👤I've never written a review for anything. I wrote one for this product after I was asked by the 100th person in my town to buy a baby bikeseat. I haven't seen anyone with this type of bike seat for their child. I live in a college town with around 10k students and a 30k population. I have ridden every inch of our town with my youngest. I always have him in a helmet. I would recommend you do the same, this picture was just a photo opp, I will get to that later. I have been riding my son in this seat since he was around 11 months old and I would have done it sooner if I had gotten the seat sooner. The seat is rated at 32 pounds and my son is 22 pounds. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 200 pounds, so I have the seat mounted on my Trek mountain bike. The assembly took about 15 minutes and there are some videos on the internet if you need them. I don't have a problem keeping up with my two teenagers and the little one in this seat. I have to keep my legs a little wider for my size. There is a This seat was very useful at both baseball and softball games this summer. I saw a lot of parents trying to keep their baby entertained while it was hot. I had my son in this seat and we would watch the game for a bit, then do a few laps around the ball park, and then pull up to the fence to watch the game again. I would hear someone say "I need to get a seat like that" at least five or 10 times a day. Also back to the helmet. While I'm totally confident in my ability to ride mountain bikes, I did have one time when I was stopped, and turned the front wheel to go into a part on a sidewalk, but the wheel stuck wrong, and the bike went over in a split second. He was ok because this seat has his arms to his sides and the outer shell protects there, his legs/ feet were strapped in, and he was protected in the event of an accident. He was fine. I feel very safe with this seat on a bike, it's much safer than a seat behind me, I can't see it or a good center of gravity. There is a I would give this product 6 stars, but I would not say it would allow it. You need to get this seat if you're reading this or thinking about it. In a day and age where parents and kids spend a lot of time on tablets, phones and using technology, it's important to get outside and exercise. The best memories of the summer were riding the bike with the kids.
👤We bought this to use with our 2 year old until our 4 month old is big enough to use it. There is a There isn't enough room for the adult to pedal normally. I have to pedal with my legs out. After a short ride, my hip flexors were on fire. I lean over to hold onto the steering wheel as my helmet hits my chest. His head is being pushed forward. He was ok with it, but it was annoying to me. For the price, I really wanted to like this kids bike seat, but it just doesn't work for someone my size on a standard mountain bike. I haven't tried to mount it to my wife's bike because it doesn't work for me, and I'm not entirely sure how well it would mount on women's bikes or bikes without horizontal frame bar on top. We are going to try iBert Safe-T-Seat after returning this one. There is a It's easy to install and it's good overall support for the child and seems to keep them safe. There is not enough room to pedal normally, not able to adjust forward anymore, and the harness is kind of clumsy and would have been better if it had more clips for easier on and off.
The bike is designed with 26 inch wheels and is comfortable for people of 5'4" to 6'2" in height. It is easy to use and maintain a single speed drivetrain. Both front and rear fender help keep clothing clean in damp weather. Wide upright handlebars provide a stable ride and the cruiser saddle absorbs bumps. Easy step-through access can be achieved with a super low, step-through aluminum frame. The bike has a limited lifetime warranty.
👤I bought this bike after reading a lot of reviews. I ordered the bike from Amazon's Warehouse Deals. I paid a good price. I am a 52 year old woman who does not have a lot of mechanical experience, but it was a beautiful day when the bike arrived. I got my iced tea and sat on my porch to figure it out. My husband and son helped me confirm that I did something right. I was able to put the bike together. I'm glad I did, because now adjustments make more sense to me. I know how the parts work. There is a If you're just hoping for a quick experience, you may want to pay a bike shop. I think the bike was a great value and I rate it 5 stars. It seems to be working. For those who read reviews, here are some notes that might help. There is a I read a lot of reviews that said they were hoping for a more blue bike. The bike is silvery blue, not a darker color like Slate, so it should be called "Ice Blue" or something like that. There is a I ordered from Amazon Warehouse Deals and they said the item would be re-packaged. The box was roughed up from shipping, but when I opened it, the inner box held all the bike parts and was frightening. There are dents in the cardboard. I wonder if shipping is really hard on dents. mine was double boxed I wonder if it was returned because of the condition of the box. The box did not seem to have been opened and sealed. I think this is a shipping issue and perhaps unavoidable when you have parts that are easily bent out of shape. There is a I had to look at the diagram, re-read it and think, but I figured them out. I saw a video on the internet of a guy who was mechanical and putting a bike together for his parents and he had the same issues I had. I used after searching. The grease for the handlebar stem is working great. When I adjusted the handlebars, I had to laugh at the smell of menthol. If you don't have a tube of grease they call for, you can use Vaseline. I told a mechanical friend that this will be fine, we're not dealing with high temperatures or huge amounts of friction. I had to bend them into shape to keep them from rubbing, and I had to make sure they were lined up with the bolts. If it is to you, you're warned. If you can't find the stem for the seat, look inside the frame and see if there's a hole that people think they don't have one. It might take a while to get the brakes adjusted. If this doesn't sound like something you want to mess with, then take it to a bike shop for assembly. I didn't mind the changes. This is not a two wheel bike. If you don't remember this, you may think something is wrong. If you learned to ride a two wheel bike, you lean to keep balance. Leaning on this bike will make you feel off balance. You might even want to lean out of a turn. I felt a bit weird on this trike at first, but I took a deep breath and remembered that this was different. As time goes on, it's much better. The road where I live is graded to allow rain to run off so if I'm on the road, it will feel off balance. I only take the road for a short time, then I ride the rails-to-trails near our home. I can work with it better there, as it is graded slightly more for the rain. If the trail is clear, I just take my spot up the middle and my fellow bikers let me know they are coming with a friendly call or ring of their bell and I move over. It's a good thing. Mount/dismount: I whacked the back of my legs with the back wheels. I need to remember that unlike a 2 wheel bike, I have to watch for them. There is a seat. I'm a middle aged woman with an ample middle aged figure. I don't feel bad about looking for a wider, more comfortable seat since I got a nice price on the bike. I only went about 3 miles at a time until I switched seats. There is a If you want a flawless, seamless experience to get up and running, look elsewhere or get professional help to assemble and fine tune. If you're willing to deal with a few small issues, you can get a great trike.
The bike has a limited lifetime warranty. The steel-framed mountain bike with all-terrain knobby tires is a great way to conquer any off-road trail. The threadless headset has an adjustment for riders of different heights, and the strong, lightweight alloy rims keep the weight down. Ride with beach cruiser pedals and make sure you are safe. The hills are easier to climb with a rear derailleur with seven speeds. The bike is ready to be assembled. The size is for adult riders who are 5' 6 to 6' tall.
👤I was very excited to get this bike. I used to do this for Trek. It wasn't my first rodeo, and I took off down my street for the maiden voyage. Within 800 feet of my driveway, the cheap plastic chain guard, prowheel brand, shattered into six pieces, cut my legs, and I went end over end. The bike feels great, but it is made of plastic. Don't buy if you're warned. There was an update on 8-19-18. Amazon sent me the same bike and I got back my money. The front disc brake was crumple like paper as I applied light pressure to it, relying on the rear to slow down on a gentle curve. I went into some bushes. The front fork was twisted. I would show that as well. I stripped the bike and made it 888-282-0465. It's going back to Amazon. You should be ashamed of yourselves for selling cheap bikes under a once noble name, and for having no customer support. I have the ability to influence anyone for the rest of my life.
👤I'm trying to get healthy again and the idea of being locked away in the gym on stationary machines sounded very unattractive. The idea of an outdoor bike came to mind. I was very worried that I wouldn't find a bike that could hold the mount. I was afraid that I would look like a man on a bike. The Dolomite Fat Tire Mountain Bike has made me less afraid. The fat tires bring some balance to my watermelon like shape while on it, as well as holding my robust body. I recommend this bike to anyone who wants to get healthy again.
👤I bought this bike a year ago and have been using it as a trail bike. This bike is a good candidate for the theory of gradually upgrading a bike for people who are curious about fat bikes. The bones of the frame, wheels, tubes, tires and seat have stood up to regular use on rocky trails and steep fire roads. I treated this bike to a brand new Kenda Juggernaut rear tire because I like it so much. I was happy to upgrade parts from my spare parts bin because most of the stock components were not my liking. Not everyone has one of these. I pulled some better gear from my spare parts bin because I wanted to use it for more than cruising on sand, and everything worked when I got it. When I bring my bike for a group ride, my regular mountain biking friends occasionally trade me for a portion of our ride and have been pleasantly surprised that the bike geometry is actually comfortable and the bike doesn't feel as slow as it looks. I configured mine to run a 26 tooth chain ring in the front and a 14-34T Freewheel in the back, which provided more reasonable gear for climbing. Hope this helps someone make a purchase.
👤I read reviews and researched on fat tire bikes before buying 2 of them for myself and my wife. Positive and negative reviews on Amazon were both accurate, I would say. My wife's bike arrived and was put together nicely, she went on the beach. My bike was not the only story. The box was falling apart and there was plastic on the bottom of it. I put it together. I am not using the front disc brake because it is broken. It's inconvenient that the chain slips off the back sprockets. I received a PDF with instructions on making adjustments, and was told if that didn't work I could return it to Amazon. Both are not good options. I don't know how to package it up and send it back. By looking at my wife's bike, it's possible that all goes well, because it's a nice bike at a nice price. Is my bike? I'm not sure what to do. I will have to try to fix it.
Not compatible with disc brakes. There are many used bikes, including 26", 28", and 29" 700c Mountain Bike/Road Bike/BMX/Adults Bike/City Bike Storage. It is easy to install a bottom mount that fits on a bike's chainstay neck. Adaptability is possible without the need for tools with the quick and easy push button latch design. AnyANGLESTANCE makes parking easier. It's great for even ground because riders can adjust their bikes to rest at any angle they want. The non-sLIP sole and wide reinforced plastic foot prevent slipping and sinking in mud.
👤The kickstand I got yesterday wouldn't work with my bike. The frame of my 29 inch mountain bike was too thick for the kick stand and it was the only one that would work. The kick stand that came with the bike is not the best in the world. The bike broke two lights when it fell over. I don't know if kickstand will work, so I'm not going to order them anymore. If it doesn't work, I can take it back.
👤It seemed to work. I bought this in September. The kickstand that holds the bicycle's handlebars snapped in two this morning. I expect something that I buy for my bike to last more than 3 months. This is ridiculous.
👤There is nothing to diminish the function.
The bike is ready to be assembled and the wheels are 29 inches. This bike kickstand is suitable for mountain bikes. The push button latch design makes it easy to adjust the length of the kickstand without the need for tools. The material is made from high quality aluminum alloy material and is very strong. Non-Slip foot is made to resist slipping on wet surfaces and sinking in mud. Installation is easy with the 8mm wrench and include wrench.
👤When the kickstand is up, it bends into the spokes and rear tire of a bike. Amazon should not sell this item because it is a bad design. It's junk! The kickstand can interfere with the rear tire of a bike. I believe it would cause a rider to fall, because it would damage the spokes of the bike. Don't buy this kickSTAND!
👤It's pretty useless because it was used for a couple months. It took some to install. It was time to line up mounting, so I didn't hit my foot on it or rub it in the tire. At first, the adjustability is good. The button and spring kept popping out, and the housing broke, as shown in the picture. The problem with this is that the bottom of the kickstand will not stay at the adjustment that allows the bike to stay standing. I don't ride a bike very often, so my use is less than someone who does. It wouldn't be a good idea. If you're looking for something that will last, look elsewhere.
👤This is the 3rd rate kickstand. My daughter's mountain bike broke after a couple months. It is easy to install, but when in the up position it has a lot of play that can cause it to wobble and contact the frame. The plastic foot section broke and the spring was lost. The stand fell off because the spring held the plastic end onto it. My wife's bike has worked perfectly for 9 months with the 'BV' kickstand. There is a It may work for those who don't ride much, but I wouldn't let anyone ride on gravel or rocky trails.
👤It's pretty good. The feature is easy to use, but cheap. It was a challenge to install on my bike. The bolt would be better if it was a lower profile. The paint is black.
👤The kickstand is not long enough for my bike. There is a The kickstand is too close to the lower frame and too far in when it retreats. One can't kick it to stand with one foot. The kickstand needs hand use to stand. There is a The center mount area of my bike is not covered by the cover plate.
👤I just installed a 1500 watt rear wheel Ebike kit and needed to replace the rear kickstand on my mountain bike. The kickstand was prevented from being reuse. I received a new one and it changed my expectations. It was easy to install and looked perfect. It came a bit early. Very happy with the purchase.
👤cheap plastic is used to make the foot. The foot broke when the bike tipped over. The stand is well constructed.
👤The bike stands are not built to hold bikes. The rubber boot broke after a few months of use and won't work anymore. There are two The kick stand doesn't stop at the correct place, so it ends up hitting the bike frame, and scratched the bike frame. These stands do more damage than you think.
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If the Kickstand is damaged within 90 days, you will be able to get a replacement. The Bonafide Mountain Bike has a powerful suspension fork that soaks up bumps and thumps to give you a fun, durable riding experience. The front and rear derailleurs make it easy to change gear. The front and rear mechanical disc brakes provide crisp all condition stopping out on the trail. The double wall alloy rim is light and strong for added durability. The bike is ready to be assembled and the wheels are 29 inches.
👤I wanted to try mountain biking. At my age, maybe I should be playing golf or putting airplane models together. My midlife crisis has changed. There is a I thought this bike would be a good entry level bike for me to ride and see if I like the sport. I had ridden a few times a week for about four months. I had a good record of no falls or near death experiences, I was enjoying the sport, and I found some friends to ride with. The freewheel decided to give up. I was riding with my friends on a moderate 12 mile trail with some decent climbs, a few rock gardens, and great scenery. The freewheel was locked up with three miles to go. A freewheel disengages from the drive while you coast, as you know. Instead of being disconnected, it remained engaged and pushed the chain forward, either onto a different gear or off the gears. I had a gear lottery when I stopped pedaling. I was going too fast down the hill. I had to continue to pedal or lose the lottery. I was applying the brakes and pedaling at the same time. There was a sharp turn when I got to the bottom of the hill. I was in trouble because I was going too fast. I hit the brakes when I stopped pedaling. The chain was pushed off the gears. I needed some power to maneuver through the sand on the corner. I lost control of the bike when the chain came off as I pushed on the pedals. I came to a stop after sliding for a few feet. I had a nice rash on my body. It hurt. It hurt very badly. I had two miles to go. I tried to keep the pedals moving, but it was too late. I kept sliding off the handlebars because of the blood flowing over the grips. I made it to the end of the trail and spent two weeks nursing my wounds. There is a Thanks, Schwinn. I had to spend money on a tool to remove the freewheel, a new freewheel and spacers, and a lemon of a freewheel to replace it, all because the original was too tight. I spent a lot on bandages. I contacted Schwinn to see if the limited warranty would cover a new freewheel. They said it would be some time before they could get to my email. That was a few weeks ago. I'm still waiting. I know you pay for what you get. This is not a top of the line mountain bike. A freewheel should last more than four months. It didn't. I've paid a heavy price. The bike is made for slow rides around the neighborhood. I took some of the stars off for my pain and suffering and the false representation of it being a mountain bike. I'll try it out with the upgraded freewheel for a few weeks and see if it works out. At my age, I will brush with superheroes and my own mortality. One way or another, I may be done.
The suspension fork is designed for versatile riding. The 700c wheel size is for riders who are 5'4” to 6'2” in height. The rear derailleur provides precise gear changes. V-brakes are made of alloy. The double wall rims are lightweight. There is plenty of grip on or off road with multi-use tires.
👤I rode the bike out for 2 days. The pedal broke off in traffic and it almost sent me under the bus. I had to clock less than 15 miles on this before it happened, and I rode it on mostly level ground. The pedal and pedal arms are both made of aluminum and are prone to wear. I almost ended up under the truck that I was riding next to. There is a Schwinn made a manufacturing change that could not cost more than $15. Casting or pressing the parts from steel can be done to prevent the pedals from coming loose. This change would have meant that they couldn't reuse the casting mold for the pedals and would need one for each pedal and this was the reason for the decision to reduce the life of the bike. The bike is not a good example of greed for revenue. This bike would have been a 5-star review. I can't recommend this bike to the worst of enemies because of the Greed for profit margin.
👤I have owned about 10 bikes over the years and am an experienced rider. The Schwinn LeTour Luxe was my first lightweight bike. I believe in about 1979. The Schwinn GTX2 was boxed better than average. The parts were present. After the assembly of the suspension fork/caliper, the front rotor was installed and runs true. I adjusted the cable to get 1/32 clearance. The flat bar assembly was standard installation. Both of the rims are close to trued. It was easy to modify the rear caliper/rotor. Both front and rear shifting was smooth and right on the money. The pedals and cranks are clearly marked. Everyone's experience is unique and I can't imagine PC putting the wrong size pedal post in there. I wouldn't change the seat because it's above average. The 30" measurement is accurate and does translate to "S" as advertised. The suspension fork makes the bar feel a little taller when the seat height is low. I don't like it that way. I set the seat at 6-7" and was happy with it. The seatpost is non-adjustable and the seat has an angle. There is a I did a dumb thing. I intended to surprise my wife when I bought the wrong size. Only "XS" hybrid are rare on Amazon. How about it Amazon, do better on selection?
👤There is a item called the GTX Elite. A male is 5'5" and 150 pounds. The bike is a good value. It took me about an hour to unbox and put together, just make sure you have a set of Allen wrench ready. It's important to inflate the tires to the proper pressure when you put it together. I thought I could use a small hand pump, but it made the first few rides a lot more difficult than they should have been by not inflating them to the correct psi. When I bought the Schwinn Air Center Plus, I found out that the tires were under 40 psi on my first few rides, and that they were up to 70 on my last ride. I'm probably not going to change the seat because it works just fine. If you're under 5'3 it might be a little big for you, but the 18inch frame is perfect for my size. I put about 50 miles on it so far and it takes me about 30 minutes to get from my house to work. The daily commute to work is a lot more fun with this bike.
Two tone injected high impact resistant plastic The sport type is cycling. It's suitable for mountain bike, road bike, folding bike. The material is made from high quality aluminum alloy material and has top quality and very strong. The length is adjusted by removing the screw in the kickstand with the 4mm wrench. The kickstand should be adjusted from 12 to 14. The bike kickstand has a flat non-slip foot to ensure more resting stability. Installation is easy with the 8mm wrench. The package includes 2 wrench and one 4mm wrench.
👤The kickstand seems strong. The center bolt is made of thick material. The bike doesn't balance properly if the kickstand is too far forward. The stand is too far from the ground. There is a The stand length was stripped with minimal force so I couldn't adjust it.
👤This was attached to my son's box bike. It works perfectly.
👤It is easy to install and works well.
👤Does not fit a child's bike. It is too tall. It appears to be well built.
👤The kickstand was difficult to adjust. It broke in half after a few weeks.
👤I put rhino hide tape on the frame. This kickstand is a great value.
The 700c size wheel is for adults. The bike comes unassembled and has a limited lifetime warranty. The full suspension frame is made of high quality steel. The steel crown suspension fork has a design. The Double Wall Rims have 36 spokes. The rear derailleur. Micro Shift 7 speed shift.
👤I can not speak to the mechanics of the bike because I haven't taken it out for a spin yet. Assembly was easy if you have the necessary tools. The bike was rated three by me because of the damaged tube. It is thought that during the packaging process one of the tire/tubing valves may have been forced into an unnatural position, causing it to tear and leak out. I would expect the parts to be in good shape for the cost of the bike. It looks like a good bike. I will update this once I take it out for a ride.
👤The welding was good. I don't know if I would order a bike online again. The shipping box was damaged in many places and one hole bent the piece photographed so much that it was in the spikes. My builder was able to bend it to the correct position. I didn't put it together so I'm not sure how easy it was to build. The reflective piece on the front wheel broke.
👤I bought this online because the local bike shops were out of used and new bikes. The bike was delivered on July 8, 2020. The spoke was bent from being shipped with the steering wheel neck. The gear shift mechanism on the rear wheel was bent badly and the left brake adjusting screw was bent. A lot of adjusting needs to be done, from brakes, steering column, and gears, as it would over shift past first gear, causing the chain to come off, and not shift into seventh gear. I would not buy a bike online again. I haven't tried to ride it yet.
👤All the local shops were sold out when we bought this online. I finally found this one. The handlebars are not straight when we open the box. When we attempt to ride the bike, the entire chain system just broke in half, and the bike is not safe to ride. Returned!
👤This is a good bike for the price. The bike came with a derailleur that wasn't aligned, and it wouldn't go to 7th. Graphics are not put on very well and that's the only other issue. The rim was good. The bike has been great with minor adjustments.
👤The product was flawed. The front of the crank is backwards and there is no way to fix it.
👤It took awhile for this bike to arrive but there was a huge shortage of bikes worldwide during the covid 19 situation. The bike is very comfortable and easy to ride, and it was a bit over $220.00, but it was a great bike. It was easy to assemble if you have done it before. I would recommend this bike to anyone. You can ride it around your neighborhood.
👤The bike is beautiful. It is comfortable and rides smoothly.
👤It was easy to assemble the bike pieces that were on the arribal, they were in great condition and the box had minimum damage.
👤The bike is easy to assemble. The seat is very comfortable.
There is plenty of grip on or off road with multi-use tires. Highly competitive: It fits most mountain bikes. The height can be adjusted by pressing the red button, the range is from 18 to 33 cm. Strong and swift. The kickstand is made with high quality materials and has an extra top. It's easy to install, just use one wrench and screw off the screws on the bike frames. They offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If the Kickstand is damaged within 90 days, you will be able to get a replacement.
👤A new addition to my bike. It can't be thrown on the ground or on a stick. The kicksrand is easy to install and it's super stable because of the two points it has on the frame. The stand is very strong. I would not allow anyone to sit on the bike. The stand is easy to use, but may have a weight limit because of the sliding hinge.
👤When I installed my e bike, it was great for about 10 seconds, but then it started to descend from the highest setting to the lowest. I tried everything to make it work, but it didn't. I had to drill a small hole and install a metal screw to keep it in place because I didn't want to have to take it off and return it. That worked but not all the time. I wouldn't buy it again.
👤Quality materials and well designed. There is a solid mounting. Leg adjustment is very good. I hold up my fat tire bike. There are heavy bags. My bike has a perfect balance. I plan on buying my son and my other bike more than one.
👤The item arrived quickly and well packaged. The listing had clear pictures and it was easy to figure out how to install. Installation tool with only one Allen wrench. I was going to ding the product by one star for not including instructions but I decided to keep it at 5 stars because it's a good quality item. This is a well-made item. There are not many good options for the type of bike I have. There is a I didn't tighten the screws very hard because I was worried about damage to the frame. As you can see in the picture, it's holding up the bike very well. The adjustment is very pleasant. You push the red button and the end of the kickstand clicks into the grooves on the shaft. I was able to adjust the tilt angle of the bike on the kickstand. I also purchased the full-size pedals. They are very nice.
👤This is a great value and high quality kickstand, but it took me a while to figure out how to install it. If you paid for my bike, you will want a kickstand, even if you don't want to throw it on the ground or up against a tree. And this one is great! Get it?
👤I've purchased 2 of these mounts. I think it's great. You will need an allen wrench to fix the kick stand. The kick stand is designed to hold onto parts of the frame at the rear wheel. I like that it mounts to the rear wheel because the pedals won't interfere with the kick stand if you were to move the bike backwards. The bike's pedal moves when it is pushed backwards. If you have a kick stand mounted at the pedals, it will block the pedals. There is a The kick stand will keep the bike upright and I have not found it to be easy to knock it over.
The mountain bike is durable and can be used for neighborhood rides. The crank has less maintenance. Quick gear changes on the trail can be made with twist shifters and rear derailleurs. Light and durable alloy wheels add stability to all-terrain, knobby mountain tires. The seat post makes it easy to adjust the height.
👤The bycicle is easy to assemble, the breaks are nice, and the quality is good. I'm 5'3" and have a weight of around 153 lbs and an inseam of 30", this size is perfect for me. I had to go through a lot of comments to find out if this bike was the right height for me. I can lift it without much effort, even though it is heavier than I thought. I would like the seat to be more comfortable. I will be updating this review.
👤I had a bike shop make it for my 9 year old son. They commented on the poor parts. I thought a $200 bike was more than enough for my daughter's age. The bike shop can't get the derailleurs adjusted right because they don't shift properly and it's not safe for a kid's bike. The chain fell off the gear and onto the guard. The bike shop worked on it a second time after I test rode it. It was me on the bike that I went from pedaling normally with resistance to zero resistance on the pedals very abruptly which is a dangerous situation for a child. I regret buying this bike, I'm into it for almost $300, and I'll probably junk it and buy a better bike at a bike shop. I don't think it's right to sell it or leave it at the curb as some poor kid will eventually get it and potentially hurt themselves on it. There is a Oh yes. Schwinn offered to send parts which I could pay for to have a bike shop install. I'm done spending more money on this thing. The design of the bike is terrible, even if they get it set right, it won't last anyway, according to the guys at the bike shop. There is a If you want to spend more money on a bike, I would recommend you to go to a good shop. If you have to, buy a big one so they can keep it longer. This trash or anything like it should not be bought.
👤I have read many reviews about this bike. I bought it for my wife. It was easy to assemble. The handlebars are too low. The gears don't work. Good luck trying to get it to gear up or down if you are caught in mid-gear. I have never been so disappointed with a purchase. I will not buy a Schwinn again. I was going to get her a Trek and that is what I should have done. I hope the shop will give me a credit for only riding the bike once. The bike is not made to ride on the bike paths. The bike sucks, it's not rough terrain. I would be happy to get a refund.
👤When I was hit by a car, I started looking for a new bike. I was lucky to be alive after hitting the pavement, but my old Murray Redwing was not so lucky. I gave my son a 1972 Schwinn Collegiate, so it was time for a new bike. I was naive enough to think I could replace the Redwing with 100 clams. The best bikes in the under $200 range can be found online. Many bikes listed online by big box stores never make it to the store. Some are shipped from a different retailer than you are buying it from. There is a If you can't try it out, how do you find out which bike is right for you? You have to dig into the very limited specifications provided by the sellers. It's a small - medium - large choice to fit your body size. Many bikes have issues when you read bike reviews in this price range. Cheap parts, bad mechanisms, or shoddy factory assembly are mostly the things that happen. You need to read the customer reviews. It will be a problem for you if the same design flaws are repeated in the reviews. There is a If you are buying a bike for a long time, you should steer clear of Fad Designs and Trendy Paint finishes. Make your decision after you narrow it down to 3 bikes. If you are trying to get the lowest price, be patient as they fluctuate daily. There is a I chose the Schwinn High Timber 27.5 because I believed it would fit me and offer quality. I never found this bike in a store before buying it. Schwinn is not listed on the web site. It has a white 18-Inch Frame. The tires are 27 inches in diameter. There is not much you can do with the box. Only Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, and Front Tire can be added. There are 3 tools needed, an open end or a screwdriver, and a bike pump. I went over the nuts and bolts to make sure they were tight. The front brake has to be loosened in order to get the quick release tire on. The gears were in perfect condition. There is a The front shock seems to have a good amount of elasticity. I've tried some bikes where you sit on them and the suspension bottoms out. The seat is not comfortable or uncomfortable. The Knurled Seat Post with Quick Release can be replaced with a bolt. The front tire uses a small diameter threaded rod which doesn't seem like it could be replaced with a larger bolt. The paint job is rated an "A" overall. There are signs of paint on the cable holders. The front forks have a small Metal Flake. The 3 color graphics are silk screened and only a few stickers are added. There is a The spokes and hubs are black. The inner flat of the rim is painted black, but it's hard to tell by the pictures. The frame is solid and the welds could be better done by robot. The no name tires are so-so quality, not alot of nubs, and you can see the mold seams in the center. The Quality Kickstand with rubber tip is what comes with the Pedals. There are additional mounts for the water bottle. The average weight for a steel frame bike is 40 lbs. The Handlebar is on the short side at 24 inches and has room for a few add on's. The 21 speed Shifters have 7 Speeds on the right side and 3 on the left side. The rear derailleur is called "Shimano Tourney TX". There is a The bike is an 18-inch frame with 27.5 size tires. It's a little bigger than a standard 26 inch bike and a little smaller than the High Timber with 29 inch tires. The most important factor for me was my size and fit. The bike would be too tight for me if the handlebars were closer. I have raised the handlebars a bit. I have raised the seat to get a straight leg stroke. You are sitting on this bike. I am riding it on paved streets. The Schwinn High Timber is a good fit for me. It looks nice, rides well, and has a wide range of pedaling power. I think you are getting a quality build with dependability in this price range. The Schwinn brand name is what you would expect. I think this High Timber fills the bill for a long time. This review can help you with your decision.
