1. Schwinn Steerable Featuring Chainguard Quick Adjust

Schwinn Steerable Featuring Chainguard Quick Adjust

The bike dimensions are 33" x 23" x 52" The Schwinn Petunia Girl's Bicycle is a great gift for your child. This kid's bike has a push-handle that can be removed if the child is riding alone. A fully enclosed chainguard and front and rear fender keep the road clear. Heavy duty training wheels add stability. The included water bottle is cage-mounted to the push handle. As your child grows, the quick-release seat post and quick-release alloy saddle are adjusted. The bike is ready to be assembled. The wheels are 12 inches long.

Brand: Schwinn

👤We bought this bike for our three year old after a lot of shopping. Most of the push bikes that we've seen were for smaller kids, and we didn't want a balance bike that he couldn't pedal. This is the right size for him. I think it's more of a 3-6 age range bike. The training wheels are also replaceable. This bike will help your child learn to ride. The handle steers the bike. My son loves to ring the bell. It has a water bottle and holder. A quality bike is worth the money. The picture is 40 inches tall and 40 pounds three years old.

👤It would have been nice to know the wheel size rating before I bought the product because my son falls in the age range but not the height suggestion. I will need to return the bike and find an identical one.

👤I was not sure how the bike would turn. We had a three in one trike that did not ride well. I decided to buy this for my daughter. I am so happy I did. It turns into a dream. Even though she can't pedal, she loves it and thinks she's a big girl. This bike is very good. The assembly was easy.

👤We live on busy streets. On the streets side walk, there is high traffic and busy. It's 2.8 y.o. It was a bit heavy but sturdy. A 6 month review. The bike was in storage for a long time. Usually we go to a local park and every body like this bike, like color and the way an adult can push and guide it. The pedals suddenly got hard. We have to carry it back home. I opened the pedals and found that the left and right sides of the bottom were loose. I would like to know if the manufacturer will cover or replace the whole crankset. The update is one year. The lower bearing set was sent to me by the manufacturer. I added a lot of grease to the bearings. I decided to add more grease to the front wheel. The rear wheel bearing made it harder to pedal. I will ask the manufacturer to email me again. Waiting for a response. There was an update on 4/20. The lower bearing set was sent to me by the manufacturer. I added a lot of grease to the bearings. I decided to add more grease to the wheels. It is not perfect but it is much softer.

👤Don't spend your money on a bike. This item deserved a poor review. I bought my 2.5y daughter just over a year ago. The training wheels are so short that she can't keep her balance and the peddles fall off when she's riding. The parent steering mechanism failed after 6 months of minimal use. Schwinn should be ashamed. Don't waste your money! Someone who hasn't used this piece of junk yet gave a positive review.

👤The bike has exceeded my expectations. It seems like everything for this age group has plastic wheels. They're too big for toddlers and don't have a parent handle, if they have real wheels with trainers. This little Schwinn is adorable, but it also ticks all the boxes for us. Our small child can reach the pedals. He was able to backbreak after a week. There is no break on the handlebars. My two older kids were not able to break the habit of using those and backpedaling. He gets a natural feel for steering when he rides with the parent handle. We aren't ready to take the training wheels off yet, but I think the parent handle helps with this. Trying not to let them fall was not running alongside them. My 3 year old loves the bell and pretends he is a fire truck alarm. I recommend this over the plastic wheeled tricycles because it will carry you through more learning phases.

Brand: Joystar

👤The bike is cute. It is a great bike for a young child. I was pleasantly surprised by the strength of it. It took my husband 45 minutes to assemble. My daughter loves the bike and has not had any problems riding it. The 14inch purple was ordered by us.

👤This is not a well-made bike. The bike chain fell off several times after my child rode this. If you have to maneuver around an awkwardly placed cover, it's one thing if the chain is easy to place back, but another if you have to do it by mistake. The training wheels kept coming off even though we screwed them back on. The lack of choices during the Pandemic made us not purchase this bike, which was quite expensive for a child's bike of this size. I regret buying it, it only took me a few months to get it. When I asked if there was anything wrong with the cover, they told me there was nothing wrong with it. When I said that the bike chain kept coming off and that it was a frustrating experience, I did not hear anything back from them. We bought another child's bike from Target, and it has held up well. It's better to use a trusted bike name.

👤Our little girl loved the bike we bought for her 3rd birthday. The assembly took 30 minutes. The bike is sturdy and looks good, but it is hard to ride even after adjustments are made. It's not as smooth as it could be. She transitioned from a balance bike to a road bike without the training wheels, but uphill is almost impossible at the moment with the extra resistance. The ground is not as fast as it should be. The resistance on the training wheels wouldn't be that big of a deal because they would stay upright when stopped and at slow speeds. She likes putting her stuffed animals in the basket when she rides. I don't think she will be interested in this bike for more than a year before she buys a bigger bike. It is a nice looking bike with a basket for a little girl.

👤The product was what was advertised. Assembly was easy for those with little mechanical knowledge. There is a The only complaint I have is to get the bike to work, as I felt it should be done in a more orderly fashion, as things weren't perfect in line and over right. A person without bike knowledge would think it was terrible.

👤The little girl is riding a bike. The basket is adorable with its flowers and the colors are pretty. The bike is sturdy. It was well packed and only required minor assembly, which my husband did in 15 minutes. We did not use the training wheels. I think they are made well. My daughter is 7 years old and I got her a 16 inch wheel bike. I was worried it would be small. It is perfect. We have had no issues with her riding it. I was very pleased with the purchase.

Brand: Petimini

👤The first bike we received was faulty and we were unable to install the front tire. There was no way to make it work because the pieces didn't line up correctly. I really liked this bike. I went with a replacement instead of a refund. I wanted this size for my daughter because the stores in my area don't sell 14 inch bikes. The reviewers that did not receive a bike had good things to say about it. My daughter loves her bike and the replacement was good.

👤Excellent bike. We bought this to help our 5 year old off her bike. It is the perfect height for her. She is about average height for her age. The materials seem sturdy and well made, and the seat and handle add a vintage look. I want to buy my son a bike when he is ready so we can have a quality bike when the time comes.

👤I bought my son a bicycle for Christmas. I was going to order the 14" wheel size but he is exactly 40" The maximum height for the 14" was recommended by the manufacturer. The minimum recommended height for a 16" wheel was 38", so I assumed it would be 16. I assembled it after getting the 16. He can only reach the ground on his tip toes with the seat at the lowest position. It makes it difficult for someone who is still learning. It is difficult for someone just 40 years old to ride a heavy bicycle. Even with training wheels, he can't zip about on his balance bike. I would swap it for the 14" if I weren't living in the USA. He will have to wait until he is taller. There is a The quality of the bicycle is okay, what I expected. It could have been packaged with more protection. It was in the box and had a few scratches.

👤The training wheels are 18” I tried to put the bike together with the instructions, but it was difficult. They graciously added in the photos of the bike with the video. It took an hour, but it was much easier. This is a nice bike and I can't wait for my grandson to come for Christmas!

👤Well packaged and ready to assemble. The lubricating seat and handler-bar tubes will save you a lot of headaches down the road. Even a light brush of oil can help grease. There is a My child loves the bell on it.

Brand: Joystar

👤This little bike is great. It was packaged well and put together. It was easy to assemble and the seat and handle bars can be adjusted so it can grow with your child. Our grand daughter loves it. We liked it because it's not too large. She was not intimidated by it at all. The fatter tires allow her to ride with ease on our dirt road as well as the pavement of our driveway. The product is great for the price.

👤The first bike was great. Our 4 year old is really enjoying riding and is riding with the training wheels on. There is a I only needed aPhillips screwdriver and a uni-wrench-thingamajig for the assembly to be done. You can adjust the seat with your hand by flipping it open. There is a You need a pump for the tires to stay on the rim. It wasn't a big deal because we ordered a pump with the bike and figured we'd need one eventually. There is a You don't have to hunt for a set of sockets when you remove the training wheels because they are secured with bolts. There is a We bought a bell for five dollars, and we recommend some additional lighting, as well as a battery headlight. There is a We are really pleased with the bike, it far exceeded our expectations. Our youngest will have it for a year or two, and she loves it.

👤The bike is cute. I put the basket and baby seat in my three year old. One of the foot pedal screws is too large for the hole it goes into, so it is not screwed all the way in. The website for the bike that the instruction manual for is for does not exist, so it took me a long time to assemble it. I had to wing the bike. We will see how durable it is after receiving it today. I was surprised with the stickers it came with. Despite the assembly issues, I'm satisfied with the alternative...this is an excellent alternative.

👤Our daughter's 5th birthday is when we bought this bike. She has been riding a balance bike since she was small. The training wheels were not included when we assembled the bike. She was riding like a pro within 4 days. She likes the colors. We added a bell to the handlebars. The bike is a bit heavy. She almost always drops the bike when she loses her balance, and needs a hand to get it back. I'm not sure why it's so heavy. Our daughter is just 5 years old and she is about 39 inches tall. I think we bought the 14-in model. It's the right size with the seat all the way down. We can raise the seat and handlebars to give her room to grow. We're really happy.

👤My daughter loves this bike. I thought it was too heavy to return. She loved it. We stuck with it and I am happy about it. We came from using a bike. There is a It is very sturdy and cute. Her old basket is larger and more colorful. There is a The seat has a place for adults to hold on so you can train your child. The feature is great. The customer service was great. This bike is very good.

Brand: Joystar

👤My 5 year old son outgrew his 12 inch bike so we bought a 14 inch bike. The extra 2 inches in the wheels made a big difference. He tried to keep up with his big brother by riding a 12 inch bike without training wheels, but it hurt his legs. He can stay with his brother on his 14 inch bike now that he is fast. I wish we could have purchased a 16 inch bike for him because it was too big even with the seat all the way and he was shorter than average. Even for non-handy people, the bike is very sturdy and easy to put together. It's a good thing.

👤For our son's birthday, we got him a bike and he loved it! He thought it was a "Minecraft" bike because of the block-pattern stickers. That made it even better for him. The seat and handlebars are easy to change. We only had it for a few weeks, so I can't give it a full 5 stars yet. There is a The price of the bike was ok, but I think it would be a little more reasonable if it were priced under $100. Our son is anxious to get the training wheels off so he can ride a bike with his brother. It's a great bike for beginners.

👤I bought this bike in January and the little guy rode it a few times. I had to put the chain back on about 10 times, and I had to slide the wheel back to make the chain tighter. The chain fell off as the bike made clicking noises. What a waste of money.

👤It is a nice bike, but I wouldn't recommend buying it for the price. It was easy to put together but they wouldn't line up to the ground perfectly. My son would peddle the bike when he rode up the hill because the chain wouldn't give up and he wouldn't get resistance. My husband and I redid the chain many times because it seemed like the bike wasn't made for resistance but for flat surfaces. I bought the bike for my son because all the bikes were hard to come by. I wouldn't recommend this bike.

👤I was hesitant to purchase this bike because I was unfamiliar with the brand but after a week of my son riding it daily, I have nothing bad to say about the quality of the bike. It seems like a good bike. I think my son is too big for the frame even though he is within the posted size guidelines. It was easy to assemble. Don't dial in the brakes if you don't want to. The results are worth the tuning. Quality is as good as anything I have bought before.

👤The bicicleta is made of buen material. Ayudan a armarla conjunto con el manual. Trae stickers de letras. Is that a medio? El nico inconveniente es un importante, pero tiene una hijo de 4 aos. Est puesta! No alcanza poner pies en los pedales. Slo los topa. Mi hijo is normal. Simplemente the bicicleta is simple, para el grupo de edad. Amigos, aquelles le quide. hay de otra is not available.

7. Dripex Training Wheels Kickstand Toddler

A one-piece crank, ball bearing drive shaft, and a coverage chain guard are included. A full coverage chain guard protects little hands, feet, and clothing. Their warehouse is in the state of CA, ordering earlier delivery.

Brand: Dripex

👤I got my son a bike for Christmas. I am getting him a bigger bike because he outgrew his small bike. He can put his helmet in the basket when it comes with the bell. He needs to practice more in order to take the training wheels off. I asked my son if he wanted this one with the blue color, and he chose it. It is worse when he buys something he doesn't like and is asked to use it. My kid was very excited to ride his new bike after my husband put it together. The bike is sturdy and the paint is good. I always make sure that my child is safe when I buy them something. I want my son to ride a bike that is strong and sturdy, and so far this bike has met my need.

👤Happy with the quality of the bike. Since we are not using the training wheels, there are some missing items. The bike is easy to assemble if you can figure it out. The diagrams don't tell you which part you need to use. I don't know what the cross tube and the riser are. There is a The kickstand is the biggest problem. I have to keep trying different hardware until I find something that sticks because there is no instructions on how to put it on.

👤Santa gave my son a bike for Christmas. He didn't get to ride it for a while because the tires needed to be aired up and we didn't have a pump. The chain broke when he rode it for the first time. Not a good look for Santa. 85% of the bike was assembled. The instructions for the rest of the assembly are useless. It was not easy or fun to figure it out on your own. When the chain broke, I contacted the seller and was told to bring the bike to a bike shop to have it fixed. This was not an option. The seller sent me a new chain. I had to order a chain tool to put it on. I spent an hour and a half repairing the chain. The chain falls off on the first ride. The bike is being returned. It has been a huge pain and a waste of time.

👤We bought this bike in June of 2021. We left the original review on Amazon to help other parents make better bike choices. The company reached out to us and offered a gift card to take the bad review down. That doesn't compensate us for the bike our son was unable to ride, but it does show some questionable business practices. Don't buy this bike. - There is a The bike arrived with a broken hand. I have no idea how that is possible. My husband was able to reverse them. Our son rode it for a month and then a screw and spring fell out of one hand break and the bike chain fell off every few minutes and will not stay on for anything. We discovered we were a week past the deadline. Go figure. Don't spend your money on something you don't need.

8. JOYSTAR Training Starter Bicycle Birthday

Brand: Joystar

👤My daughter is 3.5 years old, she has a 14 inch bike, she is about 37 inches tall, and she weighs 32 lbs. When we got it, we had some trouble keeping the wheels inflated, but my husband installed them and we were off and running. I was glad I bought a pump at the same time I bought the bike because by the next day we had to deflate them. I think the bike is great and the colors are great. It is sturdy and not heavy for my daughter. This is her first bike and she knows how to ride it.

👤I am very pleased with the purchase so far. It comes as advertised, it doesn't require a huge amount of assembly, and it is built well. My only complaint so far is that the training wheels are too low on our particular model, which makes it hard for my young one to ride over rough terrain without high centering the back tire. The training wheels are very sturdy, which means they are not easy to bend into shape, and they are not really adjusted by more than an inch, so ours is already on its highest setting. I haven't had a single problem with the bike, and eventually those will come off anyway! Definitely would buy again.

👤Beware of the new condition from Amazon Warehouse. There is a clear outline of what the criteria are to meet that designation. The box was damaged when I received it. It wasn't looked at at all. The front tire and brakes have been damaged. The training wheels had a neccessary nut missing. The box was damaged and it was shipped without it. It wasn't protected for transit. I'm good with bikes, I was able to fix the brakes, they were upside down, and I had an older bike that I salvaged from until replacement parts could be found. I received the bike at a lower price than a new item. I feel like the condition of the bikes was misrepresented. Extra work is required for a "like new" item instead of a bike that is just used and abused.

👤My daughter liked the basket and the ride on the bike. The bike was easy to put together, the packaging was good, and all the pieces were delivered. The bikes chain fell off after a day of riding. I noticed that the cranks were lost while I was trying to fix the chain. I tried to tighten the cranks with a crank nut, but it didn't work. I had to tell my daughter that her bike was broken as she watched. We would have to return it. Very sad. She was so happy to get to ride a bike with her brothers, she was so proud of herself. The product has received good reviews and we hope that the issue is a simple case of someone in the production chain not paying enough attention. If we can't find a similar bike with similar reviews, we will try again with this product. The product is easy to assemble and we rated it 4 out of 5 stars, but the fact that the chain fell off and the cranks broke the Sturdiness category received 1 out of 5 stars, and in the end, we paid cash for the product and the bike was not usable

Brand: Joystar

👤The bike is not as described. The one we received had white tires, a basket with a bow, and a different color seat. Our daughter loves her bike. She enjoys riding it and helping put it together. My husband is going to fix it because it seems like it makes a noise when riding. The bike did not match the picture on the post.

👤The Handle Bar is missing! There are tools that are missing. There are damage to accessories. The front tire is with a hole. There was a sad birthday for some people. TYVM!

👤My husband put this bike together. He said it was not the easiest thing to do. A lot of little parts are put together. The training wheels are the worst thing about this bike. The rider is set leaning one way of the other when they come loose with movement. My husband wanted to put lock-tite on the bolts to keep them in place, but that didn't make sense to me when the plan was to transition the training wheels off at some point. We decided to teach our child to ride a bike without the training wheels, instead of messing with them anymore. We can throw the training wheels in the garbage now that she picked them up in an hour. Win for everyone! The bike has been great.

👤The bike is cute. It wasn't hard to build over all. I bought a bike from Joystar and it didn't have all the instructions on how to build it. I had to watch a video on you tube and look closely at the bike pictures. The bike brakes had to be adjusted. They weren't working. My daughter noticed when she was trying out the bike. We were able to fix it before she left. The bike also brakes by pushing the petals back. It took about 30 minutes to do the whole thing. The bike has an adorable card for your child.

👤I bought this bike for my daughter. I got stuck on the handbrake piece, but it was relatively quick to put together. I was having a hard time following the instructions in the manual as to how to tighten and adjust the handbrakes because the brakes near the wheel seemed loose. Even though my child will be using the back pedal brakes, I figured it out. It comes with both options. I don't think it's a good idea to use the age ranges to determine the size of bike for your child. I measured her height and inseam to determine which size to get and did not go by the age range on her bike. All in all, quick to assemble, seems very study. It's pretty cute! The basket is my daughter's favorite part. She didn't want to ride the bike until the basket was attached. It didn't have a seat yet. She was only concerned about the basket.

👤The bike is nicer than the ones I could find at the stores. There is a The white/blue one looks exactly like the pictures. The packaging was good. Everything was protected. One of the bolts to attach the fender to the frame was missing. I had one that worked. The other parts were in good condition. There is a The height description is off. My daughter is 42 inches tall. I bought a 16 inch bike based on the description. It was too tall for her. Her feet are not able to touch the ground. She has to wear shoes with thick soles and her feet can barely touch the ground while sitting on the bike. She has been biking her bike without wheels. We went biking on the trails. She did well. She struggled to control her new bike and it will take more practice to get used to it. She will probably grow soon if I go with a 14 inch. Maybe a 16 inch is still a better choice. This might not be an issue if you install the training wheels.

10. Diamondback Bicycles Octane Youth Mountain

Diamondback Bicycles Octane Youth Mountain

Hl zoom 40mm travel fork soaks up rocks and roots for more control in rough terrain. Smooth shifting and six speeds are provided by the Tourney 1x6 speed drivetrain. The frame is durable and will take abuse. The package has dimensions of 48.03" L x 7.87" W x 24.8" H.

Brand: Diamondback Bicycles

👤We received a 3x7 orange bike that was described further down in the listing. The 9 year old will adjust to this before we ask for a refund. Break pads are hard to adjust to. It was lowered to one star. The handle bars don't know how to crank them down even with loctite. If not a fractured wrist, this last time resulted in a sprained wrist. The bike is being returned.

👤The bike was for my granddaughter. We ordered this one because it had a kick stand and thumb gear controls. It had neither. Send us a kick stand or change the description. I was very disappointed in that.

👤I had the adult version for over a decade, but it was stolen for my grandson. The bag/box had parts in it. Many screws, plastic hangars and reflectors are not compatible with this model. There was no kickstand included. I modified his old one. His chain kept falling below the smallest sprocket, and he complained. I have to replace the derailer cable because it was damaged at the adjustment nut. The brake cables are not the only ones that are fraying. The rest of the bike is great.

👤I knew the bike my son was going to get wouldn't have a kickstand, so I ordered it. I ordered one. The picture and description say that the bike is for myself, but the grip one is not what the description says, so I am sending it back since my kid wants a bike more than I do. The wheel leaks air out of the box and the bottle holder came bent so it was useless, so I just have it fixed. I would have ordered a better bike if I had known about the problems.

👤I gave my grandson the Diamondback on Dec 25th after buying it from Amazon. He took it outside to ride on the first non-rainy day. The internal parts of the frame became exposed when the sprocket separated from the frame. I returned the bike to get a refund.

👤The first bike that was misrepresented was the one I was going to let go, but now this is the second bike that was misrepresented, and I have to say something. I have to say something because this is the 2nd time out of 2 bikes. There is a The bike that I purchased for my son was a Diamondback and it had rapidfire shifters, not grip shifters. The bike I purchased for my daughter was the same thing as the one pictured and listed as having rapidfire Shifts but the bike arrived with grip shifts. This feels like a switch. My children are young and struggle to use the grip shifters, so it would be much easier for them to use the rapidfire shifters. The bikes appeared to come with rapidfire shifters, which was the main reason I chose them. The bikes seem to be okay. I am very upset that Amazon is misrepresenting this product. I will never buy another bicycle from Amazon again.

👤It's a cute bike, but the quality is not what I paid for.

👤For Christmas, we got this for our 3 year old. The bike is sturdy and adorable. Our daughter is very tall and the bike fits perfectly. Our daughter is obsessed with this bike. She gives her dolls rides all day. I contacted Joystar because the basket wasn't included in the box. They immediately sent a new basket and helmet for free. The basket and helmet were delivered a week ago. This bike and company is recommended by us.

👤The bike is great for beginners. We have had two other bikes that she couldn't stay on. She rode her bike to the street without needing an extra push.

👤When this arrived, I was really happy. It was well packaged. Our granddaughter fell in love with it after it was put together. Great price and product.

👤I love the bike. My granddaughter loves her bike so much that she has a seat in the back for her Stuff Monkey.

👤The bike was easy to assemble, but still had to adjust the brakes, but it was still too big for my 2 year old. She will be ready for it in the spring.

👤The seat is made of leather and has a color. It's ugly!

👤This bike is adorable. My 4 year old was happy. The baby doll seat on the back is the icing on the cake, and it looks like a fancy big girl bike.

👤Mi sobrina le encanto, la recom bastante, est sper.
