👤They fit my radrunner.
👤The name brand ones work just as well.
👤How long would they last only once?
👤It is easy to install and works. Should be.
👤Absolutely, hands down the best brake pads.
V Brake pads are universal replacement for mountain bike, road bicycle, BMX, etc. V-brake pads for the M600 and M570. The pads include cartridge style. Hardware is not included. Comes with brake pads.
👤These pads are terrible. They make a noise like the surface of sand paper. I thought this might be solved once they are broken in. This has not improved even after 200 miles of riding. I removed the pads and found metal pieces in the material. They made a horrible noise. They left ridges in my rim. I would love to have a picture uploaded. Don't buy this product. It is very unusual for the company. I wonder if they were knock-offs.
👤I would have hoped that they would last as long as possible. Someone said that they commute 10 miles a day with hills and that these pads last 6 months. That is not true. I live in Florida and commute that amount as well, but it lasts for 3 months. I wanted to get the cartridge style holder because I had the same issue with the same pads before. The bullet points at the top of the page say " Includes cartridge style pads", however, after attempting to slide the pad off, I found that these are not what was advertised. There is a There are pros. The lasts are reasonable, but not compatible with the advertised brake pads. There is a I'll post a link to an efficient system. Unless you want to change your brakes every 2 to 3 months or you only ride occasionally, don't bother with these pads.
👤I bought some good rated cheaper brakes hoping to save a little money. They don't do as well. The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten if you consider the time it takes to re-allocate your wheel and BRAKES.
👤I have to use my brakes a lot because I commute for ten miles a day in mostly urban territory with lots of small inclines and declines. I only use these pads, and they work well, and in my situation, they last about 6 months or more before I replace them. I have never had a squeal in my brakes. They're fabulous if you install them correctly.
👤A reviewer reported this. I have had these pads for a while. I'm changing them out as soon as possible. They sound like they are between the pads. The stopping power is very low. Very bad.
👤It is wonderful to replace worn out break pads. It took me several hours to install and delivery was not initially available but it was delivered in a couple of weeks. Very pleased with the results.
👤I used the penny shim to get the angle right, but I think the third party brake pads are a bit better for the Shimano V brakes. There is a problem with finding pads. They are available on line. It's hard to get quiet when you dislike brake squeal. The pads were the final solution for the front wheels. I am satisfied.
👤They were sitting on the workbench and had a chance to be installed. These are the correct pads for my bike, but they were much longer than the original ones. The installation was difficult since the pad had to be high up on the rim so it wouldn't rub the tire. These are running nice and quietly and have more stopping power than the originals.
Buy with confidence. If you have a product issue, please don't hesitate to contact them via the Amazon message system, they will do their best to solve it. BR-M355, M355, M395, M415, M416, M3050, M4050, MT200, M450, M446, M447, M465, M 475, M485, M486, M525, M575 are all for Shimano. Auriga PRO, Comp, E- Comp, HDC, and GE MINI were used. Smooth and Powerful Braking. A steel backing plate has more protection for the rotor. It's a must have item for build a mountain bike. Before placing the order, please compare the shape with your original pads.
👤I've found the best replacements for the genuine BO1S. If stock goes out, these perform better than the original design, and my local bike shop wanted $35 per axle to replace. No more! I would. The Parks tool is a good way to spread the calipers. You can buy the tool and the pads at the bike shop.
👤I replaced the pads on my bike. The old pads had very little grip. New replacements work well. The other day, I was a hood ornament on a Mercedes. I was happy with the performance. They work well in the varied conditions of my year round commute when I have a feeling metallic pads would be useless below freezing.
👤I needed to replace the brakes on my mountain bike. My kid wore out the brakes completely while he was riding it. Replacing them is easy, and you can find lots of videos on the internet to show you how. The quality of these seemed to be good, and they have lasted now, and it's better for the price if you have the skills.
👤They aren't the best, but they aren't the worst. I bought these along with the new rotors and they work for me, even though they don't meet my expectations. If you want to stop you in time, I would recommend these. They will lock up your wheels. It won't stop my front one. They do the job even though I wouldn't want that. After a few uses, they went away with just a bit of a shriek.
👤My old ones were making so much noise so I put them on my bike. These are a bit noisy but not as bad. I try to keep my brakes clean. Before you go on the trails, make sure you bed them. These work as well as any are of the highest quality. I'm happy with them.
👤The cotter pins are cheap. I wouldn't recommend it. I couldn't get these pads to grip my bike. The brands are changing.
👤Working well so far. I can't imagine why I would pay more.
👤I replaced these pads for the first time and they were a perfect match for the originals. After they were installed, they were a little noisy for the break in period, but after I took them out on a ride with lots of steep downhill, they worked perfectly and quietly.
👤There were no trumpet noises or squeaking from the work. I have no issues after 2 months of using them. There is wear on the rotor. I only use for the street.
The sram avidBB5 mechanical disc brakes are compatible with the perfectBB5 brake pads. The manufacturers sell retail packaging. With full factory warranty!
👤The quality of the discs was immediately apparent when the brake lever was squeezed. There is a If you want to remove the threaded disc brake retaining pin, you should have a number 3 metric Hex Key ready. David Arthur's well written "All You Need To Know About Replacing Disc Brake Pads" can be found on the internet. Happy days.
👤This is an important installation for my brakes. The small cotter pin can be difficult to find. Mechanics advise to not touch the braking surfaces of the pads or the rotors, so there's that as well. I have not taken it on the road yet, but I think they will be a bitbier than the original pads. That's a positive change for me. I'm ordering a new set for the box. Also: I weigh 210 in Appalachia. The previous pads lasted 4k miles.
👤Save some money and buy cheap alternatives. When the pads don't last long, you'll be back to the real ones.
👤My old pads were replaced with the same part number. It took me less than 5 minutes to swap out the pads. Quiet and reliable!
👤I had a gravel race on muddy roads. I put these pads on the day before the race and they worked great, even though they were caked with mud.
👤The pads are the perfect replacement for my mountain bike. I was able to install them in a few minutes.
👤The pads were replaced with Sintered ones. The pads refused to recline. Things changed when they were replaced with these. It was great to stop. The fit and finish were great.
👤Fit is very tight on installation, but it might help to make sure the alignment over the calipers is good from the start. The surfaces are clean after two short rides.
Their brake pads are compatible with most road bikes. The brake pads are made of shora. R55C4 is a model. R55C3 has a new version. 2 pair of brake pads and bolts.
👤It fit perfectly in my brake housing. Remove the lock screw and slide out the old brake pads to install the new ones. 10 minute home job. The photo is new.
👤I was a little worried that these would be fakes, given that the product photo and some of the reviews make it seem like they would come in an un labeled bag, but the packaging I received appears to be genuine.
👤The shoes work well. They are the same model and brand as my bike. It is a tarmac comp with Ultegra components. I am going to change them yearly at the price, instead of waiting for the pair on my bike to wear out.
👤I just started road riding again after 15 years and wanted to replace the old rubber on my bike. The brake shoes were easy to install. The stopping power has improved over the old hard pads. I only have 56 miles on them, so take this review with a grain of salt. These seem to work well if you need replacement pads.
👤The brake pads are easy to slip in the shoes and don't make noise if set up correctly. I paid the price for the assurance of quality because they are significantly more expensive than other bike brake pads. I don't have experience with less expensive pads. I expect these pads to last as long as the ones on my Trek road bike did. The rim brake pads are for aluminum wheels.
👤A great product at a great price. My bike's front brake has new pads. It is easy to assemble the fit. When applying the brake, it works well. The bike is brought to a steady stop. There is a I was very pleased with my purchase. Highly recommended.
👤The pads are in good shape. Good quality and easy to install. The retaining screws have a lot of dry thread on them, making it difficult to install. I reuse my old screws.
👤They make my bike slow down. I pull hard on the lever.
👤It would be for carbon wheels, but only for aluminum wheels. The description was wrong.
For older style bikes. Variable braking pressure and brake feel.
👤The product achieved levels of quality deficiency that were thought to be impossible. They used pencil erasers to make brake pads, which was a surprise since they thought they were only good for pencil marks. I decided to add electronic ear muffs to my safety gear check-list because of the amount of noise pencil eraser rubber that makes on steel rims. People will always know you're coming because of the pronounced banshee-like wailing of these marvels of modern engineering. Are you tired of silver wheels? Wouldn't it be nicer if you didn't have to buy some black stuff? Wishing no more. These little wonders are so soft, they're guaranteed to leave jet black skid marks on your rims, producing that modern abstract art we all adore. If you like being almost thrown from your bike by the thought of even tapping the brake lever, then these pencil erasers are for you. There is black rubber on the rim that needs to be removed with gasoline and rags. *
👤The price per large volume was the reason I chose these pads. That was a mistake. The pads I received were not in line with the description or photos. I've tried chromed steel a number of times, and they don't work very well, so I removed them and used other pads. They are not like those shown with three separate sections. These are thin with 1 cm of material and shallow to no grooves. The material is too soft. They don't come with a washer or enough thread to add one, though it seemed long enough to secure to the brakes. If I can figure out how to take a photo on this buggy website, I can see that the thread length is shorter than the nut width. Some pads came at different angles. The material composition is causing excessive noise. If you ride many miles they will calm down. Quality pads should perform. If you are in a third world country, I wouldn't recommend anyone use those.
👤The old Dura-Ace calipers had pads. The studs are too short. I had to use loctite on the threads top to make sure they didn't fall off. Otherwise okay.
👤The rubber is too soft, which makes it feel squishy at the handlebars. They leave marks on the rooms, even better then and correctly adjusted.
👤The threaded attachment is only about 8mm long. The other brake shoes are usually 11 to 12mm long. The attachment only allows for a few threads to be engaged. I will not buy this brand again.
Each piece of v brake pad comes with a piece of a nut and a piece of spacers. For the following series: Auriga Series, Aquila Series, HDC 300 & 330, and Mira. There are 2 pads for sold per wheel. For use on the front or rear of the vehicle.
👤The brake pads are not what they are advertised to be. On the Amazon listing, it says they are semi-metallic, but you can find organic compound brake pads on the website. They may or may not be good brake pads in their own right, but that is not what was advertised and paid for.
👤My Trek Marlin 5 has the HD-275 brakes. They gave good stopping power, given my weight. The front was crisp and the rear was a little softer. The performance of the pads has always been good. I rode the summit at Schweitzer ski resort this summer and the brakes never faded or made much noise, only a little squeak on the bottom of extended runs at moderately quick speed. The bar grip on rock gardens and technical sections was less sure because of the lack of stopping power on my levers. After changing the brakes on my brother's bike to the MT200's, I found his levers gave much better feel and power than my stock hydros, and as a bonus, the E10.11 pads are a direct fit in the Shimanos as well. I swapped my Marlin for the MT200s and the E10.11 pads gave me the power and feel to get me slowed down, even on the toughest and fastest hills, with just 1 finger. Are they the top-of-the-line brakes? Definitely not. They are hard to beat for value in a general-purpose all-mountain/trail brake pad.
👤I replaced front and rear pads on my e bike. The set had 2 pads in it. The other set only had a single pad, and the package looked like it had been cut open. I returned the second pack and asked for a new one. There is a The third package had only one pad. The package looked like pack #2. The fine print said "discontinued by the manufacturer". I'm returning pack #3 and asking for a refund. Don't waste your time on these because there are a lot of other pads on the market.
👤The pads I got are the E10's not the A10's, which is fine since the E's work better. The breaking performance is smooth and excellent, I was getting noise from the fronts but not with these. The material they are made from works well with my style. I was not sure if these would work with my disks since my bike came with the A's installed, but now I think they should have been installed to begin with. How long will they last? There is a They come with the springs.
👤The brakes are great, quiet, durable, and wet or dry. I ride down a lot of big hills on a heavy Class 2 electric bike. I came back to these because they were the perfect replacement for me. Highly recommended! I'm on the 3rd or 4th set.
👤The pad was ruined because there wasn't enough room to re install the wheel rotor. I lost the bolts holding the caliper in place. One time use of the brakes is what causes them to be thrown away. I will be replacing the whole system with a new one.
Disc brake pads have a good braking effect and are free of harmful substances. The Brake Pads for the Disc Brakes are in need of replacement. Excellent traction properties result in excellent wet braking performance. The P20.11 Disc Brake Pads have features. The Airfinn is not compatible with the Radiator Airfinn. The contents are in a 2 pack.
👤A10.11 pads have a superior performance replacement. No need to replace the rotors unless they are warped or damaged, simply clean them with greaseless solvent and dry them with soft cloth before installing new pads. You can squeeze the brake lever while you tighten the bolts. Make sure your brake lever is blocked so that it isn't accidentally actuated, or that it isn't causing a leak.
👤My pads werebedded to a different compound. There were deposits on the rotors and brake thumping when these metal ceramic pads were installed. I got the same thumping after a lot of cleaning. Tech service from the manufacture needs to be changed if a different compound is installed.
👤When I first got it, my brakes were the same as they are now. I was using a computer. It is still thick. I thought I should bleed my brakes, but it didn't solve the problem. There is a After installing the P20.11, cleaning my rotors with rubbing alcohol, and bedding the new brake pads, my brakes are working again as if they were brand new. The pads don't make noise. The brakes would fall apart from the fork because of the stopping power of the pads. I fell in love with my old bike again after being impressed. I bought a bleed kit as well, so I could use it in the future, but I wish I had these pads sooner.
👤I had new brakes on the Himiway bike, but they didn't sound good. The back was grinding and there was squeaking. I tried to clean them. It didn't work. The breaks are almost silent now that I put these on. If I hit it hard enough, I can still hear a tiny squeaking, but it's nothing that will break the squeak spray for cars. I think they are as good as it gets for breaking. The feel is also included.
👤If the outer shoe slips down too low, it can be difficult to remove the old brake shoes, so try to keep a good grip on both shoes. You will need to push the two pistons back into their cylinders in order to make room for the thicker shoes. If you have a large flat-blade screwdriver, this isn't hard. Just slip it down between the pistons and you will get a couple of twists. They are tough. It is important to not jiggle the BRAKE LEVER until the shoes are replaced. If you do, you will need to push those pistons back into place. It's a thing to do. I think it will take a few rides to get these shoes to grab. Before I replaced the shoes, I cleaned the brakes with alcohol. It works well too.
👤I own a Juiced Bikes Crosscurrent S2. It came with the organic compound brakes. Even though they were new, they were noisy with both types of sounds. The bike brakes are even better now that I have swapped them for the P20.11 pads, and they are no longer making strange noises. The upgrade to everyone is highly recommended.
The Semi-Metallic IOX brake pads are made up of high quality copper fibers and organic material that are bonded together with a material that is stable, durable and a good initial bite. The steel back plate has good heat dissipation. Their Semi-Metallic disc brake pads are easy to install and ideal replacements for one bike's front and rear. The IOX Semi-Metallic bike brake pads are quieter but wear out faster than metallic pads, they have less power, and you have a comfortable braking feel. The IOX Semi-Metallic brake pads have low disk wear, which makes them a good choice for protecting your disk.
👤Adequate for my bike. I had to remove the metal base and stems to make it fit the brake calipers. I used locktite to hold the pads.
👤Hope they last.
👤The brake pads are great. I will buy them again when it's time to replace. Will be telling everyone where they can get some.
👤They arrived quickly and worked well for my bike.
👤I have been in the bike industry for 15 years and these are just as good as the original. User error is the most common reason for negative reviews.
👤I think they are good for the price. They work.
The HD-M520, M510, M500, M701, HD-M352, M350, M351, M330, M301, M336, HD-M290, M291, HD-T520, T-E are all compatible. The back plate is semi-metallic. It's free. The feeling of smooth and powerful braking is pleasant. Adapted for daily use. It's compatible with the M515/M525/M465 and the M465/M475. The Spyre is called the TRP HY/RD. The package includes 2 pairs of pads and springs.
👤I used the pads on my bike. After a few miles, the stopping power was amazing for non-hydraulic brakes, even though I was unimpressed immediately after installing the pads. The stock pads have been improved. I will be replacing them for about 800 miles because they are a soft compound. They are wearing clothes fast. There is a The 700-800 mile wearout estimate has proved to be dead on, as I'm on my 2nd set now. It is easy to replace the disk brake.
👤I replaced the stock pads with these. I cleaned the rotors with alcohol and then sanded them with 220 grit paper. I cleaned the rotors and installed the pads. I gently broke them in by applying the brake softly and stopping a few times. I went for a ride with my friends the next day and I was scared off of my bike for the first time. How embarrassing! There is a Just before the stop, it happens. I replaced them with the pads from the same company.
👤It's a great deal for $5 a pop. Don't expect them to last as long as the pads that came with your disc brakes. The pads are comfortable. A bit of noise is expected after a while. There is a They worked great for my TRP mechanical disc brakes, but wear out quickly. I had a lot of stopping and slamming on the brakes.
👤The brakes on my mountain bike were loud. I looked for a replacement set and found many options. I randomly selected these after trying to figure out what would work in my situation. I was very happy with my brakes. The stopping power has improved. If I get a year out of them, I will be happy with the huge improvements over the stock pads.
👤The bike was using the TRP Spyre brakes. I think these pads are better than the oem's at a better price point. I will buy these again. I was completely satisfied after I settled on the brand and brake pad composition. I gravel ride in mountainous areas where the roads are covered with stone and very fine dust. The entire bike is covered in fine dust and it has no issues with braking power. Good solid braking and no noise. Will buy again.
👤The pads are loud no matter what I do. Since I got the bike, I have replaced them at least twice. They were installed and bedded as usual. After 250 miles on mixed surfaces, it doesn't sound as good as the original.
The brake performance was remarkable. You can apply to all weather types. You will get 4 pairs of brake pads and a piece of disc brake adjusting tool. It's compatible with: M525 M515 T65 M465 M454 M465 M447 M446 M45 M40 M45 The material is semi-metallic and has good anti-wear and heat dissipation. Their products have passed strict inspection and are free of harmful substances. The feature is fine appearance, good braking effect, noiseless, safe, stable, comfortable and convenient.
👤These worked well, but were almost completely gone in a week. I average 15 miles a day in the rain, it is a rain-forest, and I use my brakes a lot, but they worked well in the rain. This was the fastest I have ever worn through a set of brake pads. If the next round does better, I will be buying replacements from other brands to get them in the mail as soon as possible.
👤This is the first time I've purchased from this company. When I ordered the brakes online, I didn't know how long it would take or if they would fit my trike. The price was half that of a typical bike shop, and it fit perfectly. I will order again.
👤These worked out great and were worth the money. A+.
👤These don't fit the BR-M446 brakes. The required thickness is 3mm.
👤It's easy to install and it's priced right. Does the job!
👤I liked the price and they were what I pictured. I used them for my bike.
