1. Avid Speed Bicycle Brake Graphite

Avid Speed Bicycle Brake Graphite

The vehicle BRAKE PAD is a product. The handle is designed to bend in a crash so that it doesn't damage the lever body. Reach Adjustment makes it easy to adjust your brake and shift lever for the perfect fit and feel. The perfect balance between power and modulation of your linear pull rim or mechanical disc brakes can be determined with the Speed Dial. The levers are suitable for both the right and left handlebars. All levers are compatible with mechanical disc brakes.

Brand: Avid

👤This set of brake levers is my favorite set of these. These can be standard on my trike. I've owned a lot of bikes with different brakes. It seemed like a joke that there was a brake called the Tektro, which was so poor it was worse than rim brakes. Road bikes have poor brakes but do function when needed. This review will only be limited to my SD-7's and Shimano Hydraulics. There is a I've swapped between the two on my recumbent, with the one with the AvidBB7's and the one with the SD-7 levers. The avid's are one of the best cable disk brakes on the market, and the Shimano is one of the best hydraulics on the market, at a reasonable price point. The Shimano's have a great feel. I was inspired to brake later into corners. The 888-282-0465 The levers can be adjusted to change the lever position and cable pull position. This helps the lever achieve better modulation than any other lever I've used. The levers are the right size for mountain biking. You could use all your fingers on the SD-7's, but the Shimano's only had a few finger levers. The power advantage of the SD-7's over regular brakes is given by this. The red knob on the cable pull position allows you to adjust the mechanical advantage you get by the levers. They work great when I leave mine at the highest advantage position. The SD-7's and Hydraulic levers are very similar. The set ups work very well, although I prefer the small ones. The SD-7's are the best at replicating hydraulics, but they aren't the same. It was very good. The levers make cable actuated brakes perform better than regular levers by giving the user increased leverage. I have also installed a set of levers on a road bike. Power and stopping are different during the day and night. The extra money spent on the FR-5's is well spent. The dollar difference is made up by the adjustment knob. You will be happy with the levers on the cable brakes.

👤I had a mountain bike with integrated levers. The entire system was deleted and replaced with modern components. The brake levers were a great addition to my build. It is fully adjusted. Light. They look great. The levers work with either cable or disc brakes. It will not work with hydro- BRAKES. Highly recommended.

👤I was told that my mechanical brakes would be amazing if I used my original levers. I have a calipers. I had the red knobs adjusted so they gave them a hydrolic feeling. They feel sluggish if they are all the way on one side. If you turn them the opposte way, they will lock up quicker. I'm still calling them. I paid 20 dollars to have them installed. Is it possible that I would buy them again? Probably. They definitely increased my confidence. If you have a lower end lever, it will make a difference.

2. Brake Disc Avid Mech Orotor

Brake Disc Avid Mech Orotor

The size of the Rotor is 160 millimeter. The innovation is revolutionary. That performance is second to none. The ultimate ride is achieved.

Brand: Avid

👤These work well as replacements. I swapped my Wife's disc brakes for mechanical ones. The description says it does not have a hardware component. If you are replacing the calipers, you will already have the hardware and the brackets, even if the picture shows a non-existent one.

👤The brake mount on my Motobecane Outcast Uno was not compatible with the disc due to the front fork not being welded correctly. Poor pad contact and poor braking were caused by this. The local bike shop told me that the only solution was to re machine the mount. The calipers save the day there. The Tri-align feature allows for proper pad alignment even with poorly aligned mounts. My enjoyment of this bike has gone up a lot. If others are wondering the same thing, here's the answer: You don't need new brackets. Your bike has the correct brackets. The bolt pattern of the old calipers should match the new one.

👤The default brake for this level is theBB5s, which are the most common basic level brake. It should be on its way to retirement, but if you need to replace one, this came to me new and for a decent price. It is difficult to tune perfectly, but that is part of the deal with these.

👤I thought the mounts were shown on the picture, so I ordered two of them. I can't install them because they came in good condition, but without the mounts. They are the right size for my nail trail. I would have given a 5 star for now.

👤Not as advertised! The package was not included with the mounting hardware and did not come with the bolts for the rotors.

👤It did not have the mounting that was advertised.

👤It worked out perfect. I am back on my bike.

👤Simple install and easy to adjust. The brakes have solid SRAM inside.

👤I needed a brake caliper that I could rely on after a dramatic failure on a downhill run in the rain, which resulted in me bailing from my out of control bike and landing in a hedge. I have no regrets about choosing the Avid 55 caliper, after much research and recommendations from other leisure cyclists. It fit easily, was easy to align and works as it should. The organic brake pads I replaced with the best downhill braking performance in wet weather are not supplied, but I learned a valuable lesson when I extricated myself from the hedge. I replaced the calipers on other bikes after using these, and from now on, I will avoid the cheapies on budget bikes. Highly recommended and replacement pads are easy to find.

3. AHL Bicycle Semi Metallic Brake Pairs

AHL Bicycle Semi Metallic Brake Pairs

Quiet and excellent braking in wet and dry conditions. The performance is long lasting. The brake disc can be protected with the best semi-metal material. Smooth and compact braking. If you're not happy with their products, they'll give you a return, replacement or refund.

Brand: Ahl

👤They need to write a book about mountain biking. Maybe I'll write it in about 5 more years. I didn't know that chain lube could cause problems with disk brakes. It helps a little bit but not completely. I didn't know how to put in the spring so it was hard to install. You need to hook one of the springs on to a disk, then carefully place the outside disk and brake housing on it, and check to make it work. To test ride, spin tire to make sure it turns, then adjust the inside disk with the center allen wrench hole. The installation could take as little as 10 minutes if you understand how the spring works.

👤I got these for a friend. I told him I'd get his bike stopped again because the pads that were on there didn't work in the back or front. These were easy to install in his mechanical calipers and now he can skid his tires in the dirt. I had to change the position of the caliper because they are a bit thick. I have 4 left for a change and the value was great.

👤The pads are the same size as the ones on my bike. The pads are large and you may have to grind them down a bit before installing them. It's important that you break in the pad gently and that you install the first one first. I'm very happy with these pads, they are half the price of the others on Amazon, and so far they work well.

👤I haven't experienced brake fade yet, but I had to file the pads down so that they fit into the calipers, the pad compound works great, I haven't experienced brake fade yet, but I had to file the pads down so that they fit into the calipers, the pad The two sets I ordered were thicker than the factory pads. I thought this was a good thing until they wouldn't fit in the caliper so I had to file them all down. I would give it a 5-star rating because I didn't have to work so hard to get them evenly filed down.

👤The size of the material on these brake pads matches that on the official pads. Replacing the pads restored my stopping power. If I find that these pads don't wear well or fail early, I will update this review. The price was unbeatable.

4. Pairs Bicycle Compatible Shimano Alfine

Pairs Bicycle Compatible Shimano Alfine

It's compatible with the XTR M965 M966, Saint M800, and other brands. You will get 4 pairs of brake pads for easy and timely replacement and extended service time. The bicycle brake pads are made of a material that can reduce the initial bite time, shorten the run-in period, and reduce the noise. The quality cycle brake pads have good heat resistance, are easy to install, and are free of harmful substances. The bike brake pads have a fine appearance, good braking effect, noiseless, wear-resistant, stable, comfortable and convenient. These brake pads are compatible with other brands. T605

Brand: Boao

👤For the price expectations, my replacement cable pull hydraulics only lasted about 7 months on flat terrane. These have barely made it two. The performance was good, but terrible. The front and rear were only used for full stops. The rear is useless and the front is fast. Time to order something better for the witch.

👤It's fine for regular riding on the level streets. There is a I ride it down Chestnut Street in San Francisco from the top of Russian Hil. The blocks are steep. The pads expand after the third block. The tire is locked up by the brake. The space between the brake's pads and the disc was provided by the loosened adjustment screw.

👤The title implies that these are compatible with the Deore XT brakes. They don't. The listing needs to be edited.

👤They are doing well if I put them on my bike. This type of pad is vastly superior to S0-1 type pads and brakes, even high end ones.

👤These have been the best break's I've tried out and they work great.

👤These pads work great. I tried a lot of different companies and types. They will stop you.

👤The quality of the building is bad, but they are affordable and the stopping power is good.

👤They work well, use them to replace the brakes on my bike, and they did the job.

👤I bought these for my friend. The brakes were useless and incredibly noisey after the accident. The pads are an ideal replacement for the originals. If you're replacing due to contamination, make sure you clean the rotors before you start.

👤I swapped out the old for the new and am still going strong.

👤Really loud. Have tried cleaning with alcohol. There is water. There is sandpaper. Nothing works.

👤Does the job well.

5. Dymoece Pairs Organic Bicycle Mechanical

Dymoece Pairs Organic Bicycle Mechanical

The package includes 2 pairs of pads and springs. The pads are made of organic resin and have powerful braking. Disc-friendly, organic less noise, and high- safety. The performance was exceptional at high temperature and wet. The brake pads aredurable and excellent power modulation. The sram avidBB5 mechanical disc brakes are compatible with the perfectBB5 brake pads.

Brand: Dymoece

👤It is very easy. There is a The last time I paid for a bike, it was $94. I decided to become self-sufficient. There are a lot of good videos on the topic. The brake tensioning nuts should be adjusted by the brake levers. The bike should be turned upside down. Remove the wheel. The brake caliper is held to the bike frame or fork by two nuts. Push the silver clip and two brake pads out of the big slot side of the caliper with a screwdriver. Place the silver spring tension clip between the brake pads. There is a If you want to slide them into the large slot side of the brake caliper, lightly compress them. Make sure the clip is still engaged in the two depressions on the disc brake pads and seated up in the small opening where the old clip was. There is a The disc brake pads are pulled away from the rotor by the spring. There is a As you tighten the bolts on the front fork or the rear frame, lightly squeeze the brake handle to pinch the rotor. There is a The discs need to be in the right place so that the pads don't pinch on the rotor. Stand the bike upright, tighten the brake tensioning nuts up by the brake handle, and then back them off just a little to where you don't hear the rotor rubbing on the new disc pads. There is a You are done. There is a You are free from the mechanic for the disc brake pads. There is a When you notice that your brakes are not stopping you as quickly as you would like, you can adjust the wheel on the spoke side of the caliper to bring the inside brake pad closer to the rotor.

👤"You get what you pay for." I know why these pads were cheap. They were made to low standards. Most of the metal is paint and not metal. The edges are jagged. I had to tighten my cables and close the gaps like I would half-worn pads because the pads material is half as thick. The clips are weak. I used my old clips because they held the pads tighter. These pads give me a good grip on my brake disks. Despite the quality issues, they do work. I don't think they will last very long. I haven't used my brakes yet. I don't know if they'll work in the rain or mud.

6. Pairs Organic Resin Bicycle Mechanical

Pairs Organic Resin Bicycle Mechanical

These brake pads are compatible with other brands. T605 Low noise, low dust, disc-friendly, and high-safety are some of the qualities of the brake pads. Powerful and comfortable braking. A short break-in period, durable and long working life. The performance was exceptional at high temperature and wet. It is compatible with the sram avidBB5 mechanical.

Brand: Corki

👤The main point is that they work but have a few minor issues. There is a I had to sand and file down the pads in order to fit them into the brakes that I have, I think you should get more for the price. Since people can hear me coming, it works on the plus side. You can hear them, but it's not loud. They stop just as well as the original pads. The bike shop sells a lot of things, but less than half the price makes them a good deal.

👤The brakes have made my bike sound better. There is a I only had to file down the pads the smallest amount. They would fit through the slot that the pads go into. I wouldn't have been able to install these if I didn't have the file. I decided to go with the higher metal content as I'm a bit heavy at 190 lbs.

👤I fear that the thicker pads used byBB7 may be too thick and have to be grinded down. I gave the faces a slight lick with 120 grit sandpaper, because I saw they were shiny. With the bike off, cable disconnected, a clean, and the backing screw open, the pads dropped into place. The Brand-X seems to be the same as any of the others. I don't know how long these last on my dirt roads.

👤Read reviews about how bad it could be. The pads didn't fit and I had to sand them down to fit. I got these pads even though I ignored all of that. There is a The pads didn't fit my caliper and had to be sanded to fit. There is a Fact: These pads are the best I have ever encountered. There is a Fact: I have improved my braking power. There is a Fact: I won't buy these again because of the reviews about noise and fitment.

👤The work is better than the brakes. A bike stops. It does require a bit of skill to adjust the brake position and cable. These, but. They work great when you dial it all in.

👤I've been riding the pads for a week now and they're nice, work well, and quiet, which was a plus, and they're well built. I hit them with a mallet because they wouldn't fit into the caliper and they went in fine. Other people say they filed it down, but for me it just needed a nudging. I don't know how long these will last, but I recommend them to anyone who wants good brakes.

👤The Cannondale Synapse is about five years old. My rear break pads were ruined. The replacement pads fit my Promax-Render-r correctly. I have a spare set for the next emergency after ordering the Twin Pack.

👤The pads have stoping power that I liked. I didn't like the fact that I had to modify them by grinding some material off so that they would fit the brake housing. There is a One pad fit without modification and the other three needed work.

7. Compatible Mechanical Decipher Dualtron Render R

Compatible Mechanical Decipher Dualtron Render R

The organic brake pads are quieter but wear out faster than metallic. You'll get 4 pairs of bike disc brakes, a convenient and timely replacement, and a longer use time. Disc friendly, low noise, stability, good high temperature performance, and wet performance are some of the benefits of the Resin brake pads. It's suitable for most weather conditions and terrain conditions. Disc brake pads have a good braking effect and are free of harmful substances. Disc brake pads have a good braking effect and are free of harmful substances.

Brand: Boao

👤Also fit for the Jetson Pro Bolt scooter. New Clips must be used in the package. These brake pads are compatible with nee clips. Jetson brand Pro Bolt E scooters have functional clips.

👤A quiet pad for general use. I wouldn't recommend for mountainous use if it was possible to fade from high heat.

👤Product worth a lot of money. Works as advertised. The store's customer service was top notch and they were able to help with a small issue with my package. The issue was resolved and the customer was happy. Will do business again.

👤The pad set is better than the hardrock.

👤This is too large to be installed for dualtron ultra.

👤They didn't fit my bike. I grinded them smaller. They work well.

👤They seem to be doing well so far.

👤You use the pads quicker than I did. It doesn't matter if you swap out old for new.

8. Alritz Mountain Bicycle V Brake Blocks

Alritz Mountain Bicycle V Brake Blocks

It is possible to make charming decorative statements for any backyard, lawn or garden with the help of the BLKWHT burlap garden flags. It is made of high-quality nitrile rubber, wear-resistant, and does not hurt the rim, so that you can say goodbye to the harsh noise, and every time you brake is so comfortable. If there is a sound after installation, please adjust the installation position. The "LIMIT" word is a reminder to replace the brake pads to prevent accidents. The raised rubber text won't be washed away by rain and soil. The long service life is mentioned. The brake pad can be used 8000-10000 times when the speed is 12.5KM/H. The curved design fits the radian of the tire better. The drain boxes on the brake pads help stop the bike's power in the worst weather conditions and the grooves help drain water and indicate wear. It's comparable with all of the V-shaped systems. It's compatible with most mountain bikes. There are 3 pairs of 70mm pads in the set. It is more convenient to have left and right distinguishing signs.

Brand: Alritz

👤I care about what I put on my bikes. I'm happy with the feel of the pads. Smooth, firm, and quiet. The low quality finish on the conical washers added resistance to slipping, despite the fact that the machining finish is not beautiful. This is not an issue once they're installed. There is a pro-install tip. The trailing end of the pads should be positioned a bit away from the rim using a rubber band or folded business card. The "toe-in" technique helps to smooth and quiet break. If you need to replace your pads, make sure to replace the brake cables as well. Couple of bucks on Amazon. There is a There are three sets of pads, one set more than you need for a bike. Get enough pads for 3 bikes by buying 2 sets.

👤I got these for my cyclocross bike that I was fixing up last winter to use as a secondary bike and to try off-road riding this fall and winter. During the spring and summer I rode on the road for 15-20 miles per ride, and this fall I have been doing gravel riding for an hour or two each week. They wore down a bit over the summer, but held up well. The performance was okay initially, but it decreased as they wore. They did not last long after I stopped riding off the road. The spare set included in the package only lasted a couple of weeks after the back set wore out. They had a decent amount of material left on them, but both the front and rear set wore down in a matter of minutes. I'm not sure if they were meant for this type of use, but I am surprised how quickly they wore out. Without the cross race, they wouldn't have been usable. There is a If you want to ride light road, rail trails, or similar types of riding, I think these will work just fine, but they'll probably wear out faster than name brands, and the braking isn't as good as higher quality pads. I can't recommend them if you want to ride more competitively, or if you need to rely on the brakes a lot. I don't fault them for not holding up in how I used them, but at most can only give them 3 stars as a cheap set of brakes with "just okay" performance at their best.

👤I bought this for my son's mountain bike because I thought it would be a nice upgrade from the cheap ones. I was not happy with the performance of the brake pads. I got pink pads because I ordered red. My son pointed out that it looks nothing like the pictures. The pads quality looked okay at first, but man took 30 minutes to install and adjust all of them. We went for a bike ride and came back. There was pink dust on the bike rim. That was only 2 miles and wore out? I should have listened to the reviews about how to wear out quickly. I went to a local bike shop and bought Clark's brake pads for his bike, which was a day difference. Buy better quality if you spend that extra money.

9. Pairs Tektro Shimano Br M575 DP B01S

Pairs Tektro Shimano Br M575 DP B01S

If you want to read the text on the brake pads, leave the left and right ones. The pads are for the initial bite. The short break-in period isdurable. Disk wear is low and the feel is comfortable. Smooth braking offers power. Compared to metal pads, the brakes make less noise.

Brand: Corki

👤I hit the boys with a slap and then hit the trail to hit me. A big wet rock. The brake pads were locked up and I was able to slide even more out of control, into a bush. I found several hundred ripe blackberries. After picking my self out of that mess, I kept riding and the salty tears stinging my lacerations. The brake pads worked well for the rest of the trail and are a good buy for the price and depression. Thanks!

👤The material for the brakes is much thicker than stock pads or any other compatible brand. The pad surface rubs continuously on the rotor even with the pistons on my TRP Spyres dialed all the way out. There is not enough adjustment at the mount. It's odd that the TRP units are a bit thinner. I think the fit would be non-functional if you have the same type of rotors. If you're riding and racing in muddy winter conditions, the Swiss Stop 15 is the best Spyres I've found so far. The Swiss Stop units are expensive and hard to find, but they perform beautifully and last longer than any pads I've tried. Don't use these generic pieces of crap. They seem to have been made in a factory run by people who don't know how bicycle disc brakes work.

👤I ordered the pads because they work well on the downhill stretch of my commute. The pads have a lot of material so right from the start, the pad was dragging on the rotor even though my calipers were pressing all the way back in. I was going to belt sand off but ended up using my old brake rotors to clear the pads. After the pads stopped dragging, I put on my new floating rotors and bedded the brakes in again. The bike is 70 lbs. The pads have to stop a lot of mass for me to be able to play. The ability to change the brake lever was traded. The new pads and rotors meshed well after 2 days of commute and I am happy with my braking power. If the pads had. I would have given them a 5 star rating. The brakes on my e-bike are the HD-E350s.

👤The factory brakes on my Specialized st are not impressive. It was not a good idea to single finger brake. I was going to throw a new set of pads instead of spending 100s on new brakes. Wow! The pads do exactly as advertised, with lots of initial bite and dirt not phase them. I can now brake with one finger. I have put 500 miles on these brake pads and they perform the same as they did when I installed them. I have 100s more rough miles to put on these due to the extra material that others complain about. If you're thinking of buying these pads, just buy them. At 15 bucks, you can't go wrong.

👤I bought these for a Fuji Absolute 1.9 bike that uses a low end mechanical disk brakes. The pads immediately gave a better feel with less noise than the original pads. After removing the old pads, I noticed they still had a good amount of material left, and I probably could have adjusted them before replacing them. The pads had a new cotter pin, spring shim and a longer one that was not needed for my bike. If I have any issues with these, I'll update this review.

10. Avid Clean Sweep Bicycle Brake

Avid Clean Sweep Bicycle Brake

The size of the Rotor is 160 millimeter.

Brand: Avid

👤As I get a chance to use the rotors, I will update this. I want to warn people that there are fake versions of this item being distributed. I received two sets of fakes after ordering from a marketplace seller. I ordered two more. There were two sets of fake Avids. They were packaged in a plastic bag. I returned them and ordered them from Amazon and received a fake and a real one. There is a The fake is a plastic box with a one direction grinding. May be. Hardware may not be included. The discs are boxed in a way that makes them real.

👤I upgraded my bike to 203mm from 160mm. I bought a Avid IS caliper adapter to make the switch. I ride in the city with a few long descents due to the hilly terrain. I'm a big guy with a heavy bike, so the larger discs were needed. The 203's barely fit, with only a small amount of clearance from the outside edge of the disc to the inside of the leg of the fork. It was just enough to clear. I could see the inside leg of my fork was being used to allow discs up to 180mm. The 203's were not easy. Before buying discs larger than 203's, you should look at your fork to see if there has been any changes made to the fork construction. The G2's were mounted onto my Centerlock hubs. The 203mm G2's work well and I feel more secure on long descents, with less fade visible at the bottom of the hill. I am using organic pads. The discs looked like original packaging. I did not use the 6 bolts because I used the Centerlock adapter.

👤It's horrible. I ordered two sets and they both were used. They were worse than my original sets.

👤The front rotor had always been off when I purchased the Crosstrail Comp a few years ago. I decided to swap it out after ignoring it for a while. Picked up a new one and it's been working great. There were no complaints. It comes with a full retail package. This is a great replacement for warped or worn down rotors.

👤I own a few of these. The one that came with the brake won't stop at lower speeds. It seems like the wheel stutters when the brake is applied. It leads me to believe that the rotor is not very flat. I think I'll try another brand because I want to like these more.

11. Zonon Pairs Tektro Shimano Br M575

Zonon Pairs Tektro Shimano Br M575

Compared to metal pads, the brakes make less noise. You will get 4 pairs of bicycle brake pads for a quick and convenient replacement. The brake pads are made of reliable material, which have better braking performance, wear resistance, and noise reduction than others, and they are not easy to change. It's compatible with: M315, M355, M515, M525. The appearance of the oil can be applied as a plate. Their products have passed strict inspection and are free of harmful substances. The feature is fine appearance, good braking effect, noiseless, safe, stable, comfortable and convenient.

Brand: Zonon

👤It's great to have some backups on hand, but I've experienced the effects of glazing, which leads to reduced grip and very loud/screeching upon braking. I broke in these pads and they were effective for a few days, but then they glazed up quickly, and I can't stand the bone rattling noise they make. The pad is completely glazed after 5 days.

👤I bought the first pair at a bike shop and paid the same as the others on Amazon. The quality is the same. It was easy to install than expected. I was surprised they didn't need to change anything. I have never had a bike with these types of brakes. I waited too long to replace. I had to constantly adjust them towards the end of their life. 1000 miles is a good point for my type of riding. Good product.

👤A warped rotor was replaced. Wear on pads. My pads were four years old. I had to change my brake line. There is a I don't think they will last long.

👤It would be great to ride a bike that is only used to cruise the sidewalks. I found that the pads will wear out in a matter of 3-6 rides. Even if it's more expensive, the pads from the bike shop last months. I get more braking with the bike shop pads. I was hoping that having 4 sets would make this better.

👤I needed new brake pads after 1000 miles on my Wallke Ebike. I should have replaced them after 600 miles. I never replaced the brake pads on the electric bike until they started to make noise. First timer learning curve. Wallke sells the entire brake assembly for $150. The little pads are easy to take out. I think I only spent 10 minutes installing the new pads. When I come to a stop, my bike no longer shrieks. I went to an electric bike shop to see why my bike was squeaking. The mechanic was selling high end pads for $40. These were only $12 for 4 pairs. Not a bad deal at all.

👤I have had the best aftermarket pads so far. Not tested in mud, just 80F on fire trails. The pads seem to need a little more pressure than before.

👤Buy the good stuff if you save your money. There was nothing in the pads. The pads I was replacing had more than this garbage. It was almost like they were selling new pads.

👤The pads are thick and will touch the rotors when installed. You just need to sand them down and they will fit. They work well after adjusting the breaks.

👤These are not funny. "Just break them in then, they're 888-270-6611 They get hotter and hotter when they rub against the disc. I'm getting on average 2 minutes a day even though it's winter. I need to get off and let the disc cool before I can continue. I have pushed my pistols all the way in and the spring hasn't bent while fitting. The tolerances are off and I need to file the other 3 sets before they go on.
