1. ProGold Prolink 16 Ounce Spray Chain

ProGold Prolink 16 Ounce Spray Chain

The package has dimensions of 9.5" H x 7" L and 4.75" W. The lubricant has a quiet drive train and smooth shifting. Does not become tacky. There are sheds with dirt, mud and abrasives. Repels humidity and protects it from the elements.

Brand: Progold

👤I don't rate a product poorly because of the shipping. The bottle was put in a USPS envelope. There was no protection around the bottle and the top was not secured with tape. When the bottle leaks, put it in a ziploc so it won't go everywhere. It only leaked a small amount, but it smells terrible. You know how it smells if you've used it. This stuff works well for me. I have to keep 6 bikes that are ridden in the mud and on wet roads. I like this stuff as chain lube. I live in a place where it rains for 8 months out of the year. In the winter, I get road dirt and mud. The road is good in the summer but not in the trail riding season. I take care of the bikes for my family. A lot of bikes. Between the weather and all the bikes, I don't want to be removing chains every 200 miles. I wipe the chains off after applying Progold. When my bike is covered in mud, I don't get all the grit out. I think a new chain is $20. I would rather replace it every 1-2 years than spend hours maintaining it. Every year, my road bike chain is replaced. I learned that lesson the hard way.

👤I ride between 3000 and4000 miles a year. I have been using Progold chain oil for a decade. I lubricate and clean the chain. I use Progold to get over 3000 miles on a Ultegra chain before it needs to be replaced. It is possible to extend chain life by cleaning and lubricating it. The cassette and crank can be extended by changing the chain when it is stretched. My last cassette had 15,000 miles on it and my current crank has over 18,000 miles. Progold is a great way to extend the life of cycling components. There is a The spray bottle is easy to use. Run the chain around several times and then wipe off excess, spraying on the inside of the chain. It's cheap compared to other chain lubes. The last bottle I used was for almost four years. It's double as a chain cleaner and lubricant. Not much to say here. It requires more frequent lubrication than some of the waxes that stick to the chain. You will pay the same price for a 3oz bottle of that as you will for a 16oz bottle of this.

👤My bike shop recommended this to me and I wondered if it was all the same. After using this on a mountain and two road bikes, there was no comparison between this and traditional chain oil. This doesn't seem to gunk up the chain like regular oil does after a few rides. When water is a factor, it doesn't seem to affect performance. You will pay more but I think it's worth it.

👤If you read the ad copy you might think that you won't have to take your chain off. Not so. I ride my bike in central Florida about 100 miles a week. I wipe the chain with a clean rag once a week. When I remove the chain and clean it in re-cycled solvent, I can see that the chain is not clean at all. I'll probably have to increase my off bike cleaning Frequency a bit, but I'll keep using it.

2. Finish Line E Bike Chain Lube

Finish Line E Bike Chain Lube

Even in coastal salt-air conditions, it protects your bike's drive train. The package has dimensions of 2.0 cm L x 6.5 cm W and 14.5 cm H. OutDOOR regeneration product Canada is the country of origin. The package weight is 3.4 lbs.

Brand: Finish Line

👤I was skeptical of an 'e-bike' lube, but was having issues with our electric cargo bike and keeping the chain effectively lubed. The lube I use for my regular bikes would not last for two days before the cargo bike chain would begin to creak. It didn't handle the higher loads well. The chain is smooth and silent after I put this lube on. Absolutely worth it.

👤I use this for a 75lb e bike. I live in a mountainous area and have a lot of hills to climb which can cause more tension on the chain but this has performed well. You should clean your chain at regular intervals. I think this chain lube is a good value for the price. You can use it on any bike chain. I have put over 1,000 miles on the chain with this. It is still going strong with minimal wear. It's hard to beat that!

👤E bike oil is better than regular chain oil. This is rated for more strength. You will notice a difference in oil longevity. If you get an e bike, you probably won't regret it.

👤I thought I would try this on my Levo. The cost is comparable to non-ebike products. Even though I apply and wipe off the excess, it builds up a gummy layer on my other mountain bikes. There is a The thin coating on this ebike lube doesn't gunk up so much. It seems to hold up well, but for me it takes 30 miles to apply a maintenance drop to each link. I've been using it in both dry and wet conditions and it's quiet and smooth. It smells good too.

👤The ebike chain has higher stress due to the mid drive motor. My mechanic recommended this lube after I completely wore through a Brose (560w) drivetrain in 300 miles. Next chain lasted 1000 miles. The chain is still within tolerance after 1000 miles of use. It is almost dry and does not attract much dust.

👤I use the procedure in "Zen and the Art of MTB Maintenance" to keep my e-bike chain clean. I clean the chain every 100 miles. I've done it three times and the fourth is a few days away.

👤The Finish Line e-Bike Chain Lube is not a product that will provide smooth gear shifting on my ebike. I had never heard of a loud clunk with bike lubricants. I applied the lube to the chain and it was a mess. The product I used created a mess and much more than other lubes, even though I expected some drips on the floor. With the clunking noises, there's nothing that will convince me that this is a quality product for my ebike.

👤I didn't think I would like it. I do. It smells like orange oil. I clean my bike when I get back from the trail. I can use this stuff and a rag to clean my bike. It smells good. I keep my bike clean.

👤There is a dedicated lube for e bikes.

3. Finish Line Ceramic Bicycle Squeeze

Finish Line Ceramic Bicycle Squeeze

The most used cycling lubrication is in the world. It was made using the highest quality ingredients. Greatly reduces bearing and drivetrain wear. A wet-style lube that stays wet for maximum performance in wet weather and long distances. For pedaling over long distances. Quiet and smooth, great for racing. The chemistry is patented.

Brand: Finish Line

👤I think it works. I don't see much difference between wet chain lubes and dry chain lubes. I've used every one of them. There is a property that tends to vary product to product. It drips off your chain. Too thick. It doesn't sink into the links. Finish Line's product excelled here. It is in the right spot. It soaks in nicely but doesn't leak. My chains always look great after a quick wash. Would buy again. * The product works exactly as advertised, the fit/finish is what you'd expect from a good value product, and it ships in retail packaging. The product works exactly as advertised, fit/finish are what you'd expect, it might have a minor flaw, or it ships in undisclosed non-retail packaging. Product works great but differs from description, so I would change a few things. It's barely works but can be useful if you try 1 STAR. It is a waste of money if it is useless and does not perform its intended function.

👤This stuff is amazing. My ebike has a day and night difference. I use an Ultrasonic cleaner first. You will have a clean and smooth drivetrain when you apply this lube. After the initial application, it stays clean and you can keep applying lube until you feel the chain needs another deep clean.

👤I haven't received my ceramic wet jug yet. It is being delivered at the end of the review. Here is my opinion on this product. I am familiar with "Ceramic Technology" because I use ceramic cartridge bearings in all of my wheel hubs, rear derailleur pulley wheels and any component that I use on my "Custom Built" black 2012 Catrike 700 Racing Recumbent. When I saw that there was a lube with "Ceramic" properties added in it, it was a "NO BRAINER" for me. My regular wet lube does the same thing on my Wipperman 10-speed "Gold/Brass" colored chains as it does on my (3) Wipper, and I am waiting on my Wipper. The Catrike 700 Racing Recumbent is a "Black" color and I called it "The Black Widow" so I decided to set it up with the Wipperman Connex. Since the last review of this product, the Catrike 700 Racing Recumbent requires at least three 114 link chains for the "Drivetrain". My personal evaluation is here. This is the best lube for the Chaina and Drive system. My experience with my drive system was that it was more Quartier/less noisier and did not need a lot of lubrication. I use a Syringe that is designed for filling printer ink cartridges, and I also use a drop of lube on the chain and on my other component on my Trike. The Finish Line Wet Ceramic was easy to clean off of my hands and Trike/Recumbent components. After every ride, I wash and lubricate my Catrike 700 Racing Recumbent, so that it is ready for the next ride. I get comments from other Cyclists on how clean my rig is. The Finish Line Wet Ceramic Lube is light and not heavy like other lubes on the market and it does exactly what it is advertised to do. I highly recommend this lacing for any cyclist who likes to keep their bikes in tip top shape.

4. ProGold Xtreme Chain Lube 4 Ounce

ProGold Xtreme Chain Lube 4 Ounce

You can clean secondary wheels. The package is 15.24 cm long. The package width is 3.81 cm. The package is 3.81 cm high. The product is outdoor rejuvenation.

Brand: Progold

👤I love this stuff. I switched to the normal version of this lube a year ago after being turned on by my LBS. I think this stuff is a bit higher than I was looking for. I look for a lube that will keep my chain quiet on long rides. I've tried everything, and the only thing that worked was Purple Extreme. I think they changed their formula to make it seem thinner. The old purple extreme was very long-lived and this stuff reminds me of that. After only 30 miles in the mtns, I don't like a dry, squeaky drivetrain. lube has to perform for me in all conditions, no excuses, I don't care if I rode through a river or mud. This is a bill that Pro Gold Extreme fits very well. I refuse to buy it from REI because my LBS doesn't carry it, so I get it on Amazon. Even if you think your magic lube is the best, it's not compared to ProGold X.

👤The best lube is available. I've tried them all and this is the type A bike racer. After a ride, wipe the chain down with a dry microfiber to remove dirt. There are two more Apply ProGold liberally to chain. Apply firm pressure to microfiber cloth on top and bottom of chain as you slowly back pedal crank again to remove dirty lube applied in prior step 4) If this is done after every ride, you can expect the quietest, lowest friction pedaling experience possible. It is not intended to be used just before a ride. Pre-ride, tire pressures are to be checked.

👤This lubricates the chain well and lasts longer than the standard ProGold, but it gets thick and greasy quickly, making chain cleaning more of a chore. The standard ProGold only lasts for about 35 miles, but it is easy to clean off, and it collects less dirt. If you want to avoid lightly cleaning your chain often, or if you want to take longer rides, stick with the standard ProGold which is excellent.

👤It's a very good lube. I've been using the original, non-extreme ProGold for many years and it's never let me down. This is a little bit thicker and adds 20-40 miles between applications, which is not as much as I was hoping for. I haven't tried it in the rain. I can't comment on that. It's just like the original blend in the summer. Good stuff, but not the original blend.

👤The Extreme version of this lube has been used by me for a long time. After a ride, you have to apply a lot. Don't apply just before a ride. I live in a very dusty area and the chain stays clean, with just a bit of build up that needs to be removed from the jockey wheels occasionally. Make sure all previous alternative lube is off the chain before using this. I've tried it both ways. Figuring out how to clean off the old alternative stuff is an error.

5. Finish Line Quality Bicycle Degreaser

Finish Line Quality Bicycle Degreaser

Under extreme temperatures and humidity, high-grade petroleum oils provide optimum lubrication. A heavy-duty bicycle chain cleaner with EcoTech Cleaner and Degreaser Concentrate. Cleaner clips directly to the chain. The three-brush rotating design and scrubber pads clean the chain quickly. A 30-degree exit angle eliminates mess. In just one minute, you can clean your chain.

Brand: Finish Line

👤This worked great during one use. Chain has never been clean. Was absolutely thrilled! There is a I discovered a design flaw. The plastic tabs that hold the clip on broke. I can hold it closed manually with a little extra effort, but there are now tiny little holes where the plastic tabs used to be, which is causing degreaser to leak everywhere. I was stupid to try this at midnight in my living room, but I was smart enough to put my bike on a blanket and degrease it.

👤I bought this chain cleaner to clean my bike's chain. The bike has a flip-flops hub. I own a seven speed that needs occasional cleaning. I bought the chain movement tool at the Amazon.com store to allow chain movement while the wheel is removed. I might use this set-up to clean my seven-speed. I might find a different way to clean it. I was warned not to use this cleaner on a bike. I should have been more careful with the reviews. I thought the Sportixx chain keeper would give me enough time to clean the chain. There is a It can be done. It's debatable whether it's worth the effort. I was able to do it, but I need to find a better way. If possible, I would like to keep my drive chain. It might be a good idea to remove the chain. I removed my back wheel, but what I did was not optimal. I attached my chain keeper to the dropout. I moved the keeper to a gap in the dropout because the chain didn't have enough slack. Not every bike has this gap. The Finish Line chain cleaner had enough slack to be attached. There are five I held the plastic jig with no handle while turning the crank. The master-link of my chain worked perfectly when it passed through the jig. Simple Green was used for my cleaning solution. Some reviewers used this, but I didn't like it. I like Simple Green for other reasons. I'll use this jig on my seven-speed and try Dawn liquid. I lubed the chain after running it through plain water. Replacing my master link with a normal link was the best answer I could come up with. The keeper was moved closer to the chain wheel with the help of a plate. It seems like a lot of work to avoid removing the chain. I will not dock stars for my mistakes. I will feel better after I use these purchases to clean my other bike's chain. I don't ride much lately.

👤The device works very well. The video and instructions don't mention how messy it can get. I made a mess of it the first time I used it. There is a Before you put the device on the chain, you need to steady your bike. If you have any oil or dirt on the cogs, remove it first. Make sure you clean outside in an area where you don't mind a little oily splatter. You should have some rags or paper towels with you when you clean the chain. Make sure you have a sink and a bar of Lava to clean your hands. The device does a great job of cleaning the chain. You need to have a place to dispose of the used degreaser solution and a place to clean the device and old rags after that. If you store your bike indoors, be sure to put a mat or rags under it. After cleaning and drying, I applied the lube and my chain works great again.

6. Finish Line Speed Degreaser 18 Ounce

Finish Line Speed Degreaser 18 Ounce

Fit type: Specific. Finish Line's degreaser is powerful and popular. A dry-style degreaser which cleans and strips everything down to bare metal and then evaporates dry. It's perfect for disc brakes. The mechanical agitation helps remove the contaminants. No rinsing or brushing required. There is a plastic safe.

Brand: Finish Line

👤The Finish Line Speed Degreaser is the fastest degreaser I have used. It's expensive ($9.99-$15.99) but it's so good. You can watch stuff come out of chains that you already cleaned. I usually start with Park Tool Chain Brite in a spray bottle and use it after to make sure everything is clean. I get 2 chain cleanings from a can. I am very picky. I know I use too much. ZEP used to make a 60% or 90% heptane aerosol quick degreaser which could be had for $8, but they removed a very high percentage of heptane in the new formula, so ZEP is no longer a choice as a substitute. I checked at least 60+ products from ZEP,WD40, automotive stores, and Liquid Wrench but could not find a similar formula. The starting fluid is a good cleaner, but it is highly inflammable and can leave oily messes thanks to upper cylinder lubricants. Go for the finish line! I need to use a chain cleaner. It is made by Finish Line and is similar to most other branded chemicals and lubricants made by the same company. The history lesson is done.

👤Very little fuss. I own a city road bike. My opinion is that your greasy grimy shit is different. It's urban greasy crud. The parking lot where I park prior to my favorite bike riding routes was sprayed over. The bike was turned upside down. The frame on the asphalt side was covered with a couple of towels to keep the spray out. The mission was accomplished. I estimated that most of the greasy gunk was wiped off. I realized that I might have to go through a whole can to get everything perfect. It's good. It isn't that good. I stopped when I felt like it. I ordered something I never heard of until I researched it on Amazon. It's calledFinish Line. The strands of floss are thick and hard to reach. It's dental floss for your cassette. Your creativity may be different. They are a 5 star+ treatment and I'll just say that since I'm not reviewing them here.

👤Maybe it was all the hype from other reviews that said this stuff is like magic - spray it on and by the time it drips off of your chain and the rest of it evaporates, your chain will be new again. That didn't happen for me. It was marginally better than a generic cheap degreaser I used before. The new Bike Degreaser is better than the old one.

👤I have been in the bicycle industry for 30 years. I have used the dry type aerosol degreaser from Clean Streak for 20 years. I was forced to make a different selection due to supply issues, and am happy I did. I like the Finish Line Speed Degreaser more. The can does a better job of cleaning than my previous cleaner did. It has a pleasant smell. There is less fluid volume in this can compared to Clean Streak. Finish Line Speed Degreaser lasts me as long as I can remember. I think it's a more effective product that is delivered with greater pressure. I have used Finish Line Speed Degreaser on many surfaces. The cleaner has not caused damage to painted, delicate, plastic, anodized, etc. Thank you later if you decide to buy some.

7. White Lightning Conditions Bicycle 8 Ounce

White Lightning Conditions Bicycle 8 Ounce

The perfect choice for riders who want the performance of a wet-style lubricant. The non-petroleum based synthetic oils are formulated to provide long haul durability without the excessive grime build-up. It works great on chains and on a lot of things. Even in coastal salt-air conditions, it protects your bike's drive train.

Brand: White Lightning

👤My bike chain is easy to maintain with the White Lightning ride all conditions spray lube. I drive a Trek dual sport 3 on and off the road and like all bikes, the chain accumulates dirt. I degrease and lubricate the chain about once a week. I use mineral spirits on a paper towel as a degreaser to get the heavy junk off the chain and it shines. The rollers need to be cleaned. This is the most important part of maintaining a bike chain and what I really like about this product is the spray version of White Epic Lightning Ride lube. I use it to loosen and wash away the dirt that gets under the rollers and the outside of the chain, so that the chain is very clean and lubricated. I let the lube go for about an hour and then wiped the excess with a paper towel. After the ride, I want the excess lube to be set up. It's about 24 hours before my next ride. This product loosens, and washes away the dirt that I can't access. We all know our bikes need lubrication. If you spray across the chain horizontally, it will blow lube all over the place. Instead, I hold the tip over the chain and use the thin plastic straw in the nozzle to gently squirt the lube downward over the rollers as I slowly crank the pedals backwards. I can see that the rollers are being washed and the dirt is being lifted. I need to make a single pass and let it set. My bike has a disc brake and if oil gets on the brakes, I can hose them up. I don't blast this stuff on my bike because I want to make sure it doesn't get on the disc brakes. I place a sheet of thin cardboard between the chain and the wheel to keep it from being sprayed. I hold paper towels under the chain to catch drips. I put some rags under the bike. I wanted to give you some ideas on how to use this product. I don't recommend blasting the stuff all over the cassette because of the danger of spatter and over spray. I recommend it to anyone interested in good bike chain maintenance because it is a great product, does a great job for me, and is a great gift. Enjoy and be safe.

👤I have tried a lot of different lubes. Clean Ride, Rock n' Roll, ProGold, Finish Line, Dumond Tech, Squirt, and White Lightning are all on top of my head. They are all good in one aspect but not in others. The ride seems to have a good balance. I have done a few double centuries after applying this product, and no one sings of chain noise at the end of each ride. I usually just apply fresh lube and wipe off the excess, no special cleaning like some other lubes require, and clean my chain once every few hundred miles. I don't see a lot of heavy rain in Northern California, but I had no problem riding 100 miles in light but constant rain with this product.

8. Finish Line Bicycle Cleaner Lubricant

Finish Line Bicycle Cleaner Lubricant

No-WAX FORMULA. Chain life for your bike can be extended with the help of the All Conditions Chain Lube. The formula won't build up inside the chain links or the drivetrain. You can ride in both dry and wet conditions with chains. A squeeze bottler of a wet-style cleaner. Penetrates and cleaning out old lube and contaminants is easy. You're ready to ride when you apply the chain when it's dry or dirty. It's perfect for cyclists and bikes that are put into storage. Commuters and recreational cyclists who want a quick one-step clean and lube formula.

Brand: Finish Line

👤I have to say that this stuff works well for me. I did very little scrubbing in the before and after photos I took. When I clean my mountain bike, I don't go for showroom quality. I used a toothbrush and some cleaner to get around the cassette. I used a rag on the chain. After cleaning around the chain, I spray a light coat on it. It is easy to keep track of and only one bottle.

👤I ride about 300 miles a month. I don't believe in a 1-step system when you combine two functions that are different. I usually use a chain scrubber filled with Simple Green liquid degreaser and Rock n Roll lube to finish it off. I decided to try the 1-step cleaner to see if it works. The chain scrubber didn't pick up all the leftover dirt. It acts like a water jet that blasts away all the dirt and debris, leaving the chain like new. I don't think it can match the lubrication of Rock n Roll, but it's pretty darn good if I have to compare it to this item. I followed the instructions and applied a second coat. I'm very happy with this product. I would apply the Rock n Roll lube as a second layer every couple hundred miles if I added this to my usual cleaning routine. I don't have to use the Rock n Roll every time. This item takes care of all the work in a single step.

👤Don't buy if you're warned. The cap is proof that it is a child. The cap instructions are formed in the cap and not a sticker, so it is my fault. I have to take the chain off because I broke the spray nozzle neck. The whole purpose of this product was lost. I don't know if it's a good product yet. If you squeeze first, it's not hard to get off the cap.

👤This isn't as good as cleaning your gear. If you aren't going for perfectness, it's much simpler and saves time. Make sure to wipe off the excess lube with some small brushes. It should be mostly dry.

👤The product is good, but the nozzle sprays too much. A comparable can of WD-40 does not. If you are trying to use it on a bicycle chain, it is a waste. The chain is flooded. There is a The cap is almost impossible to remove. You can either leave it off or use a razor blade to cut down the plastic cap so it doesn't grab the can as hard. There is a The delivery system sucks because the liquid inside is great.

👤It's quick and easy to maintain your drivetrain. I spray this stuff on after I rise the grit off. The pedals are going around smoothly. There is a It can cause black sludge to accumulate on your chainrings for several hours, so be careful where you store your bike.

👤I use my bike to commute. The bike is especially hard in the winter with all the ice, water, chemicals, dirt and salt. I use White Lightning Wash & Shine to clean the bike and then follow it up with a lubricating agent. I dripped a few drops of this into the shackles and the NY Standard U-lock opened and closed like new.

9. White Lightning Biodegradable Non Toxic 3 5 Ounce

White Lightning Biodegradable Non Toxic 3 5 Ounce

100% waterproof, crystal clear. All seals, paints, carbon fiber, seals and bearing types are compatible with non-Staining. It is non-toxic and odorless. The tube has a tip that can be trimmed to open or close the tube.

Brand: White Lightning

👤I think it's a great product. This grease is waterproof, ideal for bikes that are ridden in wet conditions. The wheel bearings and headset were removed. The Crystal grease won't be touched by the cleaner because it doesn't remove regular grease. You can use hot water and detergent to clean Silicone grease. Diluted ammonia is also recommended. I wouldn't recommend using gasoline.

👤A two year bicycle commuter who fixes everything on his bikes has a background of writer. I have been using this product for two years. There is a This grease is great for cyclists. I read pro reviews online about this grease, and they are the same as my experience with this product. This grease is very water resistant. This stuff is impervious to rain, snow, and bi weekly cleanings. There is a noticeable difference in resistance when using this product on headsets, bottom brackets, etc. Seat posts and headset stems should only be applied a small amount. Those parts will slip if you apply too much. The seat post is in place because I have a quality wolf tooth clamp that holds it in place. I wiped most of it off the seat post and it didn't slip. I have been using this tube on all my bikes, and one tube should last at least 2 years of service on your hubs, bottom brackets, and all parts of your bike. Non-toxic environmental friendly means you don't take a step back on quality, but not on this stuff. It might be the best bike grease on the market. The reviews seem to agree with this thought. It is more expensive than other greases, but it is designed for bikes. This grease will help protect your parts from wear and tear. That makes up for the difference in price. This is the best bike lube for any bicycle shop or cyclist. The first picture is a picture of the tube and my bottom brackets, the second picture is a picture of the lube on a race. This is the best bike grease you can find.

👤I was surprised by how divided the bike industry is. There is no consensus on what type of grease to use. Lots of marketing claims have to be taken with a grain of salt. White lightning seems to be an established brand. I bought this tub for use on my bike. This grease is all purpose. I would use it to grease any type of bearings on the bike because it is high quality and not too thin. There is a The grease is not sticky on your hands and you can easily wipe it off. It's a bonus if you don't use plastic gloves.

👤I am always looking for great products. This stuff is a little thicker than my other favorite Super-Lube. I use the Crystal on items that need a little more water proof. It's really sweet on cables and ball bearing applications. Threaded items that are exposed to water get this. gripes... I have a grease injection that doesn't fit in.

10. White Lightning E00196602 Easy Wash

White Lightning E00196602 Easy Wash

There is a blue brush and a red brush in the package. Cleans your bike by safely removing road and trail gunk. Can be used on a variety of surfaces. Also works on outdoor gear, including kayaks, paddleboards, hiking equipment, fitness equipment and surf boards. The conjugate-foam formula allows you to spot clean.

Brand: White Lightning

👤No worries, it works on everything. A car. A boat. There is a motorcycle. A bicycle. Plastic, vinyl, metal, glass, whatever. I love not having to wash it. I liked the spray bottle version more than the new "aerosol" version which you need to shake as you use it. I'll be happy camper if I get the old "Windex" pump spray bottle again. When you have a perfect product, stop trying to innovate.

👤I didn't think it would work without water. I was happy to be proven wrong. I wiped it off with a rag after spraying it all over the bike. The bike was cleaned and given a shine. When I use water, it was cleaned better. This product is a testament to me because I don't write reviews often. It didn't come out very strong from the can, that's the only complaint I have. I had to hold it very hard to coat the bike. It would have been better if it were like a comet.

👤I bought this product last year, but finally used it. Through the snowy and wet Ohio winter, I commute to work on my bike every day. My bike was filthy. I used this product on every part of my bike to cut through the salt on the roads. My bike is shining in the sunlight after twenty minutes and a few rags. I love this stuff.

👤I don't like this aerosol at all. The old pump bottle was easier to use.

👤Does a great job cleaning my bike.

👤Excellent product, tried many others. This one made my S-Works shine like new.

11. Tri Flow TF0021060 Superior Lubricant Bottle

Tri Flow TF0021060 Superior Lubricant Bottle

Bike grease, lubes, and bicycle oils are non-toxic and have a PTFE-Free formula. The components of their forkboost oil are stable and have no known dangerous reaction as long as installations comply with safety standards. Special add-ons prevent rust and protect it from oxidation. Excellent for chains, pivot joints, and for loosened nuts and bolts. Under extreme temperatures and humidity, high-grade petroleum oils provide optimum lubrication.

Brand: Tri- Flow

👤This lube is the best for the money, but it's loaded with a toxic substance called Teflon, which is toxic when eaten, and it's production requires a lot of nasty chemicals. Do your best to only apply what you need and not to spill it or get67531 on where it drips. If it gets on them, wash your hands thoroughly. I worry about shop mechanics using this stuff because of how toxic it is. I've tried many alternatives. The other organic options are not very good and the light natural oils don't last long. I don't use wax lubricants. This and other teflon-based lubes are the only options left.

👤I was asked to rate the scent. Why do we rate the lubricants on their smell? Yeah, it has a smell. Wouldn't it be foolish for the manufacturer to make an inferior product in order to appease Amazon's stupid review metric? I wouldn't want to wear it. Asking about taste is more relevant. I rated the smell 5 stars and recommend you do the same. I wasn't expecting to be impressed by the performance after spending so much time on the positive reviews. I'm a lube freak. I own a lot of different types of lube. I've been interested in lubricating oils containing PTFE. Wet and dry. I've found this to be the best performing and most versatile of the 5 or so lubes that I've purchased on Amazon. How they hold up once they've been applied remains to be seen. Bike chains in arid/dusty conditions are the only thing I prefer dry or film PTFE lubes for. It is difficult to remove dust and grime in places where performance is at risk. This lube doesn't seem to be prone to that kind of build up, so maybe the PTFE comes in. It's hard to say. There is a I've found it works well for door hinges, lubricating tap bits before tapping holes, and hair clippers, but dry lubrication is not worth the risk. anyway lubricating sand paper for polishing, lubricating sliding door & window tracks, lubricating the ball bearing on an old fan, and so on, is not a concern. It's done in the factory. I'm not going to experiment at the moment. I used it to assist a spray catalyst on a rusted on brake rotor in a moment of desperation.

👤It was the "best" for bike chains in all types of conditions, according to many reviews. This is not correct. If you have a door hinge on your bike, it's great for pivot points or brackets, but if you have a chain that's dry, it'll be black goop in no time. This goop will hit you in the face. I have switched to a dry lube that has better results. This isn't the best for a bike chain if you ride in wet conditions.

👤Very good product. I use it for vintage sewing machine restoration and it's perfect, it frees up a stuck machine better than any other oil I've used. This is the standard for sewing machine restoration right now, and I'm not the only one who likes it. The tube is taped to the side of the bottle and I didn't like it. It would be better if it was a pull out type like you see on other small oil bottles, so you wouldn't have to put it in the tip of the bottle and then put it in the tape for storage. The oil is good, but it has a bit of an odor. If you don't use a lot, the odor isn't bad. The oil has conditioners in it that help clean the gears of old oil, which is awesome, and worth a tiny bit of odor.
