👤We loved the bike. Our daughter was in love as soon as my husband put it together. It is her 5th birthday present. It is perfect for her. The pedal was the problem. We contacted Amazon and were displeased because we told them we don't want to return but need the pedal as it's not working and they said they can't help unless I return. I was wondering if I could contact the seller. Within an hour, I responded to the message I had sent. My problem was solved. This is the problem. The left and right pedals should be screwed in the same way. The way we were doing it was the wrong way. Did they suggest how to do it? Done. It is easy to assemble with the tools provided, but a screw driver is needed to put the lights on the bike.

👤My son's 4th birthday is this bike. We got him a seat with training wheels that fits him perfectly. He is just shy of 41" tall. There is a The directions that came with the bike were confusing but assembly was easy. It took 45 minutes to assemble. Keeping the alignment with the front tire was the most difficult part of getting the handbags tightened down. That is a two person job. The rest can be done on their own. There is a The frame, seat, and tires are strong but the front reflectors are not. My son falls and the fender bends out of place. They are easy to push back into place, but I am not happy with how quickly they move. The first spill my son took, the front reflector snapped off, leaving a sharp piece of plastic. I need a new, stronger, reflector after removing it. There is a I think this is a great first bike and well worth the price.

👤We bought this for our 5 year old little girl. It was easy to put together, it was a really cute little bike. The instructions didn't explain everything, but I looked at the pictures and figured it out. The hub doesn't spin very long but she hopes it will help her when she rides it around. Great purchase!

👤We got a blue bike with a different design than the one we bought, but it was light blue. I can't find the bike color that I ordered. My daughter loves her bike, but she would probably love any bike. It's a heavy bike for a young child to hold up and maneuver, and it doesn't come with a kickstand, despite what I read online. I find it very heavy when I have to pick it up. The weight of the bike doesn't matter when my daughter is on it. The handlebars don't adjust up and down, but you can adjust it forward and back, and the pedals don't have any grip so her foot slips from them every now and then. The color I ordered was greenish. I got the blue one with flowers that look exactly like the photo I ordered, but I didn't get the color I ordered. We have already put the seat up as high as it can go, so maybe we should have ordered the next size up for her. When she transitioned from her balance bike to a big girl bike, we had it lower. We never put the training wheels on the bike because she only took 2 days to learn to balance. There is a I wouldn't recommend this bike because of its heavy weight, lack of kickstand, and lack of grip on the pedals.

Brand: Joystar

👤I bought this bike for my son. It is cute and comes with stickers to name the bike, as long as you don't need more than 2 of any letter your good. There are no instructions about how to install basket, but it does require assembling with a provided wrench. You will need a tire pump as tires are flat upon arrival. Delivery was on time. The bike was well packaged. The seat is the reason we give it 4 stars. The seat is very hard and our daughter complains that it hurts her butt. I want to see if we could swap seats. The one thing I like about it is that it rides more like a cruiser because of the higher handle bars. I don't blame kids for not wanting to sit on the seat for longer than 5 minutes. It is like sitting on a rock.

👤The bike is a good size for my little girl. She was going to put her little brother in the basket and take him with her because she loved the bike and the basket so much. He is almost 30 lbs. and he is already running around. It's a funny thing. I hope it will last, as we have not used it much. There is a The picture looks exactly like it. The 14 in. was bought by me. My 3 year-old is quite tall. The pink color is nice. The basket is easy to assemble. I was able to do it on my own. It had all the tools needed for assembly, and a little fish as a bell. The price is decent, but I couldn't put my daughter's name on the bike because the stickers only have one set of letters. The little fish is hard to make a sound from. My 3 year-old can't press it or squeak it by herself. If you decide to assemble it yourself, remember to put air in the tires. I forgot to check when I took my little one, and she couldn't ride because of the lack of air, I blame it on my brain. It's easier to get the pieces in the right place and the right direction if you look at the picture while assembling.

👤The bicycle arrived as promised. It was easy to assemble and took me about an hour. I have old hands. There is a It is a sturdy bike. The training wheels are aligned so that the bike doesn't feel tippy like many with training wheels do. It is secure and solid. The 12 inch bicycle is perfect for my granddaughter, who is 37 inches tall. I am very pleased with the purchase of this bike.

👤This product is great. It has all the bells and whistles. It's very strong. The value is great. The basket in the front is a nice touch, the handle bar brakes are great for my child to learn how to brake with her hands, if she forgets about the hand brakes in the rear. There were two scratches on the front wheel, but that is ok, the paint job was great. I'll blend pink nail polish in. There is a An easy to put together bicycle. It took me 15 minutes. I was taking my time. The wheels, brakes, basket and pedals were all that was needed. It was easy. Your child will like it.

5. ACEGER Basket Training Kickstand Kickstand

ACEGER Basket Training Kickstand Kickstand

The best fit for riders with an inseam of 13 to 16 is the 14 inch bike. The training wheels on the 14” bike make it easy to transition from balance to pedal bike. The 20 inch bike is designed for girls ages 6-9 years. The frame is sturdy for safety. The air-filled tires were changed to make riding more comfortable. Soft handlebars, reflectors and a bell are included. The wicker basket is very cute to hold all the stuffed animals. All the tools are included for easy instructions. Out of the box, and riding in less than 10 minutes. The left pedal has an anti-clockwise motion towards the front of the bike. The right pedal is the one that rotates the front of the bike. If the fender holder is too narrow, you can push it larger by yourself.

Brand: Aceger

👤The worst piece of junk ever made. The rear tire exploded when air was put into it. Returned. The bolt on the brake assembly snapped on the second bike. I can't deal with it anymore. This company makes a bike that I will buy another bike from. This bike is from this company and you should avoid buying it.

👤Disappointed in the color. The bike had a yellow color. It is more sun yellow in person. If my daughter hadn't seen it, I would have returned. She seems to be happy with it. She hasn't ridden it a lot yet, but it seems like a decent quality for the price.

👤My 5 year old loves her new bike and finds it easy to ride. This has been an issue for her in the past.

👤We bought a bike for our daughter's birthday. The bike front fender is damaged. There is an issue with the left pedal. Either try to rethread the crank or return the whole bike. There was room in the box for the pedals. The seller has great customer service and is great to work with. The fender issue was corrected and I received a new left pedal. I was happy with the bike and would buy it again from this seller.

👤The fender is a little rickety.

👤My daughter will receive a bike for Christmas. It came as ordered. She loved it. The back tire was not holding air. We checked to make sure there were no leaks or holes when she rode it. I contacted the seller and requested a new tube because of an issue with the one I had. We get confirmation the next day that they went above and beyond and are shipping a new back tire. Thank you so much for the great service. Can't wait to ride her bike. She is very excited.

👤I found broken plastic pieces when I unpacked the bike. While putting on the front fender, I realized that it was warped and rubbed against the tire. Imagine if the tire was inflated. The bike is very sturdy. My poor girl will be splashed with whatever puddles are in her path.

👤I wish the explanation for putting it together was more elaborate. I didn't understand most of the instructions, so I had to watch the video on the internet to see how things are done. There is a A great bicycle. My kid can't stop riding after figuring out how it works.

6. Pink Balance Bike Special Needs

Pink Balance Bike Special Needs

The Q-Factor technology has narrower pedal positions that match the width of a child's hips, allowing for easier peddling and handling. It is the best way to learn to cycle. A balance bike is a fun way to learn to ride. A no pedal bike allows children to master balance and steering first so moving to pedal bike is easy. A big balance bike is a great bike. It was designed for every child. This is a bike for children up to 9 years old. A balancing bike is great for kids who have challenges and experienced riders who love testing their limits. There are pink, green, or blue balance bikes. Girls and boys balance bikes. It's safe and durable. Children need to be safe on balance bikes. The kids balance bike has been tested with the weight of larger children and it is amazing. Both wheels are equipped with safety washers. There is no need for kids to set up balance bikes. The bike is partially assembled. The wheels are ready to ride. Attach the seat and handlebars to your child with the wrench provided. Please let them know if you're not happy with the bike or the results. If you don't like your balance bike, they will buy it back from you. They can fix or replace parts.

Brand: Bixe

👤This bike is very special to me. I have a 7 year old son with a condition that makes it hard for him to ride a bicycle. He wasn't having fun learning and his parents were frustrated. He was understanding how to balance but didn't have the confidence to do it. He wasn't understanding the need to keep pedaling and he was afraid of letting go of the bike. He would jump off the bike or put his foot down when we let him go. I bought a bike. He loves it! We don't have to follow him closely because he keeps asking to ride his bike. We had it a week ago. I'm happy to see that he's happy in riding. There is a video in our driveway. He drags his feet to stop so he doesn't go into the street. He glided down a steep hill without stopping at a campground this weekend. He can rest his feet on the bar. He rode the hill many times. It was safe on the bottom of the hill. I love this bike. He will be able to transition to a bike with pedals if he has the confidence to balance. This bike is very good. I wish we would have gotten this for him sooner.

👤I rely on longer reviews by others to make buying decisions, and this is going to be a bit long. We tried a pedal bike with training wheels first because my 4-year-old is tall for his age, and we needed a larger balance bike. He loved training wheels so much that it was clear he would never give them up. He's not very athletic and tends to learn new physical skills slowly. His height, late start at balancing, and lack of athletic ability all suggest he's going to be on a balance bike for a while. There is a So. The Bixe and the 14x Sport were ordered by us. The bike is built better. There's no way around it. If you have multiple kids and plan to give the bike to them a few times, it would be a good choice. The higher sticker price is negotiable. The Sport has small tires and footrests that make it look like a little kid bike, so I would not be surprised if my child starts asking for a big kid bike when it's finally time to put the pedals on. When I was looking at bikes, I thought the footrest on the Strider would be important, but my child never rests his feet on either bike anyway. When he wants to coast, he lifts his feet up. The Bixe is less expensive than the Strider. I don't know how to tell the difference between the two, the metal the Bixe is made of seems slightly less heavy-duty and when you're assembling the front steering wheel things fit together more easily. The Bixe doesn't have the ability to adjust the seat height without tools. It's easy to change the seat height on the strider when we are out riding. The Bixe's seat needs to be adjusted with the allen wrench. My child has never asked for the Bixe seat to be adjusted, even though he has done it a few times. If I hadn't compared the bikes, I wouldn't have noticed the differences. We kept the bikes so one could stay at the grandparents. The Bixe can handle anything a kid could throw at it. It will hold up until my kid is ready to upgrade to pedals and will likely be in good enough shape to pass on to another family. My kid likes the Bixe because it looks grown up. He's too young to tell you how they feel on a ride. He looks forward to riding it when he goes to his grandparents' house. My kid is thrilled with this bike and I am happy with the price compared to the Strider. Customer service. The Bixe bike I received had a problem that made it hard to put it together. Bixe customer service went above and beyond to address the issue. They resolved the issue way beyond what I expected. You don't have to pay $250 for a bike. You and your kid will be happy with the Bixe. If you're still reading, please take the time to read this review.

7. Dynacraft Magna Starburst Street Purple

Dynacraft Magna Starburst Street Purple

Girls BMX bike with front hand and rear coaster brakes. There is a custom bag, frame pads, and streamers. The training wheels are changeable. The frame and fork have a lifetime warranty. The bike dimensions are 33" x 23" x 52"

Brand: Dynacraft

👤We almost didn't buy this bike because of the negative reviews. We decided to give it a try as a replacement gift for a neighbor. My husband is a junky from mountain biking. Being a guru with brands. He wants to write a five star review. He said it was easy to put together, tires fit into forks easily, colors are perfect for a girl, and there is no hand brakes to tackle up. Give it a try. She liked it.

👤Our daughter's sixth birthday is when this bike was bought. It took about 30 minutes to assemble. The front wheel was challenging. Our daughter immediately took it for a spin after seeing it. She was able to learn to ride it after riding the training wheels off. They were hard to keep in place despite what I thought was adequate tightening. They came off while she was in motion. She didn't have any accidents because her instinct kicked in. The price is right for this bicycle and the kid was happy. If your child is ready to learn to ride, this is a good first bike. The bike was done by the end of last fall. It's sitting in the garage. The seat is not assembled correctly and the back tire has separated from the rim. It is cheap but it may not last long. I removed a star because of this.

👤Don't buy this unless you want to fit the front wheel on the bike. The front fork is too narrow for the wheel and can't be widened by hand, so you can't attach the wheel. The company doesn't care about quality control, as the issues were reported six months ago and haven't been fixed. There is a I had to dig out metal debris from the front steerer tube in order to get the handlebars to fit. S.

👤The pros are 1. The item is in line with the description. The colors look like online images. 2. The bike fits my daughter perfectly at the lowest seat position with room to grow, she is 3.5 years old and 42" tall. The assembly was fairly easy, though instructions are not included, so you have to have some basic knowledge of how things fit together on a bike. There is a They had a cons. The pre-assembled parts of the bike show signs of poor craftsmanship and need to be adjusted. The pedals and back wheel are very tight, making it difficult for your child to start riding. We had to disassemble and loosen the back wheel and pedal assembly to make it easier for my daughter to ride and maneuver the bike. She is very happy with her bike after the tune-up. Unless you are prepared to perform a similar tune-up, you are making it too difficult for your child to ride this bike and setting them up for failure. What is important to you is what you choose.

👤Cute. It's pretty simple. If you don't know what you're doing, you can put it together in an hour. Took me about 20. Nice tires that need to be inflated. Training wheels can be adjusted from the ground to about 1 inch off for less stability and more 2 wheeled riding. The handle grips were flat on the grip due to being squeezed in multiple spots. The babydoll seat was separated.

8. JOYSTAR Training Starter Bicycle Birthday

JOYSTAR Training Starter Bicycle Birthday

The Joystar Paris Girls bike is designed for toddlers up to 42 inches tall. This bicycle has a good fit and low gear for easy pedalling. The Paris is a great place to ride a bike around the neighborhood. The Hi-Ten steel frame and fork provide great impact resistance when riding over rocky and bumpy terrain. Your child will grow up with the height of the saddle and stem. The Front Handbrake and Rear Coaster brake are great for young riders because they can stay in full control when needed. The enclosed chain guard is for your kids. The training wheel will keep everything pointing in the right direction until she is able to balance on her own. She can learn and feel comfortable behind the wheel with single-speed and soft grips. The bicycles come with a basket and stickers that make it more fun for your child to ride. The minimum maintenance is contributed by the non-slip pedal and one piece crank. You don't have to worry about damage or maintenance with JOYSTAR's durable steel frame and puncture-proof tires. The kids bike comes with 85% assembled body and the basic assembly tools, perfect customer service and Lifetime Warranty on manufacturing defects for all metal frames, rigid forks, stems, and handlebars.

Brand: Joystar

👤My daughter is 3.5 years old, she has a 14 inch bike, she is about 37 inches tall, and she weighs 32 lbs. When we got it, we had some trouble keeping the wheels inflated, but my husband installed them and we were off and running. I was glad I bought a pump at the same time I bought the bike because by the next day we had to deflate them. I think the bike is great and the colors are great. It is sturdy and not heavy for my daughter. This is her first bike and she knows how to ride it.

👤I am very pleased with the purchase so far. It comes as advertised, it doesn't require a huge amount of assembly, and it is built well. My only complaint so far is that the training wheels are too low on our particular model, which makes it hard for my young one to ride over rough terrain without high centering the back tire. The training wheels are very sturdy, which means they are not easy to bend into shape, and they are not really adjusted by more than an inch, so ours is already on its highest setting. I haven't had a single problem with the bike, and eventually those will come off anyway! Definitely would buy again.

👤Beware of the new condition from Amazon Warehouse. There is a clear outline of what the criteria are to meet that designation. The box was damaged when I received it. It wasn't looked at at all. The front tire and brakes have been damaged. The training wheels had a neccessary nut missing. The box was damaged and it was shipped without it. It wasn't protected for transit. I'm good with bikes, I was able to fix the brakes, they were upside down, and I had an older bike that I salvaged from until replacement parts could be found. I received the bike at a lower price than a new item. I feel like the condition of the bikes was misrepresented. Extra work is required for a "like new" item instead of a bike that is just used and abused.

👤My daughter liked the basket and the ride on the bike. The bike was easy to put together, the packaging was good, and all the pieces were delivered. The bikes chain fell off after a day of riding. I noticed that the cranks were lost while I was trying to fix the chain. I tried to tighten the cranks with a crank nut, but it didn't work. I had to tell my daughter that her bike was broken as she watched. We would have to return it. Very sad. She was so happy to get to ride a bike with her brothers, she was so proud of herself. The product has received good reviews and we hope that the issue is a simple case of someone in the production chain not paying enough attention. If we can't find a similar bike with similar reviews, we will try again with this product. The product is easy to assemble and we rated it 4 out of 5 stars, but the fact that the chain fell off and the cranks broke the Sturdiness category received 1 out of 5 stars, and in the end, we paid cash for the product and the bike was not usable

Brand: Activ Life

👤Just needed five more flex ties to fit it to my son's wheelchair. The batteries helped. One wheel to go!

👤The video was very helpful. I would have been confused about how to put on the Activ lites if it were just for the paper instructions. The video shows you how to put on the lights. I love the lights. I don't like having one flashing light on the front of my bike and another on the back. I am able to drive safely in the dark with the help of Activ lites. I would want to see someone with Activ lites. One of the only problems I have with the product is that the part that holds the batteries could be a little bit more secure. When you think about it, there is no safer, more efficient, or more secure place than the on/off switch. When I put the lights around the spokes, I thought that they would slip down the spokes. They work amazingly. They stay in place if you put them on tight. There is a I would definitely recommend the product to others, I think it's amazing.

👤Great lights! I use these on my commute. We're very easy to install. The lights make you more visible at night. I feel more comfortable entering an intersection that I am seen from all angles. I got a lot of comments from car drivers after I turned them on for the first time. It's important that they look cool and increase being noticed. I had an issue with one of the lights. I contacted the seller and he fixed the issue. The seller was the best I have ever worked with and I am happy to support him. Purchasing is something I highly recommend. You should be aware that these work with internal rear hubs. The larger hub could easily be accommodated with extra zip ties. Disco lights from active life are also fun.

👤The bomb is here. The picture is taken in my house at night with my lights on. It was impossible to not ride at night. The bike is nice. Wow. I am glad I did not drop acid today. A dude actually said that. I rate anything less than 5 stars because it has to be amazing. This product is amazing. I bought 4 units and one of them went bad within 30 days, but ACTIV light reached out to me and offered to replace it. Who does that? 5 stars for customer service. I didn't know that these units takeAAA batteries and not AA batteries like every other unit I saw. The battery pack is smaller than AA batteries. I like that.

👤I ordered these for my daughter's 7th birthday so she could ride the bike we bought her. I opened them the night before and installed the first set of lights on her bike, but when I looked at the second one, it smelled like burning and the battery canister was hot, I realized the second one must have a short in it. I changed out the batteries. I sent an email to Amazon on June 12th, but no response was received until June 20. The blue set I ordered for my son is good, but I want to return all of them. I was going to buy sets for my other two daughters but will probably not because of the risk of buying something that does not work again and the terrible customer service. They claim to be a small family business, yet they don't respond to e-mail demanding the urgent need to get a new one for my daughter's birthday present. Still waiting...

Brand: Huffy

👤I don't like writing bad reviews, I have a business and I understand when people want to rant about nonsense to get money back. That is not the reason I am here. I am here to save others from what I went through. I usually read reviews before I buy, but I didn't because I trusted the "Amazon's Choice" label. I thought I could go wrong. If I knew that the price would lead to me saying "you get what you pay for", I would have bought a nicer bike, which is what I will do now. There is a The bike is junk, it is sitting in a dump. It is garbage. I have ridden it at least 4 times. The handle bar comes loose every time I ride it, even though I have been trying to ride for about an hour to get a decent work out. I couldn't believe it when it came so loose the first time. Maybe I didn't tighten it enough. There is a Every time I ride, I have to tighten it as much as possible and it will come loose at the end of the hour. On my last ride, the left pedal is falling off, not only was the handlebar loose, but it was also my last ride. I am not doing bike stunts or tricks, I am not mountain biking on crazy trails. I ride my bike around Boston on easy trails that are not strenuous. I am a novice rider who is barely pushing the limits of the bike yet this piece of trash is falling apart right from under me as I ride it gently around bike trails in the city. It is a kind of joke. Don't waste your money. Get a real bike if you spend a little more. I will have to eat the loss since the return policy doesn't allow me to return it anymore. You will never get another dollar from me again because you stole the money.

👤I was skeptical when I bought this bike because of all the negative reviews. I check reviews and photos when buying online. There is a I know a lot about bikes, so I think huffy is a good brand. I have never put together a bike before but it seemed straight forward without the manual, I just don't care to read a manual. I was able to put the bike together in 1 hours without reading the manual or knowing how to assemble it. There is a It didn't fall apart on my ride with it, it was a first timer. There is a When I first took this bike for a ride, I immediately started playing with the gears to figure out what level I wanted the gears set at. There is a The tires that came with the bike seamed really comfy when I rode it, compared to others I have ridden recently. They wear hard as rocks. The bike seat was rather uncomfortable but I have a better seat downstairs. I will swap them! There is no big deal. It is easy to adjust to this bike. There is a The post office refused to deliver the package because it was too big, and it was frustrating. There is a They need to have someone else ship the item to resolve the issue. There is a If the shipping issue was fixed, I would give this five stars, but I am rating it a solid.
