad closer to the rim. There is a nut in a box. I was able to find a small slit using my flashlight. I thought that was where the nut went. I was able to force the little nut into the slit and it fell into place. The rubber brake boot was caught in the cable guide bolt. I don't understand how that could happen. The person who pre-assembled this bike had to have seen it. She was doing something. The metal cover on the end of the cable fell off when I loosened the bolt to free the boot. The twisted metal wires started to fall apart. As soon as I let go of my pliers, they began to relax. I was able to get the cover back on. I would have liked to have received the bike completely unassembled. I'm pretty sure I could have done a better job with it. The seat is not even after everything has been done. I'm not sure if that can be fixed. I'm angry and upset because this was not a cheap bike and I'm not going to break it down and send it back. I don't trust Royce Union and I'm worried about future problems with this bike. I couldn't find any support for the Royce Union. The owner's manual says to contact HUFFY!
👤I am very disappointed with this bike. I bought it last summer and it was damaged. The bike is very heavy and inconvenient to ride in the city. I went for a ride this morning to get dog food and had to refill my tires because they don't hold air well and my tires were deflated again. I have to buy a new bike because the one I have is terrible.
A hybrid bike is good for neighborhood rides. 700c wheels fit riders of 5 feet 7 inches to 10 feet tall. Schwinn alloy hybrid frame with fit geometry and suspension fork provide a smooth ride. 21 speed shifters with rear derailleurs offer precise gear changes. Extra comfort is provided by suspension seat post, Schwinn hybrid saddle, and ergonomics. The rear carrier has a lot of cargo space, but it also protects you from splashes.
👤I wanted to wait to post a review on this bike until I had a chance to actually develop an opinion beyond the initial impression. A little more detail and background was added. I am a male in my 30s who is getting back into cycling after a 15 year hiatus. I weigh 220 lbs. I am coming from a very sedentary life with four kids and a desk job. I do not have a very active lifestyle. I decided to get back into cycling to increase my activity level after finishing school. Labor Day 2015 was when I started riding again. Over a month. I've put over 200 miles on this bike. I was down on riding for about two weeks waiting for a repair, but it was not bad. There is a Let's start at the beginning. I picked this up on an Amazon Deal of the Day for a great price. I was considering a number of bikes, and this price was the one that tipped the scale for me. The model took less than a month to arrive after it was heavily ordered. When it arrived, it was packaged well and undamaged. The general instructions are vague due to how generic they were, but I assembled the bike myself. It took me about 30 minutes to get it assembled, however a lot of adjustment was needed, as I consider myself to be very handy and capable when it comes to this type of work. When attempting to shift or skip gears when powered into the pedals, the front and rear derailleurs were not setup well. I did both the wheels at the LBS, but at first I didn't know how much trued they needed. The brakes needed to be adjusted a lot and I spent a lot of time tweaking and tuning them over the first week. I would take it into the LBS from the beginning. There is a The assembly was not bad at the beginning, but over the next few weeks it changed. I am happy with the overall features of the bike, but I'm still debating on keeping it orUpgrading, the seat is large and comfortable, the fenders are plastic but effective, and the gears are helpful to get through the various ups and downs. The tires and tubes are fairly low end, but have served me well so far, I only had to fix one flat tire. The brakes are effective and the hand grip shifters are easy to use. The front fork and seat suspension is not very strong, but it loosens up as I ride, so it may be broken in in another 200 miles. I had to adjust the rotation on the handgrips to make my arms and wrists straighter while I ride because the handlebars are very variable and it took me some time to get the right adjustments. I adjusted my seat height and saddle depth for a more comfortable ride and feel this bike would be a good fit for anyone between 5'8" tall and 6'3" tall. It is worth the time to adjust the handlebars and saddle. There are some great videos on the internet. There is a The main additions I have made are a head light and tail light, handlebar mirror, mini pump, tool kit and patch kit, pannier bags, reflective stickers and pin stripping tape. There is a I am very happy with this bike, but there are two things that worry me. The rating was brought down by these things. There is a The bike is heavy, around 40 lbs. It is not a deal breaker to me. I feel like carrying more weight makes you a stronger rider. This weight is due to the sturdy construction which is where my concern is. The frame tubes on this bike are larger than most and are more round. This means that accessories on the bike may not fit. Something to be aware of before purchasing is not a deal breaker. There is a The quality and construction of the Wheel Rims is the big one. The bike had a double walled 700c x 38mm, 24h alloy wheel rim with 4 gauge steel spokes. The Rim is a standardly constructed Rim and it is light. I blew a spoke at 160 miles/ two weeks in. This is a road miles or paved trails with only a few significant bumps to speak of. I took it into the LBS and had them replace the spoke and true wheel. I blew two more spokes within the next 20 miles, but I couldn't make it home because I blew three more. I had to walk the rest of the way home after the wheel was no longer usable. I was told to buy new wheels after I contacted my LBS. I paid for the bike, but the low end spoke wheels will cost me more than I paid for. This was 195 miles and just under three weeks of use. I was not happy. I contacted Schwinn. They told me that they would send me a new rear wheel for free. It's nice, right? The only issue was that they didn't have the wheel in stock. They asked me to give them a few days to find the wheel, if not they would send me a different model that would work with my bike. I received an email two days later saying they had shipped a package. They decided to send me a set of wheels from another model of the same size to make sure I had a matching set of wheels after they couldn't find a replacement wheel for the Discover. They were upgraded from a 24 spoke wheel to a 32 spoke wheel at no additional cost to me. My bike is back after a full tune up. The new wheels were running smoothly. I just finished a 35 mile ride and was very happy. Schwinn stood behind their product. There is a The tube stem length is the only concern I have for the originals and the new ones. The stem of the tubes is a little bit longer than a standard 32mm stem. My LBS says they can't find tubes with a stem that long. I bought a pack of stem extensions which will allow me to purchase the standard 32mm stem size at my store or on Amazon without having to worry about the extra length or purchase specialty tubes. You could get by without the extensions, but they make changing a tube a bit quicker and easier. I have ridden this bike up to 42mph and it felt rock solid. I haul around 30 lbs of extra gear and groceries in good weather. There is a I think this is a solid bike that is made by a company that stands behind their products. It is a cruiser that is comfortable to ride. The 21 speeds give it flexibility for changing terrain and fitness levels, the cargo rack and fender give it a good look, and it looks good. If you are looking, I recommend this bike. There is a Also, note: There is a If you liked the review, the items I added to the bike have been reviewed as well. You can see my profile for these reviews. I covered up the 'Schwinn' logos on the bike with reflective tape and posted a picture of it. It was due to the fact that the tape should be in an effective location and only be used for anti-theft purposes. Schwinn products have been very good to me. There is an update on 12 March 2015. A quick update... I have about 700 miles of use left in me, and 500 miles on the new set of wheels. Within 100 miles of my wheel change, I broke another spoke on the rear wheel, I had to replace the front derailleur and the cable, with both myself and my LBS attempting to get it set up correctly and dialed in. The chain ring set has become slightly bent from use and I am looking at having to replace it. After the chain ring replacement, I will be into the bike for a long time. I still think it's a good bike for the price, but I would recommend it to someone who is looking to log some serious miles. There are additional recommendations. I patched about 8 times before investing in thick tire tubes, self-sealing tubes or tire liners, but changing a tire on the same day...this obviously depends on where you ride and the conditions that you ride in, but changing a tire on the same day is recommended. My morning and evening commute tend to be into a strong headwind for about 14 miles and I have recently installed a set of aero bars. I wanted an option to get me lower on this ride because my body position is too upright for the headwinds I have been riding in. I will do another update later. I have started saving and looking for a new bike.
